Yukio shot up awake when he heard Shura yell. He turned to look at the other bed at the far corner of the small room where his brother was still sound asleep. Yukio grabbed his glasses and silently walked out of the room to find Shura laying outside his door on the floor a beer in her hands. The others busted out their rooms a second later. Izumo and Bon groaned angrily their previous shocked expressions quickly turning to anger once they figured out what had happened. Bon snickered something before heading back to his room to fall back asleep. "Shura what are you doing?". Yukio asked annoyed pushing his glasses up a white tint hiding his eyes. Shura laughed drunkenly. "Relax four eyes there ain't any danger". "We have work to do we don't have time for you to sit around and get drunk". Yukio reprimanded her. She just shrugged her shoulders and finished the rest of the beer in her hand.
Since it wasn't snowing anymore Yukio and the other ex-wives decided to head out to report back to the Vatican. Rin was still fast asleep so Yukio went back into the room to wake him up. It took a while but Rin finally stirred. "What do you want four eyes?". He asked groggily. "Come on it's time to go". Rin groaned but eventually got up after Yukio ripped the blankets off of his brother. "Good Morning Rin". Shiemi said happily as Rin and Yukio walked into the little living room area of the cabin. Rin being too tired to speak just waved and smiled at her. "The way you're always sleeping you think you wouldn't be so tired". Bon mumbled not missing Rin's ears. He didn't respond though and just followed his brother out the door his sword over his shoulder. "So we aren't gonna go after that demon?". Shima asked as they walked back to the dorms. "No". Yukio responded. "Why wasn't that our mission?". Bon asked confused. "Shouldn't we finish the job"? "I vote we just go home". Shima muttered shivering because of the cold. "Guys maybe". "It's too strong fer ya that's why, so stop yer complaining".Shura interrupted. Izumo mumbled something over her breathe while Bon just stuffed his hands in his pockets angrily. "How are you feeling Rin?". Shiemi asked looking up at Rins tired face. However, it didn't seem like the half-demon heard her. He continued to walk forward his shoulders slumped, His breathing a little heavy and his eyes dull. This didn't go unnoticed by the blonde as she turned to Yukio. "Yuki... I think there's something". She didn't get to finish as she was suddenly yanked away by someone their hand covering her mouth muffling her screams. Yukio turned around just in time to see her get pulled away into the woods. "Shiemi". He pulled out his guns and aimed them at the demon but couldn't get a good shot without the risks of shooting Shiemi. He silently cursed and turned around to face his brother and the other exwires but they were all gone even Shura.
"Wait up Okurmura".Koneko shouted trying desperately to catch up."Forget that we need to corner it".Bon shouted. He motioned Shima and Koneko to go to the left and Izumo to the right. Izumo snickered and summoned her familiars before darting to the right leaving Bon with Rin. The demon looked over his shoulder and grinned taking off faster through the trees with an unconscious Shiemi in his arms."Slow down dammit".Rin shouted the blue flames around him contrasting to his frustrations as it licked up his skin. This is all my fault, why didn't I sense the stupid thing coming if I would of Shiemi wouldn't be in this mess. Dammit if she's hurt. Rin took off faster jumping into the trees after the demon ignoring Bon. He had to save Shiemi. The demon smirked turning around to face the half-demon." You want the girl you gotta fight me satan spawn".It snickered."Whatever Ill kick your ass".The demon laughed."What's so funny?".Rin asked but the demon didn't respond."Hey I...".Rin's sentence was cut off when something hit him hard in the back sending him out of the air and roughly into the snow below. Groaning Rin shot back up his flames burning brightly on his head." What the hell?".He shouted rubbing his throbbing head. He looked around. There weren't as many trees in this area, just the right amount to kick this demon's ass thought Rin. He watched as the demon tossed Shiemi to the ground far away from them." Hey don't just throw her around like some piece of trash".Rin shouted. The demon rolled his eyes." What are you gonna do about it satan spawn".He snickered his tail swinging anxiously behind him." Demons like us shouldn't care about these wretched humans, join me and we can release satan and rule this world, don't you want that? If you stay here they'll continue to corrupt you".Rin held his sword up." I'm not being corrupted and I'm nothing like you I rather die than join you".The demon let his head fall to his chest and groaned before lifting it up again."You're really picking these humans over your own brother? how pathetic, I see you already been corrupted well there's nothing I can do but to kill you I guess".The demon's eyes turned red and he charged at Rin at full speed. Rin was barely able to dodge his claws still managing to get him in the side. Rin gritted his teeth and jumped back as it went for another attack." You talk shit about humans but arent you half-human?".Rin asked charging for an attack of his own." Like hell".The demon shouted kicking the sword out of Rin's hands and Kicking Rin through several tree's behind him."Don't you ever compare me to them".The demon spat grabbing Rins neck. Rin tried to fight free but the demon's grip was too strong."Let him go".Bon shouted. The demon turned around to face Bon and the other exwires." Rin".Koneko shouted."Guys...run".Rin barely was able to choke out. It was too late as Izumo ran over to Shiemi the demon waved its hand and sent the exwires all roughly into trees." I don't have any business with any of you".The demon spat. The demon smirked evilly at Rin." I decided. I'm gonna have some fun with you instead".It said before slamming Rin into the tree knocking the air out of the half-demon before tossing him into the snow. Grabbing Rins Sword the demon summoned his own and with both, he hovered over the half-demon." What should I do first stab you or maybe p...".The demon was cut off when Izumo attacked with her familiars."Leave him the hell alone you bastard".Before the demon could angrily attack her Rin jammed his scabbard into the demon's gut and then sucker punched it in the jaw. The demon was pushed back but showed no sign of being injured."You are weak".Before he knew it Rin was out of breath again and every fiber of his being hurt. He tried to open his eyes but they were too heavy. All he remembered before blacking out was hot overwhelming pain.
