Chapter 4:

-Hange's pov-

As I'm ranting on and on about my findings and describing the drawings I've made, I felt something heavy land on my lap. I immediately stopped and jerked in response as it was so sudden. While slightly blushing, I slowly looked down to see Levi falling fast asleep and all comfy. I scrambled to decide whether or not I should move him and tuck him in, but he seemed so peaceful just sleeping like that. But after admiring his face for a bit, I thought maybe I would let him be and go to sleep too. I yawned and stretched before drinking the remainder of my tea. Then I tried to grab the blanket from his bed without moving my legs and placed it on top of Levi as he turned his body towards me. He then snuggled into me and wrapped his arms around my hips as I tried to remain calm. A sudden rush of warmth flushed through my entire body the moment he did that. I had no idea what was going on but secretly I was enjoying it.

I felt my eyes start to droop down and my body feeling heavy, so I went under the blanket to snooze off. Levi's warmth was radiating through me and I've never felt something so heavenly before. As I settled in I started to stroke his hair and run my fingers through it to feel how soft it was. Kind of glad I took the opportunity to feel the texture of his hair as I tend to get a bit personal with people because of my outgoing character. However, I know Levi would chop my limbs off and feed me off to the titans if I ever tried to get touchy with him. But thank god he's asleep and hasn't caught me yet. As I continued to admire his sleeping face, I started doze off and eventually fell into a deep sleep state.

-Levi's pov-

I felt a bright and warm sensation on my face as I tried to open my eyes from how tired I was. Oh god, did I fall asleep as Hange was speaking to me? I thought as I rubbed my eyes and got a better glimpse of the atmosphere around me. While I got up I felt a blanket on me and wondered how it got there. I then heard a little noise behind me and immediately turned around to see Hange lying there fast asleep. I tried to recollect what happened but gave up after Hange slowly started to wake up. I got up and ruffled my hair with this grumpy look on my face as I'm still trying to recollect last night.

"What…what happened?" I asked Hange.

"Um…it's a long story…" she replied while trying to sit comfortably.

She continued to speak with her face blushing, "well… I was going off on a rant about my findings when you suddenly fell asleep on my lap and I didn't want to move you sooo I just slept there with you."

The room was quickly filled with silence as I took in what she had just said. I felt kind of embarrassed that I let that happen but glad no one else saw it but her. I was still in a slight shock, but I straightened myself up.

As a cleared my throat I said, " uh well, t-thank you I guess" I stuttered not knowing what to say.

Hange looked at me with a slight crooked smile and nodded while she tried to pack up her things and fix her hair. I watched her as she took off her glasses and let down her dark brown locks while her sweet lips held her hair tie. Never have I ever seen her with her hair down and its stunning, but I looked away as soon as she noticed me staring at her, again. As soon as she went back to what she was doing I offered her some tea I made. We both sat down and quietly sipped our tea while we made zero eye contact. With that, Hange got up and thanked me for the tea and apologized about last night. She than quickly walked out the room with her stuff.

I let out a huge sigh as soon as she was far out. Thinking about what had happened last night drove me nuts but I didn't let it distract me. However, the thought of her warm squishy thighs flooded through my head and gave me a sense of peace. Deep inside, I craved for that same feeling but part of me thought that was absurd.

"Get it together, Levi" I grunted as I shook my head vigorously.

I sighed once more and finally got up to get ready for the day. As I hopped into the shower, the warm water trickled down my toned abs and muscles. I ran my fingers through my hair a few times to wash it thoroughly. After I rinsed off all the soap, I turned off the water and wrapped the towel around me. I grabbed a smaller towel to dry off my hair when I heard a knock on my door.

"Yes?" I answered to whoever was at the door.

"Captain Levi, commander Hange wanted me to pick up her notebook she left in your room"

I turned back to see the book lying on the couch peeking underneath the blanket.

As I went to go grab it I asked, "Why didn't she come to get it herself?"

"Um I'm not sure captain, all she did was order me to go get it" the scout replied with some confusion in his answer.

"Tch, well here it is" I opened the door and handed it to him as I held onto my towel from falling.

Well judging from how fast she left from earlier I'm sure she didn't want to come back and face more awkwardness. Not that I would care if she did come back, I just don't see why she could've gotten it herself since her notebook is everything.
