Chapter 4

The first thing that Naruto saw when he opened his eyes was a place that resembled a dark sewer, he shot up from his position when the memories of what had happened returned to his mind, he started to frantically look around to see if there was a sign of someone else around and most importantly - his sister - "Noriii!" - Naruto cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted for her missing sister but he didn't receive any kind of answer besides the echo of this sewer.

Naruto forced himself to calm down and now took his time in scanning his surrounding, and it was thanks to this he noticed two inconsistencies in this sewer, the first thing is that the water didn't make him wet, he just got up from the ground and his clothes and himself was as dry as he could be, and the second thing was the smell, or more specific, the lack of it, Naruto has noticed before that his basic senses were heightened beyond the common person, meaning he had augmented sense of sight, smell, and hearing and Naruto had been near sewer to now how those places smell.

So, with this information, Naruto pinched himself to see if this was a dream, it didn't change anything, he was still stuck in this 'sewer', shaking his head he decides to explore to see if he could find an exit to this place, he began to wander around the sewer and after almost an hour of going in circles he finally discovered a room, it looked like a hub of some kind when he went inside this hub, he gasped, the place was huge, it was almost as big as the Hokage monument but something caught his attention, how could it not? It was a Motherfucking cage door that was as big as the room itself, the cage door had bars that could be thrice Naruto's width, they were red in color and were made out of steel, and at the center of it there was a paper that had a bunch of Kanji, Naruto couldn't read them all but one and it said 'Seal', past this cage door there appears to be nothing but endless darkness and the silence was deafening.

Before he could even get any closer to the massive gates there was something else that caught his attention out of the corner of his eye, he turned his attention away from the gates and saw what seemed to be even more Kanji and characters like the one on the gates but this one was pulsating a blinking light, he steered towards this new seal, he approached warily but also he couldn't help but curse his curious nature, as soon as he was close enough he began to study it but still couldn't make head or tails out of it, 'i swear that if I get out this place, I will make Hokage-Jiisama give me something about Fuinjutsu', Naruto thought a bit irritated before his curiosity won over and decided to touch it, as soon as his hand made contact with the formula, Naruto felt a pull in his mind before his vision went white.

The next thing Naruto knew was that he wasn't in that sewer anymore, he was in a cave-looking room but now he couldn't control his body anymore, it was almost as he was a passenger inside this body and the body was moving on its own.

"I've never seen Kushina in so much pain before" Naruto heard a voice that apparently came from the body he was in and it sounded like an adult male, Naruto was freaking out as to what was happening. "She will be fine, right?" the same voice spoke sounding really concerned.

"Yes, yes she will be alright just calm down and focus on that seal, you are the Yondaime Hokage for Kami sake, now start acting like such" Naruto perked up at this voice, he recognized this voice, and when his head turned Naruto saw Biwako Sarutobi there but she looked a bit younger from what he remembered and she was helping a woman who apparently was… giving birth? Naruto had only read by accident how babies were made and delivered in some biology book he found, it almost traumatized him when Biwako had explained to him reluctantly what the book was talking about, right now there wasn't anything more than Naruto wanted than to wake up from this apparent nightmare.

'Wait, did Biwako-Baasan just called Yondaime Hokage? , and seal is she talking about?, Naruto refocused again on what was happening and he could see there was a seal of some kind on the abdomen of the pregnant woman, Naruto then turned his head to see the woman and after a minute he gasped, the woman that was in labor looked like an adult version of Nori but with his hair and eye color and without the whisker birthmarks, Naruto was starting to feel some dread at this, he didn't need a false hope but something inside his mind is telling him this woman is related to him.

That feeling only grew when the baby came out and Naruto could see a small mop of red hair and a glimpse of what appeared to be… whisker birthmarks, Biwako handles the now announced baby boy to one of the nurses to take care of him, Naruto's mind was going miles per hour trying to make sense of this situation ignoring what was being said between Biwako, the woman who discovered that her name was Kushina according to Biwako and the Yondaime Hokage, '... Am I watching… my own Birthday… from the perspective of the Yondaime…?' that was the only thought that made some amount of sense in his mind.

