"But who was controlling it?" asked Fred.

"The DJ, of course" Velma said. Seeing his number was up, the DJ tried to run, but Diggle blocked his way. "Not only could he control the lights and sounds, he could make the ghost appear and disappear like magic."

The Arrow turned his bow and arrow onto the frightened DJ. "Who sent you?!" he demanded.

The DJ raised his hands in surrender. "I don't know! I don't know! I just got a message that someone would pay me for playing that ghost tape and getting rid of you. Please don't hurt me!"

The Arrow tossed the DJ back to Diggle. "Tie him up," he growled. "Let the cops have him. I want his boss."

The Arrow kicked the DJ booth angrily and the ghost music started again. Velma gasped. "Jinkies! I heard Malcolm Merlyn humming that today!"

"How would he know that song unless he wrote it?" Fred finished.

The Arrow punched his fist into the palm of his hand. "I'll give that creep a piece of my mind — and an arrow to the knee — next time I see him," he growled.

"Why don't you just capture him and hand him over to the cops like this guy?" asked Fred.

"He's too powerful, too high-profile," Felicity said as she dialed the police. "His lawyers have lawyers."

"You've done enough," the Arrow said. "I don't want to drag you into my world."

Once the DJ was safely behind bars, Team Arrow and Mystery Incorporated met back up in the Arrowcave.

"Well, Mystery Incorporated," the Arrow began, "I thank you. And if Oliver Queen was here, I'm sure he would thank you, too, for saving his nightclub."

"We're always glad to help," said Fred. "Right, gang?" Everyone nodded except Velma, who was trying very hard not to laugh.

"I'll take you out to your van," the Arrow said. "It's still not safe even if it is morning."

"I sent Diggle out to fill the tires and get it gassed up," Felicity said.

"Excellent," said Fred. "We have to get to Jump City before nightfall. Something about space monsters from an interdimensional portal at Stone Labs."

Mystery Incorporated followed the Arrow up the street towards their van.

Diggle was nowhere to be seen, but a man in a business suit was waiting to meet them. "Sorry I'm late," the man said. "I'm Oliver Queen. I heard that you and the Arrow helped catch the creep who was haunting my nightclub."

"It was no trouble, Mr. Queen, sir," said Fred.

Oliver held up a hand. "Call me Ollie. Everyone else does."

While the rest of Mystery Incorporated talked about the case, Velma looked from Ollie to the Arrow and back again. She was so sure that Oliver Queen was the Arrow, but now that they were standing next to each other…

She shook her head to clear her thoughts and boarded the van. Their next adventure was around the corner and she had to keep a clear head.
