"I can't believe I let this happen!"
There was no sense of self loathing, but rather a sense of raw and clear determination. A sense of determination he was all too familiar with. He's felt this way before, in even more dire circumstances.
"I might not get back home, but the friends I've made here need help. I don't care if they never want to see me again, I have to try!"
That's the kind of being he was. He wouldn't hesitate to help a friend in an hour of need.
"I said I would keep this world safe, and I promised I'd protect the girls, and that's what I'm gonna do!"
Sora continued onward, his destination in clear view.
"I have to find Twilight. She can get our friends back."
Sora finally arrived at the front entrance to the Golden Oaks Library. For some reason, it seemed farther away than usual. He hadn't traveled far from the tree when he fought Discord, but Sora had to travel far just to reach it. This must be more of Discord's tricks. Regardless, Sora had a mission to accomplish. He burst in through the front door with his shoulder.
"Twilight!" Sora called out, "You here?!"
No answer. The entire library seemed empty, Twilight nowhere to be seen. Maybe she was on the second floor. Sora flew up the stairs to the bedroom he knew was there. Seeing the door opened, he let himself in. When he entered, Sora found himself looking at a very familiar pony from the back.
"Twilight!" Sora cried out in joy, "There you are! I was hoping you'd—" Twilight turned to him, her eyes uncharacteristically filled with rage and disdain. Sora stopped himself when he saw her. Twilight's unusually disdainful expression wasn't the only thing odd. Her color was completely gone, leaving her as nothing more than a gray pony.
"Oh, hello, Sora," Twilight greeted venomously, turning her back to him once again.
"Twilight?"
"I hope I'm getting in your way or anything," Twilight spat with obvious sarcasm, "What are you doing here?"
Sora snapped himself out of his shock to address her, "I'm here because I need your help."
"Oh, you want my help?" Twilight repeated sarcastically, "I thought I should stay out of your way."
Sora winced when he heard that, "I know I said that, but right now, I really do need your help."
"Too little, too late I'm afraid," Twilight spat, levitating a suitcase onto her bed and opening it, "Just go away, I'm leaving."
"You're leaving?" Sora repeated, "Where are you gonna go?"
"I don't know. Anywhere but here," Twilight retorted, haphazardly placing numerous miscellaneous objects into the suitcase.
"Twilight," Sora tired to reason, "You can't just abandon Ponyville. All of your friends are here."
"Friends?" Twilight scoffed, "You mean the 'friends' that made my life difficult? The friends that abandoned me?! They didn't care when I tried to rally everypony against Discord. Why should I care about them? Why should I care at all?"
Sora struggled to think up a response. All he could muster up was, "But, I'm still your friend," Twilight shot him a threatening sideways glance.
"You're not my friend. Go away!" Twilight went back to packing up whatever she could into her suitcase.
Sora shook his head. He tried to find the words, the magic words that would convince Twilight how sorry he was, but they weren't coming. He had no clue what to say to her. Something was holding him back, and he knew what that feeling was: guilt. Guilt for blowing Twilight off the way he did, guilt for abandoning his friends, guilt for letting hate take over.
"Twilight, please listen to me," He pathetically said, reaching out his hoof towards her. Twilight snapped herself towards Sora, startling him when he saw her face, a face contorted into pure unbridled malice, a pent up rage finally unleashing itself.
"LEAVE!"
Twilight fired a beam of magical energy from her horn strait at Sora, hitting her mark on his chest. Sora flew out the door of Twilight's room, his momentum carrying him to the stairs. Grunts escaped Sora's muzzle as he tumbled down the hard steps, ending when he unceremoniously landed on his back at the first floor. He was able to stand back up with little problem. He wasn't hurt badly, aside from a slight sting from where Twilight's shot hit him. However, Sora was far from okay.
"How am I supposed to get through to her?" Sora despaired, "Twilight's closed her heart off to me. She's not going to listen to anything I say," The caramel pegasus put a hoof over where his heart was, "I can feel our connection fading away. If I can't get Twilight on my side, then Discord wins. There has to be a way."
There was a way. He could have probably solved this catastrophe if only he had his power, that special power that could awaken a sleeping heart. He didn't have it anymore, he had to give it up. If only he was stronger back then, he could have saved her, he could save everyone.
Sora's thoughts were interrupted when a strange noise made itself known. Sora perked up his ears, discerning that the sound was coming from the next room over. It sounded like someone was groaning in extreme discomfort. It sounded like...
