CHAPTER 3

"WELCOME TO YUUEI"

11 years old

"Y-You can do it, Akaneechan!"

Izuku cheered at the sidelines, standing beside Katsuki who is staring at the redhead with an intense look.

Akasuki sweatdropped at the two boys, "I haven't even tried moving, Izukun", she pointed out making Izuku chuckled sheepishly.

It's been a couple of months since the mall incident.

Fortunately, her parents are both alive and well, er... well enough they could be.

Kaori's head was hit hard enough to cause slight damage to her vision. Nevertheless, her mother is a strong woman and merely laughs it off.

She jokingly said she and father are now matchy since they're both wearing glasses now.

Her father, thank god, only got a slight concussion and a fractured arm which is healing.

What made her day was what she announced that night.

"I want to be a hero"

Akasuki announced out of nowhere making her parents freeze and stare at her in shock.

"A hero?", Kaori repeated, "B-But I thought you decided to work at our company?", she stuttered, "What's with the sudden change of heart, Akachan?"

The redhead girl clenched her fists, "I want to help people", she answered firmly.

"You can still help people with our company-"

"-I want to help people in more ways, Mama", Akasuki repeated, cutting her off, "I don't want another incident like this. I-I cried so hard when I realized I couldn't do anything-!"

Her voice cracks, her clenched fist tighten as she grits her teeth, tears stung her eyes, "I don't want to feel helpless anymore, Mama"

She held her head high, her eyes gleaming in determination, "I want to be a hero!"

All things ended well by the time they went home.

Her parents, after accepting the fact they couldn't change her mind, agreed reluctantly much to the girl's relief.

That's how she ended up in this situation, attempting- and failing- to learn how to skateboard.

Why is she learning? Well-

"I got this idea that I could use my screen as a hoverboard", Akasuki explained as she stood on the skateboard, finding the balance she needs to not fall down.

"I figured I could try practicing with a skateboard first before attempting to try the hoverboard... again"

'To be honest, I kinda stole this idea from Tokoyami'

Specifically, the Black Fallen Angel.

The first attempt... hurt.

Since the durability is still low, Akasuki managed to stay on the screen, floating above the ground, for about 20 minutes before falling on the ground with a thud.

Not to mention how slow the screen was moving because her parents are freaking out around her at that time.

The look on her father's face was hilarious.

So worth it.

Izuku's eyes widen in awe at the idea, "That's so cool!", he gushes, "Then you'll be able to do aerial battles! Oh, but of course mastering the skateboard won't be enough-", the green-haired boy began his ramblings.

With face scrunched in focus, he continues muttering under his breath, a hand placed on his chin "-hoverboard and skateboard are different. You should also consider the height your hoverboard could reach and-!"

Akasuki sweatdrops further as the Izuku went off to his own world, Katsuki beside him looking more irritated by the minute.

"It will give me more advantage, yes", the redhead chimes in, halting Izuku's rambling, "But it all depends on the maximum height I could stay afloat"

Akasuki held up a finger, "Currently, I could reach about 10 feet with my weight and about 15 feet without any", she explained.

"The radius I could reach with my screens is about 57 meters, I think?"

The redhead let out a chuckle while scratching her cheek sheepishly, "I know it isn't that impressive since I just started to train seriously though"

Previously, she uses her quirk for convenience, a lazy person she is, and to satisfy her curiously.

As long as she knew what she could do, it didn't occur to her to practice it to strengthen it for a fight.

This just means she got to work harder.

"Oh, Genkei-san!"

Ectoplasm, who is also called Genkei by close friends, let out a smile upon seeing the redhead girl.

"Hello, Akachan. Please, call me Genkei, I insist"

Akasuki, together with her parents, visited the man who helped the redhead girl once they were all cleared to leave.

It was a great shock to Akasuki when she found out that the man whose legs were crushed under the debris was pro-hero Ectoplasm.

Since then, Akasuki made sure to visit the pro-hero at the hospital whenever she could.

It didn't take long for the pro-hero to discharge and began rehabilitating.

