It was brought to my attention that in Canon Ise would be too powerful for Rias to Revive. the answer to how Ise is reincarnated is of power vs potential. In Canon, ISe took 8 peices because of the potential of the boosted gear. However, he was only able to use the power of one of those peices. In my story, Ise has utilized his potential. It doesnt mean he's worth more, just that he's able to use more.

anyway, here's the chapter.

It was common knowledge that Koneko despised everything to do with Ise, from his shoes to his thoughts to that pea-sized brain of his.

So when she appeared out of nowhere on the back of the one person that everyone thought she genuinely hated, it took everyone by shock. Even Grayfia grew a stunned look, which took Ise by delight.

Akeno was the first to recover. "Ara ara, don't tell me Koneko also fell under Ise's spell" she laughed, before suddenly adopting a glare. "So why is Koneko not in her bed, where she belongs?" She glared at Ise, who momentarily felt a moment of fear.

As Ise prepared to give an answer, but Koneko beat him to it. "Please don't get mad, Akeno. It's not like Ise had a choice. I kinda coerced him into it. What I didn't expect " and here she glared at Ise cutely, "Was that Ise was so stubborn that he wouldn't even let me walk down the stairs alone. So somewhere in his brain, he came up with the idea to pick me up and carry me on his shoulders." She said, before playfully swatting Ise on the head.

"I didn't want Koneko to fall down the stairs," he offered. It was a pathetic attempt.

Rias finally recovered and just shook her head. "Akeno, it's fine.You know as well as I do that nothing can stop Koneko when she puts her mind to it." she said with a smile. "Welcome back, Ise. How long will you be staying?" She said, before walking up to Ise and whispering "I missed you. We'll finish catching up later, okay?"

That's when Ise realized he hadn't seen Rias yet. "Oops." "Yeah, I missed you, too. Also, I go back to training tomorrow, old man Tannin has an idea. Mind you, that in itself is terrifying." He laughed. No one else did. "Anyway, he said that he might be able to help me surpass the balance breaker. I wasn't sure at first, but when we started talking about it, the more sure I got."

"Something stronger than balance breaker? But I didn't know you had that unlocked." Said Rias accusationally.

"About that… I've kind of had balance breaker for about a year and a half now. I've just never needed to use it. I only used it twice in front of you guys. The problem is that the Old Man thinks I have the potential to create something new, like a stronger version of the balance breaker that utilizes more of my max power/potential."

Everyone stared on in shock, surprised at the amount of power Ise had. Then…

"Wait, you said a year and a half ago? But there's no way you were strong enough!" Spoke Kiba.

"Do you mean to tell us that this entire time you've been lying to us?"

"You never asked. I'm a lot stronger than what you guys have seen. The fight with Riser was me fighting at 18 percent of my current power. Kokabiel was closer to 80%. And I train every night after everyone goes to sleep. Maybe tonight I can show you some of my full power?" He asked.

Everyone looked around. None were happy, but maybe if they saw his full power they could understand why he hid it. Eventually, they agreed. No one really talked to Ise but Koneko. It doesn't mean they weren't surprised at the fact Ise ate 15 whole plates of some of the most filling food ever, Koneko ate 6, and everyone else struggled to finish one. "You guys are monsters, eating all that food." Kiba joked. No one noticed how their faces darkened at the word 'monster'.

But everyone noticed the brief explosion of Aura from the 2 before it vanished, Ise's just a bit before Koneko's. Everyone knew Koneko had a strong aura because of her heritage, but Ise, who normally didn't have aura, surprised everyone and left them cold and shivering. Kiba spoke softly to himself softly, "what kind of monster is he?" Ise glanced at him, and looked away, before going to put his plate away. He stepped into the main hall. "I'll be here whenever you're ready."

Koneko quickly followed suit. "I'll be with Ise." She spoke. She quickly left the room.

They sat there huddled together for the next ten minutes, whispering sweet nothings in an attempt to calm each other down. Before everyone began to finish the food, before they quickly split apart.

"Alright, now that everyone's ready, let's go." Ise said, stepping out into the cool night air. Everyone followed him, but none spread their wings, thinking they were gonna walk because Ise couldn't fly because of his low demonic power.

Ise surprised everyone by spreading out a 6 foot wingspan of draconian wings. He spoke. "Koneko, get on. I don't want you using any more energy." Koneko knew he was right, and so got on his back. He told the others to follow him, then made his way into the trees. The others followed. Rias asked the question. "When were you gonna tell us about those?" it was an accusation.

"You never asked. And I just figured it out the other day with Tannin's help." He said, no venom in his voice.

Rias looked down in shame and they kept flying.

Eventually they found a clearing, and Ise set down, letting Koneko get off. He pulled out a bag of sweets for Koneko out of his pocket, before saying "just sit back and enjoy the show."

He then walked away a bit, then sat down. He closed his eyes, concentrating. Everyone watched in awe and excitement at his power began to grow. It kept on rising, passing Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Asia, Xenovia, and Koneko combined quickly. And he wasn't even using the Boosted Gear!

It then shot through the roof, matching the brief bit of power they had seen of The White Dragon Emperor, Vali. And still it climbed. Koneko let out her tail and ears, not being able to keep them in due to the sheer power around them. Ise took this as a sign, and instantly let off the pressure. "That was about 75% of my power without balance breaker. With the breaker, I'm approximately 100x stronger. And I can boost about 50000x in balance breaker. I'm powerful enough that Old Man Tannin says I can make a new form, but I have no idea how. Well, until recently. But I have a question." He then looked specifically at Koneko. "Do you want to watch me train tomorrow?"
