A/N: So sorry for the long-awaited update. Life has gotten tremendously busy for me over the last year. I started college full time and started working full time as well. Without further ado, here is chapter 4. It jumps back to the beginning of the summer two weeks after the term ended.

"Dad, when are they getting here?" I should reiterate that we left before the term ended right after final exams took place. "I'm not sure love, but I should think they'll be here soon as it is already 2:00." Right when dad finished saying that, the fireplace whooshed and spit out Draco. After him, came Blaise, Theo, Pansy, Millie, and Hermione in that order. Even though Hogwarts placed me in Slytherin my 1st year, Hermione and I remained friends. She didn't care that I had friends in Slytherin or that I had been placed in Slytherin. I know I haven't mentioned my adopted family in a while. I'm still close to them but since the truth had come out at the end of the term, I decided to go home with dad. But they're coming over as well today.

"Hey you guys." Everyone replied with hey, hi, or hello. "Why did you leave right after finals," Millie asked. Everyone was intrigued to see what my answer was going to be. I told them it was because Dumbledore told dad the truth about what happened to mum. "Wait, what actually happened to your mum," Hermione asked. "When I was a year old, Dumbledore and his so called "order of the phoenix attacked our manor and killed mum in the process." By the time I finished explaining, I had tears running down my face because it just hit me a year later what happened to mum.

"Oh," said Blaise. "Ever the eloquent one Blaise," I replied while laugh crying. "Well, at least I lightened the mood," he said after sticking his tongue out at me. After we got done talking about what I missed at the feast, which wasn't much apparently, we decided to play a pick me up game of quidditch. Since Hermione doesn't like to fly, we all decided to let her keep score. By the way, if you're wondering about the bludgers, we don't play with those. Team 1 consisted of Blaise, Theo, and Millie and called themselves The Flames. Pansy, Draco, and I were on team 2 and we called ourselves The Snakes.

They beat us by 10 points. By then, it was almost 5:00 so with dad's permission and their parents' permission, they were able to stay the night. But Mama Allgood, Daddy Chip, and my two adopted brothers decided to head home after dinner. And no, Chip is not his real name. It's a nickname from his childhood. When he was a child, his favorite snack was chips and that's all he wanted for snacks. Eventually, it became a nickname and it stuck. Rule goes that boys stay in one room and the girls in another. We all agree and understand why that is. The next morning after breakfast, everyone heads home so it's just dad and I. Shortly after everyone leaves, the floo chimes signaling that someone wants to come through.

It's none other than deceitful Dumbledore. Even though dad is done with the fraud that Dumbledore is, he decided to put on his big boy britches and hear what he has to say. And so, rather reluctantly, he lets Dumbledore come through. Instantly, the air becomes so palpable, it gets hard to breathe. Dad and I both have the instinct that Dumbledore is not sorry in the least. When Dumbledore tries to lift his wand to dad, dad strikes first by immobilizing him and sending him straight to the ministry with a note attached to his robes saying that he rose his wand to strike Severus Snape and he is not the person everyone thinks he is and thus Dumbledore was thrown into Azkaban after his memories were reviewed.

This morning, it was announced that Minerva McGonagall is the new headmistress of Hogwarts and dad was offered the job of deputy headmaster and he cordially accepted. Which means we'll be returning to Hogwarts next week. But for now, I'm content to just relax until the chaos of school begins. Perhaps, tonight I'll ask dad how he and mom met. Or perhaps, that's a story for another time.