"Spike? Is that you?" Sora called, trotting into the kitchen area. He saw the drake in question lying stomach first on the floor, his face contorted in pain. In front of him was a pile of scrolls tied together with red ribbons bearing a very familiar seal. Sora was more than surprised to see Spike in this state.
Common courtesy enthralled Sora to question: "Spike, what's going on? What's happening to you?"
"Can't... move," The purple drake moaned, pausing with each few words he spoke, "The Princess... has been sending these... since you all left," Spike puffed up his cheeks and belched a burst of green fire, materializing another scroll that added itself to the pile. His stomach in turn protested, "Make it stop!"
Sora took a closer look at the scrolls, particularly the golden seal. He had seen this before. Suddenly, Sora recognized it, it was Princess Celestia's seal! Sora immediately took one of the scrolls and unfurled it. Maybe Celestia might have some incite on what to do. As Sora read through the scroll's contents, he immediately realized something odd. The letter was addressed to—Princess Celestia? Sora skimmed through the letter further.
"Everypony has a special magical connection with her friends. Maybe even before she's met them."
When he got to the bottom, he was surprised to see who it was written by.
"Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle."
Sora then remembered something. Twilight had been sending letters to Princess Celestia since the former arrived in Ponyville all those months ago. It made no sense, why was she sending these letters? In a sudden instance, something clicked in Sora's mind. These weren't just letters, they were memories, memories that represented what was really important.
"Ohhhh! That's brilliant!" Sora exclaimed in excitement. It did make sense. Sora knew who these were for. Twilight simply had to see these.
He rushed back up the stairs in a loud gallop, which Twilight took immediate notice of. She turned her head to the door just as Sora rushed in. She wasn't exactly happy.
"Look, I already told you—"
"Sorry about this," Sora cut her off, taking hold of her fore-hooves and pulled her out of the room. Twilight yelped in protest as Sora flew her to the first floor where Spike was. When he placed her back down, the gray unicorn threw herself towards him, her face the pure personification of rage.
"Sora!" Twilight snarled.
"Before you say anything, take a look at this," Sora tilted Twilight's head towards the pile of scrolls that was still piling up. Twilight briefly let go of her seething anger so that she could examine the curiosity that was the scroll pile.
"What's this?" She levitated one of the scrolls to her and unfurled it. It was what she wrote to Celestia after the incident with the dragon. Fluttershy sure was brave that day, standing up to the dragon the way she did.
There was another letter, this one detailing her observations of Rarity's experience with the diamond dogs. How strange it was that the pampered mare was able to take care of it on her own. Strength really does take many forms.
Another letter, another lesson. Applejack thought she could take care of Applebuck Season on her own. She ran herself ragged in her stubbornness until she conceded that she needed help. There really is no shame in asking others for help.
Rainbow Dash once had trouble performing a Sonic Rainboom, placing a burden on her usual confidence. In the end, it was the drive to keep her friends safe that led her to accomplishing her goal.
One time, Pinkie forgot her own birthday. Everypony else didn't forget and wanted to throw Pinkie a surprise party. She did not take the secrecy well and assumed her friends didn't want to be friends with her anymore. These fears were unfounded, she should never have expected the worst from her friends.
Then there was Sora. That argument he had with Twilight way back when showed that he carried a large burden. Even then, he still found ways to stay positive and help those in need, much like he was doing now.
Sora couldn't read minds, but he knew exactly what Twilight was going through right now. Her memories were restoring her heart. It showed with how her usual purple color was slowly starting to return to her. Her reciting her progress on friendship was reminding her what it was really about.
When Twilight read over a dozen of the letters, her eyes started to sparkle. A bright light began to envelop her, a light bright enough where Sora had to shield his eyes. The light eventually dimmed away, and when it did, Twilight arrived at an epiphany.
"Yes, YES! It all makes sense now!" She yelled with a wide smile on her face.
"Twilight?" Sora recuperated, now seeing Twilight in a far more familiar light. That spark in her eye had returned, that spark that drove her forward.
"Twilight! You're back!" Sora threw his hooves around the purple unicorn into a big hug. Just as Twilight was able to process what hapening, Sora pulled away. Now she could see his pained face. Sora's eyes were closed, his muzzle distorted into a sad scowl.
"I'm really, really sorry!" He bowed his head low. This sudden and over the top apology took Twilight by surprise, "I'm really sorry for how I acted!"
