The next morning, Angelica was laying in her bed, feeling lazy to get up as todaw was Saturday. She couldn't stop thinking about Mike if he was gonna make it or not.
"This is partly my fault too," she said to herself, getting up and pacing around her bedroom. "It's just that... I love you, Mike. I really do."
She could not have heard what she's just said. "Oh my god! Did I just say I'm in love with Mike? Holy shit, I just said it."
Her mobile suddenly vibrated on her untidy bed, and she saw the caller. "Susie? What does she want?"
She answered her smartphone while heading over to the living room couch. "Hello?"
"Hi, Angelica. It's Susie."
"What is it?"
"I heard what happened about Mike getting beat up," Susie said in a serious tone. "And you said you also take part of the blame, huh?"
Angelica sighed. "Yeah... Chuck and I really screwed things up this time around."
"I mean, I get it that this is a fangirl thing. It wasn't entirely your own fault." Susie responded.
"It's just that he's more mature than Chuck. And we all see through him as the 'dad' in the group." she said in defense.
"I know that, but still..."
Angelica sniffed, as she felt her tears well up in her eyes. "You think he'll forgive me?"
Susie sighed in disbelief. "I dunno, Ang."
"I... didn't mean... to get him put in a hospital..." Angelica sniffed, trying to hold back her tears.
Susie could tell by her tone that she really felt guilty. "You really feel guilty huh?"
"Uh-huh..."
"Well, uh... I'll leave you to dwell on your thoughts, Angelica. Talk to ya soon. Bye." And she hung up.
Angelica just placed her iPhone on the table infront of her before breaking down completely, unable to hold back her tears anymore. She could only think of what she's done.
"I already have a boyfriend who's been with me since I was 3... and he never left my side in spite of all the hardships I've given him over the years. He was the one who made me nicer and I was the one who made him stronger. But I threw that away and went for Mike instead, who's got Brianna. How the hell could I've been so damn greedy?" She said to herself, thinking of Chuckie's love for her.
Meanwhile Susie's been thinking if she should head over to Angelica's.
'I guess she does feel guilty to some extent,' she thought to herself. 'You know what, Suse, just go anyways.'
She grabbed her keys to her minivan and drove over to Angelica's place to see Angelica still there on the couch in her pajamas.
Susie sat next to her. "I'm sorry about Purnomo, Ang."
At hearing Mike's name, Angelica started wailing again.
"If... I... hadn't been such... a crazy fangirl... this wouldn't have happened." she said between sobs, sniffing every so often.
"You really have feelings for Mike, Ang?" Susie inquired.
Angelica sighed. "Okay... I have a crush on him, okay?" She continued. Brianna'll never forgive me and Chuck for this.
Susie tried to comfort her. "You know there's a difference between liking Mike from afar and being a flirt to him, right?"
"He's just more mature and handsome than Chuck."
"Like I said, that's kinda normal for the girls at school, but you gotta get ahold of yourself. He's already got Brianna!"
"Yeah, I see that now," Angelica sniffed, drying her tears with some tissues.
"I'll go make something hot. Hot chocolate or tea?" Susie offered.
"Hot chocolate'll do," Angelica spoke softly.
"Okay, I'll be back in a few."
Three minutes later she returned from the kitchen with two mugs of hot chocolate with Angelica's mug of a warm yellow smiling sun (which was her attempt at cheering Pickles up).
"Here ya go... careful though, it's piping hot," Susie said.
"Thank you..." Angelica spoke softly.
There was silence between the two for a lengthy five minutes, until Susie decided to break it.
"You know, Ang... it's not just Mike you gotta apologize to. But to Brianna and Chuckie as well, especially Chuckie since you broke his feelings.
"Yeah, I basically betrayed Chuck's feelings. He never left my side in spite of all the hardship I gave him when we were toddlers."
Meanwhile at the Finster's place, Chuckie was sitting in his computer chair, thinking of how much damage he's done to Purnomo.
"Seriously, Chuckie," his sister said to him after she entered his room. "When are you gonna stop staring at the cieling?"
"And how many times did I have to tell you to knock on my door without entering!?"
"Geez, take it eazy," Kimi scoffed. "But seriously, what the hell were you thinking beating Mike into a pulp!? You know Angelica woudn't cheat on you with him and he wouldn't cheat on Brianna!"
Chuckie groaned. "I know... and that's why I feel so frickin' terrible! I feel so idiotic beating him like I'd hit a punching bag."
Kimi sighed. "It's only a matter of time until the school knows you put him in a hospital bed, still in a coma."
"Can we please stop talking about this?! You're stressing me out!"
"Hey, you're the one who beat him down!"
"I know! And to make things worse, it wasn't even an official match, but some jealous-induced attack."
"You gotta apologize to him on Monday either way," Kimi said.
"Yeah," Chuckie agreed. "I'm gonna need to apologize to both him and Brianna. Now get out of my room, Kimi."
"But-"
"Get out! I need some time to think this." Chuckie ordered.
Kimi just left his room and entered her own. Moments later a knock on Chuckie's door was heard.
"Kimi, go away."
"It's not Kimi," a voice spoke.
"Mom? Oh uh, come in," Chuckie said, and Kira entered his room.
"I heard you beat someone up after school today," she confronted her son.
"How did you know?" Chuckie inquired.
"Betty was there at the Lava, remember?"
Chuckie sighed and admitted. "Yeah, it's true. I beat up Mike in a jealousy-induced rage."
"But how could you do that? You're always able to keep fights in the ring and other boxing matches."
"That's the problem, Mom. I wasn't," Chuck told her.
"Well, you have to apologize to him and his girlfriend and also Angelica," Kira said sternly.
At the sound of Angelica's name Chuckie groaned.
"Oh yeah... I forgot to apologize to Angelica for going all bezerk," he said.
Kira sighed. "Hope you learned about what you've done."
"I did."
And at that she left Chuckie's room for him to think about his actions.
