I woke up thinking it was a dream. I saw Harry still sleeping but I knew he was awake. Hagrid was really asleep though. I was going to wake Harry up but an owl swooped in so suddenly I made a small squeaking noise.

"Harry, look." I shook him 'till he opened his eyes

He stood up and gave a little smile. He looked happy that it wasn't a dream. After a few seconds of silence other than the owl tapping, he finally asked Hagrid what to do.

We looked around his coat for money to pay the owl, we found a handful of strange looking coins.

"Give him 5 knuts." Hagrid grunted with his eyes still closed.

"Knuts?" Harry asked, looking at the bird.

"The little bronze ones."

I saw some and gave the owl 5 of them.

I looked at the coins and asked Hagrid,

"How do we pay for our things. You heard what our uncle said, he wont pay for anything" I said in my croaky voice.

Hagrid opened his eyes wide when he heard me speak.

"Oh- yeah- Don't worry about that," he stood up stretching and looked around for his umbrella, which is on his side.

He explained about our money left by our parents. A wizard bank called Gringgots, was run by goblins. Hagrid said while we were eating the sausages for breakfast. I now trust him to at least eat his food. I thought the bank was weird at first but then I bet there are more weird things in the wizard world that I don't know of.

We started to head off in a boat. Harry asked more questions about Gringgots and the Ministry of Magic while I sat quiet, looking around the scenery.

We arrived in the land. People stared at Hagrid 'cuz he's humongous. We rode the train and Hagrid asked for the list of everything we needed.

London at last. It was Harry and my first time there. We zoomed around the grounds with Hagrid by our side.

"Can we find these things here in London?" I asked while scanning through the list.

"If yeh know where to go," Hagrid answered.

We arrived in this shabby pub called 'The Leaky Cauldron'.

People recognized my brother and greeted him. Some even greeted me, I don't like the attention we're getting that much.

A nervous looking man greeted us, he was a Defense Against Dark Arts teacher in Hogwarts. His name was Professor Quirrel.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley." said Hagrid, excited to see our reactions when we entered the alley.

"Oh my fu- freaking gosh!" I said in the loudest voice I can. It was so loud Harry and Hagrid jumped.

"We're you about to swear?" Hagrid asked looking at me with a tint of anger from swearing

"No, oh look there, Harry." I pointed at a potion stand near us to change the subject.

A lot of witches and wizards are in each shop. Each shop sells different things I've never seen before. It was amazing all in all.

We entered Gringotts, there were goblins everywhere. They were just 3/4 of a head shorter than me, yeah I'm that short, but the goblins were a full head taller than Harry.

We rode a small cart to our vault, we couldn't talk to Hagrid, I think he'll be sick after this. Knew it, when we stopped Hagrid was so green. The vault opened and my eyes shined when we saw a lot of gold, silver, and bronze.

"All for both of you to share until you are of legal age of 17, then you can split the remainders up." Hagrid presented the vault after feeling a bit better.

Hagrid helped us get some money into each of our bags.

He explained the amount of each coin then we got back to the top. When we arrived and exited Gringotts-

"Hi! Hello," A girl about our age, as tall as Harry, and with long beautiful white-blonde hair and blue eyes approached us.

"Can I ask," he looked at Harry with a journal and quill in her hand.

"Were you raised in a Muggle household or even have a Muggle parent/ guardian? I'm pretty sure you're starting Hogwarts too!" she stared at Harry all curious.

"Er- yes?" Harry answered and looked at me. Me and Hagrid just stood there not knowing what to do.

"Oh wonderful, can you answer a quick question about Muggles for me, I'm doing a collective research about a topic and can I just ask, how old is your little sister? Does she understand how Muggle machines work too?" she pointed at me then she grabbed her journal and quill

"I'm not his little sister" I muttered under my breath and gave the girl a death glare.

"Er- wait, this is my twin sister she's starting Hogwarts too" Harry said in a nervous tone

"Oh, sorry..." the girl said and was clearly embarrassed

"Sorry m'lady but we have to go-" Hagrid said holding my hand gently and trying to walk away.

"No, it's ok Hagrid. We'll answer the question" Harry pulled Hagrid's robe. The blonde girl's face lit up.

"So what's your names? I'm Victoria Emerson, by the way, but you can call me Tori." she smiled

"I'm Harry Potter, Hagrid and-"

"Carly Potter, we're both starting Hogwarts this year" I said sarcastically and interrupted Harry. To his surprise I talked to a stranger.

Tori wrote down our names and cleared her throat. She didn't seem to recognize the name or she's just nice not to mention our popularity.

"Ok! So, what are fellyphones for? What do they do?" Tori asked

"What are what?" Harry asked

"Wait a minute-" she checked her journal "-Oh, I mean te-le-phones" she smiled sheepishly.

"It's a system for transmitting voices over a distance using wire or radio, by converting acoustic vibrations to electrical signals." I answered with my hands crossed and showing obvious signs of impatience. Harry had his mouth open and tried to talk, he failed.

Tori stared at her journal calculating what I just said.

