The following day, the five girls were eating breakfast at Cassie's ice table when owls arrived to deliver mail.
One barn owl arrived to give them a copy of the Daily Prophet, Susan gave it 5 knuts then it flew away.
But before she could open it, Errol, the Weasley's bird, crashed in front of Ronald, covering him in eggs. In his beak, there was a red envelope that make the red-haired boy pale.
" Here we go again, the Mom's howler show." Ginny snarked
Cassie put her hands on her ears while Ron opened the envelope with trembling hands. And soon enough, Mrs Weasley's voice was heard in the great hall.
" RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY ! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO CASSIE ?! SHE IS ONE OF THE NICEST AND HONEST YOUNG WOMAN THAT THE WEASLEY FAMILY HAS EVER KNOWN AND YOU REPAY HER BY SPREADING LIES ABOUT HER AND REPORTING EVERYTHING SHE DOES TO THAT DUMBLEDORE ! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ASHAMED OF ONE OF MY CHILDREN ! JUST WAIT TILL I SEE YOU AGAIN ! WHEN YOU WILL RETURN HOME, YOU WILL BE DEGNOMING THE GARDEN AND CLEANING EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE ! AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HAVING YOUR OWN BROOM ONE DAY !"
The howler then flew towards Cassie and spoke in a less loud voice.
" I am truly sorry about what Ron did, Cassie dear, I assure you it will never happen again. I know we will never replace the family you lost, but the Burrow will always be open for you. I also thank you for putting our family under your protection, even if you didn't have to."
The howler then ripped itself to shreds, leaving the dragon-girl touched by Molly's words and Ronald redder than his hairs.
Hermione then opened the Daily Prophet and read it to her friends
Death eater thought to be dead, at Hogwarts
Yesterday morning, Cassandra Potter, unwilling participant in the triwizard tournament, unmasked the one responsible : Bartemius Crouch Jr who we believed had died in Azkaban, but in fact escaped with the help of his parents.
Interrogated under veritaserum, Crouch revealed that Sirius Black was not only sent in azkaban without a trial but that he was innocent of the crimes he was supposed to have commit. Those crimes were in fact commited by Peter Pettigrew, who made everyone believe he was dead.
Crouch also revealed the names of death eaters who escaped justice by claiming they were under the imperium curse, most notably Lucius Malfoy, the main benefactor of our minister, Cornelius Fudge. Did the minister knew about Malfoy's true face or was he just so naive ?
Rita Skeeter
Cassie smirked, knowing that life became just more interesting for the ministry and the Malfoys. And she was so happy that the public now knew about Sirius's innocence.

Remus and Sirius, who just sneezed, were reading the papers when they saw Skeeter's arcticle. After the reading, the two friends apparated to the ministry's entrance.

Cassie was kneeling and Hermione was sitting down in Mcgonagall's class where they were learning how to change a box in a bag.
But when Cassie tried with her wand, lines of light went from the wand to her heart. When it was over, the dragon-girl didn't feel anything from her wand anymore.
"Cassie, I think you just absorbed all the magic coming from the phoenix feather of your wand." Hermione said, amazed
Cassie decided to try something and move her hand towards the box. She thought really hard about changing it in a bag then it happened.
" Miss Potter, How did you do it ? " Minerva asked
" I just imagined the change happening." Cassie answered
" But to do so, you should have said the formula and made a precise movement." Minerva said
" I thin that by doing so, you limit yourself professor : you only have to learn the basic transfiguration spell and to visualise what you want the item to transform into, if the object that is the goal is the same mass that the object that must be changed." Cassie explained by changing the bag into a book
Minerva was stunned : Everything she learned and she teached was wrong and there was an easier way to do transfiguration. But the bell ringed before she could ask Cassie to take her place.
After this, the Gryffindors went to the potions classroom, which was now taught by an auror called Williamson.
" Good afternoon class. I am Steven Williamson. Today you will learn how to prepare an antidote to the basic poisons." the new professor said
This class was really different from the one taught by Snape : No insults, the teacher helped the ones who struggled and didn't praised the ones who didn't deserve it.
Malfoy tried to throw a frog's leg in Cassie's Cauldron but she caught it.
" What happened here ? " Williamson asked
" Potter was trying to throw something at me, professor." Malfoy lied
" Let me guess Mr.Malfoy, the frog's leg that wasn't on her and miss Granger's table but on yours seconds ago ? Do you take me for Snape or for an idiot ? Thirty points from Slytherin. Now stop disturbing the class or you will be in detention." Williamson said before returning to his desk.