How could he ever possibly make up for what happened?
"Sora, hold your head up," Twilight snickered. Sora did exactly that, his sad expression drifting away when he saw the purple unicorn's smile. "I've already forgiven you," Twilight replied with no hesitation.
"Huh, you have?" He transitioned into a stunned stupor, but recovered fairly quickly, "Just like that?"
Twilight gave Sora a curt grin, "Well, my heart is telling me that you aren't at fault for what's been happening. And, I figure I should do what you would do in this situation and follow my heart."
"Your heart?" That settled it. Sora smiled in appreciation. It was nice to remove that lingering doubt, "Thanks, Twilight—really."
Twilight nodded in approval before she shifted gears, "I finally figured it out. Discord knows how powerful our friendships are, so he's been trying to drive us apart. I was so preoccupied trying to find the Elements of Harmony that I couldn't see what was happening to everypony. Discord must have done something to Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and you too."
Sora digested what Twilight said, "Now that I think about it, that makes sense. Back in the maze, I ran into Discord. He did something that made me really mad. Suddenly, all I could think about was making him pay. I almost fell into darkness. I only narrowly escaped because of the memories of my friends."
"Strange, I was thinking about all of the great memories I've made here in Ponyville before I snapped out of it," Twilight muttered.
"That does make sense," Sora crossed his forehooves as he thought out loud, "Memories are closely tied to the heart and all," He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, and Twilight immediately picked up on that fact.
"Memories are tied to the heart?"
Twilight pondered that idea. Did it have any meaning? She knew she wouldn't give up her memories for anything. They reminded her what was truly important. What was truly important?
Twilight gasped in realization.
"I know what I have to do!" Twilight declared, her eyes brimming with determination, "Sora, will you help me?"
"Huh? Really?" Sora blinked in response. He wasn't expecting Twilight to respond with such fiery spirit. How exactly could he help? It's not like he could release the hearts of those Discord corrupted.
"Yes," Twilight continued, "If I'm to save Equestria, I want my good friend there by my side!"
Sora, for his part, smiled in fierce determination.
"Right!"
"Alright, let's do it. For harmony! For friendship! For Equestria!"
This inspiring and meaningful moment was interrupted when Spike moaned in discomfort again. Both ponies turned their attention to the writhing drake on the floor.
"Oh, right..." Twilight spoke awkwardly. A fresh quill and scroll levitated to her via her magic. A few unforeseen words written down were enough to pique Sora's interest.
"What's that?" He asked.
"Just something to help Spike feel better," Twilight answered, levitating her finished note over to the baby dragon in question, "Here, Spike, the Princess should stop sending you letters after she reads this," That was all he needed to hear. He breathed his magical breath and the scroll was gone in an instant. Twilight even went as far as to tuck Spike in his bed so that he could get some proper sleep.
"Get some rest, Spike. Sora and I can take care of the whole 'Saving Equestria' thing," Twilight left Spike to recover while she meet Sora with a determined gaze, "Let's go!"
With that, the two ponies set off, ready to take on the challenge of saving Equestria. Spike, meanwhile, was getting some much needed rest to help soothe his upset stomach.
The first stop on their list was the Apple Farm. There weren't many apples around. There was, however, corn popping out of the ground at random and flying pigs. Sora sighed in dejection when he saw the sad and nonsensical state of the Apple farm.
"I had no idea it was this bad," And then he and Twilight received a shock when Big Mac emerged from underneath the ground, panting like a dog. He then affectionately licked Twilight's cheek just as a puppy would.
"You okay..?" Sora inquired.
The purple unicorn wiped the saliva off her face, "Yeah, let's find Applejack."
Applejack was there, grey and full of dishonesty. She was lounging just outside of her polka dot barn biting out an apple.
"And so I tried to defeat Discord," She lied through her teeth to her tap dancing grandmother, who was likely not listening, "But none of my so-called 'friends' would lift a hoof to help me."
"Applejack!" The farm mare heard, causing her to drop her apple out of surprise. She saw Twilight and Sora standing in front of her, "We're here to fight for our friendship," The purple unicorn declared dramatically.
"Oh, nowyou want to fight," Applejack dismissed, "Where were y'all when ah was battlin' Discord?"
"Applejack," Sora stepped in, "Stop it! This isn't you! You're nota liar."
Twilight put a hoof on his shoulder in council as he turned to her.
