Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from Twilight or Shadowhunters/Mortal Instruments. With the possibility of cameo appearances from shows like The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. Those rights are reserved for Stephanie Myer, L.J. Smith, Eric Kripke, and Cassandra Claire. I do own the original characters made up for this storyline. Thank you.

Writer's Notes: Thank you Guest, Siobhan, Roxhall, and delia for your reviews! You know, I love Dean, and so far I like this whole dynamic. Some of the things I felt when watching Supernatural for like the 100th time, was that Dean is very caring. He puts on a tough outer shell, and is temperamental, but he deeply cares about people. I wanted to touch on that, so I hope that everyone enjoys this chapter. And Jasper and Pete are, and I will put this out there, there as a side character to the story. This isn't going to be a JasperxBella romance, but I do have plans to do another JasperxBella fic over in my Anthology series, the Twilight Chronicles. Soon, there will be introduction from TVD, and I hope that you enjoy that as much as I have writing it. As always, I appreciate all the support, and don't forget to favorite, follow, and review!

[The Institute: The Next Morning]

It was ten AM by the time Bella woke by herself. She was a bit disoriented looking around the room, and she remembered that she was at the Institute, and that everything that happened last night, wasn't a dream. She rubbed her eyes, getting the sleep out of them and then picked up her phone. It was dead, and she forgot to put it on the charger. She sighed, setting it back down on the nightstand before climbing out of bed. She was still wearing the same clothes from yesterday. She rummaged in her bag, getting a pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt out and putting it on. She found a bathroom off the room, that she found convenient and washed her face and brushed her teeth. She looked at herself in the mirror. She looked tired still, but she figured that she would look like this for a while with what was going on.

She ventured out of her room, recalling from last night when she followed Alec down here, and ran, literally, into Dean Winchester. He steadied her, his hands on her arms. "Easy there." His rough voice managed to force her to look up into his eyes.

"Uh, sorry." Bella said, blinking a couple times.

Dean released her. "Not a problem. I was coming to check on you. Alec said you should have had enough sleep by now."

"Yeah, I'm surprised I wasn't up earlier." Bella said and looked around. "These are the dorms?"

"They are." Dean said with a nod. "Clary is in command center. She's taken to this rather well."

"That's good." She said with a nod. She had been worried about her friend. "Any news on Jocelyn?"

He shook his head. "Unfortunately, none. We discovered some inconsistencies with the previous wards. It does appear a warlock was to blame for the wards going down, and they matched some traces back to a Warlock named Dorothea Rollins."

"Dot is a warlock?" Bella frowned. "She's a friend of Jocelyn's. She did palm readings and other psychic stuff. Why would she do that?"

Dean shrugged. "I'm not sure, and neither is Clary."

Bella wasn't sure what to think. Her whole world was just changing, her chest hurt a little, and she brushed it off. It was the stress of everything, and she couldn't let that get to her now. She worked hard to get where she was, and she wasn't about to break down now. "Let's go to command center then, now that I'm caught up."

Dean nodded and walked with her to command center, where things were quiet for once. Clary looked up at Bella and went to her, hugging her.

"Hey, you okay?" Bella asked.

"I will be once mom is found. Bella, I had no idea that this world existed." Clary said in awe of everything. "Oh, and the runes. The runes on their bodies, I draw those. Remember?"

Bella had to think about it and then it hit her. "Yeah, it's like your sketchbook." She murmured remembering now.

Jace found that unusual, but it made sense, since Clary was a Shadowhunter technically.

"Sleep well?" Alec asked abruptly.

"It was okay." Bella responded. Magnus wasn't there, so she assumed he went back to the club for the time being.

"Good, I want to do a test. It's just really an experiment." Alec said and motioned for her to come over. Bella walked over and looked at the screen. Alec did something, displaying runes. There was a side panel that had words like heal, strength, fearless, power, speed, protected, sight, etc. "Can you tell me which rune is which?"

Bella frowned. "I don't know anything about runes."

"That's okay. Just focus. Study the rune and tell me which ones you think is which." Alec said, crossing his arms and watching.

Bella looked at the runes. "This one is healing." She recognized it from yesterday. Alec nodded and she proceeded. "Strength…stealth." She pointed to the runes as she studied them. Alec was quiet watching her, and the others gathered close to watch. "Fearless…power…. night vision?" She studied harder, there were thirty-two runes on the screen, and she started naming them all. There were three left. "Parabatai? Love…and" she hesitated, the rune drawing her in. "Clarity."

