A/N: So, how is it going so far? I can't believe that I came up with three chapters in three days and that too double the number of words per chapter than I usually write.

What can I say, I have been really stressed throughout the week and writing is therapeutic to me? So, yeah, you gotta do whatever you gotta to do to keep going for another day right?

I promise I'm not depressed. Also, I might be a pathological liar. Okay that was a joke. Things are pretty bad here in my country with the second wave or third wave or whatever and I have had to cancel a lot of appointments for work and important stuff and at the same time it's really rough that most of friends are either recovering or admitted and fighting for their lives that it's just so difficult at times, so I have been just writing in my free time and just trying my best to keep going.

Okay, putting the sad stuff away. Time for shout outs or well a segment I will call 'My Favorite Reads' or something better as the story goes on but so far that's what I'm going with right now. There is literally no criteria for how and when I add these stories to the "list" this is just me wanting to share the stories that I love and enjoy with others who may or may not have read them yet.

The one that I'm really enjoying these days is 'Missing Piece' by Talbal. I think that this is the first one the writer has posted for this fandom and I'm in love with the story. I don't want to give anything away from this story because you should really go ahead and give it a read, if you haven't. But I wished that this was how things went down when a certain event transpired for our favorite couple instead of how things actually went down. There's a moment that they shared that was truly so pure when they were there for each other which I truly loved and have reread it a couple of times because it is so good!

Anyway, that was about all I had to say for this chapter. I really hope to keep this train going about updating every day, but I don't think this chapter will be going up today, but I'll try my level best to keep the chapters coming.

Please read and review, it makes my day to get your feedback about how you're liking things so far and I'll try to keep things flirty and sexy!

Chapter 4

Callie was running late today. She just had so much on her mind and much more to do that she just felt so overwhelmed with everything. The producers of her show were trying to experiment with the performances and add new things to her routine which was a bit mentally and physically taxing for her. Her routine had a lot more challenging dance moves than Callie was used to. She felt like every time she got home, she was sore, tired and hurting.

Previously, she was responsible for her choreography and she had the choice of choosing her own songs. Now, things were getting a bit more tough for her. The production crew did not anticipate that the show would be such a hit that they not only had men but women too come to the show.

They had truly left a mark on the city and they were not backing down. But of course that meant that things got a lot harder and challenging for her, but the brunette loved it!

This is the life she wanted, to sing and dance in front of the world, to showcase her talent. But most of all, the feeling of rush, the feeling of freedom she got when she stripped in front of the crowd was amazing. She loved it when the crowd went wild and cheered her and called out her name. This is what she had struggled for and now she was starting to make a name for herself, she wasn't going to back down now.

Yes, it got a little difficult for her with the extra practice hours and the toll it had taken on her voice. She never had a morning routine before. It was always run run run for her. Wake up, off to work and then hope to catch a couple hours of sleep before she had to go back to performing on her stage. It had taken a toll on herself and led her to her breaking point.

But Callie took a step back and reassessed her life. She started practicing yoga early in the mornings. She started doing longer voice warm ups because she never wanted to feel her voice giving up on her ever again. She even incorporated stretching in her routine after she came back home. Even though she wanted to sleep, but knowing that tomorrow she'd feel much better if she spent fifteen minutes working out those sore muscles, she powered through it.

Today was the last day that Addison was in town before she had to go back to Los Angeles. She had enjoyed a nice week with her where the redhead came to several of her shows and cheered her on as she performed. Callie didn't realize that the show was all sold out and they were booked out for three weeks now. But being one of the performers of the show and all, she managed to pull a few strings for her friend and got her in. Of course if Addison got to go to the show, Mark also wanted some of that action, so she got him a ticket as well. What she didn't expect was for Mark to buy a lap dance for Addie from her.

But that was a fun night. Watching the surgeon squirming under her as Mark laughed at Addie was so challenging that Callie too failed to keep a straight face.

The thing that was the most fun for her was when Addie tried to drag a fifty dollar bill up her body but couldn't stop smiling that the manager came by asking her if the customer was not being 'pleasant'. Never had she seen Addie be so awkward and embarrassed at the same time. Needless to say, the brunette told her production team that they were her family and they were fine. In fact, it was true, Mark and Addie were not just her friends, they had become her family.

