A Blue Moon In Your Eyes

Chapter 4

The sunlight was ascending the sky. The dazzling orange glow reflected across the fjord. Fishermen were returning from the day's work. But a few seagulls were still skimming and diving for fish. The sea breeze flew across her cheeks, making her more calm and relaxed than before. She heard giggles coming from Olaf, who was running across, behind her. Her feet touched the cool sea, making her shiver in the cold. She felt another foot touching her. She lifted her head to see Kristoff smiling down at her. Everything in there was great but she still wished to see her dear sister.

Being with Elsa was very much different than being with Kristoff. Like how she would sit closely with her, linking her arms with her sister and laying her head on Elsa's shoulders. That feeling was very different from Kristoff's. The more she thought about her, the more she missed her.

Ryder and Honeymaren left this morning after they had warned about the HevnSeier. They told her that they were a group of people known for their black magic. They were a group of people filled with pride and vengeance. That moment she knew that they were the ones who Pabbie warned her about. Innocent lives will be taken. Those words made her anger and fear rise to the peak.

Everything happened to her was something that she thought that never would happen. Like how Elsa shut her out suddenly, how her parents left them in a shipwreck, how she came to know that her sister possessed magic powers, how she knew her mother was a Northuldren. How her grandfather was an evil man. And now her being a queen.

Elsa was always the one who had every inch of a queen in her. Her way of speaking, her way of walking, her way of thinking. Everything about her was perfect about being a queen. But she was nothing like her. It made her feel useless, made her feel unworthy of being a queen. Why did she become a monarch when she had no grace in her?

"What are you thinking about?" The voice of Kristoff startled her. "Nothing.", she denied with her eyes. "You were clearly lost in thoughts. Your eyes were vacant." Kristoff took her hand with his'. "You can tell me anything, feisty pants." Anna looked at him deep in thought. "Kristoff, why do you love me?" It took a moment for Kristoff to process those words.

"I mean, you should have loved someone who is nicer than me. Someone who is not a spare. Someone who is not clumsy or goofy. You should have loved someone like my sister who is a lot better than me.", she told him looking away.

"Anna? Why do you think I should love someone like Elsa? I love you because you are goofy and funny. And I am never fond of blonde hairs.", he said chuckling. But he stopped when he saw Anna's face. "Hey. What's wrong?", he asked her softly. He felt her press his hands. She

swallowed her lump in the throat. "Kristoff? Do you think I'm fit for being a queen? I am not regal or elegant like Elsa. I am not good with words. The only thing I am good at is in eating and sleeping. I feel I'm not worthy to be a queen. I can't even walk straight, I'm clumsy Kristoff. Why did Elsa abdicate her position to me? Doesn't she know that I am not queenly?", she asked him, lips quivering.

"This is what you have been thinking this whole time? Anna." He looked into her eyes. "Anna, being queen doesn't mean that you have to be regal and queenly. That isn't the thing that your people want. They want a monarch to be one who cares about them, who leads them. And Elsa made the best decision making you as our queen. Do you know why? Because you stood before an assassin's sword and saved your queen, not even minding your life. You were the best ambassador for your queen throughout her rule. Even when after your sister was dead, you knew what to do to save your people, your kingdom."

"Even when Arendelle was your home, you stood on what was right. You saved Nothuldra. You were brave enough to bring the earth giants to break the dam. That is the queen who we need. A queen who is brave, who is just, who is kind, who cares for her people. And Elsa didn't abdicate the throne because you were her only choice. It's because you were the only one whom she trusts the most. She trusts you that you will take care of Arendelle. And we do too. You are more than what you think of yourself Anna. And I love just the way you are. Because I know my love for you was never a fragile one." Anna just stared at him. She didn't know what to say. She was overwhelmed at the confession. "I don't know what to say. Thank you Kristoff." She hugged him with all her love.

Kristoff's chin was on top of her head. Then she opened her eyes to see that the fjord was filled with moon light. Making the waters shine with it. "Aww! I love warm hugs!", Olaf said as he hugged them tight. It didn't take much time for Sven to join them. But the group knew it wasn't finished without their missing family member. They wished Elsa was here now.

The forest was dark. The trees blocked the moonlight from entering the woods. The Arendellian soldiers were having lanterns with them, searching for a small clue to find their former queen. It's been days. They have found none.

"Sir! Over here.".Lieutenant Winfield heard one of his men call him. He quickly made his way towards the voice.

There he saw a collapsed building. It's entrance was blocked by a large rock, which was seemed to be collapsed. He dismounted from his horse and called a few men to move it away.

After a few growls and grunts, they managed to pull it away. He turned to his men. "I want a few to come with me. The rest of you stay here. This place seems suspicious." They went in. Their lanterns lit the dark place. The more they got it, the more nauseous they felt. The building looked more like a cave. It had rooms in it. They saw skeletons lying across their paths.

The broken parts swung dangerously off the roof. But when they went in, the sight made the men stop in shock. There were other people lying dead on the floor. Some because of the roof that had collapsed on them.

They realized that it was a room. But the room was covered in ice. But not a simple one. It was unique and stood there, without melting. They went in to see bloodied swords lying there. Some men went further in. That place would have smelt like rusted iron if the ice was not there.

He felt stepping on something and bent down to see what was down there on the cold floor. It was a small locket with a different language printed on it. It was perfectly shaped with a thin woolen strap on it.

He looked towards the soldiers. One of them brought him a strange metal. It somehow looked like a curved sword. "What is this? He asked them.

"We don't know. But there is something strange about this. This is different from any other weapon on here."

He looked at it for a moment and then nodded. "We need to keep moving. Seems like we are close to what we are searching for."

They breathed the fresh air when they came out. Winfield felt like he was been watched. He felt like this search will not be a simple one. He turned to his men. "I need two volunteers.", he announced the men who came with him inside the building. Two men came in front of him. "Tell her Majesty whatever you saw here. We will be making our way deeper into the woods." He gave them the locket and the mysterious weapon.

"Make sure that your words are clear. No more no less than what you saw here. And you don't have to come back here. We don't know the way where we will be going. Am I clear?"

"Yes sir!" Both the soldiers took their horses and sprinted towards the kingdom. He hoped that they would find something more or even Her Highness on their way. "Let's move.", he ordered the men.

But unknown to them there was a woman, watching every move they took. After the Arendellian soldiers made their move inside she smirked at the. Just as we planned. She turned around and went to the one who sent her here. Her smirk grew when she realized that these men never knew what was going to happen to them soon after this.
