CHAPTER 4

Ginny was more nervous than she could ever remember. It was already the first of September and she was, with her three kids, at Kings Cross, waiting for the departure of the Hogwarts Express. Hermione and Ron were also there, with their twelve years old son, Patrick. George and his wife Angelina Johnson with their, also twelve years old son Fred, were there too. Lastly, Bill and Fleur and their two daughters, Victoire and Dominique, fourteen and thirteen, respectively, both the vivid image of their mother.

The train station was full of families saying goodbye to their children with teary eyes. Ginny didn't have that problem, she would be seeing her kids again at school. She had been accepted as the new flying instructor and McGonagall had given her permission to take Haley with her and have their own room.

The days leading up to the Hogwarts departure date had Ginny upset. Even though she was relatively safe at Grimmauld Place, she felt unprotected, that house had never felt right, it was way too creepy. Luckily, thanks to Hermione's intellect, she had gotten a new wand. The older witch had gotten hold of a Polyjuice Potion and given it to Ginny, that way she drank it and went to Ollivander's. The old wizard had recognize her, through her magic, but had agree not to say a word to anybody. The rest of the shopping for Hogwarts materials had been done by her brothers, Ginny couldn't risk herself anymore.

She had also wanted to avoid Kings Cross and just apparate herself and children to Hogsmeade but the train ride there was compulsory to the students. It wasn't what she wanted, though she had to admit that it was a great opportunity for her kids to get to know their cousins and new classmates.

"Ginny, they are fine. We're all here. Relax a little bit." Hermione whispered to her when she noticed her friend's anxiety.

"Yes, I know. Nevertheless, I just can't make myself relax."

"Mommy, I wan' to go by tain" Haley's voice interrupted them. Ginny felt a smile tugging on her lips, she remembered doing the exact same comment to her mother every single time her brothers went to Hogwarts, leaving her behind.

"It's train," Ginny corrected her "and I'm sorry, little one, you are coming with me. You'll go with them once you're older."

"But I want to go with Tommy." said Haley crossing her arms and making an angry face to her mother.

"Tommy is older, so is Emma." Ginny explained to her, incapable of not smiling at her daughter's cuteness.

"Em is also going by tain?"

"She's so cute." said Angelina who had been observing the mother-daughter exchange.

"Not as cute as me." commented George while putting his arm on his wife's shoulders. Angelina just rolled her eyes amusedly, making everybody laugh.

"She makes the same faces you used to do when you were little, Gin. That sweet pout could make everybody do absolutely anything for you. You were quite an extortionist" said Bill watching Haley's expression with a hint of nostalgia.

"I'm not an estortionist!" exclaimed Haley a little bit mad, gaining a laugh from all the adults.

"Aww, you agge such a lovely girl!" Fleur told her. Even after living for so many years at Great Britain, her French accent was as strong as ever.

"Well, it's time. Guys come and say goodbye" said Ron while calling his son and nephews.

Thomas and Emma had stayed near their mother, they hadn't socialized much with their cousins. Ginny really couldn't blame them, they didn't know them, they were complete strangers. Besides, her son has never been good at talking with others, preferring books over people, and Emma was always a little shy at first.

"See you in a few hours. Try and make a friend, okay?" Ginny told her two older kids before parting ways with a kiss and a hug.

Both Nott children started making their way to the train, some steps behind their cousins. Ginny followed them with her eyes but suddenly they connected with the blue ones of a blonde man. His gaze made her shiver. It was so intense that it seemed to break through her body to her most intimate secrets. The connection broke when a teenager with electric blue hair stole the man's attention and then he disappeared.

"Harry." whispered Ginny to herself, incapable of believing her eyes.

Harry Potter was with his godson Teddy Lupin at platform 9 ¾ of Kings Cross station. Teddy had wanted the full Hogwarts experience, he wanted to travel on the Hogwarts express, so Harry hadn't had another option more than to take him there.

"Could you please calm a little bit? Ted, it's just a train ride." helaugh at his godson's expenses. Teddy couldn't stay still, he was practically bouncing on the spot.

"It's not just a train ride, it's THE ride on the Hogwarts Express, Harry."

"James." the older wizard reminded him with a serious expression.

"Sorry, it's an habit" he apologised with a blushed face.

"It's okay, as long as you don't say it in front of others I forgive you. So… which house do you want to get selected to?"

"Mmm… I think I would like to be a Gryffindor, like you and my dad. Hufflepuff wouldn't be bad either, mom was one. I wouldn't get into Ravenclaw, 'cause, let's be face it, I'm not that intelligent. And, please granma Andy, forgive me," implored Teddy looking upwards to the direction of the sky. "but Slythering gives me the creeps and a little bit of repulsion."

Teddy was a lot like his mother, he had the ability to amuse Harry with anything he said and with his metamorphic skills, it was really difficult to get bored. On the other side, he also reminded him of Remus, he was compassionate, insightful and courageous, and of course, as the son of a Marauder, he was quite a mischievous kid.

"I also think you can't get into Ravenclaw" Harry made fun of him, even though he actually thought his godson was way too intelligent for his own good. "And you wouldn't fit well in Slytherin, I mean, your father was a werewolf and your mother a daughter of a muggle born. So, the question is, will you be a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor? I say Hufflepuff."

"Nah, I'll get into Gryffindor" answered Teddy.

"Do you want to bet? Let's see… twenty chocolate frogs for the one who wins, are you in?" Harry challenged him extending his hand for him to take it. Teddy's weakness was those candies.

"I'm in." he answered shaking his godfather's hand to sealed the deal.

Harry looked away, to observe the platform and his eyes suddenly found with a pair of brown ones, making his stomach do a flip that he hadn't experienced in years. That look that he had missed so much and had never been able to forget. The woman with fiery red hair still captivated him, just like when he was a teenager.

The whistle of the train made him break contact with those hypnotic eyes. Teddy gave him one last hug.

"See you in a while, Harry" he whispered his name so that nobody could hear him.

"Behave yourself, don't do any mischiefs"

"I'll try" he answered and proceeded to get into the train.

With one last look at the redhead, Harry apparated away to Hogsmeade, and made his way to his old home, to Hogwarts.