And now thirty three percent of her family was leaving her.

The surgeon's flight was scheduled for the evening so they had enough time to squeeze in a lunch date before she had to leave for the airport. So, Callie took the day off from rehearsals and was racing to meet Addie at the hospital.

Callie had a fairly simple outfit on for today. She was dressed in her regular rehearsal clothes with black yoga pants and a pink sports bra peeking under her grey muscle shirt which she paired it up with some beat up white converse which had become grey over the years. The brunette would have worn her black leather jacket but it had been raining all day. She had her long black hair cascading down her shoulders in loose waves. Since she would have to apply a shit ton of hair spray and however her alter ego liked to do with her hair that say, so as Callie, she liked to keep it simple and just let her hair be and do its own thing.

The brunette had reached the hospital in time as she made her way to the elevator. Her ankle had been killing her all morning. Maybe she should have it checked out after all. Her guess was that since the weather was bad it had flared up her foot. Good thing she was already in the hospital.

As soon as Callie got in the elevator she was confused, she didn't know where labor and delivery was. Damn it! She should have asked someone before she got in the elevator.

"Hold the elevator please!" someone called out.

Oh thank god, maybe this person was a doctor or nurse or someone who worked in the hospital and could tell her where she could find Addison. Callie held the door open button and waited for the stranger to enter the elevator.

Oh hell no! She could have dealt with anyone walking in and sharing an elevator ride with literally anyone in the hospital, hell anyone in the world. Okay maybe not her parents, that would have been more awkward but definitely not this blonde who thought she was just a dumb stripper and had stood her up at her own show.

Arizona entered the elevator and was surprised to see the brunette in it. The last she had seen her was three days ago when she had stopped by for lunch with her friends. Ever since then she tried to extract information about the brunette from Mark but all she had gotten to know about her was that she had no man or woman and she was not looking for one. Either way, Arizona would be more than happy to get to be her friend, she hated that the brunette was always sad and reserved. Someone as gorgeous as her should have to feel so low all the time.

The blonde turned to her and smiled "Hey, nice to see you again," Arizona greeted her, but Callie didn't want to exchange pleasantries with such an unpleasant person. Besides she was only going to be spending what? Ten maybe fifteen seconds on the elevator, so it just wasn't worth it to her. So, the brunette just put on her most convincing fake smile and used it, before she looked away at the elevator door closing in front of her. She really doesn't like her and doesn't even want to try and engage into a conversation with her.

Arizona looked over at the buttons of the elevator and found that the brunette had pressed none. She got this feeling that she didn't want to talk to her and she was more than happy to give her her own precious space but it was like the brunette wanted to talk to her but then again every time she did, or she would try, she'd get shot down.

Anyway, the blonde turned towards her companion and asked "Umm… So which floor?"

"Maternity ward? I guess."

Arizona reached forward and pushed the button before pressing the button to the peds floor. "I pressed the button for OB ? I guess that's where you want to go?" the brunette nodded but she didn't bother answering.

The blonde wasn't sure what it was but she was attracted to this woman, it wasn't that she was just physically attracted to her, but there was just something about that made her feel like she wanted to get to know the person standing beside her.

"I'm heading there later in the day. But I'm assuming you're here to met Addison? I think it's her last day here." It came as no surprise to Arizona when the brunette beside her just nodded and didn't bother replying to her. The blonde sighed. Maybe things weren't meant to be, that maybe she should just give up on her. But the thing was, she just couldn't bear to see her sad.

Suddenly, the elevator stopped as it shook in place. Callie looked at Arizona, something like this had never happened to her before. Was the elevator going to fall? Was she going to die today? And then the lights on the elevator went off as this painful white light took up the room.

"Are you kidding me!" Callie yelled.

The blonde looked at her, now the bitch talks! Were her previous advances so worthless that the freaking elevator had to stop for her to do more than nod at her?

This was not Arizona's first time the elevator had quit on her, she had been living in Seattle for quite sometime, because of the erratic weather they seemed to be have all the fucking time, it was nothing new to her. So, the surgeon quietly walked to the one side of the elevator before she sat down.

"So what do we do now? Do we press the emergency button or like try to talk to an operator or something?"

