In this YuYuGiDigiMoon reboot, it starts with Yuki Judai meeting Takato at a convention. Then, an alien attack occurs and things spiral out of control. Groups of heroes unite to save their world from an invasive force called the Rajita Empire, who seek Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal. Afterward, more enemies come out of the shadows to challenge our heroes.

4. Arc III: Legacy of Across Dimensions

A/N: Hello, and welcome to another Shin-YuYuGiDigiMoon chapter!

Before I start, in response to those put off by the overly sexualized content, I've largely downplayed them from the previous chapter. You've spoken and now we can continue the 'cutesy crossover shonen battle' without the gratuitous content. (side-eyes a certain reviewer)

Good news, this won't be your usually epic-length chapters. This one is moderate-length by Shin-YYGDM standards. It is also by all intents and purposes an intermission. And for anyone expecting big battles, well, you're not going to get that. Sorry, this chapter is mostly character interactions.

And this one is a crossover with other dimensions based on other fanfictions I've written in the past. This also marks the 10th anniversary since I wrote a fanfic called Across Dimensions that crossed over my two well-known works: the original YuYuGiDigiMoon and Digimon Fusion Kai (a Digimon/DBZ Fusion Fic), as well as Chaosblazer's Digimon Accel Stream. Since then, this unity has spawned several crossover events, which culminated with Cross Generations.

Now, it is time for the original 'Triad' to meet Shin-YuYuGiDigiMoon.

It has been over four months since the Taiyōkai War and the Second Titanomachy was decided. And after vanquishing Arago & Chaos's spawn, the Paradius duo left a lasting impression and warned them of the 'End of Days' event yet to come. Since then, the heroes received a deserved reprieve and took a trip to Athens, Greece.

Among the newest additions to the hero roster, the Kuiper Belt Senshi have settled in their new Sailor Senshi and Japanese abroad lives.

(Cue Morgan Studios - New Calm (Peaceful Music))

Today, on a beautiful summer day, the heroes decided to come together and celebrate over two years since their union and victory over the Rajita invaders.

As the heroes arrived in Shinjuku Gyoen, a large group gathered under a large tree and set up a picnic. Among this group are Tsukino Usagi & Chiba Mamoru, Matsuda Takato & Guilmon, Yuki Judai, Urameshi Yusuke & Yukimura Keiko, Osaka Karin & Dimitri Uchida, Kensuke Rainer & Christina Denton, Yagami Taichi & Agumon, Ishida Yamato & Gabumon, Hino Rei & Hiei, Meio Setsuna & Lupe, Akiyama Ryō & Cyberdramon, Alice & Dobermon, Dorothel, Tsubasa Yui & Inuki Yui, Muto Yugi & Masaki Anzu, Makino Ruki & Renamon, Tenjōin Asuka, Marufuji Sho & Hamaguchi Momoe, Manjoume Jun, Tenjōin Fubuki & Sara, Ayami Kotori & Betamon, Tsubasa Himura & BlackGabumon, Time Thief Redoer & Kou Yaten, Time Thief Winder & Time Thief Perpetua, and Reina & David.

Everyone enjoyed their leisure time and delved into fun and wholesome conversations. It wasn't often the heroes gathered for such special occasions. That is what made today special. They could congregate and catch up on each other's lives before splitting up until the next possible threat arrives. Although, some groups, namely the Sailor Senshi & Spirit Detectives, have formed stronger bonds, especially as Rei & Hiei and Minako & Kurama's relationships have grown.

Passing along a bag, Judai shared some seaweed chips with Takato. Pulling out a piece of bread shaped like his face, Guilmon stuffed his face with his favorite 'Guilmon' bread. Usagi & Mamoru and Yusuke & Keiko both enjoyed the scenery while they shared fun conversations. Taichi and Yamato watched their partners stuffing their faces with food. Ryō, Alice, and Dorothel relaxed together as they enjoyed each other's company. Even Reina, who was a Valkyrie adjusting to her Earth civilian life, felt right at home with her new boyfriend David.

"Man, thanks for bringing these seaweed chips, Judai! I love 'em!" Takato said delightfully.

"I didn't know what to bring to the picnic. So, I just decided on some snacks."

"You want some Guilmon bread, Judai?" Guilmon offered, handing him a piece, which Judai took and looked at the red gumballs staring right back at him. "It's good! Try some!"

"Thanks, Guilmon," Judai smirked as he bit into it. "Yum, this is good!"

"Having fun over there, boys?" Asuka asked the two.

"Maybe a little too fun," Ruki observed Takato and Judai's interactions.

"Heheh, why wouldn't we be having fun now? It's not often we see each other," Sho added while laying next to Momoe. "Right?"

Momoe smiled and nodded. "Yeah, but you and I have been seeing each other a lot, haven't we, my dear Sho." The playful tone in her voice caused Sho to blush.

"Hey, you're right. You and Momoe make one good couple," Judai remarked, giving his best friend and Momoe credit on their relationship.

"Here, everyone. Help yourself to some sandwiches I made," Karin offered, holding up a basket full of tuna sandwiches.

"Karin knows how to make the best tuna sandwiches!" Dimitri announced.

"Don't mind if I do!" Christina happily reached for a tuna sandwich.

"I'll have one, too," Kensuke asked from Karin.

"Yeah, help yourselves," Karin smiled while opening the basket for Christina and Kensuke.

Gazing up at the bright and sunny sky, Yaten smirked. "It's days like this I remember there's more to life than fighting."

Laying beside Yaten, Time Thief Redoer added. "Me, too. Ever since I got to know you and the others, it's been chill for us."

"As much as I'd like it to stay that way, let's not forget what those two warned us about. The End of Days," Lupe reminded them.

Upon holding Lupe's hand, Setsuna nodded dismissively to him. "Let's not worry about now, Lupe. Let's make the most of today without worrying about what's to come. Besides, for my own mental health, I'd rather not be reminded of you know who."

Lupe apologetically responded. "I understand. I'm sorry, love." He kissed her hand, to which she responded with a kiss on his lips.

"Yes, between our trip to Greece and this, we need all the therapeutic outings after all we went through," Rei said, laying next to Hiei on a picnic sheet.

"Hey, Hiei. How's life on the shrine? Have you and those crows finally made peace over who uses the trees?" Yusuke asked the demon, who grunted and rolled his eyes to the side.

"We made a truce a long time ago, Yusuke," Hiei scoffed.

"Yeah, if anything he acts as their guardian. Right, Hiei?" Rei coyly smirked over at the demon.

"Only because they asked nicely."

"Say, where are Phobos and Deimos?" Usagi wondered.

"Oh, they went out with those Stromberg boys. Max and Sam, I believe that's their names?" Rei recalled.

"I see. Lyn's two brothers," Yugi overheard with a smile. "Yes, they're probably off doing their own thing."

"Hey, Kotori! Look over here!" Betamon called over to his Tamer as he, BlackGabumon, Agumon, and Gabumon stacked on top of themselves, forming a 'Digimon pyramid' for all to see.

"Oh, geez. Guys, be careful…!" Kotori called out but it was too late, the Digimon pyramid collapsed due to their weight.

Himura half-chuckled. "It was a nice attempt, at least."

"Heheh, don't give up and try again," Yui encouraged them.

Giggling, Reina addressed Kotori. "You have very wholesome friends, Kotori. I kind of wish I lived your life."

Kotori blinked. "Really? But, you're a badass Valkyrie and a Duel Monster, too! If I were you, I wouldn't give that up for anything!"

Shaking her head, Reina replied. "Don't worry about me. Being a Valkyrie and serving my King Vidar and Lady Eir has its perks, but having lived a civilian life as Reina has opened my eyes to your world. I actually like a normal life. Natalie thinks so, too."

David added as he held Reina's hand. "And she's even happier now that I've entered her life. Now Brunhilde and Siegfried have truly been reunited."

"If you put it that way, I suppose you have a point," Kotori smiled.

"Thank you for exposing me to the good and exciting prospects that Midgard has to offer for Natalie and me."

"Sure."

(End theme)

As Usagi stood up and noticed a bright gleaming light forming above them. It wasn't long until Setsuna, Rei, Lupe, Judai, the Digimon, Yusuke, Hiei, Yui, and Aoshi sensed malicious energies coming directly from this anomalous source.

Like an explosion, the powerful force came out of nowhere and made an impact with the peaceful scenery. The disruption caused an uproar and sent bystanders running. However, the heroes quickly faced the ominous source above them and saw a portal opening up. As the portal fully materialized, the group saw four anonymous figures emerge from the portal in front of them.

"A portal?!" Takato exclaimed.

"Who or what is coming out?!" Judai wondered out loud as the figures floated down to meet them.

"I don't know but there's evil energies from these four," Rei clarified as she and the others with strong spiritual senses faced the malevolent newcomers with contempt.

"Yeah, she's not kidding. These four have serious evil spirit power," Yusuke added. "Keiko, get to safety and stay far away from here."

"Aoshi, you, too. Go and protect Keiko," Yui advised her Lycan friend. With that, Aoshi grabbed Keiko's hand and escorted her away from the vicinity that was soon to erupt into another battlefield.

"Anzu, you go, too! I don't want you getting caught up in this!" Yugi barked as Anzu ran off and joined Aoshi, Keiko, and others fleeing from the area.

"Mamo, can you make sure they're taken to safety?" Usagi asked Mamoru, who nodded and headed off.

"Ruki, make sure everyone else in the park is ok. If you can and things get rough, come back with Jianliang!" Takato instructed her.

"Ok! Let's move, Renamon!" Ruki called to her partner as they raced off to warn the other Tamers.

"I'll go and get the other Kuipers, Karin! Ken, be careful," Christina said as she ran off and contacted them for a meet-up spot.

"Alice, stay behind us," Ryō instructed as he, Dorothel, and Dobermon protected her.

"Um, shouldn't we get moving and away from here?!" Momoe frantically asked Sho.

"Don't worry, we got our Duel Monsters ready when we need them and Yubel's up for a fight," Judai reassured his friends as Yubel appeared beside him.

"You ready for a fight, Guilmon?" Takato asked his partner, who nodded.

"We're ready, too, Taichi!" Agumon added as he and Gabumon readily stood next to their partners.

Sighing deeply, Reina stood up. "I suppose even peacetime can't last. Ready, David?" With that, she invoked her Valkyrie magic and transformed into Brunhilde. Likewise, David summoned his weapon, Gram.

As the four evil beings fully revealed themselves, their dark auras pushed most of the heroes back.