"Sora, you know she doesn't mean that. Let me take care of this," Sora decided to allow Twilight to do what she needed to do, whatever it was. Twilight acted immediately, leaping forward and tackling Applejack; the end result being the former pinning the latter to the wall of the barn. Sora, for his part, widened his eyes. This is what she had to do?
"Applejack, I will make you see the light!"
Twilight put her horn to Applejacks head while emiting a bright light. As the horn touched the farm mare's noggin, her eyes grew wide. Suddenly she was thinking about spending time with Applebloom, helping out with Big Macintosh on the farm, eating Granny Smith's cooking, meeting Sora. All of these experiences and feelings came rushing ahead in a calvalcade of emotion, and it was only for a few seconds.
The exertion Twilight felt was extreme, but she would live with the burden. This was for her friend. The light from her horn expanded, covering everypony in it's blinding influence. Sora had to shield his eyes it was so bright.
"Wh-what happened?" Applejack, her color returned to her, shook off the grogginess as Twilight pulled back to recover from her spell. The farm mare then took notice of the two ponies in her vicinity, Twilight! Sora!"
"Applejack?" Sora approached, "Are you feeling okay?"
"Back in the maze, ah saw a vision of us feudin' and fightin'," She explained, "Ah couldn't face the truth, so ah just started lyin' to myself. Aww, can ya ever forgive me?"
"Already have," Twilight responded with a warm smile.
"Twilight," Sora interjected, "What was that?"
"Oh, it's just a simple Memory spell," she responded pridefully.
"Memory spell?"
"It's a spell where a pony briefly re-experiences her most cherished memories," Twilight explained, "I thought about what you told me, about memories being tied to a pony's heart. I figured the best way to restore the others was to hit them with that spell."
Applejack wasn't sure what Twilight was saying, spouting about magic and whatnot, but it sure did the trick.
"So, what's next?" Sora asked.
Twilight smiled in fierce determination.
"We release the others!"
The trio of ponies continued onward, finding their friends and casting the memory spell to bring them back to normal. Fluttershy was found first. When Twilight restored the yellow mare's memories, she grew frightened, thinking that it was all a bad dream. When she was informed it was all real, Fluttershy immediately begged Twilight for forgiveness over how the former acted. Twilight assured Fluttershy that she was forgiven and all would be well.
Rarity was next, and she had a different reaction than Fluttershy. When Rarity was herself again, she blinked a few times, looked at Tom, levitated the boulder out of her shop, looked back to her friends and said, "Let us never speak of this again."
Pinkie Pie was up next. The pink mare took her experience being discorded in more stride than Fluttershy and Rarity. When she returned to normal, she spent the next ten minutes giggling that she had turned gray, just as Pinkie Pie would.
The only one left to find was Rainbow Dash. It was agreed that the best way to find her was to split up in groups of two to cover more ground across Ponyville. After four hours of searching, everyone reconvened outside of what was probably Town Hall. The flying fish and sky flowers made it hard to tell.
"Has anypony found her yet?" Twilight questioned the group. The response she got was a wave of shaking heads, leading to a light sigh from the purple mare, "I figured as much."
"The last time we saw her was in the maze," Sora recapped, "She could be anywhere for all we know. It's going to be difficult finding her."
"No it won't because she's right there," Pinkie plainly stated, pointing her hoof upwards towards a small, insignificant cloud that could only fit one pegasus. It just so happened that there was a pegasus lounging on said cloud, a very familiar yet grayed out pegasus: Rainbow Dash.
Everyone immediately jerked their heads towards Pinkie Pie in amazement; her powers of perception were awe inspiring. Now was not the time to worry about that. The group had to get Rainbow Dash on their side.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash!" Sora called out.
"Hey, guys," Rainbow casually replied without looking.
"We need your help to defeat Discord!" Twilight called out, "We need the power of your element, Loyalty!" Now Rainbow Dash decided to turn towards the group, her face showing disapproval and apathy.
"Loyalty, Shoyalty! Have you seen Ponyville? It's a disaster!" Rainbow exclaimed with a roll of her eyes before reverting back to her lounging position, "I'm staying up here in Cloudsdale where everything's awesome."
"How in Equestria could she possibly think that little cloud is Cloudsdale?" Rarity questioned. Applejack couldn't help but give a snide smile
"The same way Discord made ya think a hunk a stone was a bonafide diamond."
Rarity widened her eyes for a brief second before she casted a fierce sideways glare at the farm mare's direction.
