"Good, you guys got my message too." Batgirl said as she stood with the rest of her group.
"We sure did, Batgirl," Saiyaman nodded. "So, uh, you ready to do this?"
"I was born ready." Batgirl smirked.
"Uh, wasn't there one more of you though?" Zatanna asked.
"I'm afraid Lady Gothika will have to sit this one out for the sake of my life." Saiyaman replied.
"Not one to wake up when fast asleep" Supergirl guessed with a smirk.
Saiyaman smiled bashfully before nodding.
"Figures." Supergirl snorted as she rolled her eyes.
"C'mon then, guys," Batgirl told the others. "We got a boat to catch."
"Al Rescate!" Bat-Mite declared, as he turned his cape into bat-wings and flapped off towards the pier.
A drum was pounded as Diana was on her way back home with her family. The rest of the group made it behind the boat, luckily without being seen as the other Amazons worked together until the mother and daughter would return home. Batgirl soon made crazy gestures at the others to get them to follow her lead before she soon went under the water.
"I hope this isn't a bonehead statement, but I have no idea what that was supposed to mean." Thunder Boy said to the others.
"It's cool; neither did I," Bat-Mite replied. "Just roll with it."
For at least a few minutes, Batgirl got steadily closer to Diana, while making "PSST" noises to try and get her attention, until she was right behind her shoulder.
"...Why are you here, Barbara Gordon...?" Diana asked, her tone dismal.
"We're here to sneak you out," Batgirl replied. "See?" she gestured to her friends... All of whom had already been caught by the other Amazons.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" They winced as they were being clutched by their right ears.
"Busted." Saiyaman complained.
"And so fast too." Saiya Dog added.
"Ooh, that wasn't supposed to happen," Batgirl pouted before she was suddenly grabbed and picked up next, whimpering from the sharp pain. "Ow, ow, ow, ow!"
"How dare you board my vessel without permission?!" Queen Hippolyta firmly glared before commanding the other Amazons. "Throw them to the ocean beast Cetus!"
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" The others complained as that hurt.
"Oh, wait." Supergirl suddenly said before grunting as she punched the Amazon that had her and sent her flying.
"All right, guys," Nature Girl glared bravely as she and the others got free. "Let's go defend ourselves and try to save Diana."
"Montage time!" Thunder Boy said before he summoned a few clouds.
At once, the Super Hero Girls, and the other members of Alpha Brigade sprang into action, fighting against the Amazons, which caught Diana's attention.
"Wow!" Batgirl exclaimed as she pulled herself out of Hippolyta's grip.
"Diana, we won't let you go without a fight!" Jessica called in a suit of green medieval armor, while being hit on the head by an Amazon's sword.
"We're sorry we gave up, Diana!" Zatanna said while grappling with another.
"You gotta come back and be our leader again!" called Karen while she dipped and dodged an Amazon wielding a butterfly net.
"It's true!" Batgirl exclaimed while clinging to another Amazon's head. "Look how bad we are at this!"
"Hey, get off of her!" Saiyaman glared at the Amazons who piled on top of Supergirl, holding her down. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"
"Like you?" One of the Amazons retorted.
"Oops..." Saiyaman muttered as he flew away as they chased him, but he soon ended up right behind them and shot Kai Blasts at them once they were distracted and he smirked.
"You once said I could be the greatest hero the world of Man ever knew," Supergirl told Diana hopefully. "But it wasn't me, it's you!"
Diana soon smiled warmly, looking and feeling touched by the sentiment as Batgirl screamed as she was thrown through the air. "Amazons, your Princess commands you to stop!" she soon commanded.
Then suddenly, the Amazons stopped doing what they were doing in an instant.
"And your Queen commands you to continue!" Queen Hippolyta glared at the Amazons.
The Amazons looked at each other before they soon went back to brawling.
"I feel like this is gonna get real confusing real fast." Saiya Dog said to himself.
"Stop!"
"Continue!"
"Stop!"
"Continue!"
"STOP!"
"CONTINUE!"
"STOP!"
The Amazons soon ground to a halt.
"...Well? Which one is it?" asked one of them.
