Rin, still distrusting of the situation, decides to have a talk with Ritsuka to try and find out his intentions.

Ritsuka and Rin were now in a cafe close to where they first started talking. The girl wanted to get as much information as posible about him. Ritsuka on the other hand wanted to see if they could become at least temporal allies.

"So tell me Ritsuka Fujimaru" - Rin said as she put her hands on the table - "Where are you from exactly?" -

"I'm from Tokyo, but I was about 2 years away from Japan" -

"Are your fathers Magi?" -

"Not very competent, but yes" -

"And you found out about the Holy Grail War how exactly?" -

"My mother, she told me about the ritual since my grandma, another Magi, once lived in Fuyuki and learned about it. She told my mom, and then my mom told me" -

"Alright then. My next question, if you say your parents aren't very good, then how are you capable of having two Servants?" -

"Oh, only one of them is mine, the second one I'm merely... Let's say borrowing from another Master" -

"Another Master then?" -

"I'm gonna do you a favour and say it straight away, I'm not telling you the name, he trusted me with his Servant and I'm not betraying that trust" -

"Oh, so he's a he?" -

"Maybe, or I could just be lying and you'd be falling straight into it" -

Rin stood for a moment looking at him directly. He was good at hiding his information from her.

"Hey, Rin" - Ritsua drawned her attention back at him - "I understand that you have 0 reasons to trust me, however I think that if you give me the chance we might just become good allies" -

"What do you propose exactly?" -

"Not much, you and I work together to beat this Holy Grail War. With our combined minds, it shouldn't be a problem, and I promise to relinquish my own Servant when the time comes as to allow you to get your wish" -

"This seems very convenient Fujimaru, and you might be setting me up for a betrayal" -

"What can I do to make you trust me?" -

"... I have something, but I feel you're not going to like it" -

"Tell it first and then I'll tell you if I like it" -

Rin then got close to Ritsuka and whispered something in his ear.

"You serious now?" -

"If you want me to trust you, then that's what you'll have to do" -

"Ah... Fine, we can do it later in the night" -

"I knew you wouldn't take a lot to convince" -

After that, they finished their coffee and left the place, Rin took Ritsuka to her house but just before they entered...

"I told you that we could do it in the night, but not now" -

"If you want me to trust you, then do it right here and now. Otherweise, you and I are going to fight and you don't want that" -

"Goddamit..." -

"I'm waiting for you Ritsuka, the clock is ticking" -

"Alright, fine. Alter, Rider, come here" -

Both of the Servants appeared behind Ritsuka with their weapons ready to fight. This time, Salter was dressed in her First Ascension armor.

"Alter, by my Command Seal, if I were to die during this Holy Grail War, Rin shall become your new Master" - the light of the Command Seal covered all of them and after a few seconds, it dissapeared, with just 2 Seals left on Ritsuka's hand.

"Alright then Ritsuka, you can come in, even if that Rider Servant still makes me a bit nervous" -

"Don't worry about her, she's not going to attack you" -

After that, Rin took Ritsuka to her house where they could talk more privatly.

"Well Fujimaru, what do you want to do exactly?" -

"I alredy told you, I want to form an alliance for this Grail War. We both cover different parts of the city and find where the other Master are hiding, we take them down, I relinquish my Servant and you get your wish" -

"And why aren't you interested in getting your wish exactly? Don't you have anything you desire in the long run?" -

"I'm going to be real here with you Rin, not really. I actually never wanted to join this War in the first place, but now that I'm here, my main goal is to not die" -

"I see we're both on the same train of thought in that one. Fine then, I'll let you help me, I'll just need to tell Emiya Kun later about you" -

"Emiya who?" -

"A friend of mine, I spend a lot of time with him and he... Kinda found out about me having a Servant" -

"How did he did that?" -

"Well... Turns out that before you fight in the backyard of a school, make sure there are no students still in the building" -

"So he was being a peeping tom? Understandable. By the way, can your Servant come here for a moment?" -

"Alright. Archer, come here!" -

EMIYA appeared right next to Rin as she called him.

"First of all, hi Archer. Second of all, I wanted to inform both of you of the location of another Servant, the Caster one" -

"The one at Ryuudou Temple, right?" - Rin said

"Exactly, I'm glad we both know" -

"Master, if we want to avoid more troubles I suggest we take them out immediatly" - Salter said as she appeared behind Ritsuka - "We're ready to fight at your command" -

"If I may interject" - Archer interrumpted - "I think getting rid of Saber and her Master would be the better course of action, at least for the moment" -

"They don't represent any dangers yet, no reason to fight them" - Rin said, going against Archer's judgment.

"In the future however there might be trouble. We can't allow them to keep on for long" - Rin's Servant again said.

"Archer, listen to me. For the moment, we're going to need to defeat Caster as her magical power could represent a problem in the future. After we deal with her, then we can focus in Saber and her Master" - Ritsuka said, trying to calm down Archer.

"That's a two on one Archer, we're going against Caster" -

"Agh... Fine then, as a Servant I'll have to obey" -

"Fine then. We'll go out at night, so we can at least have some more time to relax until our mission" - Rin said before getting up - "I'm going to the kitchen, come with me Archer" -

Rin and her Servant left Ritsuka and Salter alone, all while Da Vinci talked to both of them from Chaldea.

"Let me guess, you didn't did what she told you right?" - Da Vinci asked, refering to the Command Seal.

"You saw it happening, I did used it... But not for what she asked me" -

"Oh, the treachery! The deceit!" - Da Vinci joked while faking surprise.

"I just used it to give Salter a bit more mana for tonight's mission, nothing more and nothing less" -

"You know she's going to kill you when she finds out, right Master?" - Salter said looking at him.

"Yes, I' praying that that doesn't happen anytime soon" - Ritsuka stood up as well - "I'm going to take a shower, you get some rest Alter, you too Rider" -

Well, I finally took the decision about the girls.

To respect the viewers, Ritsuka's not going to be with any of them, but he's going to become Sakura's close friend and he'll help her with much of her problems. Nothing romantic tho.

So, in a way, you might say that Sakura ended up winning.