The pro-hero made sure to visit the family whenever he has free time, ignoring the protest of the Genji matriarch on how they should be visiting him inside.

He's still using crutches but Akasuki knew he'll be okay- he's a badass character after all.

Oh, but don't worry! Whenever he visits, he's riding in some black car- which the redhead guessed to be Yuuei's property.

Seems like he's a Yuuei teacher already.

Back to the present.

Ectoplasm can be sitting together with her parents by the dining area, cups of coffee can be seen on the table.

"I'll still call you Genkei-san", Akasuki said stubbornly while walking closer to the pro-hero, "And you should really give us a call, you know! What if I went home late and missed your visit?!"

Ectoplasm chuckles, patting the redhead girl's hair fondly, "I called your parents", he informed, "And this is more than a friendly visit"

Akasuki tilts her head, "More than a friendly visit?", she repeated curiously.

"Genkei is here for his legs prosthetics", Sadao explained after taking a sip of his coffee, "We were talking about the date when he'll come by the company to get his measurements"

The Fuji-Gen Corporation, shortened to FGC, is a company owned by the Genji family for generations is recently divided into two branches: Support Items and Medical Equipment.

Naturally, the medical equipment division includes prosthetics.

You must be wondering, what's a richass family living in a two-story house without a single maid, butler, or security. Won't villains try to kidnap Akasuki or her mother?

Kaori prefers to live in simplicity, growing up in a simple household. They previously lived in a condo near the FGC but they decided to relocate once they have children.

They felt safe living beside their close friends, the Bakugo's, who promised to look after their daughter.

As for the kidnappings, let's just say it's the power of the plot armor.

Going back to the matter on hand.

"I will personally make sure to give you only the best, Genkei", Kaori proclaims with a warm smile, "You deserve the best after all"

Ectoplasm's cheeks warmed, letting out a soft smile, "Thank you for such kind words, Kaori, Sadao"

"Well then", Kaori clapped her hands joyfully, "Akachan, sit beside Genkei while I take out the cake, ne?", she exclaimed while getting up, heading towards the kitchen.

"Hai~", Akasuki sang before eagerly taking a sit beside the pro-hero. The two of them exchanging smiles.

Just a normal day in her life.

12 years old

"Tsubasa?"

Akasuki asked, tilting her head in confusion, "You mean, Katsuki's goon? Wing guy?"

Mitsuki nodded while smacking Katsuki's head, who growls in return, "He's been missing for two weeks", Mitsuki explained, earning a soft gasp from Kaori.

The four of them can be seen sitting in the living room of the Bakugo residence.

Kaori decided to visit the two ash-blonde since both of the family's patriarchs are at work.

"That's horrible", Kaori commented with a frown, a hand covering her mouth, "What does the police say? His family? How are-"

"-The police claim it's a lost cause", Mitsuki replied dryly, reaching out for her cup of tea on the coffee table, "The last one who seen him is Katsuki and-", she glances at her son with an exasperated look.

"-this brat only knows he went home after playing"

"He did!", Katsuki snapped, his eye twitching, "I ain't lying about it, you old hag!"

"I NEVER SAID YOU LIED, YOU BRAT!"

The two redheads sweatdropped as they watched the scene before them.

"So does it means, the police are announcing Tsubasa-kun is dead?", Akasuki asked solemnly, catching the mother and son's attention. Mitsuki let out a sigh before nodding, "I'm afraid so, Akachan"

Akasuki didn't see this happening in the manga nor it is confirmed- or maybe it was confirmed before she died but it was months before she watched any anime.

College was filling her schedule and she could only see glimpses of episodes here and there. The last time she read the BNHA manga, she was at chapter 290- seen in her library.

But she knows the manga has reached about 300 plus chapters and still going. It didn't help to soothe the panic she's feeling at the thought of events she didn't know.

Not to mention the ever-existing plot holes.

However, she did read some fan theories here and there and there's one about this Tsubasa goon.

There's this theory that said he was turned into a nomu- the same winged nomu that appeared in Hosu and almost kidnap Izuku.