"You are only 317 years old, Diana," Hippolyta told her daughter. "A girl, who is too young and too naïve to make her own decisions!"
"No! It was I, Mother, I who survived the 21 tests of the tournament of Athena and Aphrodite," Diana replied. "While I may be young, I have proven I am my own woman and I decide who I want to be. It is Amazon law."
"It is law!" The Amazons declared.
"Pretty crazy law." Saiya Dog said to himself.
Queen Hippolyta looked at her daughter and the other Amazons before sighing, giving up, and storming off.
"I think that means Diana won." Thunder Boy said as he sat in his very own cloud car.
Diana turned around to face her friends before squealing in excitement. The others weakly squealed back to her in return. The boat soon continued sailing before Jessica brought out a green magic carpet ride for them as they left the Amazons and Diana could stay in Metropolis.
"Congrats, Diana. Disobeying your mom is normal teenager lesson #218," Batgirl smiled at their new friend as Thunder Boy brought the others back into town with his cloud car with light lightning flashing with light thunder rumbling from below it. "You're officially a teenager, and we're officially a team again!"
"Way Past Cool!" Bat-Mite declared.
"And there's only one place to celebrate!" Batgirl declared.
"Uh, guys?" asked Bumblebee, pointing to the mainland. Through the fog clouds, an army of demo-bots was seen approaching the pier's amusement park.
"Oh, no!" Batgirl exclaimed. "First they tore down Sweet Justice, now they're gonna demolish the pier!"
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Thunder Boy declared as the groups leapt into action.
"And we've got PLENTY!" Bat-Mite added.
"Hey, guys." Lady Gothika said.
The others flinched before looking over.
"LG..." Thunder Boy grinned nervously. "We thought you were asleep."
"I was," Lady Gothika replied as she crossed her arms with a smirk. "But I thought I'd come over to help out a little bit now that I'm awake."
"You're welcome," Bat-Mite replied.
"You must vacate this business or dwelling immediately," droned the demo-bot foreman. "You are interfering with lawful demolition protocols. You have 10 seconds to comply."
"Oh, yeah?!" remarked Supergirl. "Well, you got ten seconds to say your prayers!"
Before the fight could start, the group heard booming footsteps. As they looked on, out of the fog emerged a giant robot.
"Ah, what is that?" asked Bumblebee.
"Come to have some fun, girls?" A voice asked.
"Aha! I knew it!" Batgirl exclaimed, pointing at the Lexcorp emblem on the front of the suit. "I KNEW it was Lex!" she then started shaking Bumblebee by the shoulders. "I knew it-I knew it-I knew it-I KNEW ITTT!" But when she realized her friends were staring at her, she regained her composure and cleared her throat. "...I knew it was Lex."
"Ya don't say." Lady Gothika teased as Batgirl grinned sheepishly.
"Lex?! I am not Lex!" The voice replied sharply.
"Uh... Okay?" Saiyaman replied. "If you're not Lex, then who are you?"
A visor soon appeared in the robot's chest to show and reveal the actual and true criminal mastermind behind this whole LexCorp operation.
"I'm-Hold on," The voice said before revealing herself to be a plucky young girl who was the younger sister of the bald of evil weasel himself. "I'm Lena! Lena Luthor. And all this? This is my plan, not my dopey brother's! He can never come up with something this good." she then scoffed before her visor went back down.
"Now she reminds me even more of how Darla used to be," Lady Gothika remarked. "She is not what she seems."
"Ah, how times have changed since then." Saiyaman nodded.
The others seemed to just stand there, not very intimidated or threatened.
"Ugh... Oh, do I have to spell it out?!" Lena complained at their obliviousness.
"Yeah, you kinda do!" Supergirl replied, crossing her arms in annoyance.
"Yeah, if ya don't mind." Nature Girl added.
"Pfft, figures! You teenagers think you're so smart, with your staying up late, and your driving cars, and your commercials! But you're so dumb..." Lena scoffed as she explained her whole plan to them. "You can't even pick up on the most obvious of evil plots. Even when it's literally in front of your face! So first, I reprogrammed Lex's worthless VR glasses. Then, I hacked the Demolition Robots the city contacted my doofus brother to make. And finally, I used them to destroy every "fun" and/or "cool" place to "hang" in Metropolis, so you lame-o teenagers will have nowhere else to go for your mindless entertainment, trapped forever in my VR world, tailor-made, just for you. Every last lame-brained one of you. With all you teenagers out of the way, children will rule Metropolis!" she then explained and concluded, laughing both maniacally and mockingly at the group.