Alec looked to Jace and then back to Bella. "That's right."

Bella frowned. "That can't be. I was guessing."

"No, you were reading the runes." Alec said. "Your subconscious is recognizing the runes. You know the runes, just like you knew the healing rune on Lincoln would heal him. I don't know quite yet why you can activate them without a stele, but you can."

Clary smiled. "I know it's freaky. I guessed all of them right too."

Bella turned and looked at her friend. "You did?"

Clary nodded. "It's weird, but I always felt different. In the sense that I was just missing something in life, and this was it." She was amazed.

"Now they just have to do some light training." Jace inputted.

"Light training?" Bella asked, raising a brow.

"Like sparring." Alec said. "But I'm not sure that-"

"Sure. I could use a distraction." Bella said with a shrug and Clary smiled.

Alec nodded. "Okay. Take Bella to the training room. Go easy Jace." He warned.

Jace actually smirked, and so did Dean, which was a surprise to Bella to see. She followed Jace, with Clary following, and Dean as well, to the training room. It was large, had a padded floor and was high tech looking. There were weapons on the wall, as well as on display shelving. Bella found it intriguing.

"There's some training gear in one of the lockers. Izzy keeps spare clothes." Jace said, and Bella nodded, retrieving the gear and going and changing. It was tight fitting, which made her believe that Izzy was more petite than she, because she was bigger busted, and her lips were a bit wider. The spandex shorts were black, and the top was a vibrant hot pink. It was a sports bra, really, showing off her midriff and belly button. She left her shoes off, and she was putting the wrist wraps on her wrists when she stepped back onto the mat.

Dean about choked on his water he was drinking when he saw her. He had to admit that she was hot. Her body curving in the right places. Jace seemed to take notice too, and Clary smiled at Bella. "Go get 'im!" She cheered her on.

Bella stretched, because this was about to be a lot of movement, and she didn't want to pull a muscle.

"Um. Okay. So, I want to start off light. I'm going to show some different techniques. I'm aware you know how to do an armbar…" he said, recalling the night at the club. It had taken him by surprise. So, he knew she at least knew self-defense, somewhat. Most women did take self defense classes while living in New York.

"Okay," Bella said with a nod.

Jace moved towards her. "Okay, tell me, if I'm going to fast." He said and then he threw a slower punch. Bella was agile, but she took a step back to avoid the slow punch and put her hands on her hips.

"You can go faster, I'm not indolent." Bella said.

Jace blew out a breath. "Okay." He sounded unsure, but then he attacked his full speed, and she was immediately deflecting his blows, and counter struck, tapping him his chest with her palm. He started again, and she was faster, moving around fluidly, until she grabbed him, twisting, and hip throwing him to the mat. He stared up in a daze.

Clary started busting out laughing.

Dean looked at her, confused as well. "What?"

"Bella is a third-degree black belt in Karate. And first degree in Aikido." Clary explained.

Bella smiled at her friend. "My dad is a cop." She said, looking back down at Jace. "When I was a teenager, I had something bad happen to me, and while it could have let it kill me inside, I didn't, and now I'm stronger. I don't advertise my abilities."

She reached a hand out, for him to take to help him off the mat. He clasped his hand in hers and she help pulled him up. "I feel sort of bad I didn't warn you."

Dean was grinning. "That was the best thing I've seen in a while." He even gave a half laugh. He glanced up at his brother, Sam, when he walked in. "Hey Sammy, the new girl is ripped. Watch them spar." He said.

Sam moved to his brother's side, leaning against the wall. "I'm Sam by the way."

"Bella." She introduced with a slight smile. She turned her attention back to Jace, who seemed to come at her a bit harder now, and she welcomed it.

Watching the two spar was entertaining to say the least. Bella was faster than Jace, because she was smaller, and didn't have all the muscle to weigh her down, not that she didn't have muscle herself. Jace couldn't land any hits, which was breaking his focus a little, as he had never been bested by anyone, and he was actually trying to hit her at this point. She was slippery and agile, and it kept him on his toes. He got a kick to his ribs, and he caught her foot, and she just smiled at him and winked when she came up with her other foot, jarring him a little, and she did a back handspring into a standing position.