"Greetings, heroes. Congratulations on defeating Arago, Erebus, and Nyx. However, Paradius has summoned us to deal with you now," the first of the four, a large female figure with mineral skin and back-length rose hair with each hair tip shaped like cyan and red-colored dragon tails. Her blood red eyes scanned the heroes standing up against her and her three colleagues. As a devilish smirk smeared across her pale features, she addressed them disparagingly. "I find it quite appalling Arago, Erebus, and Nyx were defeated by you feeble mortals, but then again, they're weak compared to us, the Chaosastra."

"Wait, the Chaosastra?! We heard about you!" Usagi recalled the detailed backstory Queen Serenity told them about the Cosmoastra and Chaosastra conflict.

"Yes, then you must be…" Setsuna muttered before the evil deity shrouded in a dark red fiery cloak with an alabaster-colored face and a thick flaming black mustache and black eyes finished for her.

"I am Isfet the Fire Chaosastrum and the leader of the four Chaosastra," answered the crimson fiery-cloaked deity.

"Yes, I am Tiamat the Water Chaosastrum. And these three are my colleagues."

"I am Amatsumikaboshi the Wind Chaosastrum." A being covered in thick black formless entity answered. His eyes are bold and white with tiny black red irises and ten long tendrils.

"I am Hundun the Earth Chaosastrum." A 15-foot tall behemoth whose body is made entirely out of terracotta red earth and dark golden body armor, which covered his broad shoulders, elbows, shins, and feet. His red eyes scanned over the heroes, picking out his next victims.

Upon hearing the Wind Chaosastrum's introduction, Yusuke growled. "Now, I heard all about you from Koenma! You're the one who gave birth to the Akadean!"

Amatsumikaboshi chortled evilly. "Yes, and I know Arago used my power to his fullest advantage. Congratulations on defeating him, Spirit Detectives, but I won't be beaten so easily by you lowly demons and humans.

"If I recall, the four that opposed you are the Cosmosastra: Ma'at the Fire Cosmosastrum, Pangu the Earth Cosmosastrum, Amenominakanushi the Wind Cosmosastrum, and Abzu the Water Cosmosastrum!" Setsuna verified her colleagues.

"Yes, indeed! And Pangu won't be here to intervene against what I plan to do to your planet!" Hundun boasted, threatening to use his sheer force to obliterate Earth with a single blow.

Isfet openly declared. "Indeed, and the Cosmosastra aren't here to help you. Moreover, I know among you wielded Ra." He turned over toward Yugi and grinned evilly. "My son, Apep, once rivaled Ma'at's son, Ra, ages ago."

"Ra and your son were once enemies?! Well, I don't have Ra with me now but he will help me defeat you in spirit!" Yugi bellowed.

Dismissing Yugi's vow, Isfet chuckled. "You're more than welcome to try. You may invoke the image of the once Great Pharaoh Atem and be guided by his spirit, but he cannot help you now, Muto Yugi! The Chaosastra shall purge you mortals and all you hold dear! Let our sea of chaos consume you!"

"So, you're here and want to ruin our peaceful day. Well, you've got a fight! Get ready, everyone!" Usagi frowned as she transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon.

Following suit, the other Sailor Senshi transformed and every Digimon evolved into their Mega-level form. Sailor Mars, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Star Healer, Sailor Sedna, Perseus, and Prince Sedna stood poised around Sailor Moon. Lupe turned into Volodramon. Dukemon, Omegamon, Omegamon InuMizuchi Mode, Justimon, and Plutomon assembled. After Yui turned into Shaka, the Spirit Detectives stood firm and ready to fight. The Duelists, led by Yugi and Jaden, summoned their respective Duel Monsters.

Taking Isfet head-on were Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Yugi & his array of Duel Monsters (including the Black Magician), Fubuki, and Sara

Sailor Pluto, Volodramon, the Time Thieves (Redoer, Winder, Perpetua), Sailor Star Healer, Justimon, Plutomon, and Dorothel engaged Hundun.

Yusuke, Shaka, Omegamon InuMizuchi, Sho & his Duel Monsters, Manjoume & his Duel Monsters, Brunhilde, and David readily fought Amatsumikaboshi.

Judai & his Duel Monsters, Asuka & her Duel Monsters, Sailor Sedna, Prince Sedna, Perseus, Omegamon, and Dukemon took on Tiamat in an intense battle.

As the sides clashed, the battle went not as the heroes hoped. The Chaosastra proved too formidable against them. Even as Sailor Mars shifted into her Hōō state, the Chaosastra were able to subdue her with their combined cosmic powers.

After repelling the heroes' combined attacks, the Chaosastra overwhelmed them and set to deliver the finishing blow to them.

"Now, prepare to meet your fates and one less problem for our Paradius benefactors," Isfet grinned evilly as he and his three colleagues prepared to finish them.

Suddenly, a shining beacon of light beamed from the sky and another portal opened up. As the Chaosastra and the heroes noticed the portal, benevolent energies were coming from this source. The nature of this portal differed from the one the Chaosastra used to arrive.

Most surprising was who came out of this portal. The heroes, specifically Sailor Moon, Dukemon, Judai, Yusuke, Hōō Mars, Sailor Pluto, Volodramon, and Kotori were flabbergasted by the new arrivals' faces. They looked at these figures as if they were looking at themselves in a mirror.

(Cue Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames)

"I-Is that… me?!" Dukemon muttered in disbelief, taken aback by the appearance of another Takato and Guilmon floating out of the portal.

"So, I'm not the only one imaging things!" Judai added as he saw another 'Judai' pop out of the portal as well.

"Me, too?" Eternal Sailor Moon gaped at the sight of another Sailor Moon floating down.

"Is that me?" Kotori gaped at the sight of another Valkyrie with her face but with light blue hair.

"Well, what do we have here?" Isfet noticed the newcomers as he and the Chaosastra turned away from the heroes.

"There's two of them?" Tiamat gawked in confusion between the two Sailor Moons.

"What trickery is this?" Amatsumikaboshi questioned as he noticed the other Yusuke floating from the portal.

Upon studying the nature of the portal, Isfet scoffed. "No, I see now. This is a portal from an alternate reality. I've heard about interdimensional travel."

"Interdimensional travel?" Volodramon overheard.

"So, it is true," Pluto added as she and Volodramon saw their alternate selves as well.

"What dimension have we landed in? I see us but they're not really us!" Takato (YYGDM-01) called out as he and Guilmon (YYGDM-01) noticed their alternate selves.

"We've landed in a dimension outside the layers of The Source," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) confirmed once she and Pluto painstakingly eyed one another.

"And looks like they're in trouble fighting whoever the hell these four are," Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) noticed the Chaosastra. She quickly turned toward Kotori. "That must be me but her hair is darker than mine."

"Hey. other me. Looks like you're going to need some help?" Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01) asked Eternal Sailor Moon, who nodded and didn't say a word.

"Don't forget about us," a voice chimed in, belonging to who appeared to be a young adult man with a semi-armored battle outfit that's a cross between WarGreymon's and an orange gi coupled with a black undershirt. The man in question has spiky brown hair resembling Taichi's, which quickly turned bright gold. From a glance, this individual looked like a Super Saiyan.

Upon seeing this golden-haired version of himself, Taichi blinked in awe. "...is he supposed to be me? Like a Super Saiyan version of me?"

"Whoa, I exist in this world, but how?" The golden-haired Taichi blinked.

"Omega X, looks like this dimension has variations of us," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) addressed the golden-haired Taichi by his warrior's name.

"Well, well, if it isn't my counterpart," came another voice with a gruff tone belonging to another golden-haired young man, who appeared beside Omega X (DF-616) with arms crossed. He eyed Yamato and Omegamon. "Then again, it's not my first time seeing another version of me."

"Wait, that's me? I have a Super Saiyan counterpart, too?!" Yamato balked.

"Yes, but you may call me Metalla X while I'm in this state," the warrior responded.

"Enough! You fools dare to intervene with us carrying out their executions?!" Isfet called out the newcomers.

"Or, maybe we just wanna rain on your bad guy parade?" Yusuke (YYGDM-01) sardonically rebuked.

"Either way, let's give our other selves the support they need!" Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01) declared as she and Eternal Sailor Moon confided with each other. Then, they agreed on defeating their common enemy.

As Takato (YYGDM-01) and Guilmon (YYGDM-01) approached their other selves, they Biomerged but not into Dukemon. Instead, they merged into an amber-eyed young man with long golden hair, a slightly muscular upper body, a red biker jacket with Guilmon's hazard mark & a flaming bird on the back, black pants, red & black sneakers, and fingerless gloves.

"Wait, you didn't merge into Dukemon?" Dukemon asked the merged warrior.

"Dukemon? No, we're Guilkatomon," the warrior coolly responded.

"What kind of weird world did you guys come from?" Judai asked them.

"Just wait until you see, other me! Alright, bad guys! Get your game on!" Jaden (YYGDM-01) declared, pointing directly toward the Chaosastra.

Upon hearing his counterpart's catchphrase, Judai became dumbfounded. "...huh? 'Get your game, on'?"

"This is bizarre," Yugi remarked as his counterpart, Yugi (YYGDM-01), floated toward him.

"You haven't seen anything yet, my friend," Yugi (YYGDM-01) smirked.

As Hōō Mars recovered, she looked up as her counterpart offered her a hand.

"Come one, other me. Let's take down these jerks," Houou Mars (YYGDM-01) helped Hōō Mars up with a smile on her face.

As Himura watched Kotori facing Brunhilde (YYGDM-01), he was approached by his counterpart, Himura (YYGDM-01), along with a different Digimon. Rather than a BlackGabumon, a tall, bipedal hellhound Digimon with red eyes appeared beside him.

"Not a BlackGabumon?" Himura asked Himura (YYGDM-01).

"No, this is my partner Inumon," Himura (YYGDM-01) replied. With that, he and Inumon Biomerged into a lanky-stature warrior with wild and pale golden hair. He is seen in a golden robe with a silver waist belt & a necklace, and black shoes. In his right hand, the warrior wielded his large blade called the Byakko Fang. "In this state, I'm Inumuramon."

"MetalSeadramon!" Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) beckoned as her partner whirled around her as all but his head, horn, and segments of his armor vanished and meshed with her body. "When MetalSeadramon and I combine our power, we become Brunhilde Leviathan Mode!"

Upon seeing her counterpart transform, Kotori was in awe. "Whoa…"

Omegamon InuMizuchi scoffed. "What a show-off. C'mon, Brunhilde Leviathan Mode?"

"Fascinating. You mean to tell me, you're me in another dimension, Kotori?" Brunhilde asked the Tamer.