"Playing with balls and jacks... Pushing a hoop with a stick down a dirt road..." Bat-Mite blinked. "...What do you even THINK children of today are into?"
"That's the dumbest plan I've ever heard." Supergirl commented.
"You're the dumbest plan I've ever heard!" snapped Lena.
"Ooh... That was a brutal comeback," Lady Gothika shivered mockingly. "C'mon, guys... I don't think I'll ever be able to recover from that."
"And once this pier is destroyed, you're next!" Lena then challenged.
"Your plan will never work, Lena! We teenagers are stronger than you think!" Batgirl retorted.
"That's right!" Saiyaman added.
"Aww~" Thunder Boy and Bumblebee smiled, wearing the goggles as they soon saw endless videos of puppies sneezing.
"Bumblebee!/Thunder Boy!" Batgirl and Saiyaman scolded, removing the goggles.
"Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry." Bumblebee and Thunder Boy smiled nervously.
"Hey, do you think I can try to make Patch sneeze the next time we see him?" Thunder Boy asked Saiyaman.
Saiyaman gave him a bit of a stern look.
"Okay, maybe not." Thunder Boy chuckled nervously.
"Anyway, the point is, you can destroy our favorite places, but you'll never destroy our friendships!" Batgirl soon told Lena sharply.
"YEAH!" The others agreed.
"Pfft, whatevs," Lena scoffed before she activated her demo-bots. "Roll out, boys!"
The demo-bots soon came to life and got ready to attack.
"Come, brothers and sisters. It was on this sacred ground that we became friends," Wonder Woman told the group around her. "Now, this pier is where we shall become heroes!"
"YEAH!" The others agreed as they let out a battle cry together and they soon dashed off to work.
"Time to kick some 'bots!" Bat-Mite exclaimed as Thunder Boy rolled him like a bowling ball and ripped through the demo-bots.
"Aw, yeah!" The Alpha Brigade cheered as they took off to do their part.
Supergirl and Saiyaman flew down, charging right through some demo-bots, crashing into them instantly. Lady Gothika magicked up her own bow and arrows and soon shot them one-by-one, glaring at the demo-bots, not missing her target at all. Nature Girl soon stomped the ground and released her powerful vines to ensnare and trap the demo-bots instantly. Batgirl threw out her Baterangs at the tied-up demo-bots before they exploded and she took off to get some more. Saiya Dog growled as he was surrounded by demo-bots before he let out a Super Bark like Thunderbolt the Wonder Dog, sending them all flying.
"You get a thunderbolt! You get a thunderbolt! You get a thunderbolt! You ALL get thunderbolts!" Thunder Boy laughed as he sat on a cloud, shooting out thunderbolts at demo-bots, short-circuiting them instantly as he spoke in an Oprah Winfrey fashion.
Zatanna used her magic to take out some of the demo-bots and short-circuit a few of them.
"Zatanna, look!" Bumblebee pointed at some more demo-bots who were cutting down a large tower.
Luckily, it was caught by Green Lantern, but she was having some trouble holding it up. The demo-bots soon attacked the merry-go-round next. Saiya Dog dashed over and tried to help out Green Lantern with his own special strength.
"This isn't working!" Green Lantern grunted, even with Saiya Dog's help.
More demo-bots then destroyed the Skeeball games with their wrecking balls.
"No... Not the Skeeball games!" Lady Gothika cried out.
"There's too many of them! What do we do?" Batgirl panicked as this looked bad, even with all of them working together like a super mega team.
Lena laughed maniacally at the chaos she was creating and spreading. "I win, I win, I win, I win!~" she then gloated hyperactively.
"HUDDLE!" Nature Girl soon called out and they all put their heads together.
"We are totally losing, you guys!" Lady Gothika cried out to the others. "And every teenager in Metropolis is gonna pay the price!"
