My POV
The dinner was quite refreshing. I felt much better. I took a look around Hook's quarters and saw a large, elegant piano. It was polished to perfection and therefore gleamed a little in the candlelight. "Do you like it Eliza?" Hook asked softly. "Indeed, I do." I peeped back. "Would you like to hear me playing a song after we finish dinner?" he asked. "Yes, I would love too." I replied, feeling relaxed. Once dinner had been finished and cleaned up, The Captain took my hand with his remaining one and guided me over to the piano, sat down in front of it, and began playing a beautiful tune. I swayed to it softly, the hems of my dress swaying along. The tune was so peaceful that I almost fell asleep to it but I managed not to do so. "You are really good," I said. "Why thank you, Eliza. This has been a passion of mine for years. Besides, it helps me clear my mind off of things, especially on those failed schemes of catching that blasted Pan. Do you know anyone who plays the piano too?" he answered soothingly. "Yes. Back home, I have a friend of mine who also plays the piano very well. His name is Cameron." I said."Well, that's great to hear that you know someone who has my talent." he replied. "Perhaps one day I could teach you to play." I giggled at this thought, but again, it would be nice. "This beautiful music is making me want to dance." I said. "In that case, would you like to dance with me?" Hook asked, grinning. My cheeks flushed hard. My head spun. It felt mind-boggling. My heart beated faster. I was lost for words. I felt my head getting hot. How could I not refuse? "By all means." I replied, blushing. "But, what about the music?" "Don't worry, Eliza. Some of my crew are good musicians. I will… persuade them to play their instruments on deck. Let's go out." He stood up and headed for the door and I followed. "Ladies first." he said as he opened the door for me. I blushed again in response to his politeness. The night air was a little cool, but that didn't bother me. "Wait here. I won't be long when it comes to ordering my crew around." Hook said before heading down a staircase that I presumed leads to the below deck where all the crew slept and the kitchen was as well. I turned to look up at the Neverland night sky. It was incredibly beautiful. The stars shone like sparkling diamonds against the inky blackness. A full moon glowed exceptionally perfectly. It was a perfect background for a romantic waltz with the captain. (Cue Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp) It was a surefire recipe for romance. I was so captivated by the view that I did not notice Hook returning. He tapped on my shoulder. "The musicians are up. While they ready themselves, why don't we have a practice dance?" he asked. "Sure." I replied. "This is my first time trying the waltz, by the way. I may stumble a little." "Relax. I will hold you." he reassured. He wrapped his left arm around my waist. I felt the cold metal of his hook on my back but didn't mind. He took my right hand in his. "Put your other hand on my shoulder." he said. I did as told. Something felt weird. I haven't done a waltz before, especially with the gentlemen of a pirate I dreamed about. I felt my cheeks grow hot again. "Is there something wrong, Eliza?" Hook asked. "It's just that… that… It's my first time dancing the waltz and I don't know where to go." I said tensely. "Just follow my lead." he replied. "Put your left foot there…" I followed his instructions as best as possible, stumbling occasionally. But he still kept me on my feet. Soon I was spinning gracefully under his arms after each elegant step back and forth. It was incredibly beautiful. I locked my blue eyes with his hazelnut ones and smiled. "I'm ready for the music." I whispered. "Excellent." Hook said. He turned his head to the pirate musicians and snapped his fingers, indicating to start the music. As the slow music began, so did our waltz. (Cue So This is Love from Cinderella) As we waltzed, we locked eyes with one another once again. The longer I stared, the stronger my feelings became. It seemed his warm eyes were melting my heart. I sighed contentedly and relaxed my head onto his right shoulder. I have never felt so exalted. My dreams were finally coming true. We kept waltzing until the music ended. At the end, he was holding me right against his chest tightly, looking down at me with a smirk. The distance between our faces started to shrink. I realized He's going to kiss me! I tried to back away, but his left arm locked me in place. There was no going back now. My face flushed a bright pink as our faces drew closer. Hook tilted my head slightly when our lips were mere inches apart. "I feel nervous." I whispered. "Don't be." he replied. He leaned even closer and...