"I thought we agreed to never speak of that again."
"Anyway," Twilight said, "We need to get Rainbow on our side. I need to get close so I can cast the memory spell.
"I'll get her," Sora volunteered, flying up to the cloud Rainbow sat on. As soon as he got close, the cyan mare shot her eyes open. In a fluent movement, she spun and kicked Sora in his stomach, forcing him to wince and fall back to the ground. Before any pony else could comprehend what happened, Rainbow took her cloud and flew off to another location far off.
"Are you okay?" Fluttershy asked Sora in clear concern as he picked himself up.
"Yeah I'm fine."
"A full frontal attack wont work," Twilight surmised, "Rainbow's far too quick for us."
"What do we do then?" Sora asked through the pain.
Twilight ponndered for a good minute. How do you catch a pony who flies at mach 1 on a regular basis? The purple unicorn thought about Rainbow's strengths and weaknesses. She was athletic, sure, but her brain power lagged behind. She was impulsive, never really thinking things through. She probably wouldn't even notice an obvious trap.
Twilight figured it out.
"I have an idea. We just have to find her again."
Rainbow Dash continued to relax in "Cloudsdale" blissfully content to leave behind the chaos and dirt of Ponyville. Why worry about others when you can look out for number one. Her serenity was interrupted when a familiar pegasus approached her.
"Hey, Rainbow," Sora greeted, learning from his past encounter and staying ten feet apart from the cyan mare.
She wasn't having any of it. Rainbow Dash immediately spun around and flew off at high speed. Sora chased after her. She was faster, so it took a great level of exertion just to keep up. He bobed over to the left. Rainbow saw this and turned right. Sora smiled, everything was going to plan. There was a gap between two trees, one purple and one blocky and pixleated. Pinkie and Fluttershy were behind those trees with a rope between them. As Rainbow got closer, the two ponies pulled the rope against themselves to form a taut line. Rainbow Dash was too late to react and ended up catching her hoof on the rope. She tumbled over, rolling on the grond until she came to a slow stop. In that time, Sora caught up with her and tackled her into a headlock.
As the two pegasi struggled, Rarirty and Applejack entered the fray, helping Sora to subdue Rainbow. Through a complicated array of kicking and struggling, Sora, Rarity and Applejack held down Rainbow's legs.
"Twilight! Do the thing!" Sora shouted. Twilight understood Sora's meaning and rushed over, casting the spell on Rainbow Dash. The effect was immediate, leading to a blinding light enveloping Rainbow.
Rainbow Dash suddenly remembered something important. Way back when at flying school, she saw some bullies picking on Fluttershy. At that moment, Rainbow felt it her duty to stand up for the timid filly, because that's what friends do.
After the light faded away, Rainbow's colors had returned to her. That was a good sign. The ponies all backed away, confident that she wouldn't try to escape.
Rainbow Dash groaned in discomfort as she rubbed her aching head, "Wh-what happened," Her eyes then immediately shot up, as if she realized that she had a test in the morning and didn't study, "How's Ponyville? Where are the Elements?! Did we stop Discord?"
She fired her rapid questions as she darted back and forth to her friends, ending with her pinning Sora down in a panic.
"Rainbow, you're back!" Sora shouted in excitement, pulling the cyan mare into a hug. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie all joined in on the group hug. Rainbow had no idea why they were all acting this way, but it was nice to see everypony okay.
"It's a little early to be having a group hug," Twilight reluctantly killed the happy mood. All of her friends looked at her with fierce and determined gazes. There was one last thing to take care of.
"¡Discord, U God Magnífico!" Discord revered himself, sitting atop a pink and orange throne, it's architecture far too bizarre for words to describe. He was in a good mood, and why shouldn't he be? He could cause as much mischief as he wanted, and no-one could possibly stop him.
"Chaos is wonderful; wonderful thing," He commented, enjoying the glass from his orange juice.
"Not as wonderful as friendship!" Declared a familiar voice. Discord spat out his glass in shock. That voice came from Twilight. She, the other Element bearers, and Sora stood across from him in sheer defiance. The mares all wore their Elements (Thank Celestia Rarity hoarded all of the necklaces) while Sora had his Keyblade at the ready.
"Oh, this again?" The Chaos god sneered, tossing his juice over his shoulder, where it exploded in a dazzling display of confetti.
"That's right!" Sora declared, "You couldn't break apart our friendship for long."
