Author's Note: I got some reviews on this story! More on that later! And now, on with the story!

As Ash, too stunned to move out of the way, looked at the beam of energy going towards him, he braced for the impact as Pikachu and Riolu could only watch.

"Pyroar! Flamethrower!". Ash looked up to see a lion-like Pokémon locked in a beam-o-war with the Metagross using its Flamethrower. Ash took a peek behind him to see someone he thought he'd never see again. "L-Lysandre?" he asked. Lysandre was busy battling Nishi and did not acknowledge his presence to Ash. "That was a very un-honorable thing to do," he told Nishi as Pyroar continued to battle Metagross. "Stay out of this!" Nishi yelled back. "I don't think it is wise to talk back to me, especially since I was observing the battle from the sidelines. When I noticed you were getting more deranged, I called Officer Jenny,".

Nishi stuttered a bit as he could feel a presence behind him. "I believe that I've seen enough," said Jenny. Nishi started to back up only to run into Pikachu and Riolu who were pretty upset that he had just attacked their trainer like that (Ash had healed them when Lysandre had appeared). "I..uh…heh, you see, this is all a big misunderstanding," he said.

A few minutes later he was in the back of a squad car, his Pokémon confiscated and handcuffed. "I will call his parents when we get to the station," Jenny told Ash and Lysandre. "This is not the first time he has pulled something like this. He has attacked Kanto natives before, but usually in proper Pokémon battles. This is the first time he has actually tried to attack the trainer as well. I thank you for your help Mr…" she paused, as she did not catch Lysandre's name.

"It's Fleur-De-Lis," he told her. As Jenny was writing it down, he noticed that the storm was starting to clear up. 'Kyogre should be leaving right about now,' he thought to himself. He looked over at Ash who was checking the time on his Rotom Phone. Wait, Rotom Phone? Lysandre was a bit amazed that Rotom was being used that way. Things seemed to have advanced since he was…dead.

Meanwhile…

Kyogre was sitting in Lillycove Bay. He was watching the arrest from afar. Thankfully, he was underwater, so no citizens had seen him. He had created a storm as a distraction while he oversaw Lysandre's arrival. He was planning on leaving, but there was still the contest that was about to start. "Are you going to leave now or what?" a voice asked from behind him. Kyogre moved his eye to see Mew right next to him in one of her bubbles. "Do I really have to leave Mew? I sort of want to see that contest going on. We always watch them from the Hall of Origin, but that is only through Arceus's scrying screen. This time I want to see it in person,". "Ya know you can't really do that Kyogre," said Mew. "Not unless you can turn into a human somehow,". "Please, don't be ridiculous Mew," said Kyogre. "You know I can't do that,". "I know but how where you going to see it anyway? The contest hall is not underwater,". "Can't you use Psychic to lift me up and fly us up so we can see it?"Kyogre asked. "Please, the only thing worse than you sitting here in the bay is you flying over the city. I doubt the citizens would be happy about their Sea God flying above them,". Kyogre sighed. "I guess I could always get myself caught by a trainer. And have them enter me in a contest. I believe that I would do great in a beauty contest,". "This fanfic runs on the Anime-style contests, not the games! And besides, the author won't do a contest because he did not pay attention to them in the anime proper because he was not able to watch it all the time. And frankly, he was not a big fan of them,". Kyogre stayed silent. Mew suddenly perked up. "Oh, by the way, Mewtwo is asking me to tell you to get back to the Hall. He is stuck on Manaphy duty, and he is tired of Manaphy constantly waking up from his naps". Kyogre sighed and dove down to the bottom of the ocean. 'Maybe next time,' he thought to himself.

Hi! Just want to thank the people who supported this story. I used a Kyogre in contests in Alpha Saphhire, so that is why Kyogre was talking about participating in one. I personally never really got into the contest arcs in the anime (mainly because my only access to them was through DVDs and watching it somewhere with cable). Sure, I watched some of them, and they were good, but they were mostly meh. I really only watched the Sinnoh ones.
