"Hey will you stop it with all these bananas?" Bowser Junior complained upon Funky Kong leaving various bananas on the city portion of the Moonview Highway track.
"Hey it's not my fault you keep going into them!" Funky laughed while quickly adjusting his sunglasses to reveal his real eyes for he then took off.
Bowser Jr. growled and summoned a Bowser Shell he chucked ahead, with it smashing into Funky and causing all the vehicles surrounding them to explode, which in turn caused a major fire to occur on the road.
"Well looks like we're going to have to postpone this race; again." A green shelled Lakitu recording this sighed for he noticeably had a look of disappointment on his face.
"Another busy night." A Koopa Paratroopa said to a Dry Bones while watching the racers zip around on the race course.
"Yep; sure seems like it." The Dry Bones added while feeling his bones clank. "Say you want to do a quick race around the turnpike?"
The Paratroopa managed to crack a smile for his wings began fluttering faster. "That sounds lovely; I just hope we have only shells activated for items."
"I'll be sure to make that the case."
