Chapter 4
Danny and I walked into headquarters holding hands. Kono came over to us.
"You two are together?" she asked.
"Yeah," I said. "We just started dating."
"Ana is also expecting twins," Danny said. "I'm the father."
"You're pregnant?" my best friend asked.
I nodded. Kono hugged Danny and I.
"How far along?" she asked, breaking the hug.
"Three months," I said. "It's the reason I've been sick."
"You conceived on your birthday?" Kono asked.
I nodded again. Chin and his fiancée Malia Waincroft came into the office. They saw Danny holding my hand.
"Brah," Chin said. "Are you and Ana an item?"
"Yeah," Danny said. "She's also three months pregnant with twins. It's the reason she has been sick."
Chin hugged me and shook Danny's hand. Danny was smiling as he put his hand on my stomach. I put my hand over his.
"Seems like Danny is super excited to be a dad again," Malia said.
"He is," I said.
"By the way," Malia said. "I have a question to ask you."
"Ask away," I said.
"Will you be one of my bridesmaids?" she asked.
"Absolutely," I said. "I guess you two picked a date."
"Yeah," Malia said. "We are getting married in December."
Steve came into headquarters. He was with Catherine, holding hands. Catherine was a great person for my big brother. He seemed happy with her.
