Chapter 3: Banishment and work

Evie sighed. Why did Maleficent have to ruin everything?

Evie thought back to the day when Maleficent and her mother had a full out war in the streets about who'd rule the isle. It just so happened Maleficent won, and since then, Evil Queen held a grudge on the evil witch Mal and her mother.

Evie couldn't understand why she didn't hold against Sunset.

Maybe Shere Khan was funny. Maybe Sunset wasn't involved.


Uma stormed into Ursula's Fish and Chips.

"You're late!" barked Ursula. "These dishes ain't gonna clean themselves, you know!"

Uma groaned. "Mom!"

Uma was 6, nearly 7.

"Let's do this together," said Gil. "As friends."

Sunset nodded, agreeing with him.
