Okay here is chapter 4!
Sorry this one took so long...
I found myself actually reading the manga...
I had to back track several times because I would get a head of where I was in here...
Yeah so This is this chapter I hope you like it.
It is semi-short it's a bit longer then the last one.
Oh and please don't hate me for this I kinda skimmed through Fantasia...
I put in some of the key battles minus Mira and Freed's...
That one was way too long to do literally it took almost 2 volumes!
So I skipped it...
Lucy and Bickslow are in here and part of Laxus and Mystogan's...
I am completely horrible when it comes to writing fighting scenes, I'm working on it...
Okay, so most of it is word for word in the manga I'm reading online some is not and some is which is what took so long on this one...
So please I'm sorry if you thought I would put more in here when it comes to the battles but it would have taken way too many chapters to complete The Fantasia arc alone So for this I'm putting in some of my favorite parts and then just some of it is what I think would have happened if this actually happened in the manga/anime...
So some parts I just winged it xD

Onto the show! (No pun intended)
Natsu was bored watching the girls up on stage. He missed his best friend. He couldn't find the energy to even lift his head off the table. Even when the guild started yelling something about stones. He wasn't exactly paying attention. He vaguely registered hearing a strange female voice, it was familiar but he shrugged it off. Even the males voice that came after, he knew it wasn't Max's voice but again he didn't have the energy to even look.
Well, not until Happy, his best friend besides Lucy, said something that made his ears twitch.
"Is that Lucy?" Happy whispered in disbelief. This caused Natsu to perk up. He raised his head to see what Happy was talking about.
For a second he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. 'Luce's with Laxus?' Natsu thought internally as he watched the scene play out in front of him.
It wasn't until he heard her voice that he believed that his eyes weren't trying to trick him.
"Don't even Laxus..." Lucy said through grit teeth. "Don't hurt them..." Lucy added.
He heard Laxus sigh then chuckle before he spoke. "Fine..." Laxus purred in Lucy's ear as he nipped at her ear lobe.
Natsu couldn't believe what he was seeing, to the point where the rest of the conversation went in one ear and out the other. His eyes were only focused on his best friend that's been missing for weeks.
"For the record... I'm not okay with this..." Lucy said as she shot a glare at Laxus.
Laxus just chuckled, "Cooperate and I won't hurt them... Too much anyway..." Laxus said in her ear. But Natsu could hear every word being spoken between the 2 of them.
He heard the master say something but his brain was too focused on his friend. Her next words confused him. "Not by choice Master..." He heard Lucy say but then what he heard next had him angry.
He heard a growl, a growl that he knew too well but it was attached to Laxus who then spoke. "Quiet!" He heard Laxus growl into Lucy's ear.
He watched as Laxus continued to speak but what he had to say he didn't care. He only cared about what Lucy meant by she wasn't here by choice. He wanted to growl when he saw Laxus nuzzle into Lucy's hair. But it seemed to calm Laxus down.
He heard Laxus' next words and he suddenly had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. "Let The Battle Of Fairy Tail Begin!" Laxus shouted.
Natsu watched Lucy grit her teeth and close her eyes. He knew that look, he's seen it many times before. She was trying to fight back tears. Natsu couldn't help himself when he stood up and began walking towards Laxus and Lucy. He had tunnel vision. All he saw was his best friend trying not to cry.
"Luce..." Natsu said causing Lucy to snap her head up to look at him with wide eyes.
"Natsu..." Lucy said in a surprised tone. But the growl that sounded in her ear told her Laxus wasn't happy.
"Luce..." Natsu began to say as he tried to step forward again but a heavy hand on his shoulder made him stop. Natsu looked over his shoulder to see Gajeel with his red eyes narrowed on where Laxus and Lucy stood.
"Don't Salamander..." Gajeel said in a hard tone. Natsu felt Gajeel's hand tighten on his shoulder when he went to shrug him off. "You can't get too close..." Gajeel said in warning.
"Why can't I? Luce is my best friend!" Natsu growled.
"She's been marked..." Gajeel said narrowing his eyes onto Laxus and Lucy.
"Marked?" Natsu asked with a tilt of his head.
"Didn't your dragon teach you anything?" Gajeel growled.
"Of course he did, he taught me his magic..." Natsu said completely missing the point.
"You're telling me he never taught you about mating?" Gajeel stared at him in disbelief.
"What's that?" Natsu asked being totally serious.
Gajeel's jaw dropped. "Maybe I'll explain it to you later but I'm not now, we have bigger problems right now... But trust me on this you can't get to close to Bunny she has the mating mark and from the smell of it she's had it for weeks..." Gajeel said.