"Umm… we could."

"Like that is the best thing to do right now isn't it? People outside don't know that we are trapped in here, they need to know right?" this was the most she had heard from the brunette. "HELP! WE ARE TRAPPED IN HERE! PLEASE!" she shouted.

"Okay, you need to calm down."

"Why are you so normal?!"

The blonde got up and made her way to the brunette "Because this is Seattle, stuff like this happens! Now calm down and wait for the generators to kick in!" Arizona didn't mean to yell but she couldn't help it, she had to do something to snap her out of it "Do you want to sit down? We could be here for a while."

The brunette looked at her "How long is a while?"

"Umm, could be a couple of minutes or-"

"Or we die in here?" Callie completed her sentence. She was freeing out, she didn't like enclosed spaces. She felt suffocated as if the walls were caving in on her. "I can not die right now! I can't! I haven't accomplished anything!"

Arizona reached for her and rubbed her arms "Nobody is dying here alright? And good for you, if you tried to die, I'll make sure you come back. I'm a doctor. It's what I do" Arizona said as she smiled at her. It seemed that her little attempt at a joke had gotten the brunette to calm down. "Now, why don't we sit?" Callie nodded and let the blonde guide her.

"I'm Arizona by the way, but I know you already know that and I know you hate that you are here and that you are stuck with me, but it would make time go by faster if we just talked" Arizona said as she sat beside her. She was close enough that their shoulders were touching but not close enough to make her happy.

The blonde waited for the blonde to respond but the brunette didn't say anything, oh well, the blonde sighed. "Alright then, let's sit quietly," she said as she closed her eyes, maybe she could squeeze in a small nap, as a doctor those were rare.

"Callie."

Were Arizona's ears ringing or did the person beside her talk to her of her own volition?

"I'm sorry what?"

"My name is Callie and I don't hate you."

Arizona held out her hand "Well Callie, nice to meet you. I'm Arizona." Why was she nervous? She was just sitting beside a stranger in a freaking elevator. "So, what do you do Callie?"

"Oh, I'm an artist," that was an answer she gave away as a habit. But she did consider herself as an artist. Her songs, her moves, everything were her art piece. She wasn't ashamed of saying that she's basically a sophisticated stripper, but Arizona was a fleeting person in her life, she didn't want to tell her what she actually did and have her judge her again. Being trapped in an elevator was awkward enough.

The blonde's suspicion was right "Oh, so you paint or something?" she asked.

Callie smirked. "Yeah, or something."

"Well I'm a pediatric surgeon," people who weren't doctors didn't know what her specialty meant so Arizona explained further. "Oh, I'm like the doctor who operates on tiny humans."

She saw Callie smile. Dame, she had the most gorgeous smile ever. "Yeah, I know what peds is."

"Oh right! Addison and Mark of course."

Suddenly Callie felt the illusion shatter as her reality shifted from those azure eyes to the confined space she was trapped in "When will this elevator start?" It already felt like she was trapped in here for days. "Does this happen a lot in Seattle?"

"Yeah, the rain messes things up pretty bad" but everyone from Seattle already knows this, the blonde wondered. "Are you not from Seattle?"

"Nope."

"Oh! Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking?"

Callie sighed, "I'm from Miami."

The brunette knew that the possibility of the blonde recognizing her was slim. This was the second time she had seen her out of her makeup and corset, so if she did recognize her, she would have said so the first time. Also, she wouldn't have insulted her on her face and tried to come up with a half assed apology as to why she didn't wait for her.

As soon as the word 'Miami' left Callie's mouth Arizona found herself back at the burlesque club as she watched the performer dance for her. However this time, she was the only one in audience and Miss Miami's eyes were only on her. There were no sweaty men trying to get her attention, Alex wasn't there whispering in her ear that this was the woman he wanted a lap dance from. It was just them alone, together in the club.

She watched as the brunette seductively climbed down the stairs as she swayed those curvy hips. Miss Miami grabbed the handles of her chair as she pulled her closer to her.

"Relax Mami," she whispered "I got you."