"It is impossible for 12 warriors to defeat an army," Wonder Woman said to the group before smiling hopefully as she suddenly had an idea. "Unless... We take out the general."
"Lena! If we can stop her, the rest should follow." Green Lantern smiled in realization.
"Great idea," Thunder Boy noted. "...But how?"
Batgirl pulled out her laptop and began typing. "Even giant mega war suits need power. If we can jolt the mainframe, we can short it out!" she explained, pulling up a diagram.
"I repeat, but how?" asked Zatanna, while Supergirl looked around the pier until she spotted an electric guitar and an amp.
"I got one just like this, and it shorts out my house all the time," replied Supergirl. "Just turn it up to ten and shred!"
"But how do we get it to the motherboard inside the war suit?" asked Batgirl.
"I'll do it!" Bumblebee raised her hand.
Wonder Woman leaned over to the shorter girl. "Bumblebee, are you sure?" she asked.
"It's too scary, and I don't wanna do it," Bumblebee replied. "...But I will!"
"Way to go, Bumblebee!" Thunder Boy smiled. "That makes me mighty proud of ya!"
"Oh... Thank you, Thunder Boy," Bumblebee beamed bashfully and thankfully.
"Great!" Batgirl approved as she took out the cable, handing it to Bumblebee. "Connect this cable to the CPU in Lena's suit, and I'll rig the amp to go past ten."
"No way!" Supergirl gushed in excitement. "Can you do that for mine?"
"Then I can plug the other end to the amp and-" Batgirl explained while nodding.
"Zzzzt!" Supergirl then imitated a zap sound before chuckling. "Bratty McBratterson's going down!"
"Green Lantern, get Batgirl as close to Lena as you can. Supergirl, Zatanna, you're with me. Alpha Brigade, do what you must do to help," Wonder Woman instructed. "Now, let us do this."
"Alpha Brigade and DC Superhero Girls? Battle stations!" Saiyaman proclaimed.
"KYAH!" The group exclaimed, plunging into battle.
"Egarim!" Zatanna exclaimed as she appeared in front of Lena's robot bodysuit.
Lena glared and soon tried to grab her, but she kept teleporting all around, creating mirages with her magical superpowers.
"Egarim. Egarim. Egarim." Zatanna continued, becoming quite a nuisance with Lena.
"Stay still!" Lena grunted in frustration as she kept trying to swat Zatanna.
"Egarim. Egarim." Zatanna continued.
"Why, you little-" Lena growled before her eyes widened and she was suddenly struck by two thunderbolts.
"Ooh, my~" Thunder Boy smirked as he stood on a cloud. "Two for flinchin', Widdle Wena~"
"Ow! You big dumb jerk!" Lena snapped, but before she could swat at Thunder Boy, her left arm was caught by Wonder Woman's lasso, and Supergirl tugged her right arm behind her back, thus giving Bumblebee a chance to fly into the exhaust port.
"Hurry, Bumblebee, and please, be careful." Saiya Dog whispered to himself.
Green Lantern soon made a car for Batgirl to ride in and controlled it with a controller she used herself. Batgirl then drove through the demo-bots while working on the wiring to help take Lena down. Bumblebee continued to fly in the port until she found what she needed and plugged it into the adapter instantly before communicating with Batgirl.
"I'm in," Bumblebee reported. "Is the amp ready?"
"Oh, yeah," Batgirl smirked as she drew the number 11 on the dial before Green Lantern rode her through the demo-bots swarm until Lady Gothika bashed them with a giant hammer she created like her own personal Whack-a-Mole game, being very careful not to hit Batgirl by accident. "Almost there..."
Lena continued to try to grab the others as they restrained and taunted her so that she couldn't get them. She started frantically pushing buttons. "Get... OFF!" she screamed, flinging them aside. "Say goodbye to your pier, suckers!" The evil blonde girl then laughed as she flew the robot into the air, with Batgirl clinging to a leg.
"Batgirl!" Saiya Dog called out as that worried him a little bit.
"Don't worry, I think she's got this." Thunder Boy comforted.
"It's now or never!" Zatanna alerted the others.
