Author's Note: I apologize for the wait! I own only the OC's, and Katherine gets to have a turn, yay! Also, if you have not watched Seasons 9 & 10, this may be a little confusing.

Ow. Everything really hurts... wait. Where am I?

Katherine's surroundings looked like Canada, as it had appeared in the few Canadian TV shows she'd seen. This didn't unduly upset her, although it was slightly confusing - she had been in Colorado Springs just now, hadn't she? And where was her family? That last thought was upsetting, and she spent several minutes trying to find them, or indeed anyone at all. In her searching she came upon something that could only have been one thing: A Stargate. But that wasn't possible, couldn't be. Stargates didn't exist, right? This had to be some kind of dumb joke - holy bananas, the thing was actually moving! Nice special effects - or not, she thought as she moved around to the other side to see if there was anything behind it.

There were people coming through it, and she was positive they hadn't been there before. They also appeared to be, yes, definitely from the Atlantis Stargate show. Seriously, was this some kind of joke? No. No one in her family would ever find pretend kidnapping remotely funny, and she seriously doubted anyone could make the actors look that young even with CGI (which is unfortunately noticeable in a bad way). Logically, then, this had to be real.

By this time the people that had come through the Stargate (that felt really weird to think) had caught sight of her and were looking rather confused (in the obvious leader's case, a little suspicious as well). They approached her, as cautiously interested with new things as they were in the TV show, and introduced themselves. This made things a little awkward as she explained that she knew who they were. When they asked her how she knew, it became even more awkward: How exactly was she supposed to explain that she knew who they were because in her universe they were in a TV show? It's not like she remembered everything from it. Her embarrassment and uncertainty at how to explain herself seemed to be making everything worse and they went into a huddle to decide how best to deal with her, she assumed. (Later she would learn that they were actually concerned about her, and were in fact discussing how best to help.)

Katherine took the opportunity to get a better look at them. The big caveman dude was with them, so the whole Lieutenant Ford episode had to have been over by now (she hoped). They all looked a little tired, but otherwise fairly healthy and fit (in the caveman's case - what was his name? Oh yeah, Ronon - very fit). They kept glancing back at her every now and again, but she wasn't too worried. She knew she wasn't a threat, although it would probably take them a bit to realize that or get it past their superiors. Never mind, so long as she stuck with the A-team everything would be fine - well, for the most part anyway. It had been a long time since she had seen the show, but she did remember them getting into a lot of hair raising situations. Hopefully she would be able to avoid those, maybe even help them avoid them.

"Miss, we think it would be a good idea for you to come back with us." The leader, Shepherd as she recalled, had approached.

"Okay," Katherine hesitated, "Er, shouldn't you ask first?"

"Yeah, shouldn't you ask first?" McKay sounded super annoyed and Katherine did her best to hide a grin. This might actually be fun, so long as I don't lost my temper with him - I don't remember liking him much at first, but I think he got better over time.

"We're getting to that," Shepherd rolled his eyes a little, "Just come over with us, all right?"

Katherine followed to them over to the doohickey thingymabobber that controlled the whatsit - the DH something or other? It dialed the Stargate, sort of. Anyway, they did the dialing thing and when it connected they radioed Weir to ask for permission to bring her back to Atlantis with her. There was some confusion again over how someone from Earth without security clearance knew anything about them, but it was granted and they were one their way. Katherine felt a little nervous (and, okay, also excited) about going through a Stargate, but managed to make it through without being sick. Fortunately, as they had her go get checked out by Dr. Beckett (she remembered really liking him in the TV show, he was even nicer in person) because protocol. She assumed that they would question her after reporting to Weir, so she waited in the Infirmary and watched Dr. Beckett with his patients, wishing she knew what had happened to her family.

Now that things had slowed down a little bit she was able to remember something, a kind of shimmering? It had been in the corner of her vision so she hadn't really paid much attention to it, but now it seemed to be an obvious way of explaining what had happened, hopefully. How had she ended up here? Was it some kind of weird techno sciencey thing that she wouldn't understand in a million years? Had her parents and sister come through also? Were they okay? Oh Lord, what if they'd met with those horrible gray creatures, the Wraith, right? No, she wouldn't think about that.

"Katherine? Dr. Weir is ready to see you now," Dr. Beckett smiled reassuringly at her from the door where someone she assumed was security was waiting. Katherine hopped off the bed she'd been sitting on, took a deep breath, and followed to security person out of the Infirmary.
