White powdery snow blanketed the grounds as the students lined up for another Hogsmead trip. Claire pulled her black jacket around her, a few other Slytherin girls surrounding her. "Alright everyone, let's go." McGonagall stood in front of the students, walking with them through the snow to the small town over. Claire looked over the heads of the students, her jade eyes looking for a certain redhead. They never found him though he was. Busy.

Fred picked up a handful of snow, packing it together in his hands to make a perfect ball before launching at his brother Percy. "Watch it Fred. I will deduct points from my own house." Percy brushed the snow off him.

"No you won't!" Another snowball hit his back.

"You're tired of losing the House Cup to Slytherin." George rested his arm on Fred's shoulder.

"So we." He moved his finger back and forth between the two of them. "Will get away with everything." Percy scowled.

"20 points from Gryffindor."

"Ooooo 20 points. Georgie I think I'm going to cry!" Fred fake sniffled.

"I will be including this in my letter home." The twins glanced at each other.

"Wicked." Percy turned on his heels, leaving the courtyard. Fred pulled his wand out, waving it to enchant Percy's badge that now read 'pinhead' instead of Head Boy leaving the twins laughing.

Fred made a small ball of snow, adding more and more to it till it became giant. George made a more medium size ball to put on top of the one Fred made, while he worked on a smaller one. They loved building snowmen and enchanting them to walk around the grounds. The twins were finishing up on the top of the snowman when they heard a crunch of snow.

"Georgie." He pointed to footsteps appearing in the snow, but there was no person.

The twins crept towards the invisible figure, Fred threw his arm around them grabbing them by the neck. "Guys. Come on! I'm trying to get to Hogsmead!" A familiar voice rose.

"We know." Fred chuckled and drug Harry into an entryway. "Ready to join the big boys Harry?" He questioned pulling the cloak off Harry.

"What are you talking about?" Fred glanced over at George and raised an eyebrow.

"Ready George?" He nodded.

"Ready Fred." Fred pulled what looked like a piece of parchment and handed it to Harry.

"What's this rubbish?" He flips it around in his hands examining it.

"What's this rubbish." The twins repeated together. "This is the key to our success." Fred held his wand to the parchment. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." As Fred spoke ink started to spread revealing a map.

"The marauders map." Harry whispered, flipping it open. "Is that?"

"Dumbledore." The twins answered together.

"Pacing." Fred said looking over at the map. "Been doing that a lot lately." George finished his brother's thought.

"So this map shows people?" Harry was still confused.

"Yes. Everyone."

"What they're doing."

"Of every minute."

"Of every day." Fred and George went back and forth finishing each other's sentences again. "Nicked it from Filch's office first year. Now. We suggest this passage." They both pointed to a statue under the map. "The one eyed witch. Leads right to the cellar under Honeydukes. Better hurry. Filch will be coming soon. Oh and when you get done make sure to tap it."

Both of the Weasley's touched the map with their wands. "Mischief managed. Otherwise anyone can read it." The ink on the parchment disappeared again. Fred and George left Harry and headed to the Hogsmeade village themselves.

Claire and her group of Slytherin's were walking around, looking in the windows of shops. Fred and George met up with their best friend Lee Jordan once they arrived at Hogsmeade.

"Look Freddy." George playfully hit his brother's arm. "There's your girlfriend." He pointed to the black haired Slytherin, she was pointing at something in the Honeydukes window, a small smile graced her lips.

"She's not my girlfriend George." He rolled his eyes.

"A sickle he goes over to Honeydukes Lee?" George playfully taped their friend with his elbow.

"Deal."

Fred looked at Claire, her hair had little specks of snow in it giving it a salt and pepper look. Her skin looked almost porcelain against the white background. "I'll meet you guys at Zonko's." Fred began walking towards Honeydukes as he watched her enter the sweets shop. George held his hand out.

"I'll take that sickle now."

"Bloody hell Fred. Couldn't help me out could you." Lee reached into his pocket and slammed a silver coin into George's hand.

"Come on, let's go to Zonko's."

A little bell dinged as Fred opened the door, he glanced around a little bit before entering more into the shop. He picked up a few acid pops and blood-flavored lollipops while looking for her. The little wheels inside his head were spinning, he could give the blood-flavored lollipops to some first years, or leave acid pops for Flich. He chuckled softly with the image of Flich jumping around and screaming flashing in his mind.

"Fred, what are you doing here?" His little brother Ron stood next to him.

"What else does one do in a sweet shop Ron?"