He didn't want to believe what he was seeing, he wanted to believe this was some sort of dream and none of this happened but he knew that he would only be lying to himself, especially when 'his mother' gave birth to another baby - her sister- but what sealed the deal was what he heard next.

"So?, how are you going to name them Kushina, Minato?" Naruto heard Biwako asking the 'his parents'

"Well we are naming the boy Naruto, after the name of the main character in Jiraiya-sensei first book, as for the girl, Kushina came up with the name Nori for her so we will be naming her that" came the voice of the Yondaime Hokage, Minato Namikaze, 'his father'.

When those words came out from Minato's mouth, Naruto would have broken down in sobs but he couldn't, he could only see, hear and feel everything his 'father' experienced as well as hearing his thought from that moment. Naruto didn't know what to feel at the moment, should he be happy that he finally discovered who his parents were, should he feel angry at the fact that Biwako knew and never told him or his sister, should he feel dread knowing that the Yondaime died this night fighting the Kyubi according to the story and if his father died, would that mean that his mother died tonight as well?, but Naruto couldn't do anything about it, he could only watch.

He watched how a masked man had entered any kidnapped his and Nori's baby selves and threatened to kill them, how this masked man had taken away his mother, how this man had extracted the Kyubi from his mother and controlled with a Sharingan according to his father's thoughts, how his father had rescued our mother and reunited her with us as babies.

He watched how his father had defended the village from the attack of the Kyubi, his battle with the masked man, and when he ripped the control of the masked man over the Kyubi, how he took the Kyubi somewhere far from the village along with my mother, Nori and myself.

"Kushina I need you to set up a barrier," Minato told her wife and Kushina only nodded her head before golden chains shooted from her back and made an impenetrable barrier and also ensnared the Kyubi preventing it from moving, these chains were the 'Kongo Fusa' (sealing adamantine chains), this was Kushina's Kekkei Genkai from her clan and even among them it was rare to awaken this power, it is said that with this chains you could create impenetrable barriers and the chains themselves could bind the target's chakra as well which make them ideal for restraining Bijuu and it was working, not even the Kyubi can break these chains.

The Kyubi has now immobilized thanks to Kushina's chains but having to maintain this was taxing, she just had gone through labor and survived having the Kyubi extracted from her and she still going, clearly a show of the Uzumaki's legendary vitality and stamina.

Kushina was still in all fours in the ground and panting but she looked at his husband and said " Minato, seal the Kyubi again inside of me, I shall take it with me to delay its resurrection, I shall save you with little chakra I have remaining", it was this moment that twins had started to cry once more, "sorry Naruto, Nori, I woke you up" Kushina said toward the twins with a sad smile.

"Kushina… it's because of you that I'm the Yondaime Hokage, it's thanks to you I'm the man that I'm today and It's thanks to you that I'm now a father to these children… and yet…" he said with a sorrowful face.

"Don't give me that face" Kushina said with a sad smile before continuing, " I'm happy that you loved me, and today is these children's birthday… if i were to imagine myself alive and our future together, all of us as a family, I can't see anything but a happy life", it was at this point that both Minato and Kushina had tears in their eyes, "if I were allowed one regret, it's that I won't be able to see our babies grow, how I wish I could have seen that," she said letting out a few sobs.

"Kushina there is no need for you to die alongside the Kyubi, preserve as much chakra as you can for a reunion with the twins," Minato said while some tears in his eyes, Kuhina looks at him with confusion on her face, " I'll seal your remaining chakra inside both Naruto and Nori as part of the 'Hakke Fuin' (Eight Trigrams Seal), I shall use the 'Shiki Fujin' to separate the Kyubi in half and then seal it inside of the twins, sealing such power inside of just one would be impossible since they are so young, to let you die along with Kyubi will also be a strategic error, as it will upset the balance of power between nations that Shodai-sama had established, Jiraiya-sensei once told us that sometime in the future the shinobi world will face a grave crisis and that he thought that I was the child of prophecy that would be the savior of this world, but I always knew deep down in my heart and soul that I wasn't"

Kushina gasped and looked like she wanted to protest but before she could talk Minato continued, "I know what you are going to say but remember what Jiraiya-sensei told us about the world upheaval and the calamities that would follow, two things were confirmed today, the masked man who attacked us tonight is a harbinger of disaster and the ones that will stop him are these children" Minato said with a voice filled with conviction, "they will open up the future as Jinchrikis, I don't know why but I'm convinced of this" he said as he set the twins on the ground and then started to make hand signs.