"I still don't understand... And I don't care! I'm going to get Luce back no matter what!" Natsu growled finally shrugging off Gajeel's hand. Natsu turned back to Laxus and charged at him. "Give Luce Back Laxus!" Natsu yelled as he leaped into the air with his fist ablaze.
"NATSU!" Everyone yelled. Most sweat dropped at the impulsive slayer.
"Do it..." Laxus growled in Lucy's ear.
As Natsu was getting closer Lucy pulled out a key. "I'm sorry Natsu..." Lucy whispered. She held the key out in front of her, "Open Gate Of The Maiden! Virgo!" Lucy chanted.
In a flash of light Virgo appeared. "Punishment Princess?" Virgo asked.
"No Virgo... But I need to you chain up Natsu..." Lucy said as she closed her eyes to look away letting a tear fall from her eye.
"As you wish Princess..." Virgo said knowing that her key-holder is doing this against her will. Within seconds Natsu was tied up in chains and dropped at Makarov's feet.
"Huh? What happened?" Natsu said blinking his eyes rapidly. He looked at himself noticing the chains. He looked back up to Lucy to see Virgo bowing to Lucy before disappearing.
"Luce?" Natsu asked not understanding why she was helping Laxus in the first place.
"Natsu... Are you okay my boy?" Makarov asked not taking his eyes off the stage. He too didn't understand why Lucy was listening to Laxus.
"Yeah... I think so Gramps... Virgo's chains though, they are magic canceling..." Natsu grumbled.
"Lucy, my child, why are you helping him?!" Makarov asked in a pained voice.
"She doesn't have a choice..." Gajeel said coming up behind Makarov.
"What do you mean she doesn't have a choice?" Makarov asked.
Gajeel hung his head because he didn't like the situation but figured Makarov didn't know much about it if anything at all. "It's hard to explain but that mark on Bunny's neck is how he's controlling her... When this is all over I'll explain better but you old man will also explain how Laxus can be a dragon slayer..." Gajeel growled.
"That's a long story as well..." Makarov said looking to Lucy who he now could tell didn't want to be doing any of this. "How do we help her?" Makarov asked.
"There is no way of undoing it... Once it's done, it's done..." Gajeel explained feeling sorry for Lucy.
"There has to be a way! We need to save Luce..." Natsu said looking at Gajeel who could see the determination in Natsu's eyes.
"I'm sorry Salamander... But there is no way... She bound to him for the rest of their lives... They can't be separated..." Gajeel said but their conversation was cut short.
Natsu snapped his head back to look at the stage. "If you wish these girls to be put back to normal you must defeat us!" Evergreen announced.
"There's 4 of us and near a 100 of you guys!" Bickslow cackled. "The odds are stacked against us!" "Bickslow continued. 'Against us! Against us!' 'Stacked! Stacked!' Bickslows babies chanted.
"There's a 3 hour time limit... If you don't take all of us down before that, These girls will all be turned to sand..." Evergreen said with a smirk.
"The battlefield is all of Magnolia... Once you find us the battles will begin!" Laxus explained.
"Don't toy with me Boy!" Makarov shouted as he activated his titan magic.
Laxus scoffed, "I told you not to fly off the handle... Just enjoy the festival's entertainment..." Laxus said as a blinding light engulfed the the guild hall. "Let The Battle Of Fairy Tail... BEGIN!" Laxus' voice echoed through the guild hall. When the light died down Laxus and Lucy were gone.
Every mage of Fairy Tail ran from the guild hall into the town in search of the Thunder Legion. Well everyone but Master Makarov, Natsu, Happy and Gajeel. Happy could fly through with no problem but the others couldn't.
When they collided with the wall of runes, writing slowly appeared stating "Rule: Anyone 80 years of age or Stone Statues Are Forbidden From Crossing The Border" Causing Master Makarov to be stuck inside the guild hall. After a few more minutes the chains on that tied Natsu disappeared in a poof of smoke.
"Finally those got annoying..." Natsu grumbled. "Alright sorry Gramps but I need to get Luce!" Natsu ran for the door but hit the wall of runes that showed the same rule again. "What the hell!?" Natsu yelled.
"Why can't you get out?" Makarov asked.
"I don't know! What the hell is going on?!" Natsu ranted.
Across The Town At The Cathedral – Time Skip 1 and half hours later
Laxus and Lucy landed outside the Cathedral over an hour ago. Once on the ground Laxus had lead Lucy inside. She didn't like doing what she did specially to her best friend. After being silent and watching the numbers go down for over an hour seeing the members of Fairy Tail battle each other Lucy decided to finally open her mouth.
"Do not make me do that again..." Lucy said in a hardened tone.
