A/N : Thank you for all the support so far! It means so much! The last chapter seemed out of order but I needed some information out so consider chapter three a filler chapter. I will include more of the friends from now on!

Monica sipped on her coffee, before the sound of someone knocking on the door broke her chain of thoughts. Opening the door she was greeted with the sight of Matt, a former friend of hers.
"Oh god! It's been so long!" Monica exclaimed as Matt went in for a hug. "How are you?"
"As good as I can be" He smiled fondly at her. "You look great!"
She laughed politely, before ushering him in. "So how's the new place?"
"Good, good," He smiled, "I barely see Chandler at work now-a-days. He got promoted didn't he"
Monica only nodded, still smiling, and Matt went into detail of his new place and how his colleagues seem to hate him.
"I've got to get going," Matt stood up. "The past two hours went by way too quickly"
"We should meet up some time," Monica said, as she followed him to the door. " You should meet all our close friends"
He nodded and they made a bit more of small talk before Rachel came into view, and smiled politely.
"Oh Matt, this is my best friend and roommate, Rachel," Monica introduced. "And Rach this is Matt, he used to live in the building. Chandler and I were friends with him"
They both smiled at each other before Matt finally left after a phone call from his boss urging him to come to work in the name of an emergency.
"Nice guy huh" Rachel asked, opening the freezer. " I had no idea that you and Chandler were friends… I mean just the two of you"
"Yeah, When I first moved in. I was lonely and Chandler soon moved in a week later―putting our past behind we actually became good friends" Monica smiled at the memory. " At first he annoyed me with all his jokes but now I can't help but smile at every one of his dumb jokes."
Monica turned around. Rachel was standing with an unreadable expression, a smile permanently fixed on her face. "So how does Matt come into this?"
"Oh Chandler's old roommate, Kip, introduced us. He was nice and we all got along" Monica paused. "Then Phoebe moved in with me and soon after Kip got married Matt moved out twenty minutes away and we lost touch. Then Joey moved in and the rest- is well history"
Rachel smiled, "There is so much I'm missing"
"Pheebs, I love you. But I'm fine" Chandler groaned as Phoebe trailed behind him. "If you want I'll live in this apartment so I'll be here before you are, Happy?"
"Fine, fine" She giggled, "Monica's not going to like that though"
Chandler stopped in his tracks, how could he forget, Monica hated him and recently she didn't even want to be in the same room as him let alone welcoming him to stay at her apartment. "I was kidding," he sheepishly chuckled.
"We were talking about how you all met," Rachel said, grinning. "Well I mean- you know how all the five of you became friends"
"Ooo It was Monica and Chandler!" Phoebe pointed at the both of them, Monica smiled at Phoebe as she poured coffee into three cups.
"Coffee?" She asked, looking at Chandler who was stunned for a moment before giving her a lopsided grin while nodding.
Maybe she didn't hate him after all.
"Well actually me and Mon didn't get along immediately" Chandler sat on the edge of the couch. Facing an eager Rachel, "Because of what happened when I was in College"
"But we did get along after a few apologies and embarrassing situations" Monica walked over with cups of coffee in her hand. "We honestly had become mutual friends at Ross's wedding"
"Where Mon lost a bet" Chandler grinned, as Monica rolled her eyes. "I told her that I saw Carol showing interest in a professor on campus a few weeks ago, a female professor"
"And that's when I decided I was done talking to Chandler" Monica said,her blue eyes shifting to him.
"My turn!" Phoebe jumped. "Monica was interviewing new roommate and then I came in-
"Hey guys" Ross and Joey walked in to be met with a glare from Phoebe.
"I'm telling a story here" She turned back to Rachel. "And at first I thought Monica hated me because she thought I was weird and might steal her stuff "
"I did not!" Monica put her cup down. " Kip said that!"
"Yeah and Mon and Kip had a fling" Ross said, laughter filling his voice. "Which I found out about from Chandler"
"See!" Joey pointed out, "I didn't have a fling with Monica, which makes me the better roommate" He stated with an edge in his voice directed at Chandler.
"Monica had a crush on Joey when he moved in though" Phoebe laughed, and Monica shot her a glare.
"Really?!" Rachel joined in laughing.
"She seemed to have a thing for each of my roommates," Chandler grumbled, straightening his tie out.
"You poor thing" Rachel teased before , " I initially thought you two might have had a thing going when I first moved in"
"Don't worry Chandler, Your next" Joey asked, excited before muttering a ' just kidding' after receiving looks from both Monica and Chandler.
"Good one!" Ross laughed, played with his cup of coffee. "That's like everyone knowing that Carol was a lesbian when we were getting married"
"How did you not catch on?" Rachel asked, shaking her head in amusement.
"NO-ONE DID!"
The rest of the evening went by with everyone recollecting memories of the past. Chandler's mood had progressively been better than it had all week, and Monica couldn't stop smiling. Funnily enough, the world seemed to be inching its way to be filled with color with each of the six friend's laughs. After a while Ross and Phoebe headed out, soon followed by Joey and Rachel went to bed stating she had an early day tomorrow.
Monica went over to the kitchen placing the cups away and Chandler helped.
Both smiling at each other for more than one good reason before Chandler slung his coat over his shoulder, "I did" the small smile still intact on his lips. "That Carol could have been lesbian"
He left with a permanent grin and Monica couldn't help but laugh once she figured out he was talking about Ross's comparison with the prospect of them having feelings for each other.