"You always go to Zonko's though."

"Who said I wasn't also going to be going there?" Ron looked around.

"Where's George?"

"Bloody hell Ron why are you asking me a hundred questions?" Fred crossed his arms over his chest, turning to face his brother.

"Because you're acting odd." The older Weasley opened his mouth to say something when he saw her standing alone next to a display of exploding bonbons.

"I gotta go." He tapped his brother on the shoulder and moved towards the display.

"What's gotten into him lately?" Ron asked Hermione as she approached him.

"Harry said he thinks he's soft for the Slytherin chaser." Hermione handed him a chocolate frog.

"Slytherin? Really?" She shrugged her shoulders as the younger Weasley glanced at her.

Fred walked to the other side of the display, making it so he had to cross her path to get to the bonbons. "Excuse me." He whispered as he walked in front of her.

"Oh! Hi Fred." Claire smiled softly. He looked down at her.

"Oh you can tell the difference?"

She ran her fingers through her hair giggling. "Well, there is a very large 'F' on your hat you know. But your voice is a little higher than your brothers." Fred's cheeks began to turn a bright shade of pink.

"Oh. Yeah, right."

"So acid pops?" She glanced at the sweets he was holding.

"Oh yeah, they're great for pranks. I'm thinking about getting some ice mice too. Might slip one to Malfoy. What do you have?" She chuckled at the thought of Draco Malfoy squeaking like a mouse as held her hands out.

"Just some Droobles, Fizzing Whizzbee's, and Every Flavored Beans. They're my favorite."

"You know, I was going to meet my brother and Lee at Zonko's. Do you want to join?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Depends. Are you going to prank me?" Fred smiled.

"Prank you? Never."

She bit her dark red lip, pausing for a moment. "Sure then." They both made their way up to the counter, Fred grabbing some ice mice on the way. After paying for their sweets they left the shop heading for Fred's favorite place. Zonko's Joke Shop.

"Ah Fred! There you are." Bilton Blimes, the owner of the shop walked towards Fred and Claire as they entered.

"Hello Blimes! Do you know where my brother is?" The wizard stroked his long, blond mustache.

"Last I saw him he was picking up stink pellets." Fred nodded and thanked him before leading Claire around the store.

"Took you long enough Freddy." George stopped as he saw the Slytherin behind him. "Oh. You brought Claire." She raised her hand nervously waving at him. She already thought it was odd Fred was so nice to her, she couldn't get lucky and also have George be nice to her too. Lee Jordan came around the corner of a shelf.

"Oh! Claire. Might I say you were brilliant in the last quidditch game."

"Thanks." Her cheeks turned a bright pink while George playfully hit Lee.

"They beat us you know!" Fred and Lee both couldn't hold back their laughter.

"Mainly because of her. She's brilliant!" Lee Jordan beamed.

"Hey, you guys put up a good fight. I think Harry was still a little shaken from that game with Hufflepuff."

"I would be too if I saw a dementor then fell over a hundred feet." Fred crossed his arms over his chest. "We need to stock up on some dungbombs George." Claire scrunched her nose up.

"That sounds like it would be awful."

"Oh they are. Sometimes we leave them in Filch's office." Lee snorted.

"So that's who's been doing that. I wondered why that part of the castle smelled awful."

Claire waved her hand in front of her nose. "Usually his office smells like fish." He said leaning down closer to her.

"Most things at the school are because of us."

"Or Peeves." She said putting a finger in the air. "You guys can't take all the credit. Thankfully the Baron has been able to keep him out of our common room. He hid a scarf of mine and I have no clue where it is." Fred took a mental note.

They walked around Zonko's, Claire was picking up different objects examining them. Fred and George seemed to have a story for every product in the shop. "Hiccup sweets are a great prank for first years." Claire looked up at George.

"That's so mean."

"They love it. At least the Gryffindor ones do. It's almost a goal for them to be pranked by us." Fred took over George's thought again. Through the window what little sun had been there was setting, the sky a mix of gray and blue. The twins paid for their items and left the shop, snow crunching as they walked outside.

"Claire! There you are!"

She looked over as she heard her name, her eyes landing on the group she came with. They were waving for her to come over. "Well, I uh guess I better go." She seemed to only look at Fred when she spoke. "I'll see you guys later." She ran her fingers through her hair. "Bye George, and Lee." She paused for a moment. "Bye Fred." She jogged over to the group of girls beckoning her, Fred watched her hair bounce as she moved. A smile crept on his face.