"You don't get a say... You'll do exactly what I want you to..." Laxus said walking to the back of the Cathedral.
Lucy stood from her seat in the front row. "Laxus I won't fight them..." Lucy said crossing her arms as she walked forwards and turned around to lean against the wall.
"You don't have a choice..." Laxus said as he stalked closer.
"Laxus..." Lucy began until he was right in front of her. "I'd rather die than hurt them..." Lucy said looking Laxus straight in the eyes.
Laxus didn't like that look, he wanted to erase it. If his growl was anything to go on, Lucy had a feeling he was about to 'Punish' her. Though at this point she was used to it not that she would let him do so, so easily.
"Fine... I won't make you fight... For the time being, after all they have to make it here first..." Laxus said with a smirk.
Lucy shakes her head and goes to walk away from him. "I don't care I will not fight them no matter what you say..." Lucy said as she pushed passed Laxus who grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him.
"Why must you be so difficult?" Laxus growled burying his nose into her hair.
Lucy sighed. "Why do you have to be such an ass hat?" Lucy retorted.
Laxus tightened his hand around her arm while he growled. "You can't disobey my orders..." Laxus growled.
"You've been ignoring the score..." Lucy said with a smirk.
"What?" Laxus said as he turned around the number count had gone down quite a bit in the beginning. Starting at 100, then it went down, last Laxus looked there was 2 left. Now it said 4. "WHAT?! 4? How can that be?" Laxus snapped tightening his hand around Lucy's arm causing her to wince.
"Erza Vs. Evergreen" The writing stated as it appeared in the middle of the room.
"How did Erza escape?" Laxus seethed.
"Don't underestimate Fairy Tail..." Lucy said in a smug tone.
"You'll go fight..." Laxus said in a demanding voice.
Lucy grit her teeth, "No! I told you I will not fight them..." Lucy said glaring at him..
"You will!" Laxus demanded coming up to her pinning her to the wall behind her.
"No!" Lucy said through grit teeth.
Laxus growled as he nipped at the mark on her neck causing Lucy's knees to grow weak but she refused to fall.
"You'll do as I say... You will go out and you will fight!" Laxus growled.
Lucy closed her eyes when an plan formed in her mind. "Fine..." Lucy said.
Laxus smirked against her neck. "That's my good girl..." Laxus said giving one last nip.
Lucy pushed passed him, "If I were you though Laxus I'd look at how many fighters are now left..." Lucy said as she walked through the front doors. After she exited the Cathedral Freed appeared just outside the doors.
"Miss. Lucy? Where are you going?" Freed asked.
"I'm following orders..." Lucy said with a smirk. "He told me to go fight..." Lucy said as she continued to walk forward. "But he never said to fight for him..." Lucy whispered when she made sure she was far enough away from Freed.
Freed didn't hear the last part due to Lucy being too far away but shrugged and went inside.
Freed entered and heard Laxus speak. "How could Ever be defeated by the likes of Erza? When did you get so weak Ever?!" Laxus growled.
"Erza was too strong for her... Perhaps Bickslow or I should have gone?" Freed said walking up behind him.
"What did you come here for Freed?" Laxus growled low.
"Because the game is over... The hostages are released and there is no more reason for the master to play..." Freed replied. Laxus spun to glare wide eyed at him, to Freed Laxus look too wild and unstable. It was further supported when a bolt of lightning flew by right next to Freed, it being too close for comfort for Freed's liking. "Laxus..." Freed said in disbelief.
"This isn't over..." Laxus said as Lightning licked over her skin. "If you aren't going to follow my lead, then leave..." Laxus said before turning away from him. "My Fairy Tail doesn't need you..." Laxus growled. "Time for a new rule..." Laxus smirked.
Fairy Tail Guild Hall
The girls have been released and master was filling them all in on the events. Most were worried mainly about Lucy being with Laxus. When they saw the number turn go up from 4 to 7 now including the freed girls. Before the girls could go after Laxus more runes appeared swirling around them.
"Can you hear me old man? And all you wimps of Fairy Tail?" Laxus' voice echoed through the guild hall.
"Laxus..." Natsu muttered.
"One of the rules stopped, making sense, so I thought I'd follow up with a new rule..." Laxus chuckled darkly. "The battle of Fairy Tail is going to continue, and to make sure it does... I started up the Thunder Palace!" Laxus laughed manically.
"Did he say Thunder Palace?" Makarov asked in disbelief.
"You have an hour and 10 minutes... Do you think you can beat me? Or do you just want to retire now, Master?" Laxus said before the runes disappeared.
"What are you thinking Laxus!? You're going to involve everyone whether they have a connection to the guild or not?!" Makarov shouted before stopping and grabbing at his chest as he fell to the floor.
