It didn't take Mia long to reach the bottom of the mountain as Danny remains on her shoulder. She was on her way to the town, and Danny notices her face.

"Mia? Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah! I'm fine!" She said, but he could see the smile was fake.

"Mia, something is bothering you. Trust me, I know a fake smile. I made a few myself." Danny said.

"Well, I'm a giant," Mia said, sadly.

Danny was confused for a second before it clicks.

"Right. Not everyone is nice to giants." He said.

"I'm not well-liked among my kind either," Mia added.

"What do you mean?" Danny asked.

"I might be bigger than the humans, but I'm actually the smallest giant in my home," Mia said.

"You are?" Danny asked.

"Yes. Other giants make fun of my small size. Saying I'm not fit to be a giant or strong enough to fight. It got even worst when a few giants my age started to bully me. My parents weren't much help. I love them and all, but it hard getting them to understand my problems. Not to mention, they're friends with the ones that bully me." Mia said.

Danny sighs and shook his head. This was proof that Giants are just like humans.

"I know how that feels," Danny said.

"Huh?" Mia asked.

"I always wanted to be a knight. However, just about everyone in my village thinks I can't be one. I can't hold any huge weapons. Bronze Sword, Ax, Two-Handed Swords, heck there are even a few shields that I can't pick up. The only weapon I can hold is short swords. I just became a knight. My reason for being a knight is to protect everyone and everything. No matter the reason, a Knight must stand for true justice." He said.

Mia was shocked. She smiles and blushes. He knew how she felt. She felt her heart flutter as she continued to walk.

"Hey, Mia? What did you leave your home?" Danny asked.

"I couldn't stand it anymore. Everyone makes fun of my small size without taken notice of how I feel. And due to being bullied so much, I couldn't take it anymore. With my parents being friends with the parents of those bullies, I can't tell them without getting even more bullied. But I want to show my kind that small size doesn't matter to a giant. In fact, my hammer is one of the treasures of my kind. And I'm the only one that can use it." She said.

"Treasure?" Danny asked.

"Yes, Earth Staker is one of our powerful treasures. However, not everyone can use it. And before you asked, I didn't steal it. It came to me." Mia said.

"Came to you?" Danny asked, shocked.

"I was resting a little bit after running away, and the next day, I found it next to me. Knowing how important it is to my kind, I've been keeping it safe. Which isn't hard to do." She said.

"I notice you could control the earth with it. Is it magic?" Danny asked.

"Yes. Giants have a strong connection to the earth. Earth Staker was made from the Earth itself!" Mia said.

"Wow. I kind of wish I could magic. My short sword is just an original sword. Nothing magical about it." Danny said.

"Well, I did hear that Dan could use magic. He said something about his sword being made from the souls of the demons." Mia said.

"Really? I didn't know that." Danny said.

"I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it is very powerful," Mia said.

Danny was surprised at that. Plus, it makes sense why his family didn't have it. A sword created from the souls of demons must be a dangerous sword in the wrong hands. His ancestor must have hidden the sword away after the war. He was about to speak before seeing they were about to enter the town.

"Can you let me down here?" He asked Mia.

"Sure!" Mia said, bring her hand close.

Danny climbs on it and was soon set on the ground. Both he and Mia walk into the town, not knowing someone was watching them.

Danny sells a few things he didn't need and soon brought a light but durable armor. It mostly covers his chest and had small shoulder pads. It was enough for now. He walks outside and saw Mia looking down. He knew why and walks up to her.

"Hey, don't think about it. You know who you are and that all that matters. Give people a chance to see the real you." He said.

Mia blushes and looks off to the side.

"Thank you." She said.

"Sure! What are friends for?" Danny smiles.

"Friends?" Mia asked, shocked.

"Yeah. I might have not known you long, but you didn't give me any reason not to trust you. It doesn't matter if you're a giant. Besides, I own you one for saving my life." Danny said.

Mia looks down, almost ready to cry. She then grabs Danny and started to rub her cheek on his, which was a little awkward due to their different sizes.

"Mia?" Danny asked, a little confuse.

"Thank you, Captain." She said.

Danny raised an eyebrow but nodded back.

A little while later...

Danny walks through the town as Mia took smaller steps to make sure he kept up with. Many people were shocked to see a human and a giant walking next to each other. Danny saw a weapon store and ask Mia to wait for him. She carefully sat down and waiting for Danny to come back. As she did, Mia looks around the town. She was taller than most of the buildings, and some of them look like. She looks down and sighs.

"Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a giant." She whispers to herself.

She heard the sound of children laughing and watches them run around. One of them notices her and started to walk up to her. It was a young girl and she was surprised to see her.

"Are you really a giant?" She asked.

"Yes," Mia said.

The young girl got closer and Mia lower her hand. The girl looks at it and saw that Mia's hand wasn't that different from her own besides the size. Mia kept her hand still, not wanting to frighten the girl. She soon climbs on her hand and looks over the huge lines on it.

"You don't look scary. You look like a human." The girl said.

"Well, giants are like humans. Besides our sizes, we're not that much different. I have no means of harming anyone here." Mia said.

"You're pretty." The girl said.

"Thank you." Mia blushes.

"Karla!"

The little girl turns and saw her friends waving towards her. She then turns back to Mia and smiles.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Giant!" She said.

"Mia, my name is Mia," Mia told her.

The little girl climbs off and ran towards her friends. Mia watches and smiles. She felt happy that someone wasn't scared of her and didn't run at the first sight of her. She carefully leads back and sighs.

