"We reached the sea. Now?"
D woke up and replied.
"Arab Sea, 20th Parallel North. 1,900 miles from Mother Base. You will see a boogey. An enemy F-4 Fantom."
Then D opened the door and got the M134 minigun ready.
The enemy plane appeared behind the chopper after a while and shot a missile.
Pequod started evasive manoveurs and used the flares, while D shooted with the minigun.
The enemy aircraft got in position and shot a laser guided missile.
Venom was shoorting with the other minigun but a sudden movement of the helicopter made him fall on the floor.
Now Quiet appeared and manned the gun, quickly destroying the LGM.
Venom touched the shoulder of Quiet, and D felt a streak of jealousy that couldn't hide.
He barely controlled his impulse of taking the knife and cut Venom's hand.
Quiet then took her Mosin back, aimed and shot the pilot of the enemy fighter plane.
The plane fell into the Ocean.
Venom turned around to check if his best soldier was fine and saw D's face.
"These assholes of Cypher." lied D.
Then D shouted to Pequod.
"Told you about the awesome stuff! Was I right?"
Pequod approved.
D remarked.
"You are a good man, Pequod. You will be the only Diamond Dog to not treat Quiet like shit."
The chopper reached Mother Base, two other Blackhawks were now escorting them.
A red dot appeared on Quiet's chest.
It was from the laser sight of a sniper sitting on the next helicopter.
Another one was pointing the minigun of the chopper pointed to them.
Near the helipad, Miller, Ocelot and black clad soldiers were ready for the "welcome party".
Quiet jumped and disappeared.
D followed her by rappealing with a rope.
The soldiers'rifles were pointed towards Quiet.
D broke the tensions.
"Welcome to Mother Base. You will like it there. " said gesticulating like a used car salesman and pointing the fingers everywhere.
"These are the Diamond Dogs. He is Kazuhira Benedict Miller. He is Venom Snake a.k.a. Big Boss. And he is ... Revolver Pussy. Is because he like dicks inside him."
Ocelot lost his temper and shouted.
"I'm Revolver Ocelot. You are playing with fire, kid."
D shrugged and said.
"Ocelot. Pussy. They are all cats. Beside I know what you will do. Shadow Moses, Big Shell, Guns of the Patriots. What you wil do with Liquid's arm is REALLY disgusting. Russki sobaka!"
D continued his speech with Quiet.
"Anyway, I got some presents for you." and went to the crates that he prepared before.
He opened one of them and took a bouquet of red roses.
He offered them to the silent woman.
D smiled and winkled his eye.
"I hope you like them. You favorite song mentions flowers so I guess you like flowers."
Quiet walked towards D and took the roses.
She smelled them.
Her angry face become neutral.
She was getting dangerously closer to D, but he had cold blood and stood still.
Her face was near D's face.
Quiet gave D a small kiss on the cheek.
D was astonished.
"Well, better than expected. Anyway, I got other presents." and run to the other crates.
He took a sniper rifle and gave it to Quiet, then he described the weapon.
"A VSS Vintorez which means Treadcutter. Is integrally suppressed and it have semi and automatic fire. The Soviets will invent it in the 1987, three years from now. But I have a version from the 21st century, the VSSM."
The female sniper checked the weapon.
D took another weapon and showed it to Quiet.
"If you prefer bolt-action, this a VSK Vykhlop, Exhaust. Production started in 2004."
Quiet seemed to prefer the second rifle.
"In any case, these rifles are like you. Silent, lethal and... beautiful." commented D.
D took two magazines from his vest and gave them to Quiet.
"The VSS takes 9x39mm, the Vykhlop use 12,7x55mm STs-130."
Kaz went literally of his mind.
"Are you crazy? You are giving weapons to her!"
D replied calmly.
"I trust her enoght to give her a loaded weapon. Beside you should do the same. She should be already trusted because of what she did to that plane. Not to mention what she will do for the kid, Shabani's friend! She will risk her life!"
Quiet was confused.
Kazuhira was still raging.
"How we can trust you? Tell me, why you didn't killed Skullface when you knew his whereabouts? Why you weren't at Smasei Fort? And she is with Cypher and you are helping her."
D replied.
"Ok. Free intel. Skullface is Hungarian. Szelek for be precise. I don't want him to know my existence. I came from another universe. I don't exist here, like all of you don't exist in mine. I am your secret weapon. And remember that Paz was with Cypher too."
And another time Kaz lost his mind.
Even Venom Snake had difficulty in controlling himself. Which was understandable considering that he saw Pacifica die with his own eyes.
D saved himself.
"But she tried to save MSF by sacrificing herself."
Kaz agreed.
"You intel isn't much useful but you are alright."
"Beside since Ocelot will propose to show you Quiet's skills by shooting at the helicopter's blades.."

