AN: Hope ya'll enjoy this chapter.

"I'm assuming you can't go through the front door?" Angela asked as she and Avery could be found on a rooftop a few buildings away from their jewelry store target.

"I suppose we could, but that's where security is the tightest. Than and right outside the vault." Avery answered honestly to Angela's question.

"Knowing you, you've been scouting this place for awhile. How much security is there usually, and what would be our best entry point?" Angela asked. In response Avery removed a backpack from his back and pulled out a pair of blueprints. "How the hell did you get those?" Angela asked in a curious tone.

"You can find anything if you know where to look." Avery answered with a smile as he quickly rolled out the blueprints and began looking them over with Angela. "Alright, if I'm reading this correctly: the vault is in the basement right below the sales floor–"

"You might not have mentioned it yet, but there are metal detectors, and a shit load of cameras all throughout the store, including the vault." Angela interrupted in a concerned tone. "Doesn't matter if we can bypass all the traditional security measures if we cannot get around the cameras." Angela wisely pointed out.

"There might be a way around the cameras" Avery said as he pointed to a small back room on the blueprints. "That's the security room, if we take it over, I could easily bypass the security measure in the vault, or even better, put the cameras on a loop." Avery said in a confident tone.

"That sounds like a plan, except for one tiny detail... how the hell do we get into the security room in the first place? According to these prints, you need a key card to gain entry." Angela pointed out, which just made Avery smile.

"I'm sure two Inhuman's can find a way into the room. Especially when their respective powers are shape-shifting and shadow manipulation." Avery said with a cocky grin.

"Last I checked, you couldn't hold a form for more than 10 minutes." Angela said with a raised eyebrow. Which just made Avery chuckle softly.

"That might have bene true... a few months ago. But since our paths last crossed, I've nearly mastered my powers. I can now hold a form for as long as I want." Avery said with a smile. "Angela, I'll take out the security office. I'll text you when the cameras are dealt with, then you can teleport into the vault, and have your pick of whatever you want..."

-Later-

Just outside the security office, Avery quickly emerged from the shadows, courteous of Angela teleporting him in. Walking out from behind the pillar, he quickly shape shifted into the form he desired, the stores manger, who currently was out sick with the flu. Walking up to the security office he knocked on the door and presented his face to the camera mounted on the wall outside the door. With an electronic buzz, the door opened, and allowed Avery entry into the office .

"Larry, I thought you where sick?" the security guard asked with a surprised look on his face. In response Avery wrapped the guard up in a headlock and after a minute or two, had rendered the guard unconscious. And after reaching into his backpack, retrieved some duct tape to tape his mouth, hands and feet.

"You wont by going anywhere for awhile." Avery chuckled as he took a seat in front of the security console. Quickly he accessed the cameras and began looking around them, but his blood ran cold when he saw there was at least five guards inside the vault with the jewels. Reaching into his pocket he dialed Angela's phone.

"You in?" Angela's voice asked quickly.

"I'm in, but we've got a problem. Anywhere between five to seven guards are currently inside the vault–"

"Leave them to me." Angela said darkly on her end of the phone.

"Wait a second. There's a panic button inside the vault, if one of them presses that button, we're screwed." Avery said quickly. "Two of the guards are right next to the panic button, we'll have to get them away from there in order to take out the remaining five. Any suggestions?" Avery asked.

"Anyway you can lure them away from the vault?" Angela asked, which made Avery think for a minute, but he quickly came up with a plan.

"I can provide you a brief window, but I'll have to leave the security room, which means you'll have no contact with me, which means it's not an option. I'd have no way of warning you if anyone else was coming–"

"Do it!" Angela hissed as she hung up.

-Meanwhile-

"Come on, come on." Angela whispered as she watched from the shadows of a back alley. Her patience was soon rewarded as she saw Avery running in the opposite direction outside the store, four guards chasing him down. With a smile she pulled down a mask over her face, and was engulfed by her owns shadow and soon found herself looking up at the vault above her. Avery's plan had worked as now only three guards where present inside the vault. "Good thing I kept this..."

Emerging from a shadow inside the vault, but still hidden behind a mobile trey filled with jewels, Angela quickly stepped out from behind her hiding spot and pointed her right hand at all three guards. Their own shadows quickly engulfed them and pulled them down, seemingly through the stone floor, and out of sight. Angela snapped her fingers and a duffle back emerged from her own shadow, which she began to load up with all she could lay her hands on. Suddenly the vault door swung open and in walked what appeared to be a sales clerk, who quickly spotted Angela once he had entered into the vault a little further.

"Get on the ground!" Angela hissed as she quickly pulled out the gun she had obtained during her last robbery. With a laugh, the sales clerk changed into the form of Avery. "Be quicker next time in letting me know it's you, almost shot you." Angela said with an angry sigh as she pocketed her stolen gun. "You loose the guards?" she asked quickly.

"Losing the guards is easy when you're a shape-shifter." Avery said with a proud smile as he took off his backpack and began loading jewelry into it. Soon both their bags and pockets where stuffed with jewels and both had a satisfied look on their faces.

"Angela, teleport us out." Avery said as he slipped a rather expensive ring with a ruby in its center unto his finger.

"One sec." Angela said as she walked over to something that caught her eye. A necklace with a rather large purple jewel on it. "I think I'll keep this one." Angela said as she used the butt of her gun to break the glass around it, and the alarm began blaring instantly.

"Shit. Get us out of here!" Avery yelled in a panicked tone as Angela quickly grabbed the necklace and Avery's hand, and both where engulfed by their own shadows, leaving no trace behind.