Sirius and Remus were the happiest men in the world : Sirius was declared innocent from all the crimes he was accused and he was just forced to register as an animagus.
When that was done, Sirius headed to Gringotts to do something that he couldn't do while his parents were alive.
" Lord Black, what can Gringotts do for you ?" Gornuk, the goblin in charge of the Black accounts
" Gornuk, I wish to dissolve the marriage between my cousins Bellatrix and Narcissa with Rodolphus Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy. And to reinstate my cousin Andromeda, her husband Ted and her daughter Nymphadora in the Black family. And I wish to disown Draco Malfoy and Bellatrix Black from the Black family" Sirius stated
" It will be done, Lord Black." Gornuk said before waving his hand on a paper.

Narcissa felt the magic of the Black family return to her while it leaved Lucius. She was now the true mistress of the house.
" Lucius Malfoy, now that Lord Black dissolved our marriage, I banish you and your son from this manor forever. I order you to go away, in the DMLE" She claimed before Lucius was forcefully evicted from the manor that now belonged to Cissy.

After a week, Bagman summoned the four champions for something called " wands exam." with Ollivander. Fleur was the first to go.
" Rosewood, 9 inches 6 and a veela's hair, your grandmother's if I remember. Inflexible wand. " He described
Krum was next.
" 10 inches, hornbeam wood and dragon's heartstring. Quite rigid wand." Ollivander said
Angelina was next
" 10 inches 3, apple tree wood and unicorn's hair." Ollivander described
When it was Cassie's turn, she just created an ice axe wandlessly before it disappeared. Which stunned everyone in the room.
" I don't need a wand anymore." She simply said
After this, the champions had to pose for photos for the Daily Prophet before they could go away.
Cassie wanted to go in the chamber of secrets when she was followed by the blond reporter.
" Miss Potter, Rita Skeeter from the daily prophet. Would you care for an interview ? " Rita asked
" I will propose you a good offer, miss Skeeter : You tell nothing about my appearance and I will tell you what is happening behind the walls of Hogwarts." Cassie proposed, seizing an occasion to get back at Dumbledore
" It's a deal, miss Potter." Rita said, shaking hands with Cassie before they entered a deserted classroom.
( In the evening, Chamber of Secrets )
Cassie was concentrating : she thought that since lightning was created from heat and cold, maybe she could control it.
So she held her hands open and focused about creating heat and cold in the same points. Until she felt something. She opened her eyes and saw two lightning balls in her hands. she launched them on Slytherin's statue and its nose exploded. Cassie then changed into her dragoness form and began breathing lightning like Ghidorah.
She smiled at this victory. She couldn't wait to tell Hermione and the others.

