MC: another day, another chapter full of havoc!
Day 4- Darkness From Within...
Lady Miss Fortune got up early this morning, summoned her scythe and packed some cinimom rolls for breakfast, it was Supply Day again, and she needed more HALO, for some reason, she heads to the usual spot, but before she could claim her prize..
...A Car is sent flying at her!
Lady Miss Fortune dodged the flaming object only to look at the three figures staring at her.
It was Dark Cupid, only he wasn't alone, next to him was Reposte, once known as Kagami, and Stoneheart, once know as Ivan.
"Great, more trouble..." Lady Miss Fortune growled.
"Fogive us, but we need this HALO more!" proclamed Reposte, Stoneheart just growled.
Lady Miss Fortune redies her scythe and send waves of darkness, sending Dark Cupid flying into a buliding! she then turns her attention to Stoneheart, who just backs away and runs for his life, leaving Reposte to face her wrath, But before she could even blink, she doubles over in pain, right in front of Reposte!
"Dear God, it's happening...isn't it?" Reposte asks, Lady Miss Fortune only nods as black, almost metalic tentecles sprout from her body!
Acting quickly, Reposte grabs a HALO injector and administers the medicine, and just as fast as they came, the tentecles recede back into her body.
Reposte carries the now knocked-out Lady Miss Fortune to Lady Wi-Fi's house.
"What the hell heppened?" Lady Wi-Fi asked.
"Why did you not tell us that Lady Miss Fortune was a Stage 2?" Reposte asked.
Stage 1 AKUMA virus victims can maintain their condittion with HALO injections, but Stage 2 victims require medical attention as well as twice the normal amount of HALO, otherwise they will mutate further and risk the chance of going feral!
"She didn't want to be a bother..." Lady Wi-Fi explained.
"Shit...this isn't good, i must report to Queen Wasp that we half to accelerate our plans, i've given her a concentrated dose of HALO but she will need more in about a week or so." Reposte explains, "I've left some more HALO at her place as well, good day to you." and with that, the sword-weilder takes her leave.
Later that night...
Lady Miss Fortune opens her eyes to find herself resting on a couch, Weredad rushes to her side along with Lady Wi-Fi!
"Sweetie, you're alive! oh thank god! why didn't you tell me you were at Stage 2?" he asked.
"Dad, Everyone needs HALO, i shouldn't get special treatment just because i have it worse." she explained.
"Girl! you mother died because she was at Stage 2! i'm not burrying another family member!" spoke Lady Wi-Fi.
"Honey, i know that you're always thinking about others, but you need to also put you own needs on priority as well." Weredad explained, "you deserve to be happy too!"
Lady Miss Fortune smiled for the very first time in her life since the virus...