' Snake → Boar → Ram → Rabbit → Dog → Rat → Bird → Horse → Snake → Clap Hands' 'Shiki Fujin' Minato mentioned the name of the Kinjutsu, the soul of Minato separated behind his body and behind Minato's soul the Shinigami appeared, "let's put our faith in both of them, they are our children after all, once I'm done with the 'Shiki Fujin' i will seal a part of our chakra inside of both of them, once they try to take control of the power of the Kyubi we will help them, I shall also put my prototype seal on them, the 'Memory reliving seal' so they can be ready against the threat of the masked man" Minato said as he got ready, a face full of determination set on his face.

"Our children… they are our children… which is why I don't want to put such a terrible burden on them, and also why use the 'Shiki Fujin'?! If it is so I could meet them when they grow up even if it is for a short while there is no need for you to die, I want you to stay and protect them as they grow up, i don't get it, 'to keep the balance of the Bijuu?!', for the sake of this nation and village?!, why must Naruto and Nori be sacrificed?!, why must you sacrifice yourself for me?!" Kushina all but ranted in a high voice, tears were already forming at the corners of her eyes.

"To forsake one's nation and one's village would be the same as forsaking our children, your homeland was destroyed so you of all people should know… the harsh life that awaits those without a country, besides our family is shinobi, and finally, even if I were to live, I couldn't live without you, even if you don't have too much time with them, there are some things only you as their mother can tell Naruto and Nori, things i can't, that's the role of a mother, I'm not this only for you, I'm doing this for the both of them as well." Minato said with a face that showed that there was no going back after this, he picked up the twins, "I will gladly die for my children, that is my duty as a father" blue eyes clashed against violet ones.

Minato set the twins in ceremonial cribs he summoned and finally, the Shinigami followed the command of Minato separating the Kyubi and sealing the Yin half into Naruto first, the Kyubi shrank due to its missing chakra and cursed the Yondaime in its mind, the chains the held it back now loosened allowing it to move and used this opportunity to attack, the Kyubi planned on killing the twins so they can't seal its remaining chakra and maybe getting his other half back.

Minato Kushina saw this and they stood in the way of the claw of the Kyubi and stopping it with their bodies and the same time that Kushina retightens the chains around the Kyubi with her remaining strength, the claw stopped barely a couple of inches away from Naruto and Nori.

"I said this was the duty of a father," Minato said in a pained voice, it was expected, there was a FUCKING gigantic claw going through both him and Kushina's abdomen, " then all the more, since I'm their mother" Kushina replied in a equal manner and taking some pained breathes before saying " this is the first time I lost an argument, okay I understand that you're determined to do this"

"Thanks, Kushina," Minato said and gave pained smile before going through some hand signs and said 'Kuchiyose no Jutsu', a black and orange toad with dark markings around his eyes, mouth and a circular mark just below his mouth appeared in a cloud of smoke, the toad was looking around to get a sense of its surroundings and screamed in panic " the Kyubi!, Minato was it's happening" then gasped when he noticed Minato's injuries.

"Gerotora, I will hand you the key to the sealing formula, take it to Jiraiya-sensei and store it away until the time it's right" Gerotora nodded and stored the key inside its body " you have my word that the key shall be safe in my possession, Goodbye Minato" and with that Gerotora returned to its home.