"Old man?!" Natsu said in shock.
"What wrong?!" The rest that were left in the guild yelled in unison.
"I need to get his medicine!" Mira yelled as she ran up the stairs.
"What's this Thunder Palace?" Bisca asked.
"It's a magic that surrounds the entire town and set to take out the town in an hour and 10 minutes..." Everyone snapped their heads to the front doors of the guild to see Lucy standing there with a smirk.
"Luce?" Natsu whispered in disbelief.
"LUCY!" Happy cried as he flew into her chest knocking her on her butt.
Lucy giggled as she hugged the blue fur ball. "I'm happy to see you too Happy..." Lucy said with a smile.
"Did Laxus let you go?" Levy asked.
"You could say that..." Lucy smirked then grinned. "He told me to go fight too... Problem there is he never said to fight for him... So I'm here to fight FOR Fairy Tail and to give you all a hand..." Lucy said with a smile.
"Are you sure he's going to allow that?" Cana asked glaring at Lucy.
Lucy giggled, "Doesn't matter if he allows it... He just said I had to fight... He never said who to fight for..." Lucy explained.
"You found a loop hole?" Levy looked at her with wide eyes.
"Yup..." Lucy said cheerfully. Lucy turned towards the count down seeing it at 7. Which with the girls awake it made sense. "I, Lucy Heartfilia, will fight for Fairy Tail!" Lucy declared causing the number to change from 7 to 8.
"Won't Laxus get mad?" Levy asked.
"I don't care... Let him get mad at me... He told me to go fight... So I will... I will fight to stop him..." Lucy said turning to look at all of them.
Before another word could be said Mira came running down the stairs. "Everyone Look outside!" Mira said pointing to the balcony. Everyone ran up to look and saw giant Lightning Lacrimas floating in the air.
"What is that?" Natsu asked.
"Are those lightning lacrimas?" Levy asked mainly to herself.
"So, are those things... Surrounding the whole town?" Cana asked.
"Each one looks overloaded with Lightning magic..." Levy pointed out.
"Does this mean this is the thunder palace?" Juvia asked. "Does it create a castle out of Lightning?" Juvia asked in wonder.
"In an hour it will release countless lightning strikes throughout the town..." Lucy said as she leaned back against the wall behind everyone with her arms crossed.
"How do you know this?" Cana glared at her.
"He's kept me imprisoned for over 3 weeks... He didn't hide his plans from me... Thinking I couldn't do anything about it..." Lucy said still looking up at the lacrimas.
"Well, I'll never let that happen! Requip: Sniper Rifle!" Bisca called out as a sniper rifle appeared in her hand.
"Wait! No!" Lucy called out but was too late as Bisca fired off a shot hitting the lacrima and shattering it.
"Nice shooting lady!" Cana praised.
"You did it!" Juvia said.
Before anymore cheering could be done, Bisca was stuck by a giant lightning bolt.
"Damn it! I told you don't!" Lucy said as she ran over to Bisca's side.
"What?" Cana asked.
"They have body link magic... You break it and the power that your attack had to destroy it gets thrown right back at you..." Lucy said through grit teeth.
The girls ran down the stairs towards the doors. "If things go as they are, the townspeople will be..." Juvia began as she followed behind Cana.
"The only thing to do is to take Laxus down... I'm going!" Cana yelled.
"I'll try to evacuate as many townspeople as I can!" Lucy said running a different way.
"There are still 2 member's of the Thunder Legion left! Be Careful!" Cana said.
"Lucy! Wait up!" Happy called to her causing her to stop. "I want to come with you..." Happy said with a look of determination on his face.
"Alright lets go!" Lucy smiled as happy flew next to her as she ran.
Cathedral
Laxus laughed like a mad man. "What do you think of that old man?! The next set of hostages is the entire town!" Laxus shouted with a crazed look on his face.
"I never thought you'd go this far..." Freed muttered.
"This far?" Laxus asked.
"It's going to far don't you think?" Freed asked in disbelief.
"Only I Decide my limits!" Laxus growled as he turned to look at him. "This is a fight to the end! It won't end until one of us is completely wiped out!" Laxus shouted completely outraged.
"The number went from 7 to 8?" Freed said out of no where as he watched the number change.
"What!?" Laxus said staring at the number. "But who else is there?" Laxus asked no one in particular.
'The thunder palace... You'd really go that far Laxus?' Freed thought internally.
"What're you standing there for Freed? You and Bickslow have to go out and finish up the Fairy hunting..." Laxus said turning his back to Freed. "But remember! I'm taking Erza out! Gramps is counting on her! Mystogan is mine too! Got it!" Laxus yelled. "You go take out Cana and that Phantom chick... I don't want either of them in MY Fairy Tail... Go head and Kill them..." Laxus said darkly.
