A/N: Hi again everyone! Sorry this chapter took so long; this wasn't prewritten, and school started up again, so I didn't have much time to do this. Sorry. Anyways, anything you recognise belongs to Rick Riordan or Stan Lee/Disney. Btw, have any of you seen WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier? IT"S SO GOOD AAAAHHHHHHH. You HAVE to watch it. I love Wanda and Bucky, they're the best.

Fury's day couldn't get any weirder. First of all, a teenager breaks into the Helicarrier, which is flying in midair. Then, he discovers that both 'Neeks' and Jackson are enhanced and try to jump off the plane from sixty thousand feet in the air.
"Sir, the Avengers are here." Agent Hill's voice says in the intercom.
"Let them in." he said. Fury waited a few moments before the door to his office slid away and all of the Avengers filed in. Some were looking better than others, bruises and scrapes littering almost all of them.
"What the hell was that?" he growled at them. Some had the audacity to look ashamed while others just stared back.
"Sir-" started Rogers, but Fury cut him off.
"No. No excuses. Tell me everything you can about that 'Neeks' that came and BEAT A BUNCH OF AVENGERS." Fury yelled the last part.
"No facial recognition scans matched. No name, no nothing. The kid's a ghost." Natasha said, then frowned.
"Wait- he controlled shadows-"
"He called himself the Ghost King," Steve interrupted, knowing where she was going with that.
"He's obviously friends with Jackson. They had their own nicknames."
Dozens more theories circled the room until:
"Sir! If he can travel through shadows, he could go at any minute, maybe taking Jackson and Bianca with him!" Barton's voice rang out, silencing everyone.
"Son of a gun-you're right. Rogers, Romanoff, go and interrogate him now. If he tries to leave, knock him out. Go!" Fury cursed. The two Avengers nodded and raced out of the room.
The rest of the Avengers crowded around the footage of the prison cell, waiting.
As soon as the boy disappeared, Fury slammed his hands down on the desk in annoyance and stalked out, the rest of the Avengers watching confusedly in his wake.
Fury walked into the containment cell with Rogers and Romanoff standing there interrogating the two teens. Bianca and Percy themselves were sitting together in the furthest corner from them.
"It would appear that you have been lying to us, Jackson." The teens didn't even look up as Fury said that.
Fury glanced at Rogers and Romanoff, who looked stressed and concerned, respectively.
"Hey… kids," Steve started, "We just want the best for you. Just cooperate, and it'll be better for you in the long run."
"We never lied to you. You just didn't ask." Bianca said, glaring at them.
"Who was that 'Ghost King'?" Natasha asked.
"A friend… from camp." Percy sighed.
The agents looked at each other.
"What's camp?"
"A place." Bianca snarked.
"Do you have powers Bianca?" Steve asked. She shook her head, looking away. It was obviously a touchy subject for her.
The agents continued trying to get more out of them until Bianca raised a hand for silence.
"Stop." Percy said, "Just stop. You don't have any right to know absolutely every tiny little detail about us. We have our secrets, you have yours. Respect that."
Fury was taken aback by Jackson's bluntness of his tone. How dare he order around some of the most powerful people in the country? Romanoff looked like she was going to say something when Rogers said:
"Let's leave it for tonight. We can come back tomorrow."
As the adults turned to leave, the girl called out.
"Could we have some food or water? Or even a pillow?" Fury was tempted to say no but didn't reply to her, ordering the agents through his earpiece to adhere to her request.
His final look of the two captives was of them curling up together on the ground.
When Percy woke up the next day, he was calm for all of three seconds. Then he realised that the pillow resting under his head was not, in fact, his and that he and Annabeth were curled up on the floor of a cell.
His girlfriend stirred next to him and he nudged her softly. She cracked one eye open.
"Hey Seaweed Brain." She whispered.
Percy smiled. "Hey Wise Girl."
The demigods looked up as footsteps echoed toward them. Two agents came in, one holding two trays of food and one holding a gun. The door slid open, and Percy started to get up. The agent immediately tensed up and moved the gun to him so quickly he almost didn't see it.
Percy chuckled and moved back down, not fazed at all by the weapon pointed at his head. "Just checking."
The other agent set down the food in front of them and stepped back, the door closing behind them.
The demigods started eating the bland cereal when they heard more people coming towards them. Moments later, Clint Barton entered with Tony Stark sauntering behind.
"Why can't I find face matches or name matches for you?" Stark said bluntly, referring to Annabeth.
"No idea. Your fault I guess." She lied smoothly. They both knew that the Mist hid all of that stuff in case of emergency.
"Kids, we just have a few more questions for you. Answer, and you get lunch. Don't answer, you'll have to wait till dinner."
Percy's stomach growled at the mention of more food and Annabeth rolled her eyes.
Clint hid a tiny smile and continued talking.
"When you went to Greece, Bianca was recognised as one of the members of your entourage. Why was she there? Who were the others?"
They looked at each other, silently communicating. "I went with Percy for emotional support. The rest of us were just friends from camp who wanted to go on a vacation." Annabeth lied slowly.
"What's this camp you keep mentioning?" Stark noted, fiddling with a pen.
"Summer camp." Percy said simply.
"One more question… how powerful are you exactly?"
"What's your IQ Mr. Stark?" Annabeth dodged.
The older man raised an eyebrow but obliged. "250."
Percy was incredulous. He thought the highest score was 200. Annabeth on the other hand looked smug as she said, "My IQ's 255."
Tony looked shocked and annoyed. "Come on kid, there's no way a sixteen year old can have a higher IQ than me. You're obviously lying."
"Run all the tests you want. There's no changing the fact that I have a super high IQ. And I'm eighteen."
Tony left it at that, obviously still skeptical as Percy started talking.
"I can control water, breath underwater and sometimes create hurricanes." He answered Barton's question.
The agent in question nodded and started leaving, Stark trailing behind.
Tony was annoyed. A sixteen-year-old girl (apparently eighteen; he didn't believe that) had a higher IQ than him. He was known around the world as the smartest man alive, he couldn't have this.
Anyway, him and Barton met up with the other Avengers in the control room. Tony mock saluted everyone as he walked in, trying to cover up his emotions.
"We can't leave them alone." Barton stated simply. The room muttered agreements around him.
"What do you propose?" Nat asked.
"Let them believe they are free and then watch them until we know what we have to know?" Steve suggested, obviously for the 'leave them alone' argument.
"Keep them in a cell until they tell us everything?" Tony sniped.
Everyone looked at him skeptically except for Fury who looked like he was actually considering it.
"I have another idea. Everyone wait here and watch the cams." Fury ordered as he left the room.
The Avengers watched as Fury interacted with the captives. It was all standard, until the super spy said:
"I want you two to be Avengers. As trainees."
Cliffhangers, lol. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, hopefully I'll update again soon.
