Chapter 3:
Bryan could feel his anger building in his skull. He jumped up and marched to her and started choking her. "You think you can come to my home!? And take me away!?". Mai spoke with a rough voice. "Yes.". Bryan threw her to the ground and walked away.
Kicking the door down he saw Xin sitting there. He marched over to him and held a knife at his throat. "What game are you playing!?". Xin was confused. "Huh?". Bryan then pushed the knife a little harder. "You're daughter has been changing the scores so that it looks like I am winning!". Xin then stood up and yelled at the top of his lungs. "WHAT!?!?". He ran as fast as he could, finding his daughter he started scolding her. While Mai was making lies as an excuse. But Xin wasn't buying it. "If you try anything, to make Bryan win, I will revoke your title as my successor.". Mai then through another fit. This made Bryan pale. He never saw a woman do that before. So he turned away and walked for his house.
But instead of going to his room he went to the basement. There he sat in his private work area. He took his inferno and replaced the blade. He then took his mask and took the Deathsong amber lenses out and placed in new ones. He worked all night on a plan. The final game was today. A tournament of hand to hand combat.
That moment he met up with Tanaka. Tanaka looked down on his opponent and scowled. "What do you want?" he asked. Bryan held a bag of silver out. "Look, I don't want to win, I don't want to marry the princess, if you win, you get this silver.". Tanaka smiled. "You don't have to pay. You want me to win, is payment enough.". Bryan sighed in relief. "Thanks." He said.
It was the tournament. Sense Bryan was "leading" he had to fight last. Spoillout was standing in the Kill Ring and he was scared. Tanaka was calm. As the horn was blown the two charged. Spoillout then punched high, but Tanaka stepped back and then kicked Spoillout in the gut, sending the man flying. Spoillout passed out and the Chinese were cheering. Bryan was nervous.
Bryan stepped in and the Berkians were cheering. Tanaka then nodded. Tanaka charged. The plan was to make it an equal looking fight and then Tanaka is supposed to uppercut him and Bryan had to pretend to get knocked out.
But Mai had other plans, she took a blow pipe and loaded a dart in it. She blew in it and the dart shot through the air, sticking into Bryan's neck, he gave a little yelp and pluck it out. Looking at hit he noticed what it was. Grimora venom! He tried to remain in control but the venom took over. Tanaka was about to punch him, but Bryan blocked it and pounced, he then kneed Tanaka three times in the gut, then punched at lightning speed over, over and over. He then summoned fire in his fist and punched the ground, making Tanaka fall over.
When Bryan got his head in gear he noticed that everyone was silent. He looked at Tanaka and saw what he did. Running over to Tanaka he then felt his pulse, he is alive. He then eyed Mai and yelled. "You cheated again! YOU MADE ME WIN! WHEN I TRIED TO LOOSE!". Everyone was quiet. Bryan never yelled like this before.
But then a boulder came flying out of nowhere and crashed into the great hall. Bryan charged for the docks. He saw ships he never recognized. But Hiccup did. "Templars.". Bryan then eyed his father. "What?". But that was to late. A boulder crashed on the two.
When Bryan woke up he was being dragged by two soldiers he believed to be Templars. He tried to use his powers but he couldn't. Dragon proof cuffs. When he was dropped he, stood a man in front of him. He had the same armor as his men, but had a blue cape hanging over his shoulder. The man knelt and spoke in a harsh tone. "I am Antonio Boulevard. Leader of the Templars.". Bryan just spitted out some dirt. The Templars holding him then kicked him. Then showed up the bitch. Mai Chin. She then sat on her knees in front of Bryan, guess I get you after all.". Bryan then glared at her. "I would rather burn in the flames of Helheim.". Mai then slapped him. "You are mine!".
But then a yell from behind came from Frida. Bryan tried to get loose but couldn't. Mai then walked over to her and held a knife at Frida's throat. "Choose me, or she dies!". Bryan could feel the tears going down his cheek. Frida shook her head. She wanted to die? But Bryan couldn't stand the chance killing her. "Alright, I'll be yours, just don't harm my people.". Mai then dropped her and went to Bryan. Smacking her lips on his. He tried to pull back but he couldn't. Those damn Templar guards were too strong. When he did pull away, Frida was crying. Hiccup and Astrid were looking at him. Bryan then looed down. "I am sorry.".