"KILL THEM?! They're not enemies, they're guild mates!" Freed argued.
"ARE YOU DISOBEYING AN ORDER FROM ME?!" Laxus snapped.
Freed's shoulders dropped slightly, "I've come this far with you, I supposed there is no turning back now... I'll go along with you... Even if that leads me to Hell..." Freed said as he turned to leave. "I'll carry out my duty... But make sure you have no regrets if they do get killed..." Freed said leaving the cathedral.
Laxus smirked. "That's the way, Dark Freed... Now is the time if show them your true power..." Laxus chuckled darkly.
With Lucy And Happy
"Why can't we use the guild's public address system?" Happy asked walking along a railing.
"Laxus made a rule that only the master can use it in the events that he decides to hand over the title of Master to Laxus..." Lucy said as she walked along a path way looking over the town. "Anyway... We need to get the people evacuated and away from the Thunder Palace..." Lucy said looking over the townspeople below her.
"About that... I really think that's a bad idea..." Happy said looking over at the people.
"Why?" Lucy asked.
"Many of the people here are from out of town here for the festival... The streets are packed..." Happy replied. "It's dangerous to cause a panic... We could wind up with a lot of unnecessary injuries..." Happy continued.
Lucy sighed, "But if that's the case... Then what do we do?" Lucy asked.
'Yeah Lucy!' 'What do we do?' 3 familiar voices said from behind her.
"Lucy Watch out!" Happy cried out as he flew up behind her grabbing the back of her shirt and lifted her up out of the way of a blast that hit the spot she was just standing in. Happy flew up to a roof across from where Bickslow was standing on top of the toy shop.
"Bickslow..." Lucy growled as she glared at him.
"Oh... It's you... What are you doing here cosplayer?" Bickslow cackled.
"God I hate that name..." Lucy said with a sigh. "Looks like I'm your opponent..." Lucy said standing up.
"Laxus wouldn't make us fight you..." Bickslow said as he went to float away but hit a rune wall. "What?! No!" Bickslow said turning around to see a smug look on Lucy's face. "I can't fight you... Not when..." Bickslow whispered near the end.
"Then you lose! Open! Gate Of The Archer! Sagittarius!" Lucy chanted as what looked like a man in a house costume appeared.
"You called my lady?!" Sagittarius asked as he saluted.
"This one is new? I thought you'd call out that kinky maid of yours..." Bickslow said but quickly looked around making sure she wasn't going to pop up.
"Aw! How cute... You're afraid of her!" Lucy cooed teasingly.
"Shut up! I am not!" Bickslow retorted.
Lucy shrugged, "Sagittarius! Shoot down those annoying flying dolls!" Lucy called pointing up in the air.
"Of course my lady!" Sagittarius said as he aimed for the totems.
"You can't attack us with them remember?" Bickslow said.
"Oh.. That kind of went out the window when Laxus literally told me to go fight..." Lucy explained.
"He wouldn't! Not when... You didn't tell him yet did you?!" Bickslow yelled.
"Tell him what? I have no idea what you're talking about..." Lucy said. "You either fight or forfeit... The choice is yours..." Lucy said.
"He told you to go fight for our side..." Bickslow said.
"Nope... He just said to go fight... He never said for who... I made the choice to fight for Fairy Tail... Which makes the contract for me to keep my keys as long as I don't attack you with them void..." Lucy explained. "NOW! Shoot them down!" Lucy said as Sagittarius nodded and shot off arrows hitting the flying totems.
"You've forced my hand in this..." Bickslow said lowly. "Alright! But you haven't won yet!" Bickslow said pointing a finger at her.
Just then a blast came and went right through Sagittarius causing him to go back to his realm.
"No!" Lucy said her hand going to her keys just as a toy bear flew pass her stealing her keys from her. "No! My Keys!" Lucy cried out.
"You won't be able to call them out now... Sorry about this cosplayer... You left me no choice..." Bickslow said with a hardened voice.
"Damn it!" Lucy muttered as she protected her face from the flying toys that kept coming at her.
"Just know I do this with a heavy heart..." Bickslow said glaring at her. "Baryon Formation!" Bickslow chanted as the toys formed a circle with a glowing green ball in the middle as they spun around it. "FIRE" Bickslow said closing his eyes.
"NO DON'T!" Happy yelled as he saw the green beam of light shoot forward towards Lucy. He knew he wouldn't be able to make it in time to get her. All he could do was watch as it hit her.
Once the beam hit, smoke covered the area for a short time. But the voice they heard had Happy smiling with watery eyes.