"I guess so? So, I'm both a Valkyrie and a Tamer from this weird crossover world?" Kotori was astounded by this revelation.

Justimon, Dorothel, and Plutomon were confronted by Ryo (YYGDM-01) and Cyberdramon (YYGDM-01). In a quick turn of events, Justimon witnessed the duo Biomerge but not into a Justimon, but a different entity.

"In this state, we are Monoryomon," the warrior addressed Justimon and his colleagues.

Elsewhere, Sho met his counterpart, Syrus Truesdale (YYGDM-01). Asuka met Alexis Rhodes (YYGDM-01). Manjoume met Chazz Princeton (YYGDM-01). Fubuki and Sara met their counterparts - Atticus Rhodes (YYGDM-01) and Yasmin (YYGDM-01). Shaka met her counterpart, Yui (YYGDM-01), and a ShadowMetalGarurumon.

Sailor Sedna was confronted by Sailor Sedna (YYGDM-01).

"Another me outside of The Source layer? This is a surprise," Sailor Sedna (YYGDM-01) was taken aback by her counterpart's presence.

Perseus and Prince Sedna met their counterparts: a Dimitri who turned into a Super Saiyan-like warrior named Angemon X and a Kensuke who turned into a humanoid-sized Gundam-like being named Dramon X.

Having seen enough of the heroes' interactions with the newcomers, the Chaosastra launched a full-scale attack on both parties.

(Cue The Birthday Massacre - Mirrors)

Isfet took on Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01), Hōō Mars, Houou Mars (YYGDM-01), Hiei, Yugi, Yugi (YYGDM-01), Fubuki, Sara, Atticus (YYGDM-01), and Yasmin (YYGDM-01).

Hundun engaged or Pluto, Volodramon, Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01), Volodramon (YYGDM-01), Redoer, Winder, Perpetua, Sailor Star Healer, Justimon, Plutomon, Dorothel, and Monoryomon (YYGDM-01).

Amatsumikaboshi fought Yusuke, Yusuke (YYGDM-01), Shaka, Shaka (YYGDM-01), Omegamon InuMizuchi, Inumuramon (YYGDM-01), Brunhilde Leviathan Mode (YYGDM-01), Sho, Manjoume, Syrus (YYGDM-01), Chazz (YYGDM-01), Brunhilde, and David.

Tiamat took on Asuka, Alexis (YYGDM-01), Judai, Jaden (YYGDM-01), Sailor Sedna, Prince Sedna, Perseus, Sailor Sedna (DF-616/YYGDM-01), Dramon X (XLR-8/YYGDM-01), Angemon X (DF-811/YYGDM-01), Metalla X (DF-616), Omega X (DF-616), Omegamon, Dukemon Crimson Mode, and Guilkatomon (YYGDM-01).

Before the other dimension guests arrived, the Chaosastra effortlessly fought and defeated the heroes. However, once the newcomers arrived, the tide quickly turned against the Chaosastra.

As Isfet tried fighting off his adversaries, he found himself not just outnumbered but outmatched by two 'Phoenix Force-like' wielders, a pair of Sailor Moons, and two Yugis with an array of Duel Monsters. However, at one point during the skirmish, Yugi (YYGDM-01) utilized a unique power called Spirit Fusion, giving him the power to turn into any Duel Monster from his deck as he desired. At one instance, Yugi (YYGDM-01) turned into the Magician of Black Chaos and assisted Yugi, who summoned his Black Magician and Black Magician Girl.

While not as strong as their allies, Fubuki & Sara and Atticus (YYGDM-01) & Yasmin (YYGDM-01) provided distraction measures and cleared the vicinity of stray blasts from Isfet. Utilizing coordinated efforts, Hōō Mars and Houou Mars (YYGDM-01) absorbed Isfet's fiery blasts and aura, weakening the Fire Chaosastrum. Hiei then blasted Isfet with his Dragon of the Darkness Flame. After conjuring an army of Duel Monsters, Yugi's Black Magician duo blasted Isfet head-on.

"Take this, Isfet! Dark Magic Attack!" Yugi (YYGDM-01) roared, firing a concentrated magical blast that collided with Isfet. If that wasn't enough, Yugi (YYGDM-01) summoned the Winged Dragon of Ra and invoked its mighty divine power, which crushed Isfet.

Isfet was then quickly felled by the Moon duo. After Eternal Sailor Moon blasted him with a full-powered force from her Eternal Tiare, Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01) readied a sword and summoned Valkyrie-like body armor. With her sword, she carved an 'X'-shaped slash while at the same time unleashing a powerful holy wave.

"Moon Holy X-Slash!" Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01) cried out as her powerful attack cut through and obliterated Isfet, leaving nothing left of the Chaosastrum leader.

As for Hundun, his large size granted him a size and strength advantage but it also made him a rather large target. The Time Thieves, Sailor Star Healer, Dorothel, and Plutomon blasted and wore down the earth behemoth, taking out his massive legs while bringing him to his knees. Dorothel used her lightsaber to kneecap Hundun. Justimon and Monoryomon blasted through Hundun's body.

Finally, the Volodramon unleashed fiery waves from their bodies. While Volodramon collided head-on and cracked Hundun's face open, Volodramon (YYGDM-01) charged raw temporal energies in his claws and slashed Hundun with them.

"Temporal Exaflare!" Volodramon (YYGDM-01) dealt a damaging blow and shattered half of Hundun's earth face.

"Dead Scream." Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) obliterated Hundun's body.

Before Hundun could piece himself back together, Eternal Sailor Pluto intervened and summoned her Dark Dome Close, utilizing her temporal powers to seal the Earth Chaosastrum behind the Space-Time Door. As it closed, the entity's fate was ultimately sealed and never to resurface again.

Sho, Syrus (YYGDM-01), Manjoume, and Chazz (YYGDM-01)'s Duel Monsters helped to dispel Amatsumikaboshi's wind attacks. Amatsumikaboshi tried his best to fight back against the two Yusukes. As the Yusuke duo blasted him with sacred energies, they charged up their signature blast.

As Yusuke fired his, Yusuke (YYGDM-01) yelled out. "I hope you like a full course meal, you jerk! Spirit Gun!"

After having sacred spirit energies being crammed down his throat, Amatsumikaboshi was left open for Shaka to attack him with her Celestial Ōdachi. As Yui (YYGDM-01) came flying on ShadowMetalGarurumon (YYGDM-01)'s back, she readily brandished a claymore and turned into Shaka (YYGDM-01). Shaka (YYGDM-01) jumped off and dove into Amatsumikaboshi, slashing through him with her claymore.

With a swing from his Byakko Fang, Inumuramon unleashed a wave of armor-piercing blades. "Byakko's Bite!"

Brunhilde flew head-on with Amatsumikaboshi and slashed him relentlessly. David assisted the Valkyrie and stabbed the Wind Chaosastrum with his Gram.

After dispelling Amatsumikaboshi's demonic winds, Omegamon IM and Brunhilde Leviathan Mode attacked him.

With his MetalSeadramon head, Omegamon IM conjured and slashed through Amatsumikaboshi with his Dramon Sword. Then, Brunhilde Leviathan Mode (YYGDM-01) attacked him with quick blade strikes. Then, in a quick turn of events, Brunhilde LM (YYGDM-01)'s armor turned silver as she turned into her Silver Valkyrie mode. In her right hand, Silver Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) amassed a glowing spear and plunged it through Amatsumikaboshi.

"Shove this down your throat! Silver Gungnir!" Silver Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) finished Amatsumikaboshi with relentless force and wiped out his essence for good.

As the last Chaosastrum left, Tiamat fought back against her opponents as if her life depended on it. Despite her efforts, they were in vain thanks to the newcomers. Similarly, as Yugi (YYGDM-01) did, Jaden (YYGDM-01) invoked his Spirit Fusion ability and gained the appearance of Elemental Hero Neos and helped Judai's Elemental Hero Neos and a slew of other Elemental Heroes. The Elemental Heroes quickly crashed down on Tiamat and pummeled her.

Also using Spirit Fusion, Alexis (YYGDM-01) turned into Cyber Blader and assisted Asuka's Cyber Angel Vishnu and other Cyber Angel monsters. They all provided support and helped the Elemental Heroes attack Tiamat.

As the Duelists wore down Tiamat, Sailor Sedna, Perseus, and Prince Sedna launched an attack on the Water Chaosastrum. After Sedna pummeled Tiamat with her Icicle Spear Barrage, Perseus quickly cut off the back of Tiamat's tail and delivered fast slashing slashes with his sword. Once Perseus knocked her back with his Hope of Elpis beam, Prince Sedna caught her with his Ryuken Wave.

Once the trio delivered a beatdown, Sailor Sedna (DF-616/YYGDM-01) conjured similar icicles from her trident and launched them at Tiamat.

"Icicle Spear Barrage!"

Then, after the icicles collided with and damaged Tiamat, Angemon X (DF-616/YYGDM-01) put his hands together and fired a Ki beam. Once blasting her with his Finish Buster, the warrior readied his sword and delivered multiple sword strikes even faster than Perseus could ever perform. Then, Dramon X (XLR-8/YYGDM-01) dove past Angemon X (DF-616/YYGDM-01) and conjured a force beyond Prince Sedna's power.

"Ryuken Wave!" Dramon X (XLR-8/YYGDM-01) roared while knocking Tiamat back with his energy wave attack.

Then, Dukemon Crimson Mode and Guilkatomon (YYGDM-01) dove toward Tiamat, who was barely able to recover from the last barrage of attacks. Charging power into his hand, Dukemon CM unleashed Quo Vadis on Tiamat but not before Guilkatomon amassed a glowing red sphere in his hands.

"Hazard Wave!" Roared Guilkatomon, who sent and caught Tiamat with his destructive wave.

Letting out a fierce battle roar, Metalla X charged up his Final Flash and blasted Tiamat head-on with it.

Finally, the end came when Omegamon and Omega X (DF-616) double teamed on Tiamat. As Omegamon went into Merciful Mode, Omega X (DF-616)'s hair turned solid blue. Readying his Grey Sword and Garuru Cannon, Omegamon MM struck her with a multi-hit combo strike with his sword and froze her with Garuru Hou. Amassing a blue energy wave akin to a Kamehameha, Omega X (DF-616) then finished her off with his Tsunami Wave.

Just as soon as they arrived, and thanks to intervention from the newcomers, the Chaosastra came and went as their attack ended in less than half an hour.

