I walked in and looked around. I ignored my anxiety. I saw that a Uchiha was in my class but that was the only clan kid. I saw a blue haired kid talking with him, which I found strange.

"How can I help you?" I heard from the left of me. I jumped and faced the person, who seemed to be the teacher.

"This was the class I was told to go to?" I answered awkwardly.

"Ah! Hello then, what's your name?" He asked.

"Samashii Ki Sir."

"Ok. Hello Samashii, you can call me Iruka-Sensei. You may sit down."

I looked around and only saw a seat in between the blue haired kid and the Uchiha. I walked up to them, stared at them for a moment, and asked if I could sit by them. I took the window seat while the blue haired kid whose name was Roku, sat in the middle and the Uchiha (Siro) sat in the aisle seat.

Roku kept talking to Siro and I looked out the window. At least I talked to somebody today.

"Welcome to the academy! My name is Iruka. You may call me Iruka-Sensei and for the next few years until you graduate, I will be your teacher. Now let's introduce ourselves. Let's start with the back row, Samashii."

No, I wanted to say. I didn't want to introduce myself, I just wanted to stay secluded.

I slowly walked down the aisle, my anxiety racking my brain. It felt like a thousand eyes were watching me and one mistake, one, would be the end for me. Each step felt like an eternity, my brain finding every single possible way I could mess this up.

I finally made it to the front of the class. I turned around to face the class, and felt every piercing, judging eye on me. I had to put up a front, I had to.

"My name is Samashii, I enjoy reading and training. I dislike not knowing things, and delusional people."

"Thank you Samashii, please sit down. Roku, your next."

I walked back up the stairs, thankful to be in the back again, where nobody would stare at me. Being up there was horrible, it felt like thousands of people staring at me, judging me, spotting my every mistake.

The introductions continued until Iruka-Sensei started talking about what we were going to do this year. It seemed like all it would be was Chakra Theory, things like that. We would be doing basic exercises, and that was about it, other than history along with basic subjects. I think I could do pretty well.

We were released early, as it was the first day and I headed to a park to do my training.

I didn't really enjoy the academy, but as long as I wasn't forced to go and speak at the front it would be ok.