"O, don"t Lie to me, Key boy, your the 1 who keeps screwing up," Discord shook his head like a disappointed parent, "When wiII you learn¿"
"I'll tell you what we've learned, Discord," Twilight stepped forward, "We've learned that friendship isn't always easy, but there's no doubt it's worth fighting for!"
"Ugh, gag," Discord recoiled in disgust, dismissively waving his paw at the group, "Fine, go ahead: try and use your little 'Elements' 0n me. make it quick; though. I'm missing $ome excellent chaos here."
Twilight honed her eyes on Discord, sitting arrogantly on his throne. He was going to see first hoof how powerful friendship was.
"Alright, everypony, let's—"
"Hold it!" Screamed Pinkie Pie, complete with a deafening sound effect. Everypony turned to look at her—only to find her holding her mouth open under a chocolate milk rain cloud.
"PINKIE!" Everpony scolded her for such inappropriate timing. Pinkie didn't seem to pay much mind, only getting back in formation after she had her fill. Twilight decided not to press the issue, not with something this important to do.
"Alright, Everypony, Let's do it!"
Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie all focused their light. A great light emenated from the group, enveloping them in a magical aura that levitated them all off the ground. The Elements themselves began to shoot energy blasts in the shape of the gems they represented. Discord took immediate notice of this, his eyes thoroughly scanning the scene before him. Finally, a great Rainbow bean shot out, spiraling around until it homed in on Discord at great speeds.
For the briefest of moments, Discord showed genuine fear as the beam fell down and struck him. He released a cry that reached the heavens as flesh became stone once again. Struggle as he might, he could not stop it. He turned to stone once agian, his face stuck on absolute terror as his arms held forward in a futile attempt to prevent his fate.
The light died away, all seven ponies could see the aftermath. It was done. Discord had turned back to stone.
"We did it! We won!" Pinkie cried in joy, jumping up and down to express her excitement. The others, likewise showed the same sentiment. However, somepony wasn't celebrating, and Sora took immediate notice.
"Twilight, what's wrong?"
"Something's not right," She responded, "Look around, shouldn't everything have gone back to normal?"
It was true. Ponyville hadn't changed back. Dogs were still running on walls, Sugarcube Corner was still upside down, and the sky was still purple.
"Yeah, you're right," Sora muttered in agreement to Twilight.
"Be on guard. I feel like this is another one of Discord's tricks."
"My: my, you rEALLy are the Smart one," The six mares and one stallion all blanched in shock as the heard the familiar, condescending voice behind them. They all turned around to see none other than Discord, crossing his arms confidently with a smug look on his face.
"You're still here?!" Rainbow shouted.
"But that's impossible," Pinkie chimed in, "The script says you're supposed to turn back into stone."
Discord, in response, clutched his sides as he cackled, channeling his inner hyena, "come on... you really didn,t think it would bee that easy, did you? i do so l0ve making duplicates of myself. Wouldn't you agree, me¿" Another Discord appeared next to the real Discord.
"Oh yes; planting decoys is such an easy trick."
"rIGHT YOU ARE, ME." Discord (?) snapped his paw again and both the fake and stone Discord disappeared, "Eye mean rEalLy, What kIñd of IDIOT do U tame me four?"
"This is really bad," Sora said.
"This wasn't how it was supposed to go," Twilight muttered, now filled with worry. Their ace in the hole proved to be ineffective.
"O, don"t U know what this is?" Discord chuckled darkly, "This is fan fiction, and that means we're not restricted by a 22 minute run time," All attention was on the chaos god once again as storm clouds beckoned behind him.
"Just what are you talking about?" Rarity questioned angrily, having had enough of Discord's antics.
"It means we get t0 have more fun t0gether," Discord rubbed his hands evilly, "I still have ThE upper hand. The laws 0f reaLity, Time & space all bend t0 my wïll; Like this.."
With a snap of his paw, the ponies were engulfed by a pool of darkness underneath their hooves. No matter how much they struggled, they were sucked into the swirling vortex.
While Sora struggled to get out, he briefly saw Discord rubbing his hands together, an evil smile plastered on his face.
Uh... How long has it been since the last update? Almost a year? Well, that's embarrassing. Honestly, though, it is my fault letting so many things distract me, video games mostly. I'm really sorry about this. I hope this was worth the wait. Hopefully, the next chapter won't take me an obscene amount of time to write.