"My time it's running out, I will now seal the other half in Nori and I will leave some of my chakra on them," Minato said but inwardly he cursed 'damn, I won't have enough chakra to place the 'Memory reliving seal' on both of them I can only choose one Minato thought with a frown but decided to place it on Naruto. "Let's tell them what we want to say"

"Naruto, Nori… don't be picky with your food and grow strong, make sure to take a bath every day and stay warm, also don't stay up late, you need lots of sleep and make friends, you don't need a lot of friends, just a few that both of you know you can really, really trust, i wasn't really good at it but keep up with your studies and practice all your techniques, remember that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses so don't get upset one of you doesn't something right, respect your teachers and your senpai's at the academy… Oh this is important, you must really pay attention to the three prohibitions of shinobi, be careful when managing money, put all your savings into a saving account and no alcohol until you are both 20, too much and it will ruin your health so drink with moderation, another prohibition is women, this is a difficult one since I'm a woman and you are one as well Nori, so all that I can tell you here is that you make sure that whoever you choose as a partner you make sure that they are like or your father, someone that will love you by who you are on the inside, speaking of the three prohibitions of shinobi, be wary of Jiraiya-erosennin,'ttbane" Kushina said at the end with a pained giggle, "Naruto-kun, Nori-chan, from now own you will face a lot of pain and hardship so make sure to be with each other and look to each other's back, have dreams and have the confidence of making those dreams come true… there is so much I wish I could pass on to both of you, I wish I could have stayed longer, I love both of you with all my heart" Kushina said in between sobs and then turned her head slightly to face Minato, "I'm sorry, I used all your time" Minato only shook his head as he chuckled, " It's okay, I would have said something similar but there is something else that I would like to add Naruto, you're Nori's older brother, so it's up to you to take care of her, as all big brothers do" he said with a smile on his face, "Hakke Fuin", and like that the rest of the Kyubi was sealed and everything turned white.

Naruto's vision returned once again, he was in the sewer again, there was a nonstop stream of tears coming from his eyes, he had just witnessed the most tragic night of his life a second time but this time he was aware of his surrounding and everything he saw was from the perspective of his father, everything he heard, felt and thought, Naruto felt all the emotions that Minato felt that night, he felt the void like feeling and strain from using the 'Shiki Fujin', he felt how the claw of the Kyubi went through Minato's abdomen, everything from that night now was something Naruto would never forget.

Now that he experienced everything felt, Naruto now knew what this sewer-like place was, he was inside the seal, with that thought he snapped his head towards the massive gates that moments ago he was contemplating on entering to explore and when his gaze landed on the massives gates he already expected what he saw, giant blood eyes with a slit were watching intently and their eyes clashed.

Naruto could only see its eyes, the rest of its body was still shadowed in the darkness of the cage but he still knew what this being was, the 'Kyubi no Yoko' was just there watching Naruto but what Naruto didn't was that the gaze of the Kyubi didn't hold any sort of malice or hatred but instead held curiosity and scrutiny as if studying him and trying to figure him out.

Naruto and the Kyubi continued watching each other, violet clashing with blood red, Naruto broke his gaze first, right now he wasn't in the right mind to continue this, the memory of his parents' demise was still fresh on his mind, Naruto held a lot of bitterness and resentment towards the Kyubi but some reason there wasn't any real hatred so he needed some time to think about what he just saw today.

So without any word spoken between the two of them, Naruto started to walk from where he came from giving his back to the Kyubi and eventually vanishing from his mindscape.

Meanwhile, the Kyubi was having its own thoughts, 'there is no doubt about, it's the same chakra but there was something very different this time, there wasn't any kind of darkness or hatred like before, it's not as bright as his younger brother but still it's an improvement than the other two times, so the question would be if it's just a matter of time before hatred consumes you again or will you finally let go of your hatred for good and finally become what our father believed you could be?... only time will tell… Indra.' the Kyubi thought while narrowing his eyes at the retreating back of Naruto.

When Naruto opened his eyes once more, the first thing he saw was a white ceiling, he heard the beeping of hospital machinery and smelled several chemicals most likely cleaning products, he wanted to sit up but felt a weight in his chest, looking down his eyes soften as he came to see a very familiar mop of blonde hair, Nori was burying her face on his brother's chest and hugging him like a teddy bear and was snoring lightly which meant that she was still sleeping, Naruto began to stroke her hair with fondness and loving smile on his face, 'It's up to you to take care of her, as all big brothers do', the final last words of his father rang on his head once more, 'I promise you this father, I will always be there to take care of my sister' Naruto thought with determination and fire on his eyes.