"Damn." Sam said, his brows going up in surprise. His arms were crossed as he continued to watch. He had sparred with Jace a couple of times. His height was a challenge for most people, but to Jace, it wasn't.

Jace rubbed his jaw, the kick catching him off guard.

Bella looked at him. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just surprised is all."

Alec walked into the training room. "Mother is coming." He announced.

Jace frowned. "Really?"

"Yes." Alec said and looked to Bella. "You move really well. You outdid Jace, something hard to do."

"I'm sure he wasn't trying his best." Bella said.

Jace looked at Alec, and he shrugged. "He's sweating." Alec said with a nod.

Bella looked back at Jace. "Oh." She looked to Alec. "I'm a trained martial artist, but it's been mostly for self-defense."

"It's good. It makes you easier to train as a Shadowhunter." Alec said and looked to Clary.

"Oh, I think I lasted until a green belt in Karate. I'm not as talented as Bella." Clary said.

"A green belt is still pretty far, that's just two belts away. You just needed your red and brown belt before your black belt." Bella said.

Clary wrinkled her nose. "That was like four years ago, and I don't remember a thing."

"No worries, you'll get some practice." Sam said with a smile.

Alec nodded in agreement. "Jace go get changed, she'll be here in twenty. Bella, you should as well."

Bella nodded, and walked over towards Clary. "I'm going to go change and shower, but I want to talk to you later."

Clary nodded. "You are badass, you know, that right?"

Bella smiled. "I'm really not, but it feels good to hear it." She left the training room, but stopped when she realized she wasn't sure how exactly to get to her room.

"I'll show you." Dean said from behind her. He took a couple strides and walked with her, showing her the right way to where the dorms were. "You are amazing." He complimented.

Bella shrugged. "I'm not the best."

"Oh, you gave Jace a run for his money. You're faster than he is." Dean pointed out. "Plus, you're smaller, you're able to move quicker."

She thought of how Jace looked. His tank top revealed most of his muscles, and his arms were above average, his muscles rippled. His chest was hard when she struck him, so she felt the power that he had. He was quick too, she had gone to tournament in sparring and brought home second place, a few times. She was always second best. Her dad was proud of her, and that was all well and good, but she had never really been proud of herself. Not until she earned her first degree, and that was two years ago. She hadn't done anymore tournaments since then. She was settling into the average job, her dream job, and settling in on life. It never occurred to her that she could be extraordinary, and she still didn't feel it.

"You okay?" Dean said, reaching out and touching her shoulder.

Bella turned and looked at him. "Huh?"

"You spaced out." Dean said. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, I was just in my own head I suppose." She murmured. She started forward again and tripped over her own feet, and Dean caught her as she fell against him with a thud. His chest was hard as well. Dean's hands were warm on her bare skin, and he held her like that for a few moments, just looking down at her. "I'm sorry…I can be…ungraceful at times." She said, feeling the dizzying affects of his stormy green eyes.

Dean nodded. "Not a problem." He said, his voice rough, but there was a hint of something else there. He leaned her up, setting her firmly on her feet, his hands hesitated to leave her, but he dropped his hands. "This place is like a maze, but you'll get used to it eventually." He said and started walking again.

Bella blew out a breath, willing her heart to stop overreacting, and followed him back towards her door. "Thank you. I will get used to it, I'm actually not that bad with directions." She said with a small laugh.

Dean cracked a small smile. "Well, when I'm here, I'll try to help. I'm usually not so sentimental or helpful, but you just remind me so much of my brother's situation. He tried to leave this life, and not have a part of this world, but unfortunately. It didn't work that way. So, I understand the level of pain you feel, having to start a new life in something you didn't choose for yourself."

Bella smiled. "It's not so bad now that I look around. I was shellshocked at first, but now, I'm accepting it. Not all the people here are bad, and who would have known my best friend was a Shadowhunter too?" She laughed again.

Dean leaned in, his hand coming to her face, cupping it, and kissed her full on the mouth. It wasn't something he had planned on, but it just happened. It dazed him as well. Bella was shocked, his warm lips on hers, and then she kissed him back, her lips parting, allowing him access. His tongue swept in over hers, tasting her gently at first, but then it surged into something else. Some sort of need was there. Bella reached behind her, opening her door, and pulled him inside with her, closing the door. His hands moved up her sides to her sports bra and unzipped it, breaking her free from the contraption, her breast warm, and full as he groped them in his hands. Her own hands were working on his own shirt, pulling it over his head, causing there to be a pause between their mouths touching. She felt brave, and felt the full extent of her womanhood as his hands sent burning tingles through her body, like she was igniting under him.

