Today is the day of the opening carriages where we make our first impression, we'll really our stylist make they're first impression, our stylists are named, Portia and Cinna. Cinna is supposed to be me and Katnisses stylist but I have to admit I'm a little nervous after all the tributes I've seen naked. Luckily Cinna seems normal, no crazy capitol fashions or plastic surgery's, just normal clothes and a hint of gold eyeliner. Haymitch says we have to listen to whatever they say... but I don't want to be naked in the middle of the capitol.
Me and Katniss walked into the bathroom to begin the prep work. The prep team have to make us look perfect, when they finally finished everything hurts. Me and Katniss were just playing a game of guessing what our costumes were gonna be when Cinna walks in. He puts our hair up and very neutral makeup, then we change into full black bodysuits, which he says they are going to light on fire? I'm a little concerned about our safety but Haymitch told us not to resist.
We walk into the garage where we get on the floats, Peeta is wearing a similar outfit so at least it's not just me and Katniss getting lit on fire, we stand on the cage and they tell me and Katniss to stand on either side of Peeta and they tell us to hold hands. I can tell Katniss is uncomfortable with presenting us as one since if we're gonna win, Peeta has to die but we do what they say. Then they light us on fire, I prepare for pain and heat but all I feel is a weird tickling sensation as we pull out of the garage and onto the streets.
So I know this chapter is quick but I will be updating more, also I have officially decided to make this a four book series! The only thing you have to know about this is that it's the same people yet it's the 73rd Hunger games! I'm so excited to go through the series so I hope you guys are liking it still! - AlexisTheKoala
