Comments and answers!

Ladynoir- Okay, I see what you are saying. I like the name Aadhira too, it means something like "strong." It's Hindu, so yeah. We are all human, so I was just wondering the two major change in you comments. It's clear and it's all good! Enjoy!

LunaWolf (guest)- You literally got the chapter right on. Lila is influenced by her mother and it's not in a good way, and her uncle sucks. But her dad-ad though, is A-mazing!

Soundwave (guest)- Thanks!

Sophie (guest)- You hit it head on! People who are loved will love! You become who you are around, it's how humans work. Thanks for the two quotes comment- I love them, also one of them I said and I'm like, "Oh, that's a great quote!" Hope to see more of your comments!

Chapter Four: Dodgeballs and Uncles

"Dodgeball with the other second-graders! This is going to be the most important PE of the year!" Bianca declared.

Lila made a face. "What's so important about a dodgeball game?" Note: Lila hates dodgeball with a passion.

"Every year we move up with the same class, and the class has beaten us at dodgeball since kindergarten!" Aadhira said.

"So?" Lila asked. "I still don't see the importance about a dodgeball game."

"Don't you get it, Lila? The other class is the enemy- and the dodgeballs are the weapons!" Bianca said. "We win and we will start a new age!" (I know- dramatic for second-graders. I love it though)

"Okay…" Lila eyed Bianca up and down. Bianca was giddy with excitement, a smile plastered across her face.

"Bianca has a very competitive family," Aadhira said. "If we lose, she'll have a frown for the next week and be mumbling about how we could be better."

Bianca then began punching the air. "We'll get them out! Each and every one! We'll hit them like BOOM!"

"You get too excited," Lila said. "Dodgeball stinks."

Bianca stopped in her tracks. "WHAT?!" Blinking at a rapid pace, Bianca looked at Lila. "Dodgeball stinks? DODGEBALL STINKS?"

"Yes," Lila said.

"I know how you can like it," Aadhira said. "Are you a gymnast?"

"Yes," Lila confirmed. (Might I add she is only a gymnast because her mom told her to be and she does nothing else…)

"Then use you're gymnast superpowers," Aadhira said. "Try it."

"I'll try it."

Lila felt so alone standing in the middle of the court with three other students on the other side. Everyone else had gotten out. A ball flew at her, but she bent backwards, the ball flying over her. She did a backbend, standing up afterwards. Another ball was flying at her but she caught it with ease. Two more left.

Lila grabbed a dodgeball as her classmates cheered her on.

"GO LILA!" Bianca shouted as Lila chucked the ball at someone's feet. It hit the kids feet and they were out. One against one. Lila and a boy held a dodgeball and prepared. Lila threw the ball down at the boy's feet and sprinted the other direction, but tripped over a loose dodgeball.

A small yelp escaped her mouth as she crashed to the ground and a soft dodgeball hit her back.

"AND OUR CLASS WINS AGAIN!" the boy shouted.

Bianca and Aadhira ran over to Lila. "You OK?" Aadhira asked. Lila was nearly in tears.

"I- I didn't win…" Lila said. "I'm probably a disappointment…"

Bianca gave Lila a serious look. "Winning isn't everything, it was a mistake. Plus, you were great out there! That backbend was A-mazing!" Lila blinked.

"What?" Lila looked at Bianca and Aadhira with tears in her eyes.

"You got us closer than we have been, plus, we still have four years until we move to junior high," Aadhira said. "Don't beat yourself down for not winning."

"But- But- I promised you," Lila said.

"Yeah, and you got so close, don't beat yourself up over it!" Bianca said.

"It was awesome!" Aadhira exclaimed. Lila smiled.

"Thanks," Lila said, rubbing her arm, bashfully.

"Lila Rossi?" the PE teacher called.

"Yes?" Lila replied.

"Your uncle is here to pick you up," the teacher said. Lila gave a bewildered look.

"Uncle… Chris?" Lila asked.

"He says he's your uncle," the teacher shrugged. Lila grumbled as she grabbed her bag and walked out, a feeling dropping in her stomach. As she walked out, she was disgusted at the sight of her uncle.

Chis has redish-brown hair and brown eyes. His hair was unkempt and long. "Hey, sweetheart." Lila's eye twitched. "Your mom has something, so she needed you to be home early."

"I was going to leave in five minutes," Lila said.

"It's okay, that just means we beat the traffic," Chris said. "Come on, sweetheart." Lila loaded in Chris' small car, picking up her feet to not step on loose food.

"Disgusting," Lila muttered.

"What was that, Lily?" Chris asked.

"My name is Lila," Lila hissed.

"Lila, Lily, really, there is no difference," Chris shrugged.

"There is a difference," Lila said. "I'm not Lily."

"Fine, sweetheart," Chris said.

Lila sat back on her seat, staying between two piles of trash.

Dodgeballs or Uncles. She honestly didn't know which were worse.

Nevermind, yes she did know.

Uncles.
