(I'm kind of sad that this is the last part of my "Who is in Control" one shot series, but I had tons of fun writing it. I got attached to the plot and making the story of the series stand out. The fight scenes, the dirty jokes, giving Sero the love he deserves as an underrated character, a plot twist or two...I loved it and making an actual story that doesn't completely revolve around a romantic relationship is refreshing. I chose MORE by K/DA to be the theme song for this chapter and I recommend starting the song/loop at the "*'" point for the best experience as usual.

Before I let you start reading, trigger warning for violence! If you don't like that kind of thing, I recommend you maybe scroll through the fight scenes.

Who Is In Control: Pt. 4- Looks Like You Could Use Some More [ACTION]

"Where is it...75 to 85...where is it..." Jaclyn Perry mumbled while cautiously following the blonde scientist's directions. "There! Okay, good..." She whispered to herself. "Damn it, the door is locked..." Diamond groaned softly and molded the security cameras above her into crumpled up pieces of metal. The manipulation hero was shrinking their size and stuffing them into her pouch. "Hi Diamond-Ch-!" Diamond covered Toga's mouth with her hand. "Is this where the kiddies are being kept? Ew, child abuse..." The blonde member of the League of Villains commented with a frown, her voice muffled from under Jaclyn's hand.

"You have to promise me to be quiet, okay? We're too close to saving Mira to afford any setbacks now." Diamond whispered nervously, taking her hand off of the blonde's face. Fortunately, Toga nodded calmly and licked the blood off one of her knives; unintentionally transforming into one of the guards she killed. "Let's go!" She mumbled in approval and let Jaclyn pick at the lock with a piece of scrap metal from her pouch. "Oh my...holy fucking Shigaraki..." The black-haired pro hero muttered softly with disapproval at the young boys and girls in plexiglass cells. There was a little bed in each of the cells and a toilet next to it and curtains for maintaining their privacy. "I thought-" The blonde disguised as a burly, muscular guard teased. She startled her companion with a deep voice. "No, Toga. These kids...they're practically in a prison for blood samples and I thought Mira was the only one... We have to save them." Diamond frowned as her dark brown eyes glimmered with heartbreak and empathy. "Yeah. Even I wasn't treated like this..." Toga muttered solemnly.

"Mommy!" A familiar voice rang in their ears. "Mira! We're going to get you out of there, sweetie. I promise." Diamond rushed in front of the cell holding her daughter and molded a scrap of the broken security camera into a device for carving a hole in the glass. "Step back, okay?" Mira nodded and took a few steps away from the front of the glass. While the device carved a hole in the glass, a loud explosion boomed in the ears of Toga, the pro hero, and the captive children and triggered a boisterous alarm in the hallway. The clacking noise of high heels brought their attention to the way they came in.

"Miss Incubus! Thank God you're here! I need you to help us." Diamond begged with relief. "I don't think-" Himiko Toga mumbled into Jaclyn's ear, which the antihero ignored. "First, I need to know what you're doing here?" Brenda Jing greeted with a flashy smile. "Only authorized personnel are allowed in." Miss Incubus ensured her voice was barely audible. Her ostentatious ruby red dress glimmered under the bright lights. The children in their cells were shuddering in fear, but Mira ran into her mother's arms as if the ground was going to collapse from under them.

"I'm here for my daughter." Diamond replied impulsively, holding her daughter close. Her black eyebrows were furrowed in confusion. "You mean, Mira?" Miss Incubus answered mockingly, "I'm afraid I can't let her go with you. Chronostasis, Rappa, keep them busy."

"Wait. You...you're who Dabi warned me about! You bought out the Shia Hassaikai, and you took this out from the League's noses! You-you...how could you?! How could you be so heartless and perfidious to spend so much money to-" Jaclyn screamed with heartbreak and betrayal embedded in her voice. Toga growled softly and gently patted her friend's arm. "I told him to keep his mouth shut." Miss Incubus whispered furiously to herself, clenching her jaw. Rappa chuckled and did a somersault in the air; landing Diamond on the floor. A spine crackling like noise echoed through the hall as the yakuza member cracked his knuckles. Mira burst into tears along with the other trapped kids as Miss Incubus dragged her away.

"Anywho, I'm sorry our investors are waiting downtown. I'll need to introduce Mira to our audience, that way the yakuza can be opulent again after what happened a few years ago. You're crazy to think you're gonna win. Ta-ta~" Brenda remarked pretentiously as she made her exit with Mira in tow. "I assure you this will end quickly." Rappa commented and started punching the weakened mother hero, who slowly molded a shield for herself and held it while curling into a fetal position. Diamond's shield quickly dented from Rappa's punches and couldn't protect her anymore. *' "Don't underestimate me, Miss!" She screeched and teleported out of the way. The children watched as the battle continued and gasped at the intrusion. Tape pulling the front part of the plexiglass out of its designated space as they were left to escape if they wanted.