Her voice got Arizona to go from zero to a hundred in a heartbeat. The brunette leaned forward as her fingers ghosted over her face, delicately tracing her forehead, her cheekbone as they finally reached their destination and tilted her chin upwards before she climbed up on her chair. Arizona could feel herself getting wet and her lips throbbing as she danced on her lap.

The blonde felt bold this time, so she reached out and grabbed her waist to keep her steady, or well, make sure she wouldn't leave her or get off of her. The song that the brunette was singing felt like it was going on forever. Arizona wanted to lean up and kiss those plump lips but she didn't want to do that mid performance.

This time Miss Miami was a bit more bold. Instead of grabbing her hands and putting them on herself, she was touching the blonde instead. The performer stared at her shoulders before she gently stripped Arizona out of her jacket and dropped it beside her.

Goosebumps had dotted her arms as Miss Miami ran her hands down her arms before she grabbed the bottom of the blonde's shirt and pulled it straight up. The air hit her overheated skin making her shiver. It was that or the way the performer was looking at her was the reason what caused her to tremble.

She felt Miss Miami leaning down her as she caught her lips between hers "Hmm," Arizona couldn't help but moan as she kissed her. Fucking finally!

"You like that Mami?" she asked as she pulled away.

Mesmerized by her, Arizona nodded as she leaned up as she kissed the performer again. Once she had gotten a taste of those lips she wanted some more, but Miss Miami had a different thought as she reached behind the blonde and unhooked her bra with a simple swipe of her fingers.

"You saw mine Mami. In fact, you even got to play with them, it's only fair I saw yours" Arizona suddenly felt nervous. She felt the lights of the club light up even more brightly. The surgeon was not a performer, she was not the person who went to a club to strip. "Relax Mami," she said as she touched her chin, "give that head of yours a little break."

Arizona nodded. She wasn't as brave as the person on her lap.

"Mami, how about I close my eyes and let my lips feel them first. Does that make you feel better?"

The blonde smiled. How did the performer manage to soothe her? It was like she could read her mind even before the thought popped up in her head. And just like that, she was back. She saw Miss Miami closing her eyes as she leaned down and kissed her before she started trailing her lips down her neck and kissing her on her collarbone. Soon her hand was on her bra as she pulled the garment away from her. Arizona felt her breath tickling her nipples. They were already erect demanding to be felt, demanding to have those lips on her.

"Arizona?" Callie shook the blonde sitting beside "I think I lost you for a moment. You okay?"

The blonde looked at the person sitting beside her. Suddenly it dawned on her, she wasn't at the burlesque club, she was in the elevator with Callie having a very vivid daydream about the performer she had visited more than a week ago.

"Yeah" the blonde swallowed "I'm sorry. I have a lot on my mind."

The brunette saw a tinge of red gracing Arizona's face. What was going on with her? One moment she couldn't stop talking and then the next moment things were radio silent.

She wasn't the villain she had thought of her to be. Callie was pretty sure that she had somewhat of a panic attack and she was so grateful that she calmed her down and got her out of her inner thoughts.

Callie was aware of the advances Arizona was making at her, but she didn't trust people easily. She had gotten her heart broken one too many times that it was extremely difficult for her to let people in. But since the blonde helped her earlier, the least she could do is talk to her.

"Tough case?" Callie asked. She had two best friends who were doctors, she was no stranger to the fact that surgeons always had their patients on their mind.

The blonde smiled. "Yeah, I'll probably need to go back and get her details." Arizona said but it felt more like she was talking to herself.

"Her?"

"Um… The patient."

"Okay" Callie said as she crossed her ankles. Damn it! It still hurt. The brunette couldn't help as the pain travelled up her leg. She just hoped that Arizona didn't notice it.

The blonde heard her exhale as if she was breathing through pain "What's wrong?" Shit, Arizona had noticed it.

"Oh it's nothing."

"Come on! We have nothing to do here!" The blonde started "Besides, don't you want to get a free consultation with the country's finest pediatric surgeon?" The brunette gave her a look that said 'Really? Cocky much?', "That was a joke, I'm not that kind of person."

Callie smiled "I know how jokes work Arizona, you don't have to explain them to me" Thank god, she knew that she didn't mean to sound so full of herself. She was finally getting the brunette to talk to her, she didn't want Callie to go running back to her shell.

