Hello, another chapter. Honestly I'm kind of impatient and want more people to read so it can inspire me to write more. So to all my loyal readers who have made it this far, here's an early chapter.

It had been a week since Tsunade had visited Kazuma for questioning. Since then, she hasn't come back with the results of what his punishment would be. He had been anticipating her arrival, but she had never come. Every day that had passed made Kazuma more anxious. At first Kazuma was ready to die. He was ready to finally give up on that hopeless dream of finding his sensei's killer. Unfortunately, the time inside the cell made him want to keep fighting. It made him want to stay alive just a while longer. Each day, that 'while' turned into just 'longer' because he no longer wanted to do. He was starting to reject his assumed fate.

Tsunade herself had been trying to find ways to keep him alive. Going back and forth with the council time and time again. They wanted him dead, but Tsunade could find uses for someone with Kazuma's skill. Asuma had talked highly about the kid's speed and reflexes. He also said that Kazuma could have potentially been a highly efficient taijutsu user. The council didn't want to hear any of it though. They kept up the pressure on her arguments. Saying that a bounty hunter that works outside the law couldn't be trusted.

The hokage then heard a knock on her office doors. "You may enter" Tsunade said. Shizune walked into the door with Asuma right beside her. Shizune took her position beside the hokage leaving Asuma standing directly in front of Asuma.

"Lady Tsunade, you look tired" Asuma said with a cigarette in his mouth.

"That damn council has been running me ragged. Where is your team?" Tsunade asked. Just as the question left her lips, she head a knock on the door. After letting them in, the team stood there waiting for an order from their hokage. She had her fingers crossed and her chin placed on top of them. The hokage was clearly stressed out and needed some rest.

Tsunade sighed. "I'm glad you all made it here. I need a favor to ask of you. Do you all remember the boy that you brought in a week ago?" she asked. Everyone nodded their heads. "The council want him to be executed. I want to show them that he can be an asset to the village. Asuma" she said, directing her attention at the leader of team 10. "If this boy is as good as you say, will your team accept the challenge of fighting him in front of the entire village? You're all chunin now. I don' think this will be a problem for you."

"My team can handle it lady Tsunade" Asuma said.

"Oh yeah!" Choji shouted, then threw more chips into his mouth. He had been eating since he walked into the room and hasn't stopped. Good thing Choji was growing and beginning to look like he was getting slimmer.

"What a drag" Shika said.

Ino didn't say anything. She didn't want to fight Kazuma at all. In fact, she had been wanting to talk to him a bit since she had left that day. Sakura had gotten angry at Ino when she started talking about Kazuma and comparing him to Sasuke. At the time, Ino had completely forgotten how broken Sakura was after Naruto's and Sasuke's departure from the village. Sakura and Ino had made up a few days after that.

"Great, the fight will be tomorrow. I haven't seen this kid fight yet, but I doubt you'd need to hold back. Give it your all. I'll explain the rules tomorrow. Get some rest" Tsunade said.

"Sensei, what can you tell us about the kid?" Shika asked as they sat and ate some food they had picked up. Choji was just about reaching for everyone else's plate.

"You want to cheat?" Ino questioned.

Shikamaru sighed. "Ino it's not cheating. In battle you should always want to know your opponent's abilities and tactics so that you can plan for it. Sensei has already fought him so he must know something."

"I agree. His technique is similar, if not the exact same, as the fourth hokage's. The number of times I've seen the fourth use that technique could be counted on one hand. Regardless, you've seen his technique already. When he threw his sword at Ino and teleported instantly in front of her." Asuma took another bite out of the food he was eating. "I image a jutsu like that would have some drawbacks. So far, I think he can only use that particular jutsu 3 or 4 times before he passes out. Meaning if you can hold him off until then, it should be an easy win."

Shikamaru shook his head then went straight into thinking mode.

"He knows the fourth hokage's jutsu? How can we compete with that?" Ino questioned, then looked down at her hands.

"We'll Ino you have a mind control jutsu you could use. He's fast, but we've seen him breakdown on the battlefield. His will can't be all that great. I imagine if you hit him with your jutsu, there won't be anything he can do" Shika said as he looked up into the sky.

"Wonderful plan Shika!" Choji said as he stuffed his face with more food.