"Not on my watch!" Cellophane, swung in front of his companions and landed a harsh kick to Rappa's thigh. Despite missing the chance to save his mentor from almost breaking her back, Hanta Sero still landed a decent blow to Rappa's balance. "Where's Mira?" Sero queried curiously, ready to help his allies fight. As Toga tackled Chronostasis, she giggled at procrastinating the other villain's next move. "Got him!" The petite blonde squawked cockily and pushed a tranq dart into her opponent's arm. "Brenda's the one behind everything, she's getting away with my daughter. Between you, me and Toga, I think you're our best bet at getting Mira back." Diamond suggested to her noble sidekick and slowly sat up.

"Ugh!" She winced at the overwhelmingly painful blow from her back. barely escaping another set of strong punches from Rappa. "I didn't think my shield would get bent by someone's punches!" Jaclyn huffed and caressed her strained arm. "Go!" The unbreakable hero exclaimed to Sero as Chronostasis lost consciousness. "Okay!" Cellophane yelled in agreement and used his tape to swing away from the fallout in the hallway of the building. "Toga, evacuate the kids!" She yelled and dodged another set of Rappa's punches. "Got it, Diamond-Chan!" Toga replied loudly and started quickly leading the hostage children away from the battle.

Sero bumped into Dabi in the process, which startled the tape hero. "Agh!" He mustered an awkward yelp as he inadvertently fell on top of the villain. "Hey! What's going on? I made the explosion, but nothing happened. Why is Miss Incubus here, flex tape?" Dabi asked as his concern intensified, "Where's Diamond? Where's Mira?" The two comrades paused as the tension and stress in the space grew. "I think I'll need your help more. If we want to get Mira back, we'll need to find the next place they're taking her. I think you'll need to grab onto me, I see a sparkling dress and pink hair this way." Sero pointed and readied his tape; offering an arm for Dabi to grab onto. "Isn't that a little homo for a mission?" Blueflame remarked.

"Are you gonna help Diamond because you secretly love her or not?" Cellophane argued. "Fuck you." Dabi groaned and started to cling to the tape hero. "Ah, I already have-" Sero retorted with a teasing smirk as he swung them closer to Miss Incubus. "I don't need to know about your love life." The villain grunted. "Shit." The two grinned at hearing the pink-haired villain curse and hold Mira in her arms.

"You better fucking run, Pinky!" Dabi exclaimed smugly at their newfound enemy scrambling to the complex garage in her black Louis Vuitton heels. "Like you're any better," Miss Incubus retorted and kept her momentum as Mira squirmed in her arms. Then, suddenly Mira disappeared. "Kid!" Blueflame shouted in shock. "Where did she go?!" Brenda growled in frustration, stopping in her tracks.

"You better fucking run, Pinky!"

"That's my kid. Now drop me, flex tape." Dabi felt absolute pride flow in his veins as Mira teleported in front of the three of them. A smirk graced the five year old's face as she turned Brenda's necklace into two bracelets, made them wrap themselves around the pink haired mastermind's wrists, and connected them into handcuffs. Sero chuckled softly to himself at letting Dabi fall face first onto the floor.

"You asshole." Blueflame glared at the taping hero. "You're forgetting that I have a quirk too." Miss Incubus remarked irritably as her classic pink gas into the area around her. It was her turn to smirk as Dabi, Sero, and Mira slowly had their pupils turn black. Sero landed on the floor gracefully and stood motionless next to the villain covered in scars and piercings. "Now Mira, free me." She commanded sweetly. Diamond's daughter obeyed mindlessly and blinked. The black haired five year old coughed on the gas, growing more immune to it and blinked again and again to return to normal. "Wait. No! No! Stop with the weird air! Bad Pinky!" Mira yelled and scrambled towards the two frozen guys, shutting her eyes tight and burying her face into her shirt.

~Meanwhile~

"You're left all alone, Diamond. I'm surprised all of your little friends left you behind." Rappa mused. Her legs wobbled as she struggled to stand. "They're busy with things more important than helping me kick your ass." The antihero remarked and fell to the floor again. "You can't even stand! All because I bended your spine a little backwards." Her opponent guffawed. She huffed and molded a wire loose from the broken plexiglass into a cane. Jaclyn's hands clasped onto the top of the makeshift cane for dear life as she tried to stand again. "Pun intended, Rappa, I'm still standing." Diamond remarked. "You won't get your child out of this deal. Whether she's yours or not, Miss Incubus is going to bring that kid for demonstrations for the investors downtown. It's crazy that you think you can even-"

"Oh, I'll show you crazy." The unbreakable hero said back as her eyes turned emerald. The cane collapsed to the floor as her body levitated. Diamond's hands swirled around as arrows, spears and daggers soared through the air towards Rappa. "I don't think you understand the fear of losing something so close to you. It's so easy for you to say 'It's crazy to blah blah blah', but that's why I have a plan. I don't care if anyone tries to stand in my way, I will hold my daughter in my arms again!" He punched the air on impulse, leaving the weaponry into the small metal scraps they were originally. "Making me give up because of a bunch of needles is easier said than done, Platinum." Rappa remarked, mocking her hero name.

