Monaa stretched her arms. "This is one of the most exciting times of my life. He's brilliant! Life is so great now!"

"Great? Do you even know how he treats me?"

"Oh, I'm sure you're exaggerating. Don't start that again."

"You don't know him! If you hadn't made that deal with him, he'd be being as mean to you as he is to me, and you'd wish you never existed after being his holder!" Nooroo exploded.

"Stop. You're just jealous, that's what. You're jealous that he likes me. He's not mean to you, he's nice. But you want more attention from him, is that what? You just want to be his favourite kwami again."

"I— I don't!" Nooroo sobbed. "You should see! You should see what he's usually like! You don't believe me, fine! For a few moments when I met you I thought you would be a wonderful kwami who I could talk to about my emotions and make friends with, but you just don't understand me, or what I've faced. Gabriel Agreste is a horrid man who only cares about himself!"

Monaa gasped. "Look, you're wrong. You want proof? His wish is—"

"I am very aware of what his wish is!"

"Well then—"

"He doesn't care about anyone EXCEPT his wife AND himself then, fine. Happy now?"

"No." Monaa huffed.

"Observe me for fourty eight human hours. You'll see."

"Fine. I'll observe."

"SECRETELY. He is always nice to me when you're around. Probably just to fool you into thinking whatever."

"Okay fine. I'll observe you for fourty eight human hours. Gee, I'm sure he's not as bad as Viking princess Astrid or Hilda. Remember in Egypt where your owner was the pharoah's son? Well, mine was the pharaoh himself. Stop being ungrateful. If you had been locked up in an iron cage by your owner for fourty human years, you wouldn't be complaining. Fine, sometimes he gets a bit grumpy." She huffed.

"Oh, you'll see."

So fourty eight hours passed.

"Th-th-this isn't like him! What's gotten over him!?" Monaa hissed to Nooroo.

"He's always like this."

"That's mean. Why did he tell you off for that? Poor you, that must be kinda mean of him. And no, he's not like this usually."

(The next week)

"Wha—"

"Now you know." Nooroo sighed. He was looking down.

"I'm sorry. For not believing you."

"It's fine."

"Well, I've got to explain to him that this isn't right. Or fair."

"NONONONONOOOO!" Nooroo gasped.

"Why not?"

"He'll be even angrier with me."

"For saying to me how you feel about him? There's nothing wrong with that! This is a free country!"

"You spend too much time with humans, do you know that? Besides, stop quoting from them. And that's a human thing." Nooroo sighed.

"Look, I— humans aren't all unpleasant. I've dealt with horrid, deranged madpeople from the moment the universe started to this day. I know that sometimes they can be mean, but that doesn't mena that you can judge them all."

"YOU SAID TO HIM THAT YOU KNEW HUMANS TO BE DIRTY BACKSTABBERS!" Nooroo shouted. "And you're telling ME not to judge them!?"

"Ok, ok, I'm just trying to help!" Monaa sighed.

"Well you're not."

"Fine. Be like that. Rude!" Monaa HMPHed

As more weeks passed, Monaa finally realised that Gabriel Agreste was… in her words "one of the lesser pleasant humans I've dealt with". Gabriel, obviously, as usual, acted perfectly nice and normal when Monaa was around.

"Master, I need to tell you something." Nooroo spoke in a whisper.

Gabriel and Nooroo both didn't know that Monaa was listening.

"What is it?" Gabriel hissed.

"It's about the new kwami."

"Monaa?"

"Yes."

"Tell me."

"Well…. I heard her saying something about escaping here."

Gabriel gasped.

Monaa supressed one. The little brat! Whatever he was planning, It couldn't be good.

"N-no. That's impossible! She said she wanted to be here!"

"No. She didn't. It was all a trick to live a luxury life here, instead of being in a Miracle box for the next fifty years until there is a new guardian."

Gabriel Agreste gasped.

Monaa zoomed out of her hiding spot. "You little liar, Nooroo. I don't! What do you have against me!? Why are you doing this!?"

Gabriel Agreste retreated slightly from the two squabbling kwamis. They both seemed to ignore his presence.

"I-I'm not a liar! You are!"

"No, I'm not! I wanted to be here, Gabriel Agreste is a nice man who I'm sure has done nothing wrong to you. You're just…. Jealous! What do you have against me, Nooroo? What did I do to you? You've forgotten, haven't you Nooroo? You've forgotten the human years we spent together when we were both owned by the same holder? Don't you remember us talking peacefully? We used to be friends, Nooroo. Is this all forgotten? And now you're trying to turn him against me?", Monaa sobbed.