Knowing a theory from an anime is thrilling and exciting- one could come up with numerous possible events, plot twists, and the ending.

But reincarnating in the world of the show where there's a bad man stealing quirks and kidnapping children-

It's a terrifying thought.

"You're as cute as ever, Katsukun~"

"LET GO OF ME, YOU FAIRY BITCH!"

Akasuki stood by the front door of the Bakugo residence, standing beside Izuku. The two watched at the sight of Katsuki trying- and failing- to push the periwinkle-haired girl who tightened her grip to the ash-blonde.

The two girls, still wearing their school uniforms, just arrived from volleyball practice. They met Izuku on the way and drag him along.

Today's one of the days where Nejire decided to hang out with her best friend- no matter the setting.

She's just lucky that the redhead is heading over the Bakugo's residence today.

Right after entering the household, Nejire- upon spotting Katsuki standing by the stairway- jolts towards him and engulfed him in a tight hug with a bright smile.

As you can see, the ash-blonde boy is displeased at the gesture.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!", Katsuki screeched loudly, squirming angrily in the girl's arms, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU, FAIRY BITCH!"

"KATSUKI!", Mitsuki scolded loudly, appearing from the living room, "STOP BEING RUDE TO NEJIRE-CHAN, YOU STUPID SON!"

"SHUT UP OLD HAG!"

Akasuki averted her gaze towards the cinnamon roll, giving him a closed-eye smile, "Do you want to help me cook some tantanmen [1], Izukun?", she asked completely unfazed.

"I could cook some katsudon [2] for you"

'I'm immune to the craziness by now'

Izuku sweatdropped, "Um- sure, Aka-neechan", he replied sheepishly with a nod.

"Nerechan", the redhead called out, making the periwinkle-haired girl perk up, "Let go of Katsun, please. Izukun and I will start preparing our dinner", she proclaims while removing her shoes.

Nejire pouted, "But it been so long since I saw him", she whines, tugging the grumpy porcupine closer to her chest, "I missed the salty Tsuki~"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!"

Get the preference~?

13 years old

Akasuki let out a low whistle as Katsuki continues drumming without sweat with a nonchalant expression.

'He's so natural at this. I'm so jealous.'

Mitsuki insists Katsuki take some extracurricular classes to widen his skill set which the ash-blonde demanded to have the redhead attend the classes too.

In the end, both children attend the same musical class- specifically the drums.

He's a clingy tsundere type of little brother and Akasuki couldn't help but squeal at the thought.

The porcupine is just so cute sometimes.

"Amazing!"

The instructor praised loudly, clapping her hands earnestly as soon as Katsuki finished his piece, "What a wonderful performance, Bakugo-kun!", she added earning a scoff from the ash-blonde.

'I can feel his ego', Akasuki thought as their instructor continues to praise Katsuki, who is scowling and averting his gaze.

Although the tint of red on the ash-blonde's ears can be seen as clear as day.

'He's such a tsundere'

The Genji Family can be seen wearing formal attire at a business party, specifically the Give Love Foundation's charity party.

Akasuki let out a sigh, completely bored as she stood by the buffet.

The redhead is wearing a knee-length parakeet green off-shoulder cocktail dress that matches her low-heeled shoes. Her mother decided to be quite fancy as she also wears some accessories that complement her dress.

Her hair was beautifully braided then tied into a low bun, courtesy of her mother whom the girl had no idea how she did it.

She hopes her mother teaches some braiding techniques too.

Maybe she'll get to try doing the boys' hair with little braids.

Akasuki chuckles at the thought, 'That'll be so cute'

"You are Genji Akasuki, yes?"

Akasuki turns to face the source of the voice and she saw a couple and a child.

The man has black hair and ever-green eyes. He's wearing a black tuxedo suit, a white shirt inside, with a matching black tie and black shoes.

The woman has a lighter black- I'm calling it grey- hair and sugar gray eyes. She's wearing a long rosy red v-neck dress with matching black shoes.