"I wonder why it is that I have no problem opening my gate freely without a call from you... They say there's a wall between the celestial world and human world... But it just might be the force of Love between us that breaks down those walls..." A ginger haired male with blue tinted glasses in a suit appeared holding Lucy with a cocky look on his face.
"What kind of pick up line was that?" Lucy said with a small giggle.
"It was worth a shot..." The spirit said with a shrug of his shoulder.
"No way..." Bickslow muttered, "You're..." Bickslow shouted.
"It seems the moment to fulfill my vow has come..." The spirit said straightening his ring.
"LOKE?!" Bickslow shouted in disbelief. Lucy just smirked.
"You do know I told you not to show yourself yet..." Lucy said with a grateful smile.
"Couldn't let you get hurt anymore... Plus that silly little contract of yours with them is over now there is nothing holding me back..." Loke said with a glare set on Bickslow.
Cathedral
"WHAT?!" Laxus roared. "How can this be?! She's supposed to be fighting against Fairy Tail! Not The Thunder Legion! How did this happen!?" Laxus said as he punched the pillar next to him. He stared at the words that appeared in front of him and growled.
"Battle: Bickslow Vs. Lucy Heartfilia"
"No... No... No... This can't be..." Laxus whispered in a panic as he held his head.
Battle: Bickslow Vs. Lucy
"So It's you Loke? You turned out to be Celestial spirit after all... I've been wondering about that since you disappeared from the guild..." Bickslow cackled. "Good I rather fight you then her! But it's sad this is how you repay me for keeping your secret all this time..." Bickslow said with a smirk.
"So he knew huh?" Lucy asked as she cocked her hip out while resting her hand on the cocked out hip giving a look of cockiness.
"Bickslow can see souls inside a persons body..." Happy explained.
"I kind of knew that already..." Lucy muttered.
"So, You're here to join the battle of Fairy Tail too!?" Bickslow said throwing his arms out to the sides.
"Huh?" Loke said with a raised an eyebrow confusing Bickslow. "That part doesn't really interest me at all... It's what you were doing to my master... The fact that you were trying to hurt Lucy is what I can not forgive..." Loke said glaring at Bickslow threateningly.
"You know I hate being called master right..." Lucy mumbled. Loke just turned his head to face her giving her a grin that made her smile and shake her head.
"Forgive? Give me a break! There's no way you can beat me! Every time we tussled before I was pulling my punches... Let's go babies! Let's tease him for old times sake!" Bickslow said as his babies flew towards Loke and Lucy.
"Stay back Lucy..." Loke said put his arm out to block her.
"Like hell! What do you think you're saying?! I don't use my spirits as shields! You know that! We either fight together or you can go back!" Lucy said grabbing her whip off her belt and snapping it on the floor with the end of it.
Loke smiled and shook his head. "Fine... I'll find a way to deal with the puppets you get Bickslow himself when I clear the way!" Loke said as his hand started to glow.
"Okay! Let's go Happy!" Lucy said.
"Aye!" Happy said with a nod.
"O Regulus! Grant Me Your Power!" Loke chanted as a bright light surrounded the area. Loke charged punching at the toys as they came at them clearing the way for Lucy.
Once Lucy saw an opening she took it. "Now's my chance..." Lucy muttered. Lucy ran and jumped from the edge of the building being caught in mid air by happy. "Now! Take this and Learn from it!" Lucy said as she swung the whip at him causing him to jump back.
"Oh! You got me scared now your majesty!" Bickslow cackled in a mock bow.
"God you're insufferable..." Lucy muttered. "It's not like that!" Lucy snapped.
"Bickslow isn't all the powerful on his own! Hang in there!" Loke called over.
Bickslow glanced over to Loke, "What did you say Jerk!?" Bickslow asked through grit teeth. As he was turning his head back to look at Lucy. Lucy took the chance to smack him in the face with her whip snapping his face to other way knocking him to the floor.
"Damn it! Looks like I'm going have to use this..." Bickslow said taking off his visor. "Figure Eyes!" Bickslow said his eyes glowing.
"Don't looking into his eyes Lucy, Loke!" Happy yelled covering his eyes.
"Huh?!" Loke and Lucy asked at the same time.
"Every one of the Thunder Legion has a secondary magical attack done through their eyes... Ever though uses it as her main attack!" Happy explained.
"What?" Loke asked.
"If you look into Bickslow's eyes, you turns into a puppet... And can control your soul!" Happy continued to explain.
"That was close..." Lucy muttered.
"So all of your eyes are shut?" Bickslow asked with a wicked grin.
"You can't open your eyes either of you!" Happy yelled as he flew backward.