At breakfast, the new edition of the Daily Prophet was available for all to read.
The truths behind Hogwarts walls
Dear readers, this reporter was granted an interview by Cassanda Potter who revealed to me what Hogwarts became since her first years at Hogwarts.
Miss Potter showed me her memories in my pensieve, After she swore a magical oath, which revealed a lot of things.
Did you knew that three years ago, a troll entered in the castle ? Or that a Basilisk was petrified students two years ago or that dementors attacked students during a quidditch match last year ?
Why authorities weren't informed ?
Miss Potter also revealed to me that History of magic was in fact a naptime because the teacher droned about the same subject, the janitor wanted corporal punishment to be introduced at Hogwarts and most of all, that potions class used to be taught by someone who was heavily unprofessional.
Severus Snape used to be a death eater before Dumbledore vouched in his favor, claiming he was a spy. He belittled any students who wasn't a Slytherin, retiring points for petty reason,giving points to Slytherins unfairly and writing recipes on a board before letting everyone make potions without giving more explanations. From what Miss Potter told me, a lot of complaint about Snape had been brought to Dumbledore but the old man always said that Snape had his trust.
But in doing research, I found out that in the thirteen years Snape was potions professor, the number of healers, aurors and every jobs who needs N.E.W.T in potions drastically diminished and the few who obtained it were all Slytherins.
What is the true relationship between the two men ? Why Dumbledore never explained what happened all those years ? Does he fear losing his reputation ?
Cassie looked at the staff table and saw Dumbledore looking like he swallowed something particularly sour. She smirked.
( This evening)
Cassie followed Hagrid in the forbidden forest.
" You wear a rose ? And you brushed your hairs, Hagrid ?" Cassie asked
" Yes, I brushed my hairs. For someone special." Hagrid answered before signaling her to become invisible.
Cassie did so and Madam Maxime joined them, accepting the rose Hagrid gave her. They went further in the forest and finally arrived in a clearing where wizards were busy with cages containing...
DRAGONS !
So that was the first task. She recognized Charlie Weasley who told Hagrid that the champions will have to pass the dragons. He presented the different species : A common green welsh, the yellow one was a chinese fireball, the silvery blue one was a swedish short-snout and the black one was a hungarian horntail. They were all females.
Cassie heard enough and pyroported back in the Chamber of Secrets, where her friends were waiting for her.
" So what did Hagrid wanted ? " Susan asked
" To show me what would be the first task, and it's dragons. " Cassie answered
" WHAT ?! Dragons ! Are they out of their minds ?" Hermione yelled
" I think they are invaded by wrackspurts. " Luna said
" No, they are working for Fudge so they are really dumb. Except your aunt, Susan." Ginny said
" Nice save, Gin." Susan answered
" What are you going to do to pass the dragons without being burned, Cassie ? " Hermione asked
" I have two options : Either I fight the dragon or I talk to it. " Cassie explained
" Dragons can speak parseltongue ? " Ginny asked
" Of course they can, it is the language of all reptiles. " Luna answered
" I am more worried about Angelina. I will help her to find a way." Cassie decided
( the next day)
Cassie went to Angelina, who was with Alicia Spinnet and Katie Bell near the lake.
" Hey Angel, I need to tell you something really important." Cassie called
" Okay Cassie. " Angel said
" The first task, we will have to face dragons." The dragon-girl said
" What?! Dragons ? Are you kidding us ?" Katie asked
" I would have preferred this to be a really bad prank from Fred and George but no. We will have to pass nesting mothers to catch something." Cassie explained
" What am I going to do ? " Angelina said, her head between her hands.
" You must use your strenghts, do what you do best." Cassie said, putting her hand on Angel's shoulder
" Like flying ? " Angel asked
" Exactly. You are incredible in the air, use that strenght." Cassie encouraged
" But we aren't allowed to use brooms." Cassie said
" We are allowed to use magic, so use it to make your strenght come to you." Cassie countered
Angelina had a look of realization on her face.
" You are right, I know what to do. Thank you Cassie." Angel thanked
" I allow you to use my firebolt to maximize your chances." Cassie added
" Potter ! " Malfoy called, coming with his two trolls.
" Bouncing ferret. Gorillas. " Cassie greeted back with a smirk
" Don't call me that. You will pay for what you did." Malfoy said
" First : I never did anything to your father. Not my fault if he choosed to serve that freak with a huge ego.
Second : If you want to intimidate someone, be intimidating. Right now, you are what you always was and always will be : a whiny, pampered and pathetic spoiled brat who cannot fight his own battles without his rich daddy or uncle Snivellus to hold his hand. " Cassie responded then turned towards her teammates
" I'll show you pathetic ! Reducto! " Malfoy yelled.
His spell reached Cassie's back but did absolutely nothing. Cassie slowly turned around and froze Crabbe and Goyle while there was students who came to see what happened.
" Attacking the head of the ancient house of Potter in the back, without stating a blood feud, heir Malfoy ? If you want to play, fine, we will play. I call upon the debt owed by house Malfoy to house Potter." Cassie stated
" What are you talking about ? " Malfoy asked
" Don't you remember ? In our first year, when you challenged me to a duel and you never showed up. By doing so, you forfeited. So the house Malfoy owe a debt to my House because of your cowardice. It is time for you to learn to not attack those who are stronger that you in every way. I claim everything you possess." Cassie stated
She then pick Malfoy by his throat, making him struggle, before lifting him until they were eyes to eyes.
" Now, worthless inbred, if you cross me or my friends ever again, I will state a blood feud between our two families and I will kill you and that bitch you call father." Cassie threatened, giving herself a deep voice before throwing Malfoy on the ground.
The Slytherin then ran away, a brown stain between his legs, under the laughs of the crowd of students. The crowd then dispersed, except for two Slytherins. Daphnee Greengrass and her best friend, Tracey Davies.
" That was a good show, Cassandra." Daphnee commented
" Glad to be of service, Daphnee. But let's make one thing clear : I am the true Ice Queen." Cassie said, freezing a part of the lake to demonstrate.
" We can't argue with that." Daphnee said, impressed
" That said, I am surprised that you didn't protest against Cassie." Alicia said
" To be honest, Malfoy is very unpopular in Slytherin, always failing to do something that could help our house and always bragging. " Tracey said
" No ambition and no cunning. How he arrived in our house is beyond us." Daphnee added
" Cassie ! " Seamus Finnegan called
" What is it, Seamus ? " Cassie asked
" Headmaster Dumbledore want to see you in his office. He said he like acid pops." Seamus said
" Thank you Seamus." The dragon-girl thanked before pyroporting.
" Wow, how did she do that ? " Katie asked
" She is part phoenix now." Angelina answered