The oh-so-familiar child, which is a girl, has black hair and onyx eyes. She's wearing a knee light rosy red wrap dress with matching black shoes.

'Huh?'

The man let out a smile, holding out his hand for a handshake, "You might not know me but I'm one of the investors in the Fuji-Gen", he explained.

Akasuki nodded while reaching out to accept the handshake with a polite smile.

'Remember, be polite. This is a formal event, Akasuki.'

Oh how much she wants to go home.

"This is my wife and daughter", the man continues while gesturing the wife and child with him, who both bow slightly making the redhead girl bow in return.

"Oh, my how rude I haven't exactly introduce myself", the man let out a laugh, ending the handshake.

A smile appeared on the man's face as he began the introductions, "I am Yaoyorozu Akihiko, it is a pleasure to meet you"

Akasuki froze as she stares at the family before her like a deer caught in the headlights.

'No. Freaking. Way.'

The man, completely ignorant of the redhead's inner turmoil continues to introduce his wife and daughter.

"This is my lovely wife, Yaoyorozu Moto, and my beautiful daughter, Yaoyorozu Momo"

14 years old

In the backyard of the Genji's residence, Akasuki and Ectoplasm can be seen sparring. Katsuki and Izuku watching the match closely, the latter with shining eyes with a notebook and pen on hand.

With one move, Akasuki landed on the ground with an 'oof' earning a chuckle from the pro-hero.

It's been a couple of months since the pro-hero agreed to train the redhead girl, who yelled happily as soon as she heard the news.

You must be asking, why did he start training her now? or why not train under someone else?

Simple. Akasuki is biased.

Sure, she could reach out to some pro-heroes like Eraserhead, Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, and so on, yet she didn't.

It seems like she gotten attached to a certain pro-hero and wants no one else but him.

Although, she is no slacker either.

Thanks to her quirk, she has a natural low physique and weak body, much to her dismay. Not to mention, she's been training her quirk and strengthening it as years pass by.

She could even control 4 red screens now!

She'll be honest and say she's happy with her progress. She's no overpowered character but it's not like she wants to be one.

She decided to be a hero at her own pace. If she did become one of the strongest then it'll be a great plus but that's a future she'll have to work hard on.

Right now, she's becoming a hero to have the strength to protect her loved ones.

"I'm amazed that your stamina has improved greatly", Ectoplasm praised while offering a hand to the fallen redhead, who accepted it eagerly, "However, your intuition is still severely lacking"

Akasuki, now standing, chuckles as she rubs her head sheepishly, "I'm sure I'll get there someday, Ectoplasm-sensei", she replied, "Not to mention-"

She placed her hands on her hips as she puffed her chest out in pride.

"100 PUSHUPS, 100 SITUPS, 100 SQUATS, AND A 10 KM RUN!", she exclaimed cheerfully, "IT IS THE TRAINING REGIME OF A LEGENDARY HERO!"

"100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats, and a 10 km run", Izuku repeated under his breath, his eyes wide open as he writes that down on his notebook, "This is the training regime of a legendary-!"

A vein appeared on Katsuki's forehead as Izuku continues muttering under his breath, "Shut it, Deku", he snapped with gritted teeth earning a startled yelp from the green-haired boy.

"S-Sorry, Kacchan!"

"Now, now", Akasuki chided while patting the ash-blonde's head, earning a glare from the boy, "You promised to play nice, Katsun", she gave him a knowing look.

"Or do you want to just watch on the sidelines today?"

Right, since the redhead began training, the two boys- mainly Katsuki- demanded to be a part of it too.

Ectoplasm hesitated but agreed in the end after the... angry tantrums.

The pro-hero made it clear that the redhead is the first priority since she's the one with the entrance exam.

Then, the redhead agreed to take the two boys on her training session in one condition.

Katsuki should act as nice as possible.

"I'm training too, you dumb ginger!", Katsuki snapped, angrily stomping towards Ectoplasm, "IT'S MY TURN, OLD MAN!"

And this... is as nice as Katsuki could be.