After finishing off the Chaosastra, the heroes congregated and met with the newly arrived dimension crossers. They questioned how and why the newcomers arrived. The dimension crossers briefly explained they only arrived here to investigate other dimensions not connected to their omniverse. By pure chance, they picked a world similar to a dimension labeled YYGDM-01. To the dimension crossers' surprise, the dimension they arrived in is identified as Shin-YYGDM.

(Cue The Birthday Massacre - Parallel World)

Finding a place to themselves, Sailor Moon sat down and chatted with Sailor Moon (YYGDM-01), discussing their subtle and obvious similarities and differences. Upon learning of her older counterpart's achievements, Sailor Moon nodded in approval and smiled.

"Wow, so you fought so many more battles than I did. No wonder you're so strong! And this Zeed X guy sounded like quite a nightmare for you guys to beat!" Moon exclaimed.

"Yes, but you were pretty good out there yourself, Usagi. You showed me greater power than I did when I was your age," Moon (YYGDM-01) confessed.

"I've only been Sailor Moon over four years but I've come a long way."

Moon (YYGDM-01) sighed glumly. "To be young like you again but I've hardly changed appearance-wise."

"And that armor you used looked really cool! It reminds me of what the Valkyries of our world wore," Moon said.

"Yeah, my friends and I have these forms called Dai-Valkyrie forms and then we can turn them gold as well."

"Tell me. Have you already become queen yet?" Moon asked her YYGDM-01 counterpart.

Nodding, Moon (YYGDM-01) quickly answered. "Not yet, but I already had Chibiusa. So, that's a sure sign I'm set to take the throne. One day though, I will become queen."

"That's great."

"Yeah, Neo-Crystal Tokyo will be up when it's time."

Moon smiled. "That's great…" Then, she stopped mid-sentence when she realized what Moon (YYGDM-01) referred to her kingdom as and had a bewildered look on her face. "Uh, what? Neo-Crystal Tokyo? I thought it was just Crystal Tokyo?"

"It was, but I've decided it's going to be called Neo-Crystal Tokyo."

"Oh, yeah? Well, I just think that sounds kinda silly. Why not just call it Crystal Tokyo?"

"What do you call it in your dimension?"

Moon shrugged. "Just Crystal Tokyo. Nothing too complicated."

Moon (YYGDM-01) blinked as she nodded. A part of her felt stupid for even asking such an obvious question. "Oh, I see." In the back of her mind, she felt slightly put off by Moon questioning her choice to add 'Neo' to Crystal Tokyo, making it sound more pretentious than the concept of a future utopia ruled by Japan's greatest hero. What the heck is she even questioning like that for? And what's wrong with 'Neo'? Does it really sound that cheesy?! Well, she can criticize all she likes, I've made my choice! She smiled gleefully in her internal thoughts.

"Hey, are you ok?" Moon asked her YYGDM-01 self.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Listen, I hope things go well and don't let up. You're going great," Moon (YYGDM-01) encouraged her.

"Thanks, I appreciate the compliments," Moon replied, unsure whether her counterpart was put off by her comment. She hadn't realized Moon (YYGDM-01) didn't take her words too kindly about her idealized Crystal Tokyo.

On the other side of the Sailor Moons, Sailor Mars confronted her YYGDM-01 counterpart as they briefly talked about their experiences being 'Houou/Hōō' wielders.

"I can't believe I'm meeting another Hōō user, but you've been her vessel longer than I have!" Sailor Mars was astounded to learn about her other self's experiences.

"Yeah, it has been close to… what is it? Nearly nine years? Gosh, how time flies," Sailor Mars (YYGDM-01) said. "It's been a long time since I was just normal."

"And learning that your Houou was awakened when your sister was killed… oh, sorry I didn't mean to."

Mars (YYGDM-01) merely nodded. "It's fine. It's been such a long time and she was thankfully revived. Yeah, but that Houou power initially came at a price. It awakened coupled with my anger, causing Yami Houou to form and wreak havoc on everyone I knew and loved."

"But, you truly killed your dimensions' Rajita warlord."

"Yami Houou did. It might've been my hand who finished him, but I wasn't really there. Yami Houou hijacked my body against my will," Mars (YYGDM-01) looked down at her hand and shuddered. "It still haunts me just thinking about it."

Sailor Mars sighed, feeling remorse for her counterpart. "I'm just glad that hasn't happened to me."

"And keep it that way. You and the Hōō sounded like you had a rocky start, but you've been managing just fine."

"Thanks," Mars said. "Can I see your Houou? My Hōō wishes to interact with her."

"Sure," Mars (YYGDM-01) nodded as she invoked the Houou as the entity's fiery cloak formed over her.

At the same time, the Hōō enveloped itself over Sailor Mars. The Hōō and the Houou briefly made contact and interacted.

'It's intriguing to meet another variation of me. I see you still haven't regained your full power.' The Houou interacted with the Hōō.

The Hōō calmly responded. 'With time, my strength will be fully restored. Until then, I will continue to support Sailor Mars as my vessel. Our bond has grown stronger in these last few years.'

'That's good. Please keep that bond with your Sailor Mars.'

The Hōō added. 'Of course.'

Suddenly, Sailor Mars (YYGDM-01) spotted Hiei sitting on a rock behind Sailor Mars and smiled.

"I see things aren't too different with me here."

Sailor Mars blinked. "What do you mean?"

"Is that Hiei behind you?"

"Yes, but how did you know…"

Sailor Mars (YYGDM-01) chuckled and shook her head. "Because we're an item in our reality. We already have two kids together."

"What?! You both have kids?!" Sailor Mars exclaimed out loud that Hiei, who heard their conversation, face faulted in the background.

"Yeah, they're two beautiful children named Koori and Ryuuhi. They're the best things to happen to me besides finding my sister Cammy."

"Cammy? She's your younger sister?"

Sailor Mars (YYGDM-01) nodded. "Yes, and I became her legal guardian after I beat my father in court for child abuse."

Sailor Mars frowned. "I see we both don't have model citizen fathers."

"Tell me about it."

"Well, I'm an only child in this reality. If I had known I had a sister, I would've wanted to meet her. Gosh, after hearing your experiences, it's incredible what's happened to you. On the one hand, I'm not sure how I'd be able to manage a household with kids."

"I thought the same thing, but I got used to being a mom," Sailor Mars (YYGDM-01) winked. "It's hard work but totally worth it. And get this, my sister knows Usagi's brother. They've become so close that if they possibly get married, Usagi and I will become sisters-in-law." Realizing this, Mars (YYGDM-01) placed her hands on her cheeks. "Oh god, that's a scary thought. Me and Usagi as sisters-in-law. God, we used to bicker a lot, and we kinda still do, but we've calmed down and matured a lot since then."

Sailor Mars smiled. "So, you and Usagi are that close. Wow, if anything, I'm closer to Minako, who's currently going out with Kurama."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's those small details that set us apart."

"Well, based on what I've learned about you, you were a lot more mature and cool-headed than I was when I was younger. But, those hotheaded days are behind me."

"Of course, from what you also told me, I didn't go chasing boys and cling to Mamoru either. Up until I met Hiei, I was vehemently against trusting any man. And even with Hiei, it's been a mutual relationship."

Mars (YYGDM-01) scoffed. "Hey, no need to bring up my past. That was the old immature me. I'm better than that now."

"It's been a pleasure getting to know you, other me. I wish you and your family good fortune. And beat some sense to your father for me, ok?" Sailor Mars said as she and Mars (YYGDM-01) held hands.

"You don't even need to ask," Mars (YYGDM-01) replied, firmly shaking her other self's hand.

After sitting down and meeting Yugi, Yugi (YYGDM-01) was enthused to see his counterpart in a relationship with Anzu. Much to his shock, he learned the 'Tea' of this dimension has a different name altogether: Masaki Anzu. When Yugi (YYGDM-01) revealed Tea's name to Yugi and Anzu, they were both taken aback and confused.

Not too far from where the Yugis chatted, Judai and his friends interacted with their counterparts.

"So, let me get this straight? Your catchphrase is just 'Gothca'?" Jaden (YYGDM-01) asked Judai.

"Well, it's definitely not 'Get your game on!'" Judai chuckled amusedly.

"Which of our catchphrases is better?" Chaz (YYGDM-01) wondered.

"Manjoume Thunder has a much better ring than whatever the hell you thought of!, 'The Chazz!'" Manjoume verbally roasted his counterpart.

"What? 'Chazz it Up!' is lame? And hey, 'The Chazz' isn't too bad!" Chazz (YYGDM-01) blinked as he realized how silly it sounded compared to Manjoume's catchphrase. At that moment, the Ojamas appeared and expressed their approval of Judai's catchphrase. "Hey, you freakin' traitors! You're supposed to back me up!"

"Wow, so you and Mindy are going out?!" Syrus (YYGDM-01) exclaimed.

"Her name is Momoe and yeah we're dating," Sho said with confidence. "By the way, you call your friend, 'Jaden', bro and Jay. That sounds just like when I call Judai 'Aniki'."

"Aniki and bro sort of have the same meaning, Sho," Asuka clarified.

"So, how intimate are you with Judai, Asuka?" Alexis (YYGDM-01) asked her counterpart.

"Um, well… we've gotten very close," Asuka confessed. "Though, there's still the matter of Yubel being overprotective of him."

Alexis (YYGDM-01) folded her arms and nodded. "Uh-huh, right. And our brothers don't seem that different from each other. Outside our names being different, we aren't that different."

As she quietly nodded, Asuka watched her brother, Fubuki, and Sara interacting with Atticus (YYGDM-01) and Yasmin (YYGDM-01). During their discussion, Fubuki learned that Yasmin (YYGDM-01), unlike Sara, wasn't born a Duel Monster but rather was a former Duel Academy student who entered a forbidden ground and was captured by Gravekeepers, who then converted and changed her into the Gravekeeper's Assailant through a ritual. Sara, on the other hand, was merely a Duel Monster who met Fubuki.

"This Spirit Fusion ability looked intriguing. To think you and your friends could willfully turn into Duel Monsters is amazing," Yugi commented on Yugi (YYGDM-01), Jaden (YYGDM-01), and their friends' Spirit Fusion abilities.

"Yes, we got our powers from a source called the Staff of Apophis," Yugi (YYGDM-01) answered.

"Interesting. No such artifact exists in this dimension, but can you turn into any Duel Monster?"

"Well, no. For one thing, none of us can turn into any of the God monsters."

Yugi nodded. "I See. All this sounds intriguing, but I doubt I'd need such a power considering I have faith in my monsters to help me in battle."

"Right, so you're able to summon monsters outside of their virtual forms," Yugi (YYGDM-01) noted. "Well, Yugi, I'm happy for you and Anzu." He turned toward Anzu, who smiled and nodded.