His mouth went to her throat, kissing her there, and suckling as their hands worked on removing their pants and shorts. It was happening so fast, and in a fury as they landed on her bed, both naked, colliding with each other. He was large, Bella sensed that, and her dark eyes focused on his as he moved, pushing himself in at her opening. He slid in the tight space, and they both moaned. It wasn't like she was a virgin, but it had been a long time for her. She stretched to accommodate him and he pushed all the way in to his hilt. He leaned in, kissing her again before he began moving, picking up pace, driving each other towards release. Bella moaned, his tip hitting the right spot repeatedly until she was spilling out around him. He groaned, thrusting faster, and a bit harder as he rose, swelling tight inside her before pulling away, and emptying himself on the inside of her leg. He sat up, and Bella got the full view of him. His abs, chest, and hips. His throbbing cock was still pulsating from his orgasm, and she was vibrating and feeling amazing after hers. He disappeared briefly to the bathroom on the side and came back with a washcloth and cleaned her thigh off.

"Are you okay?" he asked, looking at her.

Bella nodded, propping herself up on her elbows. "I am amazing." She offered a smile.

Dean grinned. "Well, that was unexpected." He said, picked up his jeans and boxer briefs off the floor and pulled them on. "You have an incredible body."

"You're not half bad yourself." Bella said, sitting up completely.

Dean smirked, looking over at her as he pulled his shirt on. "I normally stay for a while, and cuddle, but- "

"Alec's mom is going to be here." She said with a nod.

"Yeah." He walked over to her, leaning in and kissing her. It felt nice, and he enjoyed that. It was a quickie that was much needed to relieve some tension. Especially after the past couple days. He lost a friend, and that stung a lot.

Bella kissed him back. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"I think I needed this." Bella said with a small smile. "It was fun."

Dean grinned. "Well, I enjoyed it too. Go take your shower. I'll see you in command." He gave her one last quick kiss, and then he left her to herself.

Bella sighed, stretching a bit before climbing out of bed and going to the bathroom. She jumped in the shower, mostly to cool down. She was in there maybe five minutes at the most. She got out, getting dressed quickly. She towel dried her hair, leaving it a little damp before leaving and heading to command.

When she got there Alec was missing, but the others were there, including Clary. She went to stand beside her friend, and she smiled at her.

The elevators opened and Alec stepped off with a woman, and a few others that trailed behind him. The woman was slightly shorter than Alec, her hair was dark and pulled back in a ponytail, and it was long to the center of her back. Her dark eyes matched Izzy's and Bella assumed this was Alec's mother. She wasn't smiling as she took position to be able to look at everyone in the room. "Jocelyn Fairchild is missing. She received assistance from the Clave to hide two decades ago for her and her daughters. It was presumed that Valentine was dead. You have been told wrong. Valentine is alive, and traces of him have been discovered with the assistance of the warlock Magnus Bane. This is a high-level threat. The status of Jocelyn is unknown. We are treating this as a rescue unless we receive news otherwise. Teams will be divided up, you'll be assigned a section and you will receive some help from allied downworlders like the Brooklyn wolf pack, the Whitlock brothers, and the Warlock Magnus Bane." She announced and looked at Alec and then around the room. "Your team leads are Alec Lightwood, Dean Winchester, Cameron Carter, Jonas, and we're receiving help from our London counterpart, Sebastian Verlac will be heading up a team when he gets through the portal." She said and looked over to Jace. "Jace, I have some other shadowhunters coming in that will be divided amongst the teams. You will greet and receive them. There should be six altogether. Alaric Saltzman, Jeremy Gilbert and his sister Elena, Caroline Forbes, and the Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan."

Jace nodded. "Yes ma'am."

Maryse looked to Bella. "If I could have a word with you, Bella, and Clary." She said and walked away.

Bella and Clary exchanged glances and then followed Maryse out of the command center into the office that Alec primarily used.

"Have a seat girls." Maryse said, motioning with her hand.

Bella and Clary sat silently, watching Maryse cautiously.