Akasuki let out a snicker as Ectoplasm reluctantly began training Katsuki, giving pointers here and there as the ash-blonde positioned himself on his fighting stance.

'Well, if he's taking care of-'

"Alright, Izukun", Akasuki turn to face the green-haired boy, who averted his gaze from his childhood to his big sister, "First, let's see your fighting stance first", she instructed.

If Katsuki gets to train to Ectoplasm then Izuku gets to train with the redhead. They switched partners every other day.

When Izuku shifted into his fighting stance, Akasuki proceeds to walk around the boy and looked at his stance while humming faintly.

"You're copying Katsuki's stance again, I see", she pointed out dryly making the green-haired boy's ears turn red, earning a chuckle from the redhead.

'How cute~'

"Izukun, you and Katsun are different", Akasuki started, halting in front of the boy in question, "You admire his skills and I'm flattered that at times you tried copying me too"

'Which he struggles to maintain the stance since I'm more flexible than him'

Akasuki placed her hands on the boy's shoulders, giving him a warm smile, "It's okay to copy the moves of others but always remember that you should do moves that brings out the best of you"

'He fought with his arms because that's what he saw All Might's been doing which isn't that bad per se but... nothing beats doing something much suited to you'

"Don't worry, you'll find something that suits you", Akasuki assured the cinnamon roll, who deflated, "Let's do a few spars then think of this again, ne?", she asked with a grin.

"The loser gets no ice cream~", she sang teasingly making Izuku blink.

He tilted his head before asking, "But you always get ice cream even if you lose!", he accused making an imaginary arrow pierce through the redhead's chest.

"That's... that's true", Akasuki sweatdropped while scratching her cheek sheepishly.

"N-Nevermind then! Let's just start!"

"O-Okay!"

"Are you sure you have everything? What about-"

"-Yes, mom, I have everything here in my bag-"

"-How about your lucky keychain?", Kaori interrupted, fidgeting nervously, "It's a small keychain so are you sure-"

Akasuki chimes in with a smile, "Mom, I'm going to be alright", she assured her mother as she moves to hug her, "Don't worry I'm going to be fine"

Today's the day you've all been waiting for.

The day of the entrance exam for Yuuei.

Sadao let out a smile, reaching out to caress his wife's cheek, "I'm her driver and bodyguard today, Kai. I'll make sure she gets home safe", he cooed before kissing his wife on the lips briefly.

"So stop worrying and just relax, alright?"

Akasuki scrunched her nose in disgust, "Stop kissing in front of me!", she whined, "So gross!"

The couple chuckles in unison before kissing one more time making the redhead girl gag, releasing her mother from the hug to move as far away as possible.

'I swear they just love being so lovey-dovey in front of me!'

Sadao let out a chuckle at his daughter's reaction before looking back at Kaori, his expression softening, "It's just an entrance exam, Kai", he encouraged with a smile.

"Akachan's very strong remember?"

"Yeah!", Akasuki chimes in, puffing her chest out in pride, "Genkei-sensei trained me to be strong just for this moment! He's one of the best, you know!", she gloated.

"So I'm definitely passing this thing!"

"Now, let us embark hero!", Sadao exclaimed while dramatically pointing at the door, "It is time to face the biggest challenge yet!"

The daughter-and-father duo let out a battle cry as they run towards the garage, earning a chuckle from the Genji matriarch.

However, Kaori couldn't push away the weariness making itself known in her chest. She clutches her hand on her chest, closing her eyes in defeat.

'Please... I don't want to lose another one'

"Woah, it's so huge!"

Nejire exclaimed in awe, her eyes shining as she looks at the surroundings, "Yuuei is so cool!"

Akasuki looked away from her friend, the whispers of fellow examinees becoming louder by the minute as Nejire continues to gawk and jolt towards random students, who let out a startled yelp every time.

'Let's... keep our distance, yes that's right'

And so Akasuki walked faster towards the designated conference room where the exam orientation is taking place, leaving the periwinkle-haired girl behind- who was busy bothering the other students.