"Likewise to you, too, other me."

Yugi (YYGDM-01) internally thought. Doesn't need Spirit Fusion? He's certainly confident in his own monsters. That's the 'Heart of the Cards' for you.

Elsewhere, the Tamers (Takato, Ryō, Kotori, and Himura) interacted with their YYGDM-01 counterparts. With a bewildered look on her face, Ruki watched her Takato chatting with Takato (YYGDM-01). She also noted Takato (YYGDM-01) not only slightly older but with a look of sadness in his eyes.

"I can't believe another me has two girlfriends!" Ryo (YYGDM-01) exclaimed in disbelief over Ryō's relationship with Dorothel and Alice. "And one of them is a Duel Monster, too!"

Ryō chuckled. "Yes, what can I say? These two love me very much."

Dorothel added. "And we love him in return and fight on his behalf."

"And it's surprising that you're here, Alice. We still haven't seen you in our world," Ryo (YYGDM-01) mentioned.

Alice smiled. "And what about you, other Ryo? Do you have a significant other in your world?"

Ryo (YYGDM-01) sighed and shook his head. "I'm afraid not."

"That's too bad," Ryō replied.

Ryo (YYGDM-01) frowned. "Yes, too bad indeed, other me." He then internally thought with some jealousy and pettiness. How the hell did this other me end up with two beautiful and cute ladies?! He's got more game than I do! The only acknowledgment I got from a girl was Rika when Justimon and I borrowed power from her and Renamon!

"What?! You mean, you and Kai are a couple?!" Takato (YYGDM-01) was flabbergasted upon learning Renamon's relationship with his counterpart's cousin. "Geez, wait until Inumon hears about…!"

Inumon (YYGDM-01) interjected. "I'm right here, Takato. I heard it all."

Himura (YYGDM-01) remarked. "Even I'm shocked to hear about this. Besides, we don't see Kai much in our world."

When Inumon (YYGDM-01) faced Renamon's way, he could only blush and look away. "Hello."

Renamon nodded. "I recognize my scent from you. How is the other me doing?"

Inumon (YYGDM-01) half-chuckled. "We're happy together and we have kits."

Renamon smirked. "I see. I'm glad to hear that."

"And I still can't get over the fact this world's Himura has a BlackGabumon for a partner!" Takato (YYGDM-01) chimed in.

"Yes, what a twist of fate that is. It's like our Yui trading her DarkGabumon over to Himura and ditching me. You know how wrong that sounds?" Inumon (YYGDM-01) grumbled. "Besides, DarkGabumon and I are still kind of rivals."

BlackGabumon tried to calm Inumon (YYGDM-01). "Listen, my friend. Perhaps you'd like to lie down? And about Himura's sister. She never became a Tamer in our world. She was recruited and trained to become the next Spirit Detective. She only has her spiritual powers."

Himura (YYGDM-01) sighed. "Speaking of, I'll need to find my Yui. I wonder how well she and her other self are getting along."

Ruki shrugged. "What can I say? Even I'm still trying to wrap my brain around Renamon and Kai being an item."

Himura quickly changed the subject. "So, you guys have access to these special spirits called Beast Spirits?"

Takato keenly noted. "Suzaku, Seiryu, Byakko, and Genbu. Those sound like the Auspicious Beasts we met a few months back in Athens!"

Guilmon recalled. "That's right! The Auspicious Beasts were huge, weren't they?"

Guilmon (YYGDM-01) chimed in. "Auspicious Beasts?"

Takato answered his partner's YYGDM-01 counterpart. "Yeah, they're cosmic spirits who've been around for a long time since before humans existed, I think."

"Well, you guys only just met our Beast Spirits," Takato (YYGDM-01) said as he revealed his Beast Spirit, Suzaku (YYGDM-01). "Unlike you guys, we're able to fight alongside our partners and become Beast Tamers. When Suzaku and I merge, we become Suzakato."

Suzaku (YYGDM-01) bowed. 'Hello, it's good to meet alternate versions of other Tamers.'

"Whoa, that's Suzaku!" Takato exclaimed.

"And here's Byakko," Himura (YYGDM-01) invoked the aforementioned white tiger spirit.

"Incredible, you guys have Digimon and spirits of the sacred beasts!" Himura cried out.

Himura (YYGDM-01) spoke up. "Yes, and when Byakko's spirit merges with me, we become Himakko."

"Yeah, and when you combine with Seiryu, your counterpart becomes Seirika," Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) addressed Ruki.

"Seirika, huh? Sounds neat," Ruki smirked.

"Then, when Henry merges with Genbu, they become Genbu. And of course, when Ouryu's spirit bonds with me, we become Oryo," Ryo (YYGDM-01) revealed the golden dragon spirit Ouryu. "All five of us form the Beast Tamers."

"Suzakato, Himakko… sounds gimmicky but pretty cool," Takato smiled and nodded in approval. "But, I'll be honest I still can't get over your Jianliang being called 'Henry'. Sounds too westernized for a Chinese person even with the 'Wong' added with it."

"And me being called Rika Nonaka? Your world is so weird," Ruki asserted.

"Not as weird as a human and a Digimon paired together, but I digress," Himura (YYGDM-01) remarked as he turned toward Brunhilde (YYGDM-01), who was seen interacting with Kotori, Brunhilde, and David.

"So, on top of you not being a Valkyrie, but the Brunhilde of this world is the Duel Monster version?" Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) asked Kotori.

"That's right. I'm just a Tamer, but I'm impressed you're both a Tamer and a Valkyrie!" Kotori said enthusiastically. "And our hair colors are different, too. Likewise for our Himuras."

"Oh, my hair is darker blue when I'm out of my Valkyrie state," Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) informed Kotori.

Brunhilde interjected. "Yes, but Sigrun and I were both reincarnated into Duel Monster Valkyries. Then, we later gained civilian identities. I became Reina and Sigrun took on the name Natalie as we completed our transition into civilian life."

"That's really something else," Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) noted, noticing that Kotori seemed a lot happier being in a relationship with Himura. Brunhilde (YYGDM-01), later reincarnated into Kotori Ayami, only became acquainted with Himura (YYGDM-01) in a Digital World called the Digital Underworld and became close friends with him despite some misunderstandings. She never got the chance to form a relationship beyond friendship and died sacrificing herself while saving Himura (YYGDM-01) from a fatal attack by an evil serpent named Basiliskmon. She died only to later be revived into a Valkyrie. In this reality, neither the Digital Underworld and Basiliskmon exist. Based on what she learned from the other Kotori, she and Himura met through different circumstances. "So, then you and Himura truly are a couple?"

Hearing this, a smile formed on Kotori's face. "Yes, we are. Besides being police partners, we're a couple."

Clenching her left fist tightly, Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) hid her frustration and sadness behind a smile. "I see." if things had turned out differently and I hadn't died, I can just imagine Himura and I together now instead of Jeri being with Himura and me dating Kouichi! Guess this shows that you don't always get everything out of life. I should resent the other me for having Himura, but I can't!

"By the way, that weapon is Gram, isn't it?" Himura (YYGDM-01) pointed to David's weapon.

"It is, but how did you know?"

"In my world, Kotori is Brunhilde's reincarnation and I'm Siegfried's. Though, my Gram now belongs to Alec."

Upon hearing this, David gasped. "Alec? There's an Alec in your world?"

"Yeah, and he's in a relationship with another Valkyrie named Sigrun. Though, her civilian name is Kara Summers."

David nodded. "I see. What a coincidence. Our Alecs are in relationships with different Sigruns. Our Sigrun is named Natalie."

"We're learning so much about each other. This has made for some deep and interesting conversations, huh?" Takato asked his YYGDM-01 self, who glumly nodded. "Are you ok? You look sad."

"Yeah, don't worry. I'm just trying to process everything in your world, Takato," Takato (YYGDM-01) replied, concealing his sadness and deep jealousy for his counterpart's seemingly brighter and stable life. Compared to his counterpart, Takato was 'squeaky clean' outside of the Megidramon incident where Takato (YYGDM-01) has been riddled with tons of more emotional baggage that has built and deconstructed his character along the way. Moreover, Takato (YYGDM-01) deeply yearned for that normal lifestyle. When he saw Takato, he saw a normal teenage hero and not some all-important key figure. This Takato seemed less important but still a crucial part of the hero dynamics. Takato (YYGDM-01) felt for the longest time that his universe turned him into its own 'whipping boy' after going through depressive states and having villains manipulate his inner darkness for their own needs. On two separate occasions, he was turned into a tool for villains to use against the heroes.

As Takato (YYGDM-01) watched Takato laughing with his friends, he gnashed his teeth and growled. This is the normal life I've wanted! No bad guys manipulating me! No depressive periods! Suzaku, we could've had all this! All it took was us stopping Yami Houou's rampage and to do that, we had to kill our Sailor Mars! And then for a while, some of her peers lost trust in us. It took us a while to restore their trust in us! And don't get me started when you briefly sacrificed yourself for me, Suzaku! My life's been an uphill battle. I'm just surprised my friends, especially my Rika, have been able to put up with me! And now I see this Takato. I see he has his life in check and hasn't fallen that dark path as I have!

"Hey, other me. Are you alright?" Takato asked Takato (YYGDM-01). "You've been staring at me like you wanted to say something?"

Chuckling, Takato (YYGDM-01) answered. "Nothing. Just make sure you stay on the right path and don't let any bad guys get in your head. Take it from me. I've been down that road and I don't want it to happen again."

Taking heed of Takato (YYGDM-01)'s heartfelt advice, Takato nodded. "Sure, whatever you say."

Guilmon approached Guilmon (YYGDM-01). "Is your Takato always this down?"

Guilmon (YYGDM-01) nodded. "Not all the time, but he's been through a lot of rough times. But, me and Suzaku have never given up on him."

"And Ruki, make sure Takato here stays out of trouble. I trust you can do that?" Takato (YYGDM-01) asked her.

"Of course, I always keep him in line," Ruki replied.

"Good," Takato (YYGDM-01) sighed.

"One more thing. That Guilkatomon form kicks butt. How were you able to achieve that?" Takato asked his YYGDM-01 counterpart.

"A lot of training and vitamins, but honestly? It also came through my bond with Suzaku and Guilmon. Together, we created the perfect Biomerger: Advanced Biomerging. Himura showed you he's capable of that. My Rika and Henry can do it, too. I don't know if you guys are capable of that here, but if not just work with what you have," Takato (YYGDM-01) informed them about his experience with his latest method of Biomerging.