"Choke on them." She sneered and made fist gloves from the scrap metal on the floor. "You want to fist fight? Are you sure you don't want me to take it easy on you?" Rappa joked. "Looks like you could use some more discipline if you think I want you to 'take it easy on me'." Jaclyn said back, readying her armed fists. "Try me." He retorted as their fist fight started. Their gauntlets repetitively clashed at a crescendo.

I can't keep fighting him like this, my sudden energy boost will run out eventually. I won't be ready for that. Diamond thought to herself before doing a flip in the air and sprinting for distance from Rappa. "A weakling and a coward. I have to give you respect for your-" The unbreakable hero smirked at her successful escape as she teleported out of the laboratory. Her knees buckled underneath her as she clutched her stomach and pressed her communicator, not wanting to leave without her comrades.

"Hey, guys?" She mumbled and teleported further away from the building. "Where are you? I don't know where we are… We're in her apartment. Isn't that a little weird? Mira's passed out on our end. You'll have to teleport here or to Toga, doll. I dunno how she's holding up with the kids." A sigh of relief escaped her lips at Dabi and Sero's reply. "I think I'm gonna need a hospital first, you two. My back is kind of fucked up…" Jaclyn clenched her jaw at the abrupt struggle to breathe, "I think...Rappa got a good jab on my stomach...too." Dabi and Sero exhaled nervously from the communicator they shared on their end. "Can you teleport to the nearest hospital? I think it's...five minutes away." Her sidekick asked calmly. "I'll try. If I can't, please come back here as soon as you can." The unbreakable hero replied, her voice wobbling. "Yes ma'am."

Diamond sighed graciously at her trustworthy companions and transitioned her focus to teleporting to the nearest hospital. Body, I know you can do it. Please take me to the nearest hospital. I'm counting on- But Jaclyn's thought process and concentration was interrupted by a close call. A cut emerged through her cheek, small drops of blood dribbling down her face. It could've sliced my neck. She thought in terror. "We aren't done yet." Chronostasis trudged out of the building, Rappa at his side. "I'm aware-" The unbreakable hero remarked stiffly. "You may have the test subjects, but we still have you." He said with a menacing grin, rolling his shoulders back.

"Fair enough." Diamond muttered, "That doesn't make what you're doing any less immoral." Her gloved fingers fumbled on the side of her costume for her communicator and the button for revealing her location. "I have been eager for another fight. Aren't you excited, Chronostasis?!" Rappa exclaimed enthusiastically. "I assume that's a rhetorical question, Rappa. Especially since I still have no feeling in my left arm." The other villain commented sardonically. "I'm glad Toga's quick thinking worked." She answered. I just need to buy myself some time. Jaclyn thought to herself as her legs were trembling. "I have to admit I'm surprised the League worked with you for your mission." Chronostasis mused, "Considering the idea came from them." Her heart thumped erratically as she struggled to stand. "I guess you can say I have friends everywhere. I can also be called the 'unbreakable hero' since my friendships and alliances are unbreakable." The two villains glanced at each other then the pro hero tensing up. Come on, come on. Teleport me to the nearest hospital. Diamond commanded her weakened body in her head. "Then perhaps you have broken your 'unbreakable alliances if no one-"

"What happened back there?!" Sero squawked from the communicator he shared with Dabi. "It worked, you two. We did it." Jaclyn mumbled jubilantly, "The only problem is I'm on the brink of collapsing on a-oh good." Her dark brown eyes started to close at hospital workers rushing to her side. "What do you mean 'oh good', princess? What the hell happened? Why are you on the brink of-shit." Dabi exasperated himself with not knowing what to do.

The villain glanced back at the pro hero's sidekick and her daughter laying unconscious on the floor. "I think Diamond's gonna be okay, Dabi." Cellophane reassured him. He gently put a finger to Mira's neck, diligently searching for a pulse. "Mira is fine, just unconscious right now. I'll look for her room and tuck her in. You wait here and keep an ear open for a response." The taping hero informed his unexpected comrade and carried the little girl with him, looking for her room.

"Sure, we did it. We saved the kid but I doubt this is over, princess. I don't know if I'm a hero or anything like that, but flex tape is alright. You're in good hands. I'll be around, doll. If anyone tries to snatch our kid again, I'm ready to burn their asses to a crisp at a moment's notice, just say the word. I...I love you. Stay outta trouble for me." Dabi murmured softly into the communicator, leaving a message before opening the window to her apartment and disappearing into the city streets.