With their eyes closed Bickslow decided to use his puppets and attack Loke and Lucy giving strict orders to stay away from Lucy's stomach which Loke found odd.
"No Body Can beat my combination of Figure eyes and Seith Puppetry!" Bickslow cackled like a mad man.
"Lucy! Horologium is the answer! I'll go back through my gate for a moment and you can be protected inside Horologium!" Loke said while covering his face.
"Remember why you came out on your own? My Key's were stolen!" Lucy said while she backed up. She came back to back with Loke himself. "Besides... You know you have my trust! So do something about this!" Lucy shouted feeling the toys hitting her arms and legs.
Loke smiled, "Right... We have to do an all-or-nothing attack! So when I give the signal, open your eyes and charge him!" Loke said.
"But... If I open my eyes..." Lucy began before Loke cut her off.
"You said you trusted me right?" Loke asked a bit smug.
"All right!" Lucy smiled.
"Regulus! Power At Full!" Loke chanted as light surrounded him as it grew larger and brighter.
"Before you try any stupid tricks, I'll finish you off! Baryon Formation!" Bickslow said sending his babies at them.
"Lions Radiance!" Loke chanted as his regulus light covered the entire area blinding Bickslow causing him to close his eyes.
"What?!" Bickslow shouted covering his eyes. "Is this some blinding attack?!" Bickslow asked out loud to no one.
"NOW!" Loke yelled to Lucy.
Lucy opened her eyes and flung her whip out towards Bickslow wrapping it around his neck making it so he couldn't move. Bickslow grabbed onto the whip trying to undo it from his neck but was failing as Lucy would pull it tighter.
"LOKE!" Lucy yelled.
"YES!" Loke yelled back.
"There's no way you can beat me!" Bickslow yelled still fighting with the whip around his neck.
Loke pulled his fist back covering it in his Regulus light. "I was a different man back then! After I met Lucy I had my original celestial powers returned to me! No Even More! I've become much, much stronger since I met Lucy!" Loke yelled as he charged up his Regulus. It started to form into a giant lion's head. "We're nothing like those puppets of yours! Love makes a celestial spirit stronger!" Loke yelled as he lunged forward throwing his lion head shaped regulus towards Bickslow. "Regulus Impact!" Loke yelled as his attack flew forward hitting Bickslow head on effectively knocking Bickslow out.
"You did it!" Happy yelled as he jumped up and down happily.
"Thank you Loke..." Lucy said tiredly.
"Take a look at this Lucy!" Loke said holding his hand up as a sign that read 'I Love Lucy' made of light.
"You truly are insufferable..." Lucy said with a tired giggle. Lucy went to take a step but fell backwards. Before she hit the ground Happy caught her and slowly lowered her to the ground. "Wha... What? My Body doesn't..." Lucy said as her vision blurred.
"No wonder... You called on 2 golden keys in the same fight!" Happy halfheartedly scolded.
Lucy smiled and nodded. "Whenever you need me, I'll come to the rescue!" Loke said as he bent down holding out Lucy's keys to her.
Lucy tiredly reached for her keys. "Yeah... Thanks Loke..." Lucy said with a smile before Loke disappeared.
"Lucy... Are you alright?" Happy asked in a concerned voice.
Guild Hall
"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" Gajeel shouted in disbelief. "BUNNY WON!?" Gajeel asked as his jaw dropped.
"Yeah, Luce is tough as nails!" Natsu chuckled.
"It isn't possible is it!? I mean it's Bunny?! How?!" Gajeel still asked in disbelief.
"Way to go Lu! I'm doing my best here too!" Levy said out loud.
Cathedral
"WHAT?!" Laxus shouted.
"Bickslow Vs. Lucy Winner: Lucy" The writing that appeared had stated.
"Freed is the only one left... Don't you dare let me down Freed..." Laxus growled.
After some time the writing appeared again, "Freed Vs. MiraJane" Laxus smirked.
"This should prove to be interesting..." Laxus chuckled darkly.
Time ticked on, battles were won, battles were lost. The one's that remained were Laxus, Erza, Mystogan, Natsu, Gajeel and Lucy.
In Town
After some rest Lucy was up and running again with Happy flying by her side.
"I have to get to Laxus..." Lucy said.
"Why is Laxus so important?" Happy asked.
"It's long story Happy... But... I have to stop him..." Lucy said determination laced in her voice. "I can't let him do this..." Lucy added.
"Why do you even care?" Happy asked in curiosity.
"I can't explain it... I can feel him... He's furious..." Lucy said coming up to the front of the Cathedral. "Stay out here Happy..." Lucy said as she went from running to a walk.