Batgirl yelped as she dangled before she caught a firm hold on the cable and smirked. "Hey, Supergirl?! Ready to rock?" she then called out eagerly as she took out the guitar before tossing it to the Girl of Steel.
Supergirl soon caught the guitar and grinned, getting ready to play. "All right little girl, time for a lullaby!" she then said before taking out her guitar pick and played her electric guitar, sending electricity all around Lena's battle suit.
Lena soon screamed as that shocked her while she was inside. Bumblebee panicked as the bolts shined through as she couldn't move the cable any further to the amp and soon used her armband before that electrocuted her, but it still did the trick.
"What? How? No! You cheated!" Lena complained as she was unable to fly in the air and was soon crashing back down onto the ground. "YOU CHEATED! You cheated, you cheated! Uh-oh." she then mumbled before she crashed instantly into the ground, cutting off the power for the demo-bots and the LexCorp goggles that all of the teenagers had been affected with.
Immediately, the teenagers all took off the goggles.
"...You wanna see a movie at my house?" asked one teen.
The others murmured in agreement before they threw the goggles away and left.
"Sorry, Lena Luthor, but it looks like you're cancelled." Thunder Boy smirked proudly.
The two groups soon met back together before looking at the downfall of Lena as it was a little bit sad because of someone missing.
"Wait a minute... Where's Bumblebee?" Saiya Dog asked.
"She got out... Right?" Batgirl added worriedly.
Bumblebee soon flew out behind them before poofing back into her normal size and looked badly damaged. Everyone turned around and gasped, seeing her just lying there.
Bumblebee groaned as she was a bit dizzy from the chaos before she sat up, showing that she was still alive and well. "Did we do it?" she then asked as she removed her helmet, now having a golden streak in her hair.
"Nice highlights, what's your secret?" Zatanna smiled.
"Courage." Wonder Woman replied.
"Yaaaah!~" Batgirl squealed happily as she hugged Bumblebee instantly.
"Heck yeah, we won!" Bat-Mite exclaimed. "Day, saved! Villain, defeated!"
"Great teamwork, guys!" Saiyaman smiled.
Everyone then shared high-fives all around, though Supergirl smirked as she grabbed Saiyaman into a headlock, giving him a noogie.
"Augh! Okay! Stop! Stop!" Saiyaman cried out, but laughed a little bit too.
Eventually, Lena busted out of her robot suit from her defeat, whining and complaining as the police showed up, as well as a certain family car. "Oh, no fair! No FAIR!" she then cried out with a firm pout on her face.
"There she is, Mom! See?" Lex said, coming out of the car with a blonde woman. "Told you she stole my stuff."
"Lutessa Lena Luthor, you get in this car right now!" Mrs. Luthor scolded and glared at the younger girl.
"You can't make me!" Lena glared as she sat down, crossing her arms, and puffing out her cheeks to hold her breath until her parents suddenly dragged her by her arms, throwing her into the car as she threw a temper tantrum. "NOOOO! No! No! No!"
"Oh, I'm sorry about your war suit, Lex." Mrs. Luthor cooed at her son.
"Don't worry, Mom," Lex smiled maturely. "I'm just happy the little tyke is alright."
Lena then blew a raspberry from inside the car. Lex glared as he did the same to her.
"Oh, you think next time you can get those cupcakes you promised?" Mrs. Luthor then asked.
"Hah! Already on it, Mom," Lex smiled before looking over toward where Sweet Justice used to be. "I'm not saying goodbye to the best snickerdoodles in Metropolis."
"You'll pay for this, super teen jerks! YOU'LL PAY!" Lena roared in the car as her and Lex's parents drove away from the pier.
Lex waved, before he turned and glanced at the Super Hero Girls, then walked away.
"Check this out, guys." Saiyaman told the Super Hero Girls.
The group smiled at each other before looking wide-eyed to see several people surrounding them, looking to be adoring fans. The crowd began to clamor in excitement.
"Brand new superhero team right here in Metropolis!" A man beamed in excitement.
"And they're girls!" A girl scout called out.
"Super Hero Girls!" The group of girl scouts then cheered together.