"You really worried her you know" an old voice spoke in the room, Naruto looked to see Hiruzen standing there with a small smile on his lips as he was standing near a door, " what happened Jii-san" Naruto said with a groggy voice, Hiruzen's face turned serious and answered, "I was hoping you would tell me, an ANBU agent came to my office to inform me that you have been admitted into the hospital after an 'accident' with some of the civilians, I wanted to discuss this with you in private, apparently Nori's own injury caused a short term memory issue," Hiruzen said seriously, Naruto was about to say something but keep quiet, he wanted to confront Hiruzen about the truth of that night but with Nori here he couldn't without risking of her also finding out, Naruto didn't believe she was ready to know yet.

Naruto nodded and shook Nori slightly while softly saying her name to wake her up, Nori's eyes fluttered open and yawned cutely, " Oniichan?" she muttered in a soft voice when she saw his older brother awake and smiling softly at her, Nori's eyes widened and lunged at his brother and enveloped him in a bone-crushing hug while sobbing softly, Naruto returned the hug and ran circles in her back while whispering words of comfort on her ear.

Hiruzen smiled slightly when watching the scene between the two brothers but sadly he had to interrupt such a moment between the twins so coughing slightly into his hand to draw their attention he spoke, " I'm sorry to ruin this but Nori could you go outside with Biwako, I wish to speak with Naruto in private" Nori seemed ready to protest but Naruto put a hand on his shoulder, Nori looked back at his brother and he had a face that said 'do as he says' Nori reluctantly nodded and went outside of the room, Hiruzen made sure to lock up the room, and even set up a couple of silencing seals, when he finished he returned to face Naruto and was about to speak but Naruto interrupted him, " I know what happened that night" Hiruzen only raised an eyebrow " well save us problem of knowing what happened yesterday" only for Naruto to interrupt once again, "I didn't mean yesterday" Hiruzen was only confused " what do you mean Naruto-kun" Hiruzen asked showing his confusion, Naruto only sighed and answered Hiruzen doubts " i know what happened on my and Nori's birthday, I know who our parents were, I know of the man that attacked us and I know of our burden as well" Hiruzen grew pale as Naruto continued to speak " … H..How?" was the only thing Hiruzen replied.

Naruto's face went downcast, that answer confirming that everything he experienced as Minato was real, " when I went unconscious, I woke up in what appeared to be a sewer, I explored for a while until a came upon a room that was a big as the Hokages' Mountain and at the end of the room, there was a huge cage door with a seal acting as the lock" Hiruzen gasped at this, he knew where Naruto was and was about to voice his concerts but Naruto stopped him, "I know what you are going to ask and no, I didn't speak with the Kyubi" Naruto said technically saying the truth but not wanting to talk about his 'staring contest' with the Kyubi, Hiruzen seemed very relieved when Naruto said that but the question remained in his mind and Naruto seemed to pick on this and continued, "there was another seal there, the 'Memory Reliving seal' Naruto said hoping Hiruzen knew what he was talking about, he didn't really want to talk about his experience with the seal.

Luckily Hiruzen seemed to recognize this, given the widening of his eyes, " then that would mean that you relieved the memories of your father" Hiruzen said with wide eyes and then softened, " I'm so sorry that you had to relieve that, no child should have to see the death of its parents" Naruto only nodded while taking some shaking breaths, there was a long moment of silence in the room before Naruto spoke again, "were you going to tell us about it or not?" Hiruzen didn't need to be a genius to know what Naruto was referring to, Hiruzen sighed but still answered, "yes I would eventually talk to both of you about it, your burden when you graduated as genins and your heritage when you became chunnins, there is no need to explain my reasoning as to why I hid this from both of you, right?" Hiruzen answered truthfully and then asked Naruto.

Naruto only shook his head slowly, "No, you wanted to protect us from our parent's enemies, right?", Hiruzen only nodded slightly relieved that Naruto understood his reasons, " but what about our Jinchuriki status, shouldn't that be a secret as well?" Naruto asked confused, Hiruzen only sighed sadly, " I had to reveal your status to the council due to some laws if I didn't tell them and then they found out themselves, they could that as a reason to have removed from the Hokage seat, I couldn't let that happen, you must understand that Jinchurikis normally are treated as just weapons and I just wanted to protect you from that fate, they are others in the council that wouldn't want more than that" the images of Danzo and his ex-teammates came to mind.