"I— no, you.. you deserved i- UH, I mean, you're the liar, I- you- ARGH!" Nooroo stuttered.

"You're the most horrid kwami I've ever seen, worse than Kaalki! And that's saying something, because she's an egocentric snob!" Monaa shouted.

"You're an egocentric snob! And Kaalki is great!" Nooroo roared.

"You're obsessed with her!" Monaa spat. "And you are!"

"You're the stupidest, most liar-est, dumbest, ugliest, egocentric, snobby, bratty kwmi anyone could EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER have as a—"

"ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!" Gabriel roared. "Nooroo, come with me."

After that mysterious chat with Nooroo, things were a bit different. Nooroo didn't talk to Monaa anymore, only really avoided her.

Gabriel seemed normal again. Sort of. Usually, Monaa talked to him and helped him with his work when he wasn't transformed and sending akumatised villains and giving hallucinations to people.

Ladybug and Cat noir had found the solution to bringing someone's mind back to the real world when they are hallucinating: Clicking their fingers. But the problem was, that they couldn't click their fingers their entire life. How would they know if something is a hallucination or not? Also, they suspected that Hawk moth was behind this.

"Master, I have been brainstorming a plan for you for a while now. I know how you can get the Ladybug and Cat noir miraculous." Nooroo smiled smugly. He had stolen Monaa's plan. She had been up every night brainstorming a plan for Gabriel. And Nooroo was claiming for it to be his idea.

"Hm…. This seems… very unlike you…" he muttered. He shrugged. "Well, what is your plan?"

Nooroo explained.

"Monaa? Come here, I need to transform."

Monaa groggily rubbed her eyes. "Yes… coming right away. Just.. just give me a sec please." She murmured.

"No, GET HERE NOW!" He shouted.

Monaa gasped. Usually Gabriel waited till she was awake. Weird. Also, he SHOUTED AT HER? Mean. Also, he made a deal to be, like, EXTRA nice to her! Hmph!

"Hi. I'm here."

"I am going execute Nooroo's brilliant plan to get Ladybug and Cat noir's miraculous. First, I need to akumatise somebody. Nooroo, dark wings rise!"

The plan was perfectly simple. Hawk moth tricks the two heroes into thinking that the akumatised villain is in front of them with a hallucination, but the akumatised villain is actually behind.

The supervillain grabs Ladybug and Cat noir's miraculous and runs off. To Hawk moth. Ladybug and Cat noir gasp. They jump behind separate buildings to hide their identity.

When the supervillain delivers the miraculous to Hawk moth, he detransforms. He is smiling iniquitously.

"Tikki, Plagg, unify!" he grins.

Monaa was just about to tell him how the plan Nooroo thought of was hers, when a loud explosion erupted. Suddenly, everything around Hawk moth (who currently was using the Ladybug and Cat noir miraculous together) and the two kwamis went black. They could only see each other and nothing else. Were they… in space? No, there was definitely oxygen here, they could breathe fine.

A few miles away, Master Fu gasped. A distant rumble echoed.

"Oh no! Master, is it the end of the world?" the kwamis wailed.

"He has succeeded." Master Fu gasped, petrified. His eyes were wide and unblinking. His mouth was hanging open.

"Kwamis! In the Miracle Box! QUIIICK! There is still a chance! When all of the humans are gone, you will all still be there! You can unite your powers to bring everyone ba—" suddenly, Master Fu disappeared. In fact, everyone disappeared. They all found themselves in an inky blackness. The sounds of explosions echoed all around.

Echoed!

That must mean THERE IS AN EDGE OF THIS PLACE!" some people realised.

But then people were no more.

"The plan… was mine!" Monaa cried quickly.

Gabriel Agreste gasped. "Nooroo said it was his!"

"I'm sorry, Monaa. For everything. I was just so upset at everything that was happening, that I took all of my emotions out on you. You are my friend. Till the very end." Nooroo wiped a tear from his eye.

"I'm sorry, Nooroo, for everything. If you manage to bring the world back, tell Adrien everything. And tell him that I am sorry."

The two kwamis held hands, and locked eyes one more time.

BOOM!

The story is not over yet. Aw man, this was UGH a TERRIBLE ending PRE-ENDING. Not over yet. I'm angry at myself for making this so lame. I should have planned it out! (slaps myself)