"Choji you're eating it all!" Ino yelled. Choji just continued to stuff his face, Shika sighed, and Asuma looked into his wallet only to see how broke he was.

Kazuma sat with his back on the wall in his cell. His body was feeling weak because the guards brought him little to no food or water. He also hadn't received a shirt since he'd woken up the first day in there. So on nights that were cold, he had to wrap himself up in a stinky blanked. Not to mention, the medical ninja kept drugging him every couple of hours so that Kazuma won't regain enough energy to attempt an escape. "Someone's trying to kill me… was it that Old Lady?" Kazuma thought to himself as he envisioned Tsunade trying to kill him by not giving him a plate to eat.

The only light to come through the room was the little window that was near the top of the ceiling. With Kazuma's weakened body, he wasn't trying to use the little energy he had to look out the window, so Kazuma sat in the darkness.

Another hour of sitting around later, someone finally came up to his cell with a good amount of food. "Eat up prisoner. You'll be needed in a few minutes. Replenish your strength, you'll need it.

"What do they need me for?" Kazuma questioned as the guard began to walk away. Not even answering the question. Kazuma figure that the hokage had come up with her decision and suddenly it became that much harder to eat his food. Still, he ate all of his food and suddenly he could feel his energy returning to his body. He felt strong again. After performing a few punches and kicks, he felt ready for whatever they threw at him. No more would he be scared. Today was the day, they finally made their decision.

Kazuma's eyes landed on Ino as she walked into the arena. As soon as team 10 walked onto the arena, the crowd all shouted and screamed. Team 10 must have been really popular. Maybe the crowd was just cheering on the home team. Kazuma didn't care though. He just had to die. This was the most dramatic execution he'd ever seen. He had no idea so many people came together to see someone die.

Then something struck him.

"Wait… I'm not getting executed at all. This is a battle that was set up. The same group that I met in the forest vs me. I don't even have my weapons. I'll have to focus on my natural speed and taijutsu skills if I want to get out of here alive. The only way I can use Flying-Raijin is if I can touch them and place the formula." Kazuma thought to himself. He took a defensive stance.

Everyone in the crowd were excited and waiting for their home team to get a clean victory.

"The rules are simple. Team 10 you're allowed to kill this bounty hunter if you get the opportunity. This rule was made by the council themselves. Unfortunately, the bounty hunter can not play by the same rules. Bounty hunter, you are not allowed to kill any of the team members, but your way of winning will be to get 3 clean hits on each of team 10. If you manage to win, you will be gain citizen ship here in Konoha. Strict citizenship, but citizenship non-the-less. If you lose, you will die" Tsunade finished. The crowd had gone wild once Tsunade was finished speaking, but she toned them all. She only looked at the distraught kid down in the arena.

"He's severely handicapped if that's the case. If he can't use his weapons, then he can't speed blitz us. Plus he doesn't have any protective armor. This should be an easy win, but we shouldn't underestimate his abilities. So far, we haven't seen him use any other jutsus besides his teleportation jutsu. He could have something else up his sleeve" Shika thought, then he got into his fighting position as well.

"Go Ino!" Sakura yelled; her voice could be heard through the crowd of people also screaming.

"Begin" A chunin said then jumped out the arena.

"Partial expansion jutsu!" Choji shouted and his arm got bigger. He threw a punch at Kazuma. The young hunter jumped out the way only to see a shadow following him. Again, Kazuma backed away. "So the brown-haired guy has some kind of jutsu to make parts of his body bigger. His attacks seem stronger as well. The spikey haired guy can control the shadows starting from his own. What can that girl do?" Kazuma questioned as he again, backed away.

The next thing that came at him were kunai. He dodged them all, but in the process of dodging them, he had accidentally got closer to the group. Suddenly he found himself unable to move. He looked down only to notice that his shadow was now connected to Shika's. Kazuma saw Choji's fist coming straight at him, but he couldn't move at all. He could easily get out of this situation by teleporting back to wherever his swords were, but that would only make him an enemy of the leaf. A loud "pow" sound was heard Choji's fist colliding with Kazuma's body. The young boy went flying across the entire arena. He eventually crashed into the wall and his body went limp.

After about 15 seconds, the Chunin came back into the arena to check and see if the young bounty hunter was killed or not. Once the Chunin heard Kazuma breathing, he jumped back out of the arena.