"Also, we're The Alpha Brigade," Lady Gothika spoke up. "Good and close friends from The Super Hero Girls."
"Super Hero Girls and Alpha Brigade! Super Hero Girls and Alpha Brigade! Super Hero Girls and Alpha Brigade!" The crowd then chanted
"Yeah, the fame feels good!" Bat-Mite exclaimed, waving to the crowd as they cheered and chanted.
EVENTUALLY...
Sweet Justice had been rebuilt, and things were on their way back to normal.
"This is the life," Zatanna sighed. "Good friends and good chocolate."
"Couldn't agree more, Zee." Lionel nodded.
"It's nice to have everything back to normal." Jessica smiled.
"Blah, normal's overrated." Babs smirked before she sipped her milkshake.
"Weird is 'wondaful, dahling~'." Thor spoke up.
"Mmm... Remember when we first came here, and Diana said she wanted to be at this place all the time?" Babs asked the others.
Kara just blinked in confusion while the others looked at Babs, feeling lost. "Yeah...?" she then said.
Babs then cleared her throat, coming between Kara and Jessica before she glanced around, then grabbed the straw bottle and lifted the top right off, making the other straws fly out onto the table. She then pushed down, like activating a button, then sent herself, the rest of the Super Hero Girls, and The Alpha Brigade down through the floor suddenly. The group yelped before piling on top of each other in a dark, new room.
"You better have a good explanation for this, Babs." Cherry said sternly.
"Oh, but I DO!" Babs replied as the lights turned on, revealing the room was decorated and made up like a clubhouse; each corner of the place was made up to adhere to each member of the team. "Ta-da! It's our own home base! I took a few late-night trips to the construction site while they were rebuilding."
"Oh... Not bad..." Cherry commented as she looked around. "You did all of this yourself?"
"Pretty much, yeah!" Babs beamed as she giggled in excitement. "You guys are welcome too of course!"
"Truly, this is a place of wonder." Diana approved.
"Not bad, Babs," Kara smiled with her mouth full as she punched Babs in the arm, though in a friendly and less harmful way. "Nice job."
"We can protect the whole city from here," Jessica added. "No bad guy stands a chance!"
"Not with the Super Hero Girls and Alpha Brigade on the case!" Babs then proclaimed.
"Aww!~" Karen and Thor cooed as they looked over to see a newspaper with all of them on it.
"Super-awesome super-heroness, here we come!" Babs then announced in excitement as it was a happy ending for her and her new team and new friends.
"Yeah, I think this one ended pretty nicely!" Lionel beamed.
"Does this mean that you have to go?" Babs asked before giving a puppy dog pout with big sad eyes.
"Oh... Well... You'll be okay without us," Cherry replied calmly. "In fact, it might even feel like you won't know that we were gone."
"But maybe we'll return someday," Lionel replied. "In the meantime, never surrender in the pursuit of justice!"
"Group hug for The Alpha Brigade!" Babs called out before she and the other Super Hero Girls suddenly hugged the other group.
"Uh, I dunno if that's such a good-" Cherry's eyes widened before she was forced to accept the hug. "Okay." she then said.
The two groups then shared a group hug before the group had to get going for their next adventure, wherever and whatever it might be.
And in a flash of light, the group was gone. The group then opened their eyes and they were suddenly back home in Greendale.
"Hey, we're back home in Greendale." Atticus smiled.
"Nice," Patch smiled back before stretching. "It's always great to come home after a big adventure away from home."
"I can vouch for that." Lionel nodded.
"So, what do you guys wanna do now?" Cherry asked.
"I miss The Super Hero Girls." Thor pouted.
"Aw, come on, buddy," Cherry said to him. "We won't be separated from them forever."
"Besides, maybe we'll see them again for another adventure very soon," Atticus replied. "Hopefully soon anyway."
"Yep." Lionel nodded.
"I can't believe it'll be another month until the next issue!" Thor groaned. "I can't wait much longer!"
"Uh... Thor? What're you doing?" Cherry asked as the warlock teen took out his training wand from school.
"We gotta get out of here!" Thor told them, about to send them into another Super Hero Girl adventure suddenly. "I gotta see 'em again! I love being a superhero!"