"Now, where were we?" Arizona scooted down to Callie's ankle as she took her foot in her lap as she untied her shoelace. The performer saw a strand of blonde hair escaping her ponytail and falling over her face as she concentrated on her leg. The whole 'I'm confident and I know what I'm doing' look was really working for her, the only thing that was missing was a pair of thick black spectacles resting on her nose and she'd look like a sexy librarian. God! She had a thing for sexy librarians!

Callie couldn't help it, she leaned over and tucked the fallen hair behind her ear. Arizona looked up and saw an emotion in her eyes that felt like she had never seen before but at the same time it felt familiar "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-"

"Hey, it's okay. Thank you," she liked that Callie's palm was still on her face lightly caressing her. She could swear that this felt familiar to her, but she couldn't put a finger on what it was. She tore away from her gaze as she looked down at her foot.

There was no swelling, no redness. It looked fine to her. So, she moved it lightly.

"You sure you know your bones?" Callie teased. Things had gotten quiet all of a sudden after she touched Arizona's face. She didn't want things to get awkward between them especially since she was giving her an exam.

The blonde feigned a hurt look on her face "It might be a while since my last Ortho rotation, but trust me I got this." Arizona smiled. "Let me know if anything hurts okay?"

Arizona moved her ankle around a bit, checking her range of motion, she knew that it wasn't a sprain so she was looking for muscle damage or ligament tears or anything concerning.

"Ouch!"

"I'm sorry, but it doesn't look like anything serious. So that's good," Arizona smiled at her. "You don't need an x-ray or anything, but I can write you a prescription for painkillers."

"No, I'm good, I don't like taking that stuff."

"You are hardcore huh? Well, I can tell you a few things you could do to keep the pain at a minimum."

"I'm icing it everyday and stretching it before going to bed and the first thing when I wake up. But I think till the weather doesn't get better, my pain won't subside."

Arizona was impressed, the beauty in front of her knew her medicine. "Oh! Dr. Sloan and Dr. Montgomery have taught you well," the brunette smiled. Little did she know that she had had her fair share of med school to thank for her knowledge.

Callie reached over to grab her shoe to put it back on. She wasn't really looking for a consultant but at least that had led to something between the two of them. Addie was right, Arizona didn't seem like a bad person. Sure, she stood her up but maybe she had her own reason for it. It wasn't like she was looking for someone to date. Maybe the blonde and she could be friends. That was a good thing right? Meeting new people in a new city. Sure, Arizona had made it clear that she didn't approve of what she did for a living, which was fine. Most people didn't approve of it, so maybe it could be something that they could avoid. Besides, she wasn't looking to be best friends with her.

As Arizona watched the brunette putting her show on, she noticed how hot she looked. Callie looked like she had come from the gym or was going to it. What killed the blonde was the hot pink bra that was playing peek-a-boo with her. She loved how tousled her hair looked. God, did she want to straddle her lap right now and run her hands through that luscious mane of hers.

She loved how Callie was responding to her. Maybe she could be friends with her, maybe they could be something more, but right now she was more than happy to be something to her.

Suddenly the elevator hummed to life as it started moving. She wasn't sure how much time she spent in the elevator but she was happy about the progress she made with Callie.

Callie, she finally got her name and it had only taken a minor anxiety attack and being trapped in the elevator to get that.

The doors opened to the maternity floor, damn Arizona was sick and tired of seeing her leave. "So, I'll see you around?"

"Maybe," Callie replied as she chuckled before making her way out the elevator.

There it was again, those curves stared back at her as she swayed those hips. Although this time she could clearly see the outline of her thong through those tight yoga pants.

Arizona couldn't help but wonder, did the carpet match the drapes?

Yes! she was willing to bet that there was an equally sexy pink thong hidden under those yoga pants that matched her hot pink bra.

Arizona just couldn't wait to see it rather than imagine it.

A/N: How was this one? I hope you liked it. It's difficult to come up with sexy times when they don't exactly like each other, but we are getting there. At least Callie doesn't hate Arizona now, so we have made some progress!

Also, I don't know why, but I can't seem to see your reviews? Is it a FanFiction problem or something? If you are an author too, please let me know if this is something you are dealing with too.

Please review! It does help!