After she gave the password, Cassie was greeted by Dumbledore, Minerva, Sprout, Flitwick and Williamson.
" Headmaster, professors." She greeted
" Good afternoon, Cassandra. Please have a seat." Dumbledore said
" I told you that I didn't allow you to call me by my first name." Cassie answered
" Very well, miss Potter. Could you explain why you told those stories to Rita Skeeter ? " Dumbledore asked
" Because I thought that parents had a right to know that their children were endangered each time they came to that school. You should have told the truth, unless you were afraid that Amelia Bones would discover what you are hiding." Cassie answered
" I have nothing to hide." Dumbledore answered
" Oh yeah ? Hiding the philosopher's stone in a corridor behind " traps " that could be crossed by three first years. Speaking of which, I find this really weird that the traps were linked to the strenghts of the three first years : Hermione is really good in herbology and riddles, Ron Weasley is a Prodigy in Chess, and I am good at catching things while in the air.
You know what's weirder ? That all of this happened the same year, The Girl Who Lived returns in the wizarding World. Coincidendence ? I think not.
And don't make me believe that you couldn't find out that Quirell was the host of Voldemort, or that you couldn't find out what was the monster in the chamber of secrets in 50 years. The book that would have give you the answer was in the library." Cassie listed
" Miss Potter raise very good points, Albus. That stone should have stayed with Nicolas and we should ask for help to discover the basilisk." Sprout agreed
" Before you begin to scold me about what I said about Snape : Mr Williamson, you were an auror, if I am not mistaken." Cassie
" For 25 years, yes." Williamson answered
" In the last 13 years, how many of new recruits did you see appear ? " Cassie asked
" A lot less than during my first years of service. You were right saying that this decrease can be linked to Snape being a teacher here and Albus doing nothing to discipline him." Williamson said
" Severus has..." Dumbledore began
" Severus has my complet trust." Flitwick, Minerva and Sprout said
" We know, you use that same old tune every time." Minerva said
" Now, if we are finished, headmaster, I will take back what is rightfully mine." Cassie stated before making the Sword of Gryffindor float in her hand.
" The Sword has no owner, it belongs to the school." Dumbledore protested
" On the contrary, Dumbledore." The sorting hat said, making everyone turn towards him
" What do you mean, Emeric ? " Dumbledore asked
" You once said that only a true Gryffindor could take that Sword from inside me.
Godric enchanted the Sword and myself to allow only his bloodline to take the Sword. And guess who retrieved the Sword for the first time in a thousand of year ? " Emeric asked
Everyone turned towards Cassandra who smirked and winked at Fawkes and Emeric who winked back. She then made flames appear on the Sword, making it grow until it was the same size as herself.
The Sword was now more of a claymore and Cassie breathed fire on it, making the Sword absorb the flame.
" Now that is a true sword." Cassie stated before she turned towards Dumbledore.
" Be grateful that I didn't revealed to Rita the true face of the freaks you forced me to live with, Dumbledore. That will be your last warning : If you ever put your nose in my business again, I will destroy you. That is a promise." Cassie said before pyroporting.
" She can really do what she said ? " Williamson asked
" Yes, she can. Cassandra is becoming more like her mother day after day." Minerva answered