"Whoa, man, just take it easy," Patch replied. "We just got home. Maybe we should be patient and the time will be over before ya know it." he then suggested.
"Yeah," Lionel nodded. "No need to rush it."
"Well... Okay..." Thor said as he sat down. "I'll try to be patient."
The others nodded and soon went to do some other things until the next time.
A lot of time had passed as everyone did their own thing as well as other adventures to fill the time before they met up again. Thor checked the mail before beaming as he saw another, very interesting-looking issue of the Super Hero Girls and hoped that his friends would like it before he went to go and find them.
"So... I might do the author thing," Cherry shrugged. "Like AK Yearling and Daring Do."
"Really? That's great!" Lionel replied. "I could see you doing that!"
"I've thought about publishing my adventures, but I dunno," Cherry shrugged. "Seems a bit odd."
"Well, you never know," Atticus replied. "You could try it out if you wanted to."
"Yeah." Mo nodded.
"I'm not that original unless I'm in the right mood." Cherry said sheepishly.
"Then that makes your story stuff more special!" Thor stated.
"Oh... Thanks, Thor," Cherry replied. "Good to see you."
Thor grinned as he soon jumped over to sit down with his friends.
"So... New topic so I don't feed and stroke my own ego..." Cherry said before taking out her phone to show her Netflix app with a white-haired woman on a title cover who appeared to be a princess with a green elf-like creature with a black tiny demon who almost looked like Salem in a way. "Am I the only one who likes Matt Groening's new show Disenchantment? It started out kinda slow and tedious, but it grew on me, ya know?"
Artticus and Mo glanced at each other before shrugging as they didn't seem to know that series.
"I watch it sometimes," replied Lionel. "A little close to Futurama, but a lot less tedious than Simpsons. Who knew Matt Groening was so good with medieval fantasy?"
"Yeah, the first season started out pretty slow and dull, but it really picked up after the finale and the other seasons after," Cherry nodded. "Also, yeah, pretty good job of Matt Groening. I guess he just needed a change of pace."
"Yeah; doing 20-something years of a bunch of yellow jerks gets boring," Lionel replied. "At least this series has a storyline, and since it's on Netflix, he has more creative freedom."
Thor looked like he was about to burst.
"Okay, Thor, you have something to share?" Cherry asked him.
"Yes," Thor nodded before taking out another Super Hero Girls comic book. "It's been a while since we last saw these guys... You wanna go back?"
"Seems like we just saw them." Patch said out of confiusion.
"Please, just one more visit and then that will be it for a while and I'll never ask you guys for anything ever again." Thor smiled hopefully and almost childishly.
"Aw, okay." Lionel replied.
"Yay!" Thor beamed.
"After a quick milkshake run," Cherry said before chuckling. "I sure wish we had our own Sweet Justice in Greendale or like Pop's Diner down where Sabrina's old friends in Riverdale live in."
"Me too..." Lionel nodded. "Maybe they'll open one in our town sometime."
The others also hopefully agreed as they ordered some milkshakes.
"After the milkshakes, we'll go." Cherry promised Thor.
"Yes!" Thor cheered before hugging all of his friends.
"Man, he's really excited." Atticus smiled and chuckled.
"I guess he really enjoyed the adventure." Lionel noted.
"Boy, I'll say." Atticus agreed.
"Yeah." Patch nodded.
"So, what's gonna happen in this one?" Cherry asked Thor.
"Renaissance Fair," Thor smiled, showing his comic book to them. "I know we've had plenty of adventures in The Middle Ages... Sword in the Stone, Black Cauldron, Quest for Camelot, Shrek... But come on."
"Well, okay, I guess," Cherry replied with her hands on her hips. "We'll go meet them in this little Middle Ages fair," she then smirked a bit. "Maybe we'll meet alternate counterparts of the witches and warlocks we know in The Netherworld."
"Okay, sure," Lionel replied. "But Thor, keep the future stuff out of the present-day, alright? We don't wanna confuse everyone further!"
"Oops! ...Sorry~" Thor said bashfully as it looked like another new DC Superhero Girls adventure seemed to be coming very soon.