"People like who?" Naruto said with narrowed eyes, these people could make a move against him and Nori and there was no way in hell that happens, he will be ready to defend his sister, "you must always be wary of an ex-teammate of mine, his name is Danzo, he is on the elders' council and is a commander of a branch of the ANBU designated as NE (ROOT), he has always been wanting the Hokage's seat and reform Konoha on his image, Danzo believes that Konoha should be above the other villages and will do anything to accomplish his belief, he believes that shinobi shouldn't possess any emotion and would do anything to ensure the supremacy of Konoha, he wouldn't hesitate to turn both you and your sister into weapons for Konoha to further his goals of conquest" Hiruzen said with a very serious face.

"I understand Jii-san, but I still don't understand how every single adult knows of both Nori and my Jinchiriki status?" Naruto said as serious as he could, Hiruzen began to speak again " during the council meeting the civilians didn't take well to the reveal, they wished for you and your sister to be executed, they were afraid of you even after explaining and assuring them that there was no danger with the Kyubi sealed into both of you, my words fell into deaf ears, only the shinobi and elders seemed to be put somewhat at ease with my explanations, but the civilians blinded by their grief and anger didn't, after the meeting the civilian council began to spread the news of your status behind my back, the civilians believed everything their council told them and began to riot demanding the death of both you and your sister, they as well didn't listen, so I got no choice but to create a law that states that if someone were to talk about anything related to your Jinchuriki status would be executed, i believed that would give a chance of a somewhat normal life but i guess that was a fool's hope" Hiruzen said with a sorrowful sigh at the end.

"I see, at least I could say that you tried to do something about it, and for that, I thank you" Naruto replied with a resigned tone, " don't thank me Naruto-kun, it's the least I could do, I promised your mother that I would look after you" Naruto smiled sadly at the mention of her mother and asked hopefully " could you tell me more about her?", Hiruzen smiled but then apologetically look set on his aged face, " I'm sorry but right now I'm a bit short on time, I came here to ask you about what happened yesterday and we have already spent a lot of time with the news of you reliving that night, but I could tell you more some other day".

A sad look sat on Naruto's face but nodded in understanding, before asking a final question, "I know it's important to keep our parents' identity a secret but is there a chance that we could at least reveal our mother's identity to Nori? I believe it will be good for her" Naruto asked in a pleading voice.

Hiruzen seemed to hesitate but said " the day that can come to my office to talk about your mother we can also discuss revealing your mother's name to Nori as well" Hiruzen seemed to think about it and finally changed the subject, " So… during last night… 'incident'... did you notice something different with your vision," Hiruzen asked hesitantly not wanting to trigger some possible bad memories on Naruto but he had to ask this, Naruto seemed to fidget a bit, clearly uncomfortable with the subject but still answered, "I… I actually did, at first, my eyes stung for a bit before clearing and then I noticed that man was going like in slow motion and there was some faint blue light coming from him, it's that normal?" Naruto asked unsure of what happened that night, Hiruzen sighed once again, before picking up a mirror and asking Naruto, " Naruto I know that you're still not used in molding chakra but can you try on focusing as much chakra as you can on your eyes" Naruto was confused by this request by still complied, it wasn't so long ago that he unlocked his chakra along with Nori, Biwako had helped them as to preparation to their training when they turned six years, they still hadn't done any training controlling his chakra but still knew somewhat who to focus chakra, Naruto closed his eyes in concentration and making the ram hand sign, the same both Naruto and Nori used when they had to unlock their chakra, he stood there concentrating and trying to focus his chakra on his eyes when he was about to give up he felt something, the same feeling in his eyes but to a very lesser extent, he opened his eyes and heard Hiruzen gasp, he looked at him and could see that he moved a bit slower than before and faint blue light that he saw in that civilian yesterday was now a gigantic flame that surrounded Hiruzen, " what is it Jii-san?" Hiruzen didn't respond, he only put the mirror in front of him so Naruto could see his reflection.