"Eh?", Nejire stared confused at the redhead as they stood in between two entrances- one in the right and one in the left.

Nejire tilted her head, "Aren't we in the same conference room, Sukichan?", she asked making Akasuki deadpanned.

"I'm taking the recommendation exam and your not, remember?"

It took a couple of minutes for the information to sink in before the periwinkle-haired girl began bawling as she clings at her best friend, much to the redhead's embarrassment.

"NOOOO! IT CAN'T BE RIGHT-!"

"-NERE-CHAN! PLEASE NOT HERE-!"

"-YOU PROMISED WE'LL TAKE THIS TOGETHER AND-!"

Akasuki bows her head repeatedly at the passersby with the periwinkle-haired girl, now, sniffling in the corner with a sad aura.

'Honestly, it feels like I got another younger sibling than a friend'

The redhead let out a sigh before walking towards her sulking best friend. She stops beside her, bent down on her knees, and began patting her best friend's head in comfort.

"There there, Nere-chan", Akasuki cooed, "Genkei-sensei can only recommend one student, remember? Besides, I'm sure you'll get accepted! So don't worry too much~"

'If you wouldn't get accepted then that means I kind of replace you which is bad since it'll cause some butterfly effect or so'

After all, she'd like to follow the plot as much as possible.

She isn't that brave to completely change everything because what if she did change everything but with a cost?

In exchange for the life of her parents or what if neither of her two little brothers gets accepted in Yuuei?

If that changed then there's definitely something going to change on the villain's side.

A scary possibility but she doesn't want to take any chances.

So she decided to stay on the path of the plot for now.

"Now, Nere-chan", Akasuki let out a smile, holding out a fist to her best friend, "How about a bump of good luck?", she suggested.

Nejire sniffled slightly before holding out a fist, bumping it with the redhead's slightly with a pout.

"I still wanna take the entrance exam with you though"

"I know, I know"

Unlike the normal entrance exam, the recommendation exam is divided into three portions.

The written exam, the practical exam, and the interview.

She placed 1st in the written exams- thanks to her quirk.

She placed 3rd in the practical exams- the obstacle course was great for her screens but there are others who are better.

Like the guy who got a quirk similar to the 'Flash', who obviously got first place.

Fortunately, she ranked two overall which met the requirement for the interview portion.

Which is scheduled two days after the written and practical exams.

And that is today.

"Good morning, Miss Genji", Nezu, the principal of Yuuei, greeted the redhead girl in front of him with an opened folder in hand.

Akasuki bow slightly, "Good morning, Nezu-san", she greeted back with a smile, glancing briefly at the camera in the corner of his desk before looking back at the principal.

There are currently four people inside the principal's office- Akasuki, Principal Nezu, Eraserhead, and Present Mic.

Principal Nezu sits in between the two pro-heroes- Eraserhead on his right and Present Mic on his left.

Akasuki, who is sweating like bullets, sat in front of the three pro-heroes.

"First, I believe a congratulation is in order for passing both the written and practical exams with flying colors", Nezu started making the redhead's cheek warm at the praise.

Akasuki chuckle sheepishly, "I- thank you, Nezu-san", she stuttered making her cheeks reddened further, earning a light chuckle from the principal.

'Oh god, I stuttered! This is so embarrassing'

"Ectoplasm has been singing praises about you ever since he started training you", Nezu continued glancing briefly at the said pro-hero, who maintained his stoic expression.

"And I can say that you did better from our expectations"

The redhead girl inwardly let out a sigh of relief, her tense shoulders relaxing at the words of the principal.

"Now, if you don't mind, we have a few questions regarding your quirk"

Akasuki unconsciously straightened at the question while nodding in response.

Nezu glanced down at the folder, which most likely contains her files, in his hand, "You stated you have a sharper memory, this most likely be your reason why you achieved first on the written exam, yes?"

