AN: Hey! It's another extra chapter! I have some more ideas for maybe 1 or 2 more of these so review to let me know if you have any ideas or to simply let me know you enjoyed. With that out of the way, Enjoy!

Extra 2: Kirishima

"I'd probably deserve it"

"None of your business"

"Sorry Eijiro, this is something I have to do alone"

"Where the hell did that get you, dumbass," Eijiro said under his breath.

It's been two days since Katsuki had been admitted to the hospital. No signs of him waking up. Eijiro idly thought that maybe it'd be better if he sleeps for a while, the video released by that fiend Deku had put Katsuki in a tough spot, maybe if he slept through the brunt of it they'd forget by the time he woke up. No. The media isn't that forgiving.

"Just wake up already, weren't you gonna 'blow up' Deku's plans? This ain't manly Katsuki. Wake up already... I need you to wake up Katsuki!"

As usual, Katsuki Bakugo stayed silent, not a single indication of him even having heard Eijiro's words.

This was how Kirishima was for two days straight. Occasionally Kaminari or Sero would come and get him to eat. Kirishima tried to resist at first, but he was in such a weak state that it didn't matter. He ate, drank, spoke to Bakugo, and when his body forced him to, he would sleep. Their house having been ignored for two days.

On the third day however, Bakugo woke up. Which brought up it's own brand of problems. They could never get him to stay in the hospital for long, his loud and prideful personality simply did not accommodate for any such "weakness" like injury and healing. That would normally be the case. This time, he stayed put. The moment he realized he was alive, he was with Kirishima, he was filled with relief. He had been about to storm out like he usually would, but then he remembered why he was there in the first place.

Deku.

When Kirishima was asked about the villain, he could only look away. Bakugo in the moment only thought that Deku escaped, so he pressed further. "Where is he? How are they tracking him? When do I leave? I need to go after him." When Kirishima recognized the desperation in his voice, he caved. He showed Katsuki the video. Katsuki Bakugo broke.

Kirishima tried his best to get him to go out, go back to his usual self and storm out of the hospital despite his injuries. Nothing worked. Katsuki Bakugo stayed in the hospital even longer than he needed. He didn't want to face the world. He didn't want to face Kirishima.

As time passed, Bakugo was discharged. Bakugo retired. Bakugo went home. Stayed home.

Kirishima couldn't stay home forever either. Japan couldn't lose two heroes over this, Red Riot had a duty. However, Kirishima was simply not in it. The first few days were easier. As easy as leaving your mentally broken boyfriend at home can be. Then the muttering started.

It was inconspicuous at first. Kirishima hardly noticed it. But then he'd say his name.

"I'm sorry Deku... SorrySorrySorrySorry..."

Kirishima didn't know what to do at first. But then it got worse, mutterings became delusions and it became quite clear that Bakugo was seeing Deku around him. He would sometimes ask Deku to pass him the salt when they were eating. He would tell Deku to stop annoying him and get his own water. On occasion, he would completely break and start crying and apologize to his delusions. It was at that point that Eijiro decided to get Katsuki into therapy.

The fact that the Katsuki Bakugo who had consistently being hailed as one of the country's strongest men was often breaking down in front of him hit Eijiro quite hard. He had seen Bakugo's vulnerable side, his soft side... But this... Seeing Bakugo like this, it truly hurt him.

When Kirishima finally managed to convince Bakugo to sign up for therapy the result wasn't instantaneous, but they persevered. The first sign of improvement took weeks, but it happened. Bakugo had smiled. And then Eijiro's dam broke. It had been so long since he'd last seen Bakugo's cocky smile, he was happy, therapy was working, Bakugo was improving.

Slowly but surely Bakugo improved in other areas as well, his breakdowns became less frequent (the doctors said it was likely that they'd never really go away completely), he went out of the house sometimes, he'd regained some of his old confidence, and most importantly, he'd grown to trust Kirishima more than he used to.

It was nearly a year and a half into therapy that Bakugo told Eijiro of his decision. His decision to save lives once again. He had the same look in his eyes as the day he'd set out to fight Deku. But this time he wasn't going to be alone. This time, Eijiro wouldn't let him be alone.

And so, there was a press conference.

" , what makes you think the people still believe in you?" asked one reporter.

"Whether the people believe in me or not is none of my concern. I will do what I want and make sure I save as many as I can," says Bakugo, calmly handling the reporters.

"Your hero license was revoked last year. How did you get it back?"

"I still haven't actually, in a few days I'll have my health check. If I pass that then I'll re-take the license test. This press conference wasn't necessarily to announce my return, as much as it was to announce my desire to return."

"The villain Deku, you confirmed the truth in all of his statements. Why would anyone want to be saved by a man who once told someone to die?" This got a reaction from Bakugo. Kirishima looked worriedly from beside him and was about to speak up when Bakugo stopped him.

Bakugo looked straight ahead. He could see a small green-haired boy in a black uniform looking at him as if waiting for his answer. Bakugo let a tear flow down his face.

"The defense that I was an arrogant child who didn't know right from wrong back then is getting old, while true, it's not that reassuring. I've grown a lot since then, met Eijiro, met All Might, met a lot of people who showed me the true meaning of heroism. My time at U.A and as a pro after that has shaped me. So now I have only one thing to say." Bakugo leaned forward into the mic more, to make sure the whole world heard these words. He once again looked at the green-haired boy. Bakugo smiled.

"Whether you have an invisibility quirk, or a blaster quirk, or even no quirk at all... With enough training and preparation, You too can become a Hero."

With those last words to a friend long gone, Bakugo closed his eyes and opened them once more. The green-haired boy had vanished, leaving behind a changed Bakugo.

Kirishima thought that, in that moment, overcoming his past, Bakugo had been the most heroic he'd ever seen. The year and a half of struggling, was truly worth it.

AN: Once again I ask thee, to leave a review, it'll help me know what I'm good at, what I'm bad at and most importantly, it'll let me know you enjoy!