Now it was Naruto's turn to gasp, gone were his violet eyes, they were now replaced by blood-red eyes with a one tomoe each spinning slowly, Naruto recognized this from his studies with Biwako and the memory of the masked man, " H… how it is possible that I have the Sharingan, Naruto asked shakily, Hiruzen set aside the mirror and said " I don't know Naruto-kun, but I needed to confirm this, the same ANBU that rescued you yesterday told me about you awakening these eyes and I couldn't believe it so that why I came here"

There was silence in the room, both were digesting this new information, Naruto didn't know how to take it, he now had the same eyes as the person that attacked him and his sister on their birth, after a few moments of thinking he came to a conclusion, ' the masked man will come for both me and Nori one day, I will possibly need every single advantage I can get if I were to make sure of Nori's safety' he accepted reluctantly that if he wanted to protect his sister, he needed to master the Sharingan, he has learned the very basics of the Doujutsu, but he needed help so he learn the deeps of the Sharingan, "Jii-san, I need your help to train me and my Sharingan" Naruto requested with determination in his eyes.

Hiruzen was a bit surprised by this request but he couldn't fault the boy but still, he needed to test his resolve, " why do you want to train my boy?" Hiruzen asked and Naruto replied "I need to be ready for when the masked man returns, I want to protect those who are precious to me, my sister, Biwako-baa-san, you, Teuchi, Ayame,... the village" the last he said with a whisper.

Hiruzen was proud of this boy's determination and was a bit surprised about the last part, he believed that with the treatment that he and his sister got by the villagers and the attack of last night would have killed any love for the village Naruto may have had, it was something that deeply worried Hiruzen but now it felt some weight has been lifted from his shoulders, Naruto did notice that the last statement surprised Hiruzen so he decided to elaborate, " my father entrusted us with a great burden, that is true but, he also believes that I and Nori could bring change to this world, the least I can do is to actually make sure that faith wasn't misplaced, I still haven't forgiven the villagers for their treatment but that doesn't that I will hate them for something I didn't have control over, I will help protect the village my parents' gave their lives for. I want to make their sacrifices worth something at the end".

Hiruzen couldn't be any more prouder and showed smiling proudly at Naruto and on the inside, he was thinking 'Minato, Kushina, you would be proud of the person your son is becoming, his will of fire is very strong', Hiruzen finally replied, " very well Naruto, I myself cannot train you, my duties won't allow it but I will assign you someone that I trust that can help you with the Sharingan, you will come to my office in one week from now so that you meet this person as well as to discuss the business regarding your mother"

"Are you sure that this person can be trusted?" Naruto asked doubt evident on his voice, "yes I can assure you that he can be trusted with this secret, by the way, you should stop channeling chakra to your eyes, you haven't turned off your Sharingan this entire time"

Naruto blushed a bit, completely forgotten about his Sharingan, he concentrated again to stop the chakra flow to his eyes, after a few moments he finally turned off his Sharingan, his eyes returned to his normal violet, he got dizzy for a while and Hiruzen chuckled, "be careful Naruto if you overuse the Sharingan it could let to chakra exhaustion"

Naruto only nodded trying to get his spinning head under control, Hiruzen was walking to the door but stopped on the handle," I almost forgot, I will give you and Nori an apartment so you could live together, it is in the shinobi district so you will have less incidents with the civilians, I will take care of paying for the apartment and I will give you a monthly stipend so you can buy any supplies like groceries, etc, Biwako will take you and Nori thereafter you are discharged from the hospital"

Naruto was surprised by this and gave Hiruzen a warm smile, " thank you Jii-san, I really appreciate everything you have done for us", he suddenly remembered something, " Jii-san, can Biwako-baasan take care of Nori while I'm training, I don't want her to be alone" Hiruzen only chuckled and nodded, " yes I think Biwako would to take of Nori while you are not around", Naruto sighed relieved, " well stay here and rest, I will tell Biwako and Nori to come so they can see you, a nurse should come to discharge you in a couple of hours" Hiruzen said with a grandfatherly smile and finally said goodbye.

A couple of hours had passed and Hiruzen was doing paperwork, like every single fucking day, he decided to stop for a moment as he knew that someone that he had summoned a couple of minutes ago had finally arrived, dismissing his current guards and setting a few silencing seals, he finally addressed his subordinate, " you can come out now Itachi" a young boy with standard ANBU uniform appeared, his masked set sideways so Hiruzen can see his face, Hiruzen signaled him to stand up and so he did.