"When we're Guilkatomon, hardly anyone can beat us!" Guilmon (YYGDM-01) boasted.

"Wow, really?!" Guilmon cheerfully exclaimed.

"After what we saw, I can believe it," Himura added.

"Well, that's not quite true. We've won some but we lost a few fights," Takato (YYGDM-01) said. "But, all that matters is that we're still alive to talk to you guys about it."

"Tell me about it. Between your world's Charon and Millenniummon, and now this Zeed X character. Seems you guys had it a lot rougher than I thought," Ryō stated.

"Just be glad your world was never sought by those three, especially Zeed X. Besides, you already have your own Charon and Millenniummon to worry about," Ryo (YYGDM-01) added.

"You bet we'll be ready when those two show their faces again," Takato reaffirmed everyone's stance on Paradius.

Good. We believe you guys can handle them," Takato (YYGDM-01) said.

In another section of the park, Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) and Volodramon (YYGDM-01) briefed them about the Source and how the Shin-YYGDM somehow exists outside the separate dimensional layer outside the Source's jurisdiction.

"So, you were also in a long conflict with your Charon? Why am I not surprised?" Sailor Pluto said with anger and grit in her tone.

"And I see she mentally scarred you, other me. You'll have another chance to finish her as I already did," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) said.

"The next I see that 'thing', I will eliminate it," Pluto disparaged her evil twin sister without even acknowledging her name.

"And somehow in this dimension, those two operate as 'Paradius' instead of Paradais. Very intriguing details," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) said.

Volodramon queried. "Follow me up here. How is it our dimension doesn't exist in this omniverse where this 'Source' oversees everything?"

"It's the Overseer who sees everything within this omniverse. We thought every known dimension was structured within it, but it seems there exists outside layers with separate realities such as yours," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) informed their counterparts. "For instance, my Charon used her power to absorb every known Sailor Charon/Sharon Rivers within the omniverse, except for one, who was an unlikely ally for us for the time. The fact your Sailor Charon/Sharon Rivers still exists tells me this dimension was safe from Omniversal Chaos' reach. She didn't know your Shin-YYGDM dimension existed."

"And it was very likely very far from her reach. I know it took us some time to find your world," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) said. "We also discovered other realities in this layer but we elected to leave them be."

"So, tell us what makes your dimension so special," Sailor Pluto curiously wondered.

"Our dimension for a time was linked with two others. Do you know those two Super Saiyan Taichi and Yamato? They came from another dimension called DF-616. And the Gundam-looking man you also saw? He hails from dimension XLR-8. There was a time when several dimension-crossing villains attacked our realities. This prompted our three dimensions to form an alliance called the Triad," the YYGDM-01 Time Guardian entailed the other Pluto and Volodramon.

"My word, a three-dimension alliance? That sounds like quite a force to be reckoned with. I wish we had known about you all sooner," Volodramon said.

"Well, those days are starting to put behind us. Our last enemy, Zeed X, made contact with The Source and made a wish by placing a curse on our dimension. We've been cursed to become an 'apex dimension'," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) stated.

Hearing this, Sailor Pluto had a befuddled look on her face. "An 'apex dimension'? Please clarify."

"We've been given an elite status if you will. Dimension YYGDM-01 was made so it stands above all others in this omniverse. As a result, our access to other dimensions has been limited. We can't even cross over into the DF-616 and XLR-8 dimensions. And considering most of the damage to the omniverse was indirectly caused by us, the Overseer has elected to keep Dimension YYGDM-01 an isolated reality. We were only granted this last dimension crossing adventure because we heard about another reality similar to ours," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) said.

"So, once you leave here this will be the last time you'll be able to cross other dimensions?" Volodramon asked.

"For the foreseeable future, but it looks like Zeed X has made it so that dimension crossing for us is made near impossible. Only dimension crossing officers like our Ryo and Sailor Sedna are given any permission to move in between dimensions because it's literally their job titles," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) replied.

"That's rough to hear. I'm sorry," Sailor Pluto apologetically said on their behalf.

"You needn't apologize, other me. You didn't know what we've been through," Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) smiled.

"Since you mentioned Sailor Sedna, our Sedna isn't a dimension crosser like yours. And yet yours is?" Volodramon mentioned.

"That's correct. She can cross dimensions like our Ryo can and there have been many Karin Osakas that exist in our omniversal layer. Hell, there's even a Karin Osaka in dimension XLR-8," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) revealed.

"This is quite a lot to take in, no offense. And I've traveled through time and space myself!" Volodramon nodded.

Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) added. "We understand these details are a lot to absorb. I don't expect you to remember everything, but we wanted to be sure you knew what we experienced before coming here."

"That would explain why you and your group are so strong. The Chaosastra didn't stand a chance once you arrived," Sailor Pluto said. "Thank you for helping us."

Both Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) and Volodramon (YYGDM-01) bowed their heads. "It's our pleasure." However, deep down, both had internal resentment for Zeed X's meddling that has resulted in YYGDM-01 becoming isolated from other realities. Both hoped after today they could visit the Shin-YYGDM dimension again but those chances are now nil thanks to the Overseer's law.

"Wow, so, I'm a dimension crosser in your world?" Sailor Sedna asked her YYGDM-01 counterpart.

"Yeah, but the job is not easy. Consider yourself lucky you have more free time than I do," Sedna (YYGDM-01) said.

"I also find it cool that our teams are no different. The same names and everything. What a coincidence," Sedna enthusiastically said.

"And who knew I'm talking to a clone version of the other me," Kensuke addressed Dramon X (XLR-8), who sat on a bench while scanning peacefully over the calm environment. "So, is it true the real you is asleep in some chamber?"

"Yeah, he's resting now, but once he's awake, my mind will merge with us and he'll have these memories. He will definitely remember meeting you, other me," Dramon X (XLR-8) informed Kensuke. As he looked the other way, he saw Sailor Orcus walking beside Kensuke and holding his hand.

"Oh my, who's the Gundam-looking guy?" Sailor Orcus asked Kensuke.

"Would you believe another me from a different reality?" Kensuke answered her.

"No way! Really?! How cool!" Sailor Orcus gasped as she waved to Dramon X (XLR-8). "Hi, I'm Sailor Orcus. Pleased to meet you!"

As he looked at Sailor Orcus, Dramon X (XLR-8)'s eyes suddenly brimmed with tears as he turned away. Unable to look at her, he was reminded of his Orcus, who last saw her when the real Dramon (XLR-8) was placed in his sleeping chamber.

"Um, hey, are you ok?" Sailor Orcus asked him.

Sailor Sedna (YYGDM-01) and Angemon X (DF-616) quietly watched Dramon X (XLR-8) trying to hold back tears. They neglected to mention their Sailor Orcus as to not worry their counterparts.

While holding back his tears, Dramon X (XLR-8) internally had resentful thoughts. No, no, NO! This other me has a completely normal life without all the baggage and unfair treatment that life has dealt me?! If GranDracmon never placed that fucking curse on me and if Zeed X destroy my reputation, would this my ideal life? Just me and Christina living life without some bad guy trying to destroy me?! This is the life I've long wanted and to see another me have it… I should hate him for it, but I can't. I should be happy for him and his Christina. I should also be happy for this other Sailor Sedna! They have better livelihoods!

Clenching his fists, Dramon X (XLR-8) shook and palmed his own face. This is unfair! GranDracmon! Zeed X! You denied me a peaceful existence! I would gladly give up all this power I've gained just for peace… just to be with my Christina! Just so I can see my parents again! Hell, this other me still has his parents around to see! ME?! THEY'RE GONE FROM MY LIFE! THEY SHOULD BE HERE TO SEE ME AND CHRISTINA TOGETHER!

"Hey, are you ok, man?" Kensuke asked Dramon X (XLR-8), who lifted his head and turned around. "You're starting to worry us here."

"...sorry, but I've had a lot on my mind. Listen, don't take life for granted. Be happy with what you have. You have a family. You found your long-lost sister. And you found the ideal woman in your life. Don't ever make any deals with devils. They'll find ways to take it all away in exchange for more power. Take it from me. While I didn't bargain with devils, I became cursed and ultimately I paid the price. I don't want you to do the same, Kensuke Rainer."

Taking heed of his other self's advice, Kensuke nodded. "Sure, whatever you say, man."

I hope you'll take what I said seriously, other me. I don't want you to throw it all away for more power. Don't even get tempted by the devils of your world. DON'T FALL DOWN THE SAME PATH I TOOK! IT'S NOT FUCKING WORTH IT!

"Brother," Sedna (YYGDM-01) whispered as she walked over and leaned on Dramon X (XLR-8)'s back shoulder. "It's going to be ok."

"Tell me. Are you a Super Saiyan or something like that other Taichi and Yamato?" Perseus asked Angemon (DF-616).

"Yes, but we're not Saiyans. We're Ascendants. This is the result of our Crests being imbued with an ancient warrior's life force and merging with our Digimon partners," Angemon X (DF-616) said.

"I find it mind-boggling that you're Yamato and Mimi's son from the future. I'm in no way related to the Yamato of my world, but we are acquainted," Perseus said. When he turned the other way, he saw Metalla X (DF-616) standing with arms crossed under a tree's shading. As he smiled, Perseus added calmly. "But, it's really cool to know another me is so incredibly strong he's been able to save his future."

"Well, sadly my future is gone, but I'm living happily with my Karin. We even have our future daughter visiting us," Angemon X (DF-616) said.

"Karin and I would love to visit your current home," Perseus said.

"Never say never, but you two are more than welcome," Angemon X (DF-616) nodded in approval to his counterpart's wishes.

Elsewhere, and with Hiei observing from a distance, Yusuke and Yui chatted with their YYGDM-01 counterparts. Upon learning the similarities and differences between each other, Yusuke and Yui realized their other selves are no different from them. In fact, outside of experience, Yusuke (YYGDM-01) is almost identical to his other self. Both are half-demons, have already married their Keikos, and have been succeeded by their Yuis.

However, Yusuke was flabbergasted when he learned one key difference between them.

"Wow, you two already have a kid?!" Yusuke exclaimed.

"Yep, and we called him Raizen Jr.! We also call him RJ for short," Yusuke (YYGDM-01) added proudly.

"Nice. Hey, you just gave me an idea if Keiko and I have a boy."

"Anyway, I heard you guys dealt with your Arago?"

"Yep, we fought in the Taiyōkai War, beat an army of demons, and defeated Arago. It wasn't easy I tell ya!" Yusuke said.

"I have no doubts, but I can't believe your Arago was Enma's brother."

"Was he Enma's brother in your world?"