"Can you just write that for me," she gave me her journal and quill. I immediately wrote what I said and gave it back to her

"Thank you so much guys. See you soon!" she waved and left skipping to her parents

"She was... nice," Hagrid finally said

"How did you know all that about telephones?" Harry asked while we stood on the steps of Gringotts.

"Books," I rolled my eyes.

He never seen me read a book and really read it, I just scan them. So I bet he's wondering about my hidden knowledge.

"I like her, very talkative" I nodded, finally breaking our silence

"Yeah. Hagrid what will we do next?" he leaned in to Hagrid

"Might as well get yer uniform" Hagrid nodded towards Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions

Hagrid suggested a pick-me-up in the Leaky Cauldron, we agreed and entered the shop.

"Hogwarts, dears?" Madam Malkin asked, holding a tape measure.

"Got the lot here- two other young students being fitted just now, in fact." she added

On the back of the shop, a boy with a pale pointed face was standing in a footstool while another witch pinned up his long black robes. A young girl sat in a stool bored and watching what it looked like her brother. When she saw us she immediately straightened up.

They both looked our age but the girl looked more sophisticated. She had white hair and brown roots, and light pink highlights, it must be dyed unlike her brother's.

Harry and I stood on a stool next to him

"Hullo," said the pale boy "Hogwarts too?" we nodded while a witch measured my arm length.

He kept on blabbing about brooms and something called Quidditch. He reminded me of Dudley.

"-Know what house you'll be?"

"No." we both said, shuddering.

"Well, no one really knows until they get to Hogwarts, do they, but I know I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been right-" he looked at his sister. She nodded lazily.

"but imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave wouldn't you." the boy finished.

"Don't say that." the other girl snapped but her brother just rolled his eyes.

The boy saw Hagrid, he insulted him. What an arsehole that boy is. Good thing his sister is more likeable.

"Do not say that" the girl said again, the boy rolled his eyes once more.

He asked about our parents. When we said they're dead, the siblings look terribly sorry.

Then he blabbed something if our parents are our kind. I felt a disturbed feeling. I don't even know what that means but his sister snapped again but before saying anything me and Harry were done with the fitting

"Well I'll see you both at Hogwarts, I supposed" both bid their goodbyes and Harry and I met Hagrid outside the shop he was holding Ice cream that looked so good.

"What's up?" Hagrid asked.

"Nothing." We lied while eating our ice cream.

As we shop for our things Harry asked about Quidditch and what the boy said in the Madam Malkin's

"-And what are Slytherin and Hufflepuff?"

"School houses. There are four. Everyone says Hufflepuff are a lot of duffers but-"

"I bet I'm Hufflepuff," said Harry gloomily, I looked at him and imitating the girl from the robe shop's-

"Don't say that." Harry gave me a little giggle that I appreciated.

"Better Hufflepuff than Slytherin," said Hagrid

Hagrid explained about Vol- I mean you-know-who's time at Hogwarts and was in the Slytherin house. He said exactly "There's not a single witch/ wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin."

Now it got me half-worried but I didn't care much 'cuz I get to go to a Magical School

Hagrid bought us a Snowy Owl as a present to share, even though we insisted not to buy us a present. We sounded like Professor Quirrel when he insisted on us keeping her.

Next was our wands, which I was most excited to buy. We arrived at Ollivanders, a wand shop owned by Mr. Garrick Ollivander.

I go first, Mr. Ollivander asked me which is my wand arm.

"I- I am right handed" I said looking at my hands. I'm actually ambidextrous, I can write with both hands, I don't know about wands, however.

He nodded and measured the different places in my hand. Mr. Ollivader gave me multiple wands and asked me to wave it, all of them didn't feel right and as soon as I waved them, other wands fell down fron their shelves. At last I found mine and it was surprisingly warm and when I waved it out of excitement, small but loud fireworks came out.

"Sorry, Sir" I muttered to him but he gave me a smile. I put down the wand on the counter to not cause any more trouble.

"Ah yes, Alder wood with a unicorn hair core, 13 inches and slightly springy flexibility" he said with a smile, picking up my wand from the counter and giving it to me.

I gave him seven gold Galleons and thanked him. It was Harry's turn.

Harry's experience was weird but we finally got back to the Leaky Cauldron.

We ate some food before we left. It was officially our best-birthday-ever, so far.

I hope that we were as good as our parents and aren't just failures.

Hagrid handed us two envelopes

"Yer' ticket to Hogwarts" Hagrid said

"First o' September- King's Cross- It's all on yer ticket. Any problems with the Dursleys, send me a letter with yer owl, she'll know where to find me... See you soon Potter Twins"

I gave Hagrid a big smile with some teeth showing.

"She seems to be comfortable with you now, Hagrid. She'll talk to you more from now on. " Harry teased and punched me gently on the upper arm.

"Oh shut up." I snapped and gave him a gentle pat on the back of his head.

"Ouch!" Harry complained and scratched the where part I hit him.

"I can see that, Harry." Hagrid laughed while Harry and I gave each other death glares.

We entered the recently arrived train and waved Hagrid goodbye as the train moved. He was gone in a blink of an eye.