However, she could sense something was wrong. She sat up and looks around. She places a hand on the ground and closes her eyes. She could hear something. Something that sounds like a string getting pulled back. She then heard the string bounce back, throwing an arrow at her!

Mia opens her eyes and puts up her glove hand, causing the arrow to shatter when hitting it. She stood up and looks around. She was then shocked as more arrows came flying at her.

"EARTH WALL!"

A huge rocky wall appears, blocking the arrows. Mia had no idea who was trying to hurt her, but this person was going to hurt others.

"I know you can hear me! Stop this attack before you hurt someone!" She shouted.

She saw more arrows coming at her and ducks behind her wall again. She looks behind her and saw some of the kids trying to hide from the arrows. Mia knew she couldn't stay.

"Mia!"

She turns and saw Danny running out of the store.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"Someone is attacking! I don't know who." She said.

"Why? This town hasn't done anything." Danny asked.

"I think they're aiming at me," Mia said.

Danny didn't like that. Everyone was so quick to judge giants before getting to know them. Danny knew Mia would never hurt anyone. But they couldn't stay. People were going to get hurt. Plus, he couldn't find a new sword.

"Let's lead them out of town. That way bystanders won't get hurt." Danny told her.

"Roger Captain!" Mia said, scooping him up.

Mia ran through the town, staying away from a large group of people. The arrows implanted themselves in her back, but she pays no mind. Danny held on to her ring and middle rings, keeping an eye out for people that might not see Mia running.

It didn't take them long to reach the outskirts of town. Mia was caught by surprise when some more arrows shot out from the trees and open up to a makeshift net that covers her. Danny fell from her hand as Mia was pinned to the ground. Danny lands on his back, knocking the breath out of him. Mia tries to break free before seeing someone walking over to her.

It was a man, clearly still in his 30's. He had muscles and was carrying a crossbow. He also had hunter gear on with boots and gloves. He had green eyes and messy brown hair. He even had a goatee.

"Who are you?" Mia asked.

"My name is Skulker, Giant. And I'm the world's greatest hunter." He said.

"Why are you attack me?" She asked.

"Why? Because selling a giant will make me a rich man. Rich enough to hunt anywhere." He said, smirking evilly.

Mia growls and tries to break free, but Skulker laughs.

"Don't bother. I'm aware of how strong you giants get. It took me a while, but I found the perfect trap for you. Those ropes are coated in Sliver Desmore." He said.

"WHAT?!" Mia shouted.

"And now to complete the hunt," Skulker said, aiming his crossbow at her.

"Let her go!"

Skulker turns and saw Danny standing up, holding his sword out.

"Hmph. Beat it, whelp. This is more hunt." He said.

"Let Mia go," Danny said.

Skulker sighs and shot an arrow at him. Danny quickly blocks it with his sword and glares at him. Skulker rolls his eyes and fires another arrow. This time, Danny dodge the arrow. Mia blinks in surprise. She saw Danny fight off the wolves with ease, but there was something different about him. Skulker growls and shot out three arrows. Danny slashes each of them with his sword, leaving the arrows at his feet.

"You little whelp!" Skulker shouted, drawing out his long sword.

He changes at Danny, swinging his sword, which Danny blocks with his own. Skulker was a bit shock to see that Danny's eyes were glowing green. Danny pushes the sword away and slashes at Skulker. Skulker was knocked back as a cut appears on his chest. He growls and starts running back to the tree that his net came from. He grabs a rope and pulls on it. Soon more arrows came flying out and were heading for Danny.

"Captain!" Mia shouted.

Danny grips his sword, and it started to glow.

"GHOST SLASH!"

He swings his sword in front of him, unleashing a green wave that destroys the arrows. Mia and Skulker were both shocked. Mia, because Danny used magic. Skulker, because he knew what kind of magic that was.

"That's impossible." He said.

Then Danny rushes up to Skulker, holding his sword to his left.

"GHOST WAVE!"

Danny swings his sword and sends out another green wave that blows Skulker away. The blowback from the attack made the wind so sharp, it cut the ropes keeping Mia pin. Mia took the ropes off and looks at Danny.

"Danny?" She asked.

Danny looks back at her giving a smile. His eyes turned back to blue and fell forward. Mia quickly caught him.

Captian?" She asked, hearing him groan.

"Mia? What's...my eyes hurt." Danny said, rubbing his eyes.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I think so. Where did that hunter go?" Danny asked.

"You don't remember?" Mia asked.

"The last thing I saw was you cover in a net and seeing that hunter aim it crossbow at you. Then, I guess I blacked out." He said.

'He doesn't remember anything? Wait, I recall seeing Dan have the same glowing green eyes. Since Danny is his descendant, maybe he has the same special power?' Mai thought.

Elsewhere...

Skulker sat on a few branches as a nest landed on his head. Though upset about losing the giant, he was smirking.

"Well, that boy is far more interesting than I thought. To think he carries the power of the dead. The hunt just got better." He said before a bird started to attack him.

Sorry for the long wait. I sometimes take a break in the middle of the chapter and play 7DS on my phone. Also, don't be confused by the chapter title. It just my way of showing how Danny and Mia get along. Danny doesn't know about the special power that his ancestor had and he nows has. It will be later down the road he and the others will learn about it. So, I cover a bit of Mia's backstory. And in case anyone is would how big Mia is for a giant, the best I can come up with, she's about the size of an average tree. The other giants are about 5 feet taller than her. Also, I brought in Skulker. I am bringing in Danny Phantom enemies. Some will be human, others will be demons. Don't ask. I'm not that far. That being said, I don't mind any OC Villains. Just remember to tell me who they are and why they are after the group. Everything else is up to you.