Yusuke (YYGDM-01) nodded. "No, he was an ancient Taiyoukai along with the Demon Priests and the Taiyoukai Eight. They were ancient Super S-Class demons, and all of them hella tough as shit! It took Yui becoming a Tenyou named Shaka and me to bring Arago down."

"Huh, if I recall, Taiyōkai was just a title name for Arago and his group. They weren't 'Taiyoukai' like you described," Yusuke said.

"I'm surprised there were other strong demons you guys faced."

"Yeah, Ōtakemaru, Shuten-dōji, and Tamamo-no-Mae. Would you believe Ōtakemaru is Raizen's brother and my ancestral uncle? Shuten was Hiei's father and Tamamo was Yoko Kurama's mother."

"Geez, talk about family reunions. And they're all gone?"

"Yep, along with Arago. It was a hell of a war," Yusuke said, sharing his recent war story with his YYGDM-01 counterpart. "Oh, and how could I forget about those Anti-Demon fanatics?"

"Anti-Demon fanatics?"

Yusuke nodded. "Yeah, we put those jerks away before Koenma and Botan recruited Yui. Want to know who was part of them? One of the Spirit Defense Force jerks."

"I knew I never liked those guys. Feh, well we haven't faced Anti-Demon fanatics, but if we do, we'll take care of them."

Yusuke gave him a thumbs up. "I know you will, man."

Once getting to know his other self, Yusuke (YYGDM-01) felt bad for falling behind in not resolving the Anti-Demon fanatics conflict and preparing for a likely Taiyoukai War scenario if his world's Arago returns.

Yusuke, you gotta step up your game because this other you and his gang are already ahead of the curve! Yusuke internally chastised himself.

"Wait, there's a letter difference between our title names. I'm a Tennyo and you're a Tenyou. My name has an extra 'n' and yours has just one 'n' but a 'u' at the end," Yui pointed out the differences in their names.

Yui (YYGDM-01) then showed off her claymore. "And our weapons are different. You wield an ōdachi and I have this claymore. So, you care to trade?"

Yui chuckled. "No way, my ōdachi is not up for trade!"

Yui (YYGDM-01) sighed. "Darn. Oh well. By the way, you don't have a Digimon partner as I do."

"No, but my brother has a BlackGabumon. You have a DarkGabumon?" Yui said as she looked up at ShadowMetalGarurumon. "But, interesting yours is named ShadowMetalGarurumon. Himura's is a BlackMetalGarurumon."

Yui (YYGDM-01) smiled. "We're learning a lot of egregious and subtle things about each other. This is the first time I've met a different version of me before. By the way, you mentioned your Tennyo predecessor?"

"Yeah, her name is Suzuka Gozen," Yui formed a glowing spirit orb, which showed the aforementioned Tennyo kunoichi.

"Wow, she's gorgeous," Yui (YYGDM-01) gleamed over Suzuka Gozen's appearance. "You showed me your predecessor, now let me show you mine. Allow me to introduce you to Lady Kagura." With that, she forged a similar spirit orb as it displayed a fair-skinned woman with back-length golden brown hair and green eyes. Shrouded in a golden sheen of light, Kagura has on a white, blue, and yellow ceremonial robe. Purple scratch-like marks are seen embellished on her cheeks.

"She's beautiful," Yui remarked, finding herself enamored by Yui (YYGDM-01)'s Tenyou predecessor.

"Isn't she?" Yui (YYGDM-01) concurred with her counterpart's sentiments. "She fought Arago in my dimension "

"Suzuka Gozen was a kunoichi. What was Kagura?"

"A priestess and a monk," Yui (YYGDM-01) answered. "Although our predecessors came from different backgrounds, they both fought Arago."

"You're right. I think we can both agree we've made our predecessors proud," Yui said as she and her counterpart complimented each other.

Taichi & Agumon and Yamato & Gabumon interacted with Omega X (DF-616), who told them all about his adventures and battles leading up to today's encounter. Taichi was astounded to learn his Ascendant counterpart met other Taichis.

"Man, you met other versions of me?! And there's a multiverse of other dimensions some of which have versions of me living in them?" Taichi frantically asked Omega X (DF-616).

"That sounds unsettling," Yamato remarked.

"Heh, believe me, there are other versions of you, too, Yamakins," Omega X (DF-616) winked.

"I HEARD THAT!" Metalla X (DF-616) barked in the distance, causing Omega X (DF-616) to flinch.

"Man, so Yamato is like Vegeta in your world. Hikari and Takeru are like Gohan. A BanchoLeomon is Piccolo. Mimi is sorta like Bulma. Then, based on you turning your hair gold and blue, you already fought your versions of Freeza, Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, Goku Black & Zamasu, and Jiren. Wow, I never thought I'd met a Goku version of me."

"Tell me about it, Taichi! This is so cool!" Agumon was enthused by Omega X (DF-616)'s presence.

"Don't forget about Zeed X. That guy was something else and he was the guy responsible for wreaking havoc on the omniverse. He was the most powerful villain we've fought up to this point. Be glad your dimension never had to deal with him," Omega X (DF-616) said.

"Based on how you described, I'm thankful, too. That guy sounded like a complete psychopath," Taichi concurred.

"Yeah. You look really enthused to meet me, Taichi."

"No duh. This is the first time I'm meeting another version of me!"

"And me, too! Though, the other me is fused with you," Agumon told Omega X (DF-616).

Omega X (DF-616) nodded. "I reacted the same way when I met the other versions of me, too."

"Did you also tell them that this dimension's Taichi was never affected like the others since dimension SHIN-YYGDM exists outside The Source's jurisdiction?" Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) interjected into their conversation.

"Oh, yeah! How could I forget mentioning that?" Omega X (DF-616) chuckled modestly.

"What?" Taichi was befuddled.

"Yes, your dimension has no connections to our omniverse. It exists outside it along with a few others we recently discovered," Volodramon (YYGDM-01) stated.

"Oh? Well, thanks for telling me," Taichi responded with befuddlement.

"So, I know you and the others had some troublesome bad guys here, including some Rajita invasion and you even helped them fight some ancient Titans and monsters," Omega X (DF-616) briefed with Taichi.

"Yeah, and then there's the Paradius duo. We almost had them beat, but those cowards slipped away! I desperately wanted to finish Millenniummon since he was responsible for all the horrible events in our lives lately, including creating and spreading that virus that affected our Digimon. And it was him that created that Dark Gennai, who caused us an equal amount of pain. I swear if I see Millenniummon again, he and Charon are going to get it!" Taichi angrily gritted his teeth and clenched his right hand tight.

Omega X (DF-616) smiled and patted Taichi's shoulder. "Listen, Taichi. I fought many horrible enemies. Each of them was worse than the next. Some attacked those close to me and I wanted to get my hands on them. You know who helped me beat them?"

"Your friends?"

"Now you're talking, but without them, I wouldn't have found my inner strength."

"But, I can't turn Ascendant like you can. That's why you were able to beat your enemies."

"Yeah, I can only fuse with Gabumon and become Omegamon! We can't create Ascendants like you," Agumon said.

"Who says you two need to? You both have courage. Use that as your power. Millenniummon and Charon both lack that trait, which gives you your strength. They won't know what'll hit them. And even if they're watching us now, I'm sure they're worried that their 'End of Days' scheme may not go as they hoped."

"Alright, other me. Thanks, I needed the pep talk."

Agumon patted Taichi's back and smiled. "We both needed it."

"Come together with your friends and allies, beat the Paradius duo, and go establish your future."

Taichi raised a clenched hand and smiled. "Well, I already plan to be an ambassador for human and Digimon relations."

Agumon lifted his left claw. "And I'll be with Taichi every step along the way!"

"That's great. Go and be that, Yagami Taichi," Omega X (DF-616) smiled proudly. "As far as I'm concerned, your dimension is already ok in my book." As Omega X (DF-616) and Taichi fist-bumped each other, Yamato & Gabumon and Metalla X (DF-616) quietly watched them.

"So, I take it you met my future son?" Metalla X (DF-616) asked Yamato.

"Yep, and one word: awkward."

When it was said and done, the interactions between the heroes and their guests began and ended. It was time for the YYGDM-01/DF-616/XLR-8 heroes to depart.

Sailor Sedna (YYGDM-01) opened a portal for the group. "Are we ready to go?"

"Yes, is everyone here?" Sailor Pluto (YYGDM-01) asked everyone in their party.

"We're all here," Takato (YYGDM-01) said.

As some of the YYGDM-01 group members turned the other way, they faced their counterparts. In their minds, this could very well be the last time both sides meet again. Perhaps, this is the only moment.

Facing Takato again, Takato (YYGDM-01) had a crestfallen look on his face, but not out of spite for his other self. His disappointment was derived from the fact he'll never have a simpler lifestyle.

The other me really doesn't feel all-important in the grand scheme like me, but in some ways, that's a good thing. That'll make him less of a target for other dimension threats. Well, other me. I hope you, Ruki, and the others enjoy the rest of your lives. Because I so wish for the simpler times again. You reminded me of how good things were… geez, listen to myself. It sounds like I want to live in the past and forget all the bad stuff that's changed me. Maybe I rather live in the past. Takato (YYGDM-01) internally thought as he glumly waved to Takato, Guilmon, and the others.

"Bye!" Guilmon (YYGDM-01) waved to his counterpart.

"Take care, other me!" Sailor Moon called out to her YYGDM-01 counterpart.

"Thanks," Moon (YYGDM-01) replied with a bittersweet tone. Meeting her just reminded me that the time to form Neo-Crystal Tokyo draws closer. Regardless of what happens, it's long overdue. I want to keep everyone I know and love safe from the outside world. My Silver Crystal can protect us.

Jaden (YYGDM-01) waved goodbye to Judai and his friends. "Take care, you guys!" As he lowered his hand, he internally thought. Maybe I should ditch that whole 'Get your game on' and go with 'Gotcha!'? Hmm, tempting as it is, but I'll stick with my catchphrase.

Yugi (YYGDM-01) faced Yugi and Anzu one last time. Farewell, other me. Even if you've only mentioned the 'Heart of the Cards' just once, I won't stop saying it. Let us both continue to believe in our cards and friends.

Brunhilde (YYGDM-01) waved goodbye to Kotori, Himura, and their closest friends. So, the other me and her Himura are truly together. Man, what could've been if I hadn't died. Oh well, what can you do? I have my own life ahead of me and Kouichi waiting for me.

