Chapter 4
Jackson's Trailer
Jackson sat on his chair in the living room watching the rest of the movie. As the credits rolled, he turned off the television.
"Well, that sucked," Jackson said.
Jackson looked over to the couch where Vince sat.
"I don't know," Vince said. "I'd like to watch it from the beginning before I comment."
"You really don't have to stay here," Jackson said.
"I want to," Vince said.
"Let me rephrase it," Jackson said. "Go home!"
"But the doggies want me to stay," Vince said. "Right, doggies?"
Jackson's dogs walked over to Vince and each sat on his lap.
"Whoa!" Vince shouted. "Get them off of me!"
"It's your fault for talking to them," Jackson said.
Angie's House
Angie and her sister, Mary, sat on Angie's bed.
"So I finally met a 9-1-1 operator in person tonight," Angie said.
"Which one?" Mary asked.
"Jackson Callerson," Angie replied.
"Is he cute?" Mary asked.
"Seriously?" Angie asked.
"So yes?" Mary asked.
"Very cute," Angie said. "He's hot!"
Jackson's Apartment
"So Officer Angie was totally flirting with you," Vince said.
"She was not," Jackson said.
"I'd better get to the station," Vince said mockingly. "You stay safe."
"She's a police officer," Jackson said.
"Her tone of voice," Vince said. "She totally wanted you."
"Stop it," Jackson said.
"I think you want her too," Vince said teasingly. "Jackson and Angie! Jackson and Angie!"
"Vince," Jackson said. "Shut up."
"Hey," Vince said. "You're a 9-1-1 operator and she's a police sergeant. You could be a power couple."
"Shut up, Vince," Jackson said.
"Your couple name could be Jangie," Vince said. "Or Anjack."
Jackson threw the remote at Vince, hitting his arm.
"Ow!" Vince shouted.
"Good night, Vince," Jackson said, getting up and walking.
"You little asshole!" Vince shouted, rubbing his arm. "That hurt!"