"I don't have a lot of time to explain, but this is what's happening. Valentine Morgenstern is your father."

"Who's father?" Bella asked, her brows furrowing.

"Both of you." Maryse was straight to the point. "Bella you were hidden separate from your sister because we couldn't have both of you in the same place, it would draw too much attention. Unfortunately, you found each other anyways on opposite ends of the states, and we have to address this now."

Clary was stunned, her mouth dropping.

"Wait, so we're half-sisters?"

"No, Jocelyn is your mother too Bella. Bella you are the oldest. You were born and then when you were two months old, your mother got pregnant with Clary. Clary was born eight months later, early, and you were all living in Idris before your father started going over the line and becoming mad. Jocelyn feared for the life of her children, which included an older brother, but unfortunately, when the house burned, your older brother was caught in the flames. Jocelyn came to the Clave, asking for help to get away from Valentine, and it was granted. You were three when you were separated from your mom and placed with Charles and Renee Swan. Their memories were altered with Magnus Bane's help, and you were too young to realize, but he did place a shunt in your memories so you wouldn't be able to recall Shadowhunter memories, and was supposed to place it back when you were nearing eighteen, but it appears that did not happen, as well as with Clary." Maryse's speech was long, but detailed, and explained thoroughly for the girls to understand.

Bella shook her head, frowning. "What's so special about us? Why were we hidden for so long if it was presumed Valentine was dead?"

Maryse was quiet. "Because the Clave knew he wasn't. They kept it a secret. He disappeared, injured after battle. It was never confirmed. You're special because…you possess special abilities no other Shadowhunter has."

"Which is?" Bella couldn't believe that it was so important that it forced them to hide her away from her mother and sister."

"You can communicate directly with the angels." Maryse said.

Bella shook her head. "Trust me, there is no angel."

"There is, and you just don't know how to yet." Maryse said and sighed. "I'm sorry that this is all sprung on you but-"

"Is that why Bella can activate runes without the stele?" Clary spoke now.

Maryse looked at her and nodded. "It's possible that's the cause."

"I can't do that." Clary said, looking at Bella. "Maybe she's the only special one."

"That's not true. Clary, you can do it, you just have to try." Maryse said softly, taking on a mothering tone. She reached a hand out to lay on Clary's but Clary drew her hand away.

Clary stood, and Bella stood with her. "Thank you for telling us the truth. We need to know which team we're on in order to carry out the mission."

"Clary, I want you to stay here…in the institute. Until you have had some decent training."

"But Bella?"

Maryse pursed her lips together. "Bella is a mixed martial artist, and is capable of things our top Shadowhunter isn't. She doesn't require as much training, and-"

"I get it." Clary said quickly. A tear leaked from the corner of her eye. "Thank you." She said and turned and walked out the door.

Bella looked back at Maryse. "There's a lot about me that you don't know."

"I know."

"I may be a mixed martial artist, but I'm inexperienced in fighting demons."

"It'll come natural. You'll stay with Alec and Jace for your team. I'm moving Izzy to Dean's team." Maryse said and stood, putting her hands on her desk as she rose.

Bella knew that Maryse was a strong woman, and probably wasn't used to being told 'no'. "I don't understand why you hid us for so long. I went through hell and I may be stronger for it now, but that doesn't mean that it didn't hurt then." She paused looking at the door. "Clary is my best friend. I won't let her get hurt, and right now she's hurting. I don't care who you are. I don't trust you, nor do I trust the Clave. Do you know who I trust?"

"You're going to tell me regardless of if I ask who or not." Maryse quipped back.

"I trust myself, Clary, Jasper and Magnus. That's it. It will take time for me to trust everyone here, and that includes you." Bella's voice rose slightly, and it held a certain venom to it.

Maryse's dark eyes narrowed at her. She didn't like being spoke to the way Bella was to her, but she held her tongue, because of the Clave, she held her tongue. She nodded. "Very well. I will give you and your sister some space. You're dismissed." She said, taking her seat again.

Bella arched a brow, but said nothing as she turned and walked out of the office. She walked into command and looked around. Her eyes set on Jace, she walked over to him and grabbed his arm. "Come with me." She muttered, and she half drug him out of command, with everyone watching including Dean.

"Calm down. What has gotten into you?" Jace said, pulling away from her when they were alone.

