I've decided to not include SolarClan, and instead put Flintkit and the others in WindClan.
"I've called you together for one of the most important moments in the life of a Clan. Flintkit has been delayed of her apprentice ceremony for a moon, but I believe she has learned her lesson. Flintkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Flintpaw. StarClan, I ask you to guide this new apprentice. Set her paws on the path she must follow to become a warrior. Fallenfire, you will mentor Flintpaw. You are fierce and a good fighter. I know you will pass on these qualities to young Flintpaw."
The white she-cat stepped up to touch her nose to Flintpaw's, who sniffed.
Sagestar turned his attention to his son. "I, Sagestar, leader of WindClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Starlingpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Starlingpaw stood up and held his tail high. "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Starlingpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Starlingclaw. StarClan honors your determination and honor, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan."
The new warrior padded over to Sagestar as he jumped down from the Tallrock and licked his shoulder.
"Meeting dismissed."
Some of the Clan members walked up to Flintpaw, dipping their heads.
"Congratulations Flintpaw," Copperthorn meowed.
Flintpaw felt her skin get hot and licked her chest in embarrassment. "Thanks," she let out. Watching the others go away, Fallenfire laid her tail on her apprentice's shoulder.
"I never thought I'd be training you," the warrior purred.
"Yeah...?" Flintpaw purred in response.
The white cat gave a nod of her head. "Yeah. Come on," she said, walking over to the fresh-kill pile, "we'll get something to eat then I'll show you the territory." Flintpaw followed her to a dip in the camp with animals like mice, ground squirrels, crows, and rabbits. The dark gray apprentice grabbed a mouse with her teeth and sat down to eat it.
As Fallenfire sat beside Flintpaw, Copperthorn and Lightninggaze padded over with Weaselpaw.
"Fallenfire," the deputy began, "Copperthorn and I were wondering if you'd like to join us on the sun-high patrol."
The two stood up.
"Sure," the white warrior answered.
Flintpaw followed her mentor up the hill that sheltered the camp, and Weaselpaw purred.
"I'm so excited!" the light ginger tom squealed, "we get to see the territory!" Flintpaw coughed in annoyance. 'This better be good.' The patrol made their way through the grass, the sun shining down.
Walking up a hill, Flintpaw gripped the soil with her claws. She saw Weaselpaw waiting for her at the top, and she hissed at him. 'I'm coming, I'm coming. Give me a moment.' The dark gray apprentice pulled herself up.
Weaselpaw and Flintpaw ran to catch up with Lightninggaze, Fallenfire, and Copperthorn. Flintpaw ran to the shore, pebbles squishing beneath her paws. The scent of fish and water filled her nose and she closed her eyes in disguste. "Ew!" she gagged, "what's that awful smell?"
"The lake," her mentor answered, stopping by her side.
Flintpaw's brother jumped into the water, splashing. His light orange fur became a darker shade as the water weighed his pelt down.
Lightninggaze growled. "Weaselpaw, get out of the water. You're going to smell worse then ShadowClan."
Weaselpaw pulled himself out of the water, his tail dragging behind him. Flintpaw ran her tongue between his ears. The patrol started walking again, fallowing the shoreline. A tall grayish-blue bird took notice of the cats and flapped its wings, launching into the sky. Flintpaw followed the bird with her dark green eyes.
She saw the lake thin into a stream a little ways ahead, and the black she-cat stopped. "This is the border between WindClan and ThunderClan territory."
Flintpaw tilted her head. "Wait, so, we don't own all the land?" she inquired.
"No," Copperthorn replied.
"ThunderClan doesn't seem to have been in our territory. Let's head back to camp." Lightninggaze kinked her tail over her back, and Flintpaw and Weaselpaw followed the deputy.
...
Flintpaw made her way down the slope of the camp, her claws digging into the dirt. Fallenfire came up behind her and flicked her ear. The dark gray she-cat walked by the medicine cat den, Bramblecloud's voice catching her interest.
"Sagestar, I'm not sure," he mewed.
Flintpaw doubled back and turned her ears to listen to the conversation.
"Don't worry Bramblecloud. I'm sure it's nothing serious," the leader commented.
A huff sounded. "'Nothing serious?' Oh sure. StarClan said 'The gray sparrow struggling for the light will be suffocated by a bloodthirsty daisy. The stars and the darkness will clash, and the daisy might conquer all.' How is that not serious to you?"
Flintpaw stopped listening and scampered away from the medicine cat den as the leader and medicine cat continued to squabble. 'The stars and darkness will clash, and the daisy might conquer all?' What does that even mean? she thought.