Dramon X (XLR-8) sadly watched Kensuke, Sailor Orcus, Sailor Sedna, and Perseus standing together. As he raised a hand, he stopped himself and sighed. They've got a good life going now. It's too bad I'm not with my Christina… who even knows where she is now. But, most of all, the other me has a stabler life than I. I honestly hope he stays that way. I'm just not sure if I'll ever see happiness again… we'll see once I wake up and bring my Christina to her senses for our sake.

Omega X (DF-616) gave a thumbs up to Taichi. "Take care, other me! And remember what we talked about!"

Before going through the portal, the YYGDM-01 group was also internally aware that their Shin-YYGDM counterparts will find a way to resolve their Defiants conflict possibly sooner than theirs. As a result, they became bitter over the fact they haven't resolved all of their ongoing conflicts. Their story hasn't been fully completed yet.

As the guests went through the portal, Sailor Sedna (YYGDM-01) turned and bowed to the heroes.

"Take care, everyone," Sedna (YYGDM-01) smiled as she was the last to jump through the portal.

"Goodbye, other me. Wow, she's so cool," Sailor Sedna remarked, being awestruck by her YYGDM-01 counterpart being a dimension crosser and guardian.

"Hey, Takato, do you think we'll see them again?" Guilmon asked his Tamer.

"I don't know, Guilmon, but I hope so."

Judai casually smirked. "Maybe we can visit them?"

Sailor Pluto nodded. "Perhaps after their dimension is open again. If that happens, there's always a chance we can enter their world."

Sailor Moon added. "I hope that's the case. I want to see the other me again."

Facing the area where the dimension door closed, Taichi recalled his interactions with Omega X (DF-616) to heart. "I think you speak for us all, Sailor Moon. I hope we can see the Triad again. All we can do now is continue to fight for our own reality's peace and defeat Paradius. Paradius's time is coming. The 'End of Days' will be their last days."

Far Future

Escaping from an unexpected attack from an enemy force, a group of survivors fled and narrowly evaded them. Catching up with the group is a teenage girl with long brown hair garbed in a pink jacket, torn blue jeans, and blue tennis shoes. Her face is covered with dirt. Her heart raced as she ran along with a group of maidens.

Each of these maidens is seen in Sailor Senshi garb, except for one. Among these young women is a lady with pink hair and long 'pigtails' hanging from a pair of hair buns. The pink-haired woman is seen wearing a dirty light brown shirt with a brown vest over it, dark gray pants, and dark brown boots.

Turning around, the pink-haired woman, with a pair of small glasses on the bridge of her nose, grabbed the brunette-haired teenager's hand.

"C'mon, Athena!"

"But, my queen!" The teenager called out as the pink-haired woman pulled her forward.

"We can't stop for anything! We have to get you out of here!" As she said this, a stray blast exploded behind them, almost knocking them out of course of their path.

As the two women reached a safe distance and met with the other, they stopped to catch their breath.

"Did we lose them, Queen Serenity?" One of the Sailor Senshi, a girl with long, back-length orange hair and a notable pair of fox ears, asked the pink-haired woman.

"I think so."

"That's a relief. Now we can send Athena to the past," another Sailor Senshi, a girl with long sea green hair and red eyes, stated, handing Queen Serenity her Time Key.

Grasping the Time Key, Queen Serenity smiled. "Using this again brings back memories."

"Please, won't all of you come with me?" Athena asked them.

"Your mother and father didn't die just so you can back out of this, Athena," another Sailor Senshi, a girl with short light purple hair, reminded her of her mission.

"Only one of us has to do this. We'll hold off the interlopers," another Sailor Senshi, a girl with green hair tied in a ponytail, added with a resolute look.

There were four other Sailors: another pink-haired girl, a redhead girl, a green-haired girl, and a cyan-haired girl.

"If our queen has faith in you, then we, the Sailor Quartet, have faith in you as well," the pink-haired girl said, placing her hopes on Athena.

After invoking her Time Key's power, Queen Serenity opened a portal of pink light for Athena. As she stood between a portal between timelines, Athena closed her eyes and deeply sighed. She wasn't prepared for what was set to be the most important task in her life.

"Get ready, Athena Uchida-Osaka," Queen Serenity nodded.

"You should go, my queen. They'll recognize you better."

Nodding, Queen Serenity smiled softly. "No, you must. As queen, I cannot leave this battle. It's my duty as a Sailor Senshi."

Shaking her head, Athena turned toward each of Queen Serenity's guardians. "Sailor Blue Mars, Sailor Tamamo Venus, Sailor Cyber Mercury, Sailor Battle Jupiter, Sailor Ceres, Sailor Vesta, Sailor Juno, and Sailor Pallas, I won't forget all of you. Between you all training me and our bonds, I won't fail you."

Sailor Blue Mars nodded. "My brother didn't sacrifice himself just so we could escape."

Sailor Cyber Mercury added. "And the same goes for my brother. Even all of his battle armors weren't enough to stop these foes."

"You've got this, Athena. Remember all we taught you," Sailor Ceres said.

Nodding, Athena turned and faced the portal. Before she could step through, another explosion erupted near them. The group turned as two obscured figures descended with a group of machines behind them.

"Great, they found us with their Meklords!" Sailor Juno alarmed the group.

As her fingernails glowed with pink light, Queen Serenity transformed into Sailor Moon and readied her scepter.

"Go now, Athena! This will be our final battle!" The pink-haired woman beckoned the teenager into the portal.

"But…" Shaking her head, Athena conjured a pink energy sword. "I wish to fight with you! I can't abandon you!"

"Heheh found you!" A voice belonging to one of the shadowy figures chimed in. Then, she stepped through the veil of smoke and revealed herself to all. It was Sailor Charon.

"It didn't take us and these Meklords we've repurposed long to find you," the other shadow figure added, revealing himself to be the Prophet. "We also didn't travel from the past just to leave you all alive."

"You have to go, Athena! Please! Find the younger me in Crystal Tokyo and tell her everything! She and the others need to know what's coming! The Defiants, the countless wars… these two already meddling with other timelines!" Sailor Moon called out. "It's all on you to inform them!"

"That's ok because none of you are leaving here alive," Sailor Charon chortled as she beckoned their Meklord servants to attack the Sailors.

As the Sailors fought off the Meklords, Athena prepared to attack one Meklord, but Sailor Moon fired a beam that knocked the teenager straight into the portal.

"QUEEN SERENITY!" Athena cried out as the portal closed up.

"She's not going to make any difference. Once we get back to our time, we'll eliminate her on sight," the Prophet chortled.

"Not until she meets my younger self and the others. They'll be ready for your 'End of Days'!" Sailor Moon boldly declared while her Sailor Senshi swiftly defeated the Meklords, but all of them were worn out.

"Then, let us end this timeline's suffering!" The Paradius duo declared as they unleashed a dark wave of energy that swept through, erasing everything in the vicinity, including the future Sailor Senshi.

Closing her eyes, Sailor Moon resigned to her fate. Looks like I'll be joining you, Pluto… and mom, even though you sacrificed yourself when you became Sailor Cosmos and are still fighting Chaos… I hope me sending Athena to find the past me will be enough to stop Paradius and their 'End of Days'. Dying with a smile on her face, she muttered. "...save us all, past me and all the past heroes…"

And everything ended in silence.

The final arc: The Defiant Chaos

A/N: And that's how we're setting up for the final arc! How's that for a teaser?!

Yes, that is Karin/Sedna and Dimitri/Perseus' future daughter going back to Crystal Tokyo to meet with Chibiusa, which in turn lead to them going further back into the late-2010s past. And this also explains what the Paradius duo have been doing in their free time away from the past. This also confirms the Prophet being able to time travel (since it's within Millenniummon's power to do so).

So, what did you think of the heroes' interactions with the YYGDM-01/DF-616/XLR-8 characters? On the surface, it looks and sounds confusing, especially if you've never read my original YYGDM series and/or my Digimon Fusion Kai franchise. If that's the case, this will be your first exposure to them. At this point, most of them (especially on the YYGDM-01) are experienced heroes who've seen a lot of shit in their lives and have become disillusioned after meeting their Shin-YYGDM selves. It's like meeting your older and cooler self but realizing they might be a jerk or be problematic. Except then you have Omega X, who despite facing great challenges and consequences in his lifetime, can optimistically hope for the best for his Shin counterpart, who while not a Super Saiyan-like being can still make a difference, stop the Paradius duo, and make his ambassador dream come true.

Also to avoid any further confusion, this will be the only time the Triad appears in the Shin-YYGDM series. They are just guest characters. That is partly why the Shin-YYGDM dimension has been cut off in a separate multiverse and away from The Source.

And those expecting the Chaosastra to be a big deal, well sorry. They weren't intended to be the main focus since the character interactions were what I was aiming for. Besides, if the Triad hadn't arrived, trust me: the Chaosastra would've beaten the Shin heroes and we would've had a long drawn out series of fights. And who wants that?

Anyway, here's some interesting tidbits related to the original Across Dimensions fanfic I wrote in 2011.

With this being Across Dimension's 10th anniversary, I wanted a crossover between Digimon Fusion/Kai and YuYuGiDigiMoon. However, conceptualizing a believable way to cross them over was difficult to do. I had no idea what would form this crossover. Before DFKai, I had the original Digimon Fusion, but I felt that version of the Digimon Fusion series wouldn't mesh too well with YuYuGiDigiMoon.

Then, along came fellow fanfic writer Chaosblazer, who was looking for a collaborator to crossover his Accel Stream series. He had the basic idea and the villains to use. His main character, Kensuke Rainer, was also key in uniting YuYuGiDigiMoon, Digimon Fusion Kai, and Accel Stream. We came up with the basic outline. His influence inspired me to build a multi-fanfic crossover event. That is what created Across Dimensions.

On the subject of dimension travel, I created Karin Osaka/Sailor Sedna and intended her to be YYGDM-01's official dimension crosser (along with Ryo Akiyama). I wanted to give her an important role beyond just 'Sailor Senshi extra' and give her a meaningful purpose. Her first appearance was Invasion of the Rajita and her first solo story was Search for the Kuiper Belt Senshi. Her first Digimon Fusion/Kai appearance was in a History of Trunks adaptation called A Future From Hell. Sedna was inspired not long after an old friend/fanfic writer (and Belletiger's cousin) named Youkai Yoko passed away in 2005. Since then, I've dedicated Sailor Sedna to Yoko. Youkai Yoko, this one's for you, my friend.

Next time, the final arc approached us. Our heroes now have to face the Defiants and whatever else Paradius has left in store. Can Chibiusa, Athena, and presumably other heroes from the future (possibly the Signers?) make it in time to make a difference?

Only one way to find out when Shin-YYGDM's final arc releases later this year.