"I want to trust you."

"Okay?" Jace was confused.

"I want to trust you, but right now. I can't. I had a bomb dropped on me in there with Alec's mom."

"What did Maryse say?" Jace frowned.

Bella made a hmph sound. "That's her name? It would have been nice for her to introduce herself before dropping the news she did on Clary and I. Where is Clary?"

"I thought she was still with you." Jace said.

Bella groaned. "She's upset." She blew out a breath.

"What did Maryse say to you two?" Jace asked, now feeling concern, which was strange to him.

Bella looked up at him, his golden eyes did seem genuine, but she had made mistakes before, and trusted people she shouldn't have before. "I can't." She took a step back and started to walk away but Jace grabbed her hand. "Jace." She warned.

"Bella," his voice was low. "I want to help. Whatever it is, I promise you can trust me."

"I need to find Clary. Remove your hand." Bella said dryly.

Jace stared at her a short moment before dropping his hand from her wrist. "Talk to me. I'm not going to run to Alec, or- "

"It's nothing to do with Alec. He probably already knows, which makes me stupid. I'm surprised you don't know." Bella said and then turned again. "Just forget it." She said and she left him standing there, still bewildered as to what was happening.

Bella looked for Clary back at command, and she wasn't there and she left without a word, heading back towards their rooms. Dean caught up to her.

"What's going on?" Dean asked, falling into stride beside her.

"I'm looking for Clary. She was upset and-"

"She just left while you were talking to Jace." Dean said.

Bella turned and faced him. "What? And you guys let her?"

"Izzy went after her." Dean said.

Bella pushed a hand through her hair. "I have to go after her too, I-"

"Calm down." Dean's voice cut through to her and she stopped and looked up at him. His marvelous green eyes were looking at her, and it drove something into her. Made everything that Maryse just said, hit her all at once. Tears pricked her eyes, and she fought them back. Before she knew it, Dean was reaching out to her, pulling her into his strong arms. Her face rested against his chest, and she let a few tears fall. "I don't know what happened, but I'll go after her myself. You should stay here in case she comes back." He murmured, while his hand stroked her back gently.

"It's too much…" Bella said, trying to force her tears to stop.

"I know." Dean murmured with a small sigh. His eyes cut up and he looked at Jace, who was standing there staring at the two of them. He turned his attention back to Bella, and he tilted her face up to look at him. He wiped the tears from her face. "I'll go look for her. I will bring her back and make sure she's safe." He said.

"She's my sister…" Bella murmured.

Dean was silent and then he nodded. "Okay. I'll bring her back to you. I promise." He said and then bent his face to hers, kissing her lightly.

Bella kissed him back, but took a step back. "Um. Thank you, Dean, but I rather go and find her myself."

"But-"

"I don't think she wants to see anyone else. I'm her best friend, she's upset because of Maryse, and I have to find her and calm her down." Bella said, and wiped her face one last time. "I'm sorry for crying on your shirt. She said and turned, seeing Jace. She walked past him and towards the elevators.

Dean sighed, scratching his own head. "This is a mess." He muttered.

Jace made a hmph sound and crossed his arms. "You're fraternizing with other Shadowhunters still." It was a statement.

Dean rolled his eyes. He knew there was a lecture there. "You know Jace, maybe. Bella is-"

"New here, and doesn't know you well." Jace said boldly. "She may seem strong, but she is still a woman and-"

"And what? Incapable of navigating her own feelings? She's what? Too emotional? Have you met me?" Dean's temper flared a little.

Jace opened his mouth to say something but then closed it. "I don't know the full story, but if she's Clary's sister, that means she's the daughter of Jocelyn Fairchild." He said simply.

"And?"

"That means her father is Valentine Morgenstern." Jace elaborated.

Dean was quiet. "That doesn't matter to me. I don't care about Valentine anymore."

"You should, he killed your father." Jace said. "You despise Valentine and everything from him."

"Bella is different." Dean said.

Jace nodded. "I'm sure she is mate; I'm just saying to tread carefully. You wouldn't want to upset the balance here." He said and turned his back. "Next time if you're going to lock lips with her, I suggest you do it where no one can watch. If Maryse finds out…"

"I know." Dean muttered.

Jace only nodded and walked away. He felt weird about the situation. He felt strangely jealous of Dean holding Bella, and that perturbed him.
