From the beginning it had been us three since elementary.

The boy with the whiskers under his blue eyes was in love with me but I could only see his Best friend and rival. I joined the Fight club to follow behind him.

Sasuke Uchiha who closely follows behind his older brother The new rookie at the time Itachi. Every girl at school liked him. Even my best friend at the time Ino.

Itachi Uchiha has buzz like no other I remember He would pick Sasuke up while he was with Naruto and I. He would encourage him to go Pro as soon as he turns 16. The Uchiha agency was a power player back then 5 years ago to be more accurate. They called him the 4 minute knock out. Sasuke looked up to him. They get in arguments together a lot though.

"Sorry Naruto I don't feel the same " I Had to break his heart. "I have to go I'll see you tomorrow " She says with a lowered head.

"I don't back down Sakura " he whispered as she paused then ran to the front of the school

That's a day I replay in my head over and over again. When he held me close I knew there was no other place I'd rather be even in those determined blue eyes who promised me what ever women would want to hear. Every women but me.

Naruto knew something had changed. He was nosey and worried about me he didn't stop until he caught us kissing in Sasukes room. I never meant to hurt him like I did that day.

He literally cried "what's wrong with me " and ran away.

I ran after him.

"Naruto!" I yelled from the bottom of my heart. Forgive me.

"Be quiet Sakura " Sasuke told her and walked ahead to the distraught Uzumaki.

"Listen it's unfortunate that this has you upset but that girl right there is mines. She belongs to me. Now you can live with it or we can no longer be good ever "

Naruto looked at Sasuke then me.

His lips went into a thin line. "Don't hurt her " he said in a crack voice that stabbed her heart.

"What I do with her is none of your business Got that ?"

Naruto turned his back and left into the night.

"I'll see you at practice Sakura " was all he said before leaving.

Sasuke took me back in his home he shared with his only family member.

"I know this might be painful for him but he will move on in time he can't have you. It's best for you to let him down harshly I know you rejected him before but that idiot won't get it. He has things lined up in America even though he's refusing to join the family business he'll go their and find someone "

"I love you " she responded.

He grabbed her cheek. "I'm going Pro this summer Itachi's matches are overseas all next season. Our family business is on its last leg Itachi can't be the only one to bring in the money "

Sakura blushed then smiled "we'll be the hottest couple in sports because I'll go Pro too "

"I fell in love with the sport it helped me when my mom passed "

His parents and my mom died on a train crash coming back into town. My dad then ran off with some women 6 months later. A few days later

I saw Naruto punching the trainers hand in the ring.

Once he were dressed we went out to go get coffee. I had to be the one to tell him. I didn't want his pride or feelings to show in front of Sasuke.

"We're going to Sand City "

"Your dropping out of school ? Your going Pro ? "

"There's nothing here for me anymore yes I want to go pro "

"What about Me ? I'm here "

"I can't live my life for you Naruto " she sighed softly.

Naruto nodded. "Then There's no reason to stay here with my grandpa I'll go to America "

"I thought that was the last thing you wanted "

"Why does it matter Sakura you made your choice I'm making mines "

Then and there Ino came running in crying. "It's Sasuke Itachi "

That was the moment it all came tumbling down.

Come to find out Itachi had been lying on his physical to get a pass to fight in the ring. In his latest fight he got an upper cut to the chest. The blow was deadly.

That day after not being able to to get in touch with Sasuke I went to the gym and there Naruto was. We didn't say any words he just handed me the gloves and I began punching his hands with the guards. So hard until I cried and he wrapped his arms around me.

"Sasuke Left" Naruto told her.

Everything stopped.

"Itachi still had everything lined up for him to go Pro. He can't do it under Uchiha Corporation anymore but he's going to use the Uchiha connections to get an agency"

Sasuke left me and didn't even say goodbye. He didn't even break up with me. Not a phone number or single kiss. Gone into thin air while I'm still here. Tears spilled out on their own.

I cried into Narutos chest as he patted my head. My body shook against him. For a second I pretended I were in Sasuke arms before reality hit again.

I looked up at Naruto as if he grew two heads.

Her eyes soften as she smiled. "Naruto you have your own life you damn idiot "

That idiot left me week later.

I hadn't heard anything for a while. I avoided all media for a year. On graduation Ino explained she were going to Sand city to try her hand at going pro then retire early so she can be an establish trainer like her father is.

I spent the next 3 years planning and planning my way to make it to the pros. I saw posters and watched some fights and would catch a glimpse of Sasuke. His shorts were dark blue satin with a red and white fan crest. I tried not to linger to long. When he left My heart had froze like a lake in the dead of winter.

However when I heard about Narutos success rising as well. I would get excited and was reminded even in the dead of winter under a frozen lake there is still life. I saw the cherry blossom shorts he wore when he fought. It was his own little message just to me. A message that I cherish and meant you are not alone.

.I were 21 I got the insurance deposit from my mother and began making the arrangements to move to Sand city.

When I got there it was a total bust I had been there for a week and all of my money had been placed into deposits to pay for my rent, utilities and food. I tried to find scouts but learned they moved on to another town. I went to the Yamanaka training gym and they had to move to konoha. Desperate I wonder into a hotel to apply for a job.
