"Wow… Just look at all these mirrors." Jessica said.
"Yes. This place has a lot of mirrors around here." Belladonna said.
"Reminds us of Mirage Mansion." Luke said.
"Only this time, the mirrors aren't alive." Cheetah said.
"Yes, that was actually pretty creepy." Tear said.
"Still, it's actually pretty nice. I mean, I'm no fan of halls of mirrors myself, but I can see the work put into this place." Jade said.
"Of course you would." Luke said.
"Plus, there isn't much left before we're done here, so we may as well take in the sights while we can." Belladonna said.
The group enters a battle of wits with a sort of magician-like figure before they make their way to a sort of desert.
"And here we are at the desert." Jessica said.
"I'm glad David is not here for this. He'd be having a fit having to go through this." Zamazenta said.
"It's not really that bad. Deserts just make his powers all muddy." Guy said.
"We saw it for ourselves back in Alabasta." Cheetah said.
"Yep. The kid really did wonders against Crocodile, despite his concerns of his powers working in the desert." Captain Cold said.
"I guess we really did owe a lot to him, especially in his early days." Guy said.
"I remember his early days." Cheetah said. "After all, that's when he met us. Back then, he was a hot mess. There were even points where he felt he was in over his head, even the first few times we fought. But ironically, it was Marina Island where he started to find his footing."
"Why is it ironic?" Koren asked.
"Because that was when I actually indirectly helped him." Cheetah said.
"You mean when you brought along Apollomon, right?" Zamazenta asked.
"Yes. Initially, it was so I could fight him again, but when I was nearly killed by Uzaki Hitomi, that...Ratel… Ishihara told me what happened with Wonder Woman after Brainiac was defeated. After hearing what happened, I merely decided to bide my time until I take her down first." Cheetah said.
"Now that you mention it, you had a lot of opportunities to kill him while he was still recovering from the first time he used his God Mode's second stage, but you never took them." Jade said. "Maybe you've actually started to trust him a little since then."
"Perhaps. And judging from how well the two of us work together… I can say that it was the right call." Cheetah said.
"Seeing as how Zacian and I chose the both of you as our champions… You sure did." Zamazenta said with a smile and wink.
The group soon did battle with a stone idol inside a pyramid before they came face-to-face with an undead pirate.
"An undead pirate? How original." Zenji said sarcastically.
"But still, he was a weakness. We might be able to weaken him with those barrels." Belladonna said.
"I'm on it." Yangus said as he threw a barrel at the pirate, stunning him for the group to take down.
"Well, that's one pirate that won't be roaming the seas anymore." George said as the final key appeared.
"The final key. Now there's only one fight left." Cheetah said.
"Yes. That jewel will soon get what's coming to him! Come on, people! Let's get moving and end this!" Wario said.