D quickly turned to Diamond Dogs.
"And now I will teach you how to properly behave with Quiet."
The soldiers had all of their attention to the guy.
"First. Do not try to cover her. She breath from her skin. She would make you understand by making you breathing with tubes. Beside it would be stupid, trying to cover a beauty like that." and made a gesture, like he was showing the 1st prize in a gameshow.
Venom was shocked to see how a good soldier was now behaving like a jester.
"Second. Some of you will make a decision that understandable but that is ten times smarter and thousand times dumber. Even if she couldn't say "no", she has her own way to tell you that. The Diamond Dogs watched it, but when she woke up in the video, the soldier freaked out.

The video ended and the soldiers stepped back, especially after noticing Quiet.
D laughed.

The soldier were scared shitless.
Quiet's confusion increased.
That didn't happened! Not yet, at least. Who was this guy? Where he is from? How did he get this film?
D continued.

While he was getting closer to her, her markings appeared on his face.
D started stepping back.

D started humming Quiet's theme and Quiet calmed down.
D resumed again.
"Anyway, I put some comics with examples so you don't get hurt. Simply to not imitate them. They are in the last crate."
A Diamond Dog took a comic book. The scenes drawed were about a DD soldier doing something idiotic and getting killed as results.
D giggled.
"Today I saved a lot of you from being wounded or killed. She was aggressive even before..."
Quiet was paralized.

Venom had enought and shouted.
"Take her to her cell."
When Snake was almost touching Quiet's shoulder again, D screamed.
"No! Don't touch her!"
All of the eyes were on him now.
D took a tape and played it on a iDroid.
He reminded them of the deal.
Ocelot protested.
"We need to uncover what she really is..."
D was visibly angry.
"I am an expert on Quiet. Especially her biology and her communication. I can be an interpreter Quiet to English. I know enought. I even learned how many holes her thighs have by heart."
Ocelot smirked.
"Tell how you become an expert on her..."
"Reading her Metal Gear wikia page on Internet." replied D.
All the presents had not a clue, since it was 1984 and Internet was not invented yet.
"We need to do medical exams on her."
D almost roared.

D continued shouting.

D calmed down.

D told them.
"Well Mr. Miller, I know the truth about Ismael like you do."
Kaz's eyes shown surprise even behind the sunglasses.
D took a more serious tone.
"Quiet's biology is unique and extraordinary. I know almost everything about that but there are still some misteries. Most of her past is a mistery for example. For example I don't know her country or her name. I have guessed two country based on the datas but is just a theory."
Then he returned the one of before.
"For the name.. I think something sexy like Cindy, Molly, Juliet..."
D looked Quiet with lust in his eyes.
"Or maybe Stefanie. That would be ironic..."
D took his phone again and played one of "Quiet's tapes".
In the tape, Ocelot was discussing about Quiet's literacy.
"And like Ocelot will say, I don't know if Quiet is a illiterate. I suppose she can read or my "defensive protection system" would be worthless." said D pointing his own t-shirt.
Quiet felt offended but she quickly realized.
Oh that explain the balloons and the t-shirt.
D touched his troath that was becoming sore from all the talk, so he took a bottle of water and drank.
"Anyway. Ya yebat ona. Then the info."
Ocelot found it the good occasion to get a "revenge".
"Of course. You main "objective" was to have sex with her."
Quiet now looked at D with disappointment and disgust.
D invited the woman to follow him but the marks on her face told that she didn't want.
"Do you prefer to be tortured by that Russian homosexual? Choose the language of gratitude and spread your legs." said D and winkled again at her.
Quiet was thinking.
Maybe if they were alone together, she could kill him. Or even better hurt him.
That perveted pig.
So she choose to follow him.
Meanwhile Miller and Venom were talking.
"Boss, you are going to regret this!" shouted Miller. "That woman and that guy..."
'"I know. They know our location." replied Venom.
Miller remarked.
"Who is that guy plan anyway? He is probably here to support that woman and to help her in her assassination plan."
Venom looked Kaz into his eyes.
"Either way, one of these days we're gonna to have to kill her, and probably him too. But now is not the time."
Venom took a pause and finally said the words that Miller was expecting.
"When time comes, I will pull the trigger."