Kazuma got up and was clearly injured by the attack. Kazuma began walking towards a kunai and picked it up. He then picked up another one. "If I get hit by another attack like that, it'll be over for me. Still though, is the only thing that girl can do is throw kunai? Fine, if she's offer them" Kazuma thought to himself, then gave them a cocky grin. As he began walking towards the trio, they stiffened a bit. Kazuma body flickered closer to them and they clearly couldn't keep up with his speed. They were still looking in the wrong direction.

Suddenly Choji had felt himself going up into the air. As he looked down at the ground, he saw Kazuma under him. Kazuma had just kicked the shinobi up into the air. "That's one clean hit" Kazuma said, then looked over at Shika. The lazy ninja had sent his shadow over to where Kazuma was. Expecting this, Kazuma jumped backwards and did a few backflips to get further back.

"Human bolder!" Choji shouted and turned into a giant ball. The ball came rushing towards Kazuma at a speed he wasn't expecting. His reaction speed allowed him to just barely dodge Choji's rolling body.

Choji stopped rolling and saw that Kazuma was right on his tail. Before Choji could react, Kazuma punched him in the jaw. Choji's body lifted off the ground just a little. In the corner of his eyes, Kazuma saw Shika's shadow coming towards him. Kazuma grabbed onto Choji's body and threw him towards Shika and Ino. The thick shinobi began screaming his entire way towards his team.

Ino jumped in the way of Choji and just as Choji was about to crash into her, Kazuma appeared right above him. Kazuma came down with a fierce punch to Choji's stomach causing Choji to go crashing into the ground.

Tsunade and Kakashi's eyes both went wide in shock when they saw Kazuma teleport above Choji and attack him in the blink of an eye. They couldn't believe their eyes. Everyone else in the village was also astonished by the speed showcased by the young bounty hunter. At the same time, they all hated him because of who he was. An illegal bounty hunter who attacked their ninja. They wanted him dead.

Kazuma turned to Ino. "She's so beautiful" He thought to himself. Kazuma ran up to her and before she could move an arm, he was right beside her. "Sorry…" he whispered so that only she heard. He grabbed her and kneed her in the stomach. Ino wasn't one to give up though. She took the knee like a champ then threw a bunch of punches and kicks in his direction. Kazuma dodged, counter, and threw some attacks of his own. Even though she was holding her own, Kazuma was definitely better than her. He proved it by punching her in the stomach. "Second hit on you" Kazuma said, just as he was about land the last hit, he felt a pressure on the left side of his body. Next thing he knew, his body was flailing in the air like a ragdoll.

His body hit the ground with a loud bang and the crowd went crazy. Tsunade and Kakashi just stared at the young Tagami who was still laying on the crowd. Nobody could tell if he was breathing or not. The crowd had assumed that Choji had gotten the final hit. "Get up Kazuma" Tsunade thought to herself. She didn't want him to die. Especially seeing the jutsu of the fourth hokage right in front of her face. Kakashi wanted to ask the kid how he learned the jutsu.

The young hunter's arm began to move, and he started pushing himself back up slowly. "Shika, he's getting back up" Choji said. He was clearly running out of chakra and needed to do something soon. Kazuma just wouldn't stay down despite getting hit by two giant chakra filled punches. Ino threw a kunai at Kazuma. Kazuma watched the kunai come directly at his face, but he didn't have the strength to jump out of the way. His entire body ached. He twisted his body and covered his head. The kunai dug deep into his shoulder and Kazuma screamed. Blood splattered all over the ground.

Ino didn't want to hurt him at all. Kazuma was literally fighting for his life and she didn't want him head. Was there anything she could do? If she held herself back then the crowd would notice. She needed a way to stop him without hurting him, but the only way out of this situation is to kill him. "I have to rely on your strength to get out of this Kazuma. I don't want to hurt you!" Ino thought. But for now, she had to try and fight with all of her strength. She just hoped that Kazuma could keep up.

"Mind transfer Jutsu!" Ino said, then suddenly Kazuma stopped moving.

Authors note: This chapter was a bit long so I'm sorry, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Honestly from what I can remember, I really enjoyed this chapter. I hope I'm showing all of Kazuma's weaknesses correctly. Again, this is a slight OOC so don't destroy me in the reviews. Also, Kazuma does have more moves in his arsenal. He's just not showing them yet... *shhhhhh*