" a couple of hours ago I visited Naruto-kun to see for myself if what you reported was true" Hiruzen paused to take a few drags from his pipe, " turns out that you were right Itachi, Naruto does possess the Sharingan", a frown appeared on Itachi's face and spoke, " how is it possible for him to possess the Sharingan, he doesn't possess any Uchiha heritage that I'm aware of"

" I myself don't know as well, I knew their parents and none of them were Uchiha", Hiruzen paused to gather his thoughts and continued, " my only theory is that one of their parents must have some Uchiha blood, possibly from a grandfather or even a great grandfather"

"If that were the case then it would still be very unlikely for Naruto to have awaken the Sharingan", Itachi replied thoughtfully, Hiruzen agreed with Itachi, " and you are right but I believe that maybe the influence of the Kyubi's chakra inside Naruto awakened the Sharingan, had he not been a Jinchuriki he may never have awakened the Sharingan"

"Do you believe the girl shall awaken the Sharingan as well?" Itachi asked with a finger in his chin deep in thought, Hiruzen shook his head and explained, " No, I don't believe so, we know that the Sharingan depends more on Yin chakra, and the way the Kyubi was sealed into them was by splitting the Yin side and sealing it inside Naruto while the Yang was sealed into Nori"

Itachi seemed to accept this theory by nodding his head and asked, " so what will happen to Naruto, I believe Danzo has him in his sights if what I saw yesterday was prove enough" Itachi said with a tinge of worry, in the little time he has in ANBU he has met the Warhawk and has seen his work, Itachi doesn't trust Danzo at all.

"I will assign someone to train to use the Sharingan and to guard him against Danzo, my first option was Kakashi, but I don't believe that he's ready to meet him so instead I assigned him the mission to investigate the heritage of Naruto and Nori to see if we can find from where did they get Uchiha blood, You were my second option but I don't think you can spare the time so that only leaves me with one option, there is only one Uchiha that I could trust with this assignment," Hiruzen said with a small smile.

Itachi cocked an eyebrow " may I ask who do you have in mind Sandaime-sama?" Hiruzen took a few more drags of his pipe before replying with a smile, " Itachi, would you do me the favor of summoning Uchiha Shisui".

AN: and this chapter is done! , I have been really motivated on doing this Fic, I actually didn't expect any support at all but thanks to everyone that has supported me and given me their reviews, the next chapter will begin the 'training montage', I believe that will take a little more time to write so just a heads up if I take a bit more on uploading.

explanations: I introduced the 'memory reliving seal' just a way to give Naruto the information about what happened that night but without interacting with the Kyubi, if you noticed I based on those artifacts from Assassin's Creed: Revelations in where you can relive the memories of Altair, I thought I would be a cool concept and well, to be honest, a LOT of seals in Naruto Fanfiction are Fanon, you know like the classical 'weight' seals so they can train physical aspects, that what's cool about fuinjutsu in fanfiction, you can basically make reality your bitch with some ink, paper, and chakra, regarding Kurama and Naruto I don't want them to become friends right off the bat, it will take some time before they can become friends, but let's just say that the Kurama inside Naruto is intrigued by him, I always thought that Yin Kurama as the more reasonable of the two Kurama's.

Now that Naruto's Sharingan has been officially revealed, I'm starting to plan which will be his abilities with the mangekyou when he eventually unlocks it, he will definitely keep the Susanoo that for sure, and MAYBE just the amaterasu but I'm still debating that and the third and final ability I want it to be an original power, I have been thinking of maybe giving him a space-time technique but that focuses on the time aspect, like maybe time stop, slowing down time or hell even the " erasing time" Jojo's bizarre adventure style but obviously with some nerfs, I don't want him to be too OP that takes the fun out of the Fic, tell me what you think.

and finally, Nori, it may seem like I'm forgetting about her but right now I want to establish a bit more of Naruto before a can move forward with her, but her time to shine will definitely come, let's just say that when it comes to abilities, she will be a late bloomer.
