Chapter 4

A few days later after a wonderful time in London it was time to head to New York

"Ace are you ready?"

"Yup let's go"

Logan grabbed their bags and made his way downstairs where his driver in London was waiting to take them London Gatwick where they got their bags onto the Huntzberger's private plane that was already on the tarmac. Within minutes they had buckled in and were taking off. It was going to be a 9hr flight.

The pair quickly got comfortable next to each other. They slept for a few hours but not all of it to get a head start on the time zones. Part way into the flight Logan got a call from his sister.

"Opps forgot to tell her I'm coming home for a few days"

Rory chuckled as Logan accepted the call

"Hey sis! By the way you are on speakerphone"

"Okay... Hey Logan when will you be coming home the boys miss you and I don't mean Finn, Colin and Robert"

"Aww I miss them to. I'm actually on a flight to New York right now"

There was a brief pause as Logan wasn't sure wether to tell his sister about Rory. Rory just gave him a look like the surprise will be better than telling her now Logan understood and didn't say a single word

"YIPEE!!! Can we please meet up for some lunch or breakfast tomorrow then?"

"Of course but no cancelling not this time. Just No!"

"Okay little bro let's say 1pm at the usual place"

Rory was giving him a look

"Hang on a second" he muted the call

"What!"

"I wanna go to a classic American diner! I miss the greasy chips and classic cheeseburgers" A whine could be detected now in her voice

"Okay if it means that much to you" the whine in her voice had made him start laughing so he had to regain his composure before unmuting the call

"Actually can we go to a diner? I really want a burger"

"That's not like you but sure. I mean you are the one whose been in London for ages"

"Thank you I will see you at 1. I will send you the place on text"

"Bye little bro"

"See y'a big sis"

Touchdown it was midnight now

The pair quickly made their way to the car that was waiting for them to take them back to the spare apartment that Logan's Family had.

They finally arrived at 2am and were so tired they just took of their clothes and sinked into bed in their underwear not waking up until 10am.

Logan woke up first he got dressed and got to work on some emails

Rory woke up half an hour later feeling a bit sick so instantly made her way to the bathroom.

Logan heard this commotion and got up to comfort his Ace

"Ace can I come in"

"Mmm..." this was all she could bring herself to say. Logan opened the door and made his way to Rory. He sat with her a sec before remembering what helped last time.

"I love you" Rory said as he was rubbing her skin with a cold cloth. The cold felt like heaven on her skin.

"I love you to Ace" when he was done Logan put the cloth down and brought her closer to him and started rubbing her back. "Do you still want to go and see Honor?"

"Yes please I really want a burger. I miss Luke's"

"We must remember to get some of Luke's burgers then! Do you think he'd give ,e the recipe?"

"I doubt it it's his well guarded secret" Rory smiled now thinking of Luke and his burgers had actually made her feel a bit better "I'm ready to get up now"

"Okay come on then. Logan got up first to take her hand and pull her up. He then guided her to the kitchen for some water. After getting her dressed so she didn't feel cold.

"Thanks Logan" he had given her her favourite top and leggings

"Okay we need to chose which diner to go to so I can tell Honor" Logan just smiled at her he want Rory to chose.

"What about..." Rory paused to get out her phone "The Tick Tock Diner, menu looks good?"

"Okay I will tell Honor know. Can we leave at 12 I want to get there early to surprise her"

"Yes that sounds good that way I get my burger quicker" Logan laughed when Rory said that

To kill some time Rory decided to call Luke since she knew that was about the most he could do with his phone

Ring Ring Ring

"Luke's" a familiar voice said on the other side

"Hey Luke"

"Hey Rory what can I do for y'a?"

Logan's face had a look of pure astonishment . He couldn't believe Rory was going to try and get his burger recipe. Rory caught his eyes and instantly burst out laughing Logan did too

"Rory..." Luke was clearly confused by her laughter

Rory however said nothing about it "Luke..." mimicking his tone "I miss your burgers I know I'm heading back in a few days but any chance I can get your recipe for them?"

He wasn't expecting that "if I gave it to you who would make it we both know you can't cook like your mother?"

She gave Logan a pleading look. He sighed and took the phone off Rory

"Hey Luke it's Logan here"

"Logan..." Luke was even more confused by his presence

"Just saying... " he briefly paused before continuing he knew Rory had told him nothing about them whatsoever as she wanted to tell him in person "Rorys been staying with me whenever she's in London but is always moaning about missing your burgers if you can give me the recipe I will make it to please her I can cook" Logan was trying his best without telling him they got back together and are expecting. Rory chimed in "Yes you can you make Paella" remembering when they were attending Yale."

"Only if you promise to guard it and never let her cook she will make herself sick"

"Agreed"

"Yes!" Rory said quietly punching the air

"Hey her Moms just walked in does Rory want to speak to her?"

"Hang on" he covered the phone "Your Moms just come in Luke wants to know if you want to talk to her"

"Always!" This response made him start laughing as he passed the phone over

"So he lets you behind the counter now huh"

"Yes" Lorelai was grinning "Now tell me why you called him"

"You really want to know?"

"YES!!!"

"I wanted a burger this morning but we aren't going out till 12 so I sort of called him for his burger recipe"

"How did you manage that"

"I didn't, Logan got him to agree, I'm impressed because he did it without even telling him you know"

"I know what?"

"You know!! Come on you must know"

"Clearly I don't"

A big sigh came now knowing her mother was messing with her but she told her anyway "That I went to London to tell Logan I'm pregnant and that we got back together also that we aren't even in London at the moment we are in New York

"Really, you got back together?"

"Yes!"

"I'm happy for you kid you sound happy, now if you are actually going in New York when am I going to see you?"

"I don't know" she handed the phone to Logan he was the one with meetings here

"Lorelai"

"Hey Logan. Well isn't this a surprise now when will I see you guys?"

"Well today we are going to meet my sister Honor for burgers and surprise her, Rory wanted the Burgers" he paused smiling at the memory of that conversation

"Women after my heart" Lorelai was very happy her daughter really wanted burgers

"Then tomorrow I have business meetings all day but we should be able to come and see you the day after"

"Yay!" Lorelai was very happy with this

"However, do you have a room at the dragonfly?"

"Hmmm" She paused thinking of the bookings for the end of the week "Yes! So things are going well between you too?"

"Really Really Good!"

"Hey... you sound completely in love with my daughter just don't hurt her"

"I would never dream of it this is the first time I've been truly happy in years"

"Lorelai!" Luke shouted Logan quickly put her on speakerphone "Times up you have a cell just call her"

Luke's very sudden out burst caused them to have fits of laughter

"Opps best go I wish you well, see you later this week (Wink wink)"

The wink wink bit made them laugh even more

"Bye Mom"

"Bye Lorelai"

They hung up the phone