"Yes and no", the redhead answered, "Thanks to my quirk, I remember everything I read. This, unfortunately, limits to texts only- it doesn't include images, sounds, or anything that does not consist of letters"

"I can remember texts on images", she continues, "but faces of historical people, symbols, and such are something I have to put an effort"

"I see. What a fascinating quirk you have, indeed", Nezu hummed, silence filling the office as he wrote something down on the file before speaking again.

"Why choose the hero course?", he asks, "The Genji's are infamous for being great inventors and I could see that if you choose to be- you have the potential to be one"

The principal of Yuuei averted his gaze from the documents and towards the redhead girl.

"Why be a hero instead?"

Akasuki stared at the principal with a thoughtful expression.

She'll be honest and say she expected the question- heck she rehearsed what she would say in this situation just in case.

But expecting it and it happening are two different things.

"My quirk allows me to obtain any type of existing information as long as it is uploaded", she informed the pro-heroes.

She takes a deep breath before continuing, "Did you know that there's an increase of suicidal rates for quirkless people?", she asked, her eyes gleaming with emotion.

"Not to mention the increasing rates of villainy here in the country- which is still one of the countries that are deemed as one of the 'peaceful' countries."

"I'll be honest and say it's because I want the influence of a hero", she continues, "Citizens listens to heroes and-"

"-your mother is an influential person", Eraserhead, or named Aizawa, cuts in with his usual stoic expression, "I heard the idea of the Give Love Foundation is from you, yes?"

"Yes, that is true but-"

"-your family is already influential and people acknowledge you", Aizawa drawls on, "I heard you were the one behind the Give Love Foundation, wouldn't you say you're somewhat influential too?"

Akasuki felt a twinge of annoyance, her eye twitching, as she clenched her fists while trying to remain calm.

'To be fair, they do have a point but- ugh!'

"I believe-", she breathes, "-a hero is someone with the intent on making a better place for everyone. Which means-"

"-and you think that's enough to be-"

"-Which means-", she repeated with gritted teeth, narrowing her eyes to the underground hero, "-everyone can be a hero and everyone strive to be one but that doesn't mean everyone should be"

'God, I forgot he can be an asshole sometimes'

"Whether you believe it or not but heroes can create villains", the redhead persisted, "May it be one wrong accusation, ideals, or even a simple gesture"

She pursed her lips in thought, pausing for a moment, before continuing, "Crime rates decreased when All Might came- it's the reason why he's called the Symbol of Peace but-"

"-What would happen if he's gone?"

It's so obvious that All Might is the only person keeping the sense of peacefulness that's why when he retired and Endeavor became Number One- it's as if the peace that All Might's been protecting is shattered.

And with All Might gone- crimes increased and the faith of the people in the heroes are wavering.

"All Might is just one person but he managed to change the beliefs and ideals of countless people", Akasuki pointed out, "That's the influence I'd like to have"

"I want to be a hero because I believe people listen more to heroes and I'd like to have a shot of making things better with my name and not my family's."

Akasuki gulped as silence filled the room after the speech, she nervously averted her gaze as the three pro-heroes continue to stare at her.

"Um... that's my uh-answer?", the redhead inwardly cringes.

'Goddamn-! OHMYGOD STOP STUTTERING ALREADY ASHGAFA-!'

Nezu let out a smile as he closes the folder, "What an... enlightening answer, Miss Genji", he said, sounding a bit amuse, as he glances at the pro-heroes beside him, exchanging glances.

It another couple of minutes before Nezu spoke again.

"I believe the three of us have come to the same decision", Nezu announced while glancing back at the redhead girl, who nervously gulp.

The principal let out a smile as he held out his hand.

"Welcome to Yuuei, Miss Genji"

STORY NOTES:

Ectoplasm doesn't have a name, other than his hero name, stated in wiki fandoms and such which was a shame.

That's why I decided to name him, which I will change if BNHA decided to give him one.

The name Genkei means "The one who deserves honor and integrity".

The same goes for Momo's father- whom I gave the name Akihiko and Moto.

Akihiko means "bright and compassionate" while Moto means "source".

Likewise, if BNHA named them then I will change- if I am still writing the book when they announced that is.

Although if they already have names do kindly review or message me :)