"But Lucy..." Happy said.
"No Happy... I don't want to you get hurt... Go find one of the others... I'll be fine don't worry!" Lucy said with a huge grin before she broke back into a run pushing the Cathedral doors open and running to see Laxus staring at the writing that appeared.
"Freed Vs. MiraJane Both players forfeit"
Lucy felt his anger rising to dangerous levels. She watched the lightning lick over his body as he tried to contain his magic. Lucy steeled herself before walking forward.
"Didn't go like you were expecting?" Lucy said startling Laxus causing him to spin around to face her.
"You..." Laxus growled as Lucy got closer. Laxus' arm shot out so fast it wasn't able to be seen until it was too late. Laxus' wrapped his hand around Lucy's throat pinning her against a pillar. "You disobeyed me..." Laxus growled.
"No... I... didn't..." Lucy gasped out as she clawed at his hand.
"You fought against me!" Laxus said through grit teeth.
Lucy smirked as Laxus' grip loosened slightly. "No... You told me to go fight... You never said to fight for you..." Lucy said as she watched his facial features. She watched his face go from rage, to confusion, to disbelief and back to rage again.
"Why would you..." Laxus began but was shortly cut off by another presence that entered the Cathedral. Laxus looked back over his shoulder to the person that entered. "So you came..." Laxus said tightening his hand around Lucy's throat causing her to gasp and claw at his hand again.
"6 Minutes Till The Thunder Palace" Had appeared in the middle of the room. Lucy knew time was running out. She had to do something but she didn't know what. She took a glance around Laxus to see a man that was covered head to toe, his face not being able to be seen.
"Mystogan..." Laxus said as a smirk began to appear on his face once more. "I never for a minute thought that you'd take part in this game..." Laxus continued.
"Let the girl go..." Mystogan said in a demanding tone.
"No!" Laxus growled removing his hand from Lucy's throat to grab her arm to pull her close. He was becoming possessive again not allowing Lucy out of his sight. "You can't take her..." Laxus growled low.
Mystogan went to speak but Lucy spoke before he could. "I'm not going anywhere Laxus..." Lucy said in a reassuring voice.
Laxus visibly relaxed knowing Lucy wasn't going anywhere. "Why do you wish to stay Lucy Heartfilia?" Mystogan asked.
"I don't have much choice... But I'll be fine..." Lucy said before being silenced by Laxus with his growl.
"Very well..." Mystogan said before returning his gaze to Laxus. "Take down the Thunder Palace immediately... It is still possible to smooth things over as being part of the entertainment..." Mystogan said in calm reasoning voice.
Lucy took this moment to back up behind Laxus to stay out of the way.
"Don't be an idiot..." Laxus said.
"You already know who's rumored to be the Strongest in Fairy Tail right?" Mystogan asked.
"Everyone says it's you or me..." Laxus said.
"I don't really care... If I did, I'd say it's Guildarts..." Mystogan said in bored tone.
Laxus chuckled darkly, "Not a chance! He's never coming back! And Erza's a No-Go too... She's on her way, but now she's too weak..." Laxus said smugly.
"Erza? Weak? You got a strange set of blinders over your eyes..." Mystogan said as he shook his head.
"But I admit to your strength Mystogan! There are only 2 who can take the seat of the Strongest in Fairy Tail... You or me..." Laxus mused.
"Is that all you can see? Now who's the idiot?" Mystogan muttered.
"Settle it for all to see... With the seat of the strongest on the line... Mystogan... Or should I say the other..." Laxus began to say until Mystogan charged forward with a strong blast of magic that caused a huge explosion that wrecked most of the cathedral, although it stayed fully standing.
Once the smoke cleared both Laxus and Mystogan were still standing. "Where did you hear that?" Mystogan asked.
Laxus shrugged, "Who knows? How about I tell you if you win?" Laxus asked.
Both mages were too busy to notice when Lucy snuck out of the cathedral and ran towards town.
"You're going to regret this Laxus... Now you're going to see magic that you never knew existed..." Mystogan said as he held up one of his staffs.
"Come on! I'll show you that you're out of your league!" Laxus challenged.
In Town
Lucy ran down the cobble stone streets after getting out of the cathedral. She had to find a way to take down the thunder palace before it destroyed the entire town. Erza and Natsu tried calling to her as she ran passed them but she didn't hear them since her ears were still ringing from the attack in the cathedral.
Once the ringing began dying down she finally was able to focus. But she didn't know how she got to the spot she did. She saw Bickslow sitting there looking defeated. To say she felt sorry for him would be a lie. In her eyes he deserved to feel like he did. After all he was stupid enough to attack those who he called guild mates and friends. But given Lucy's nature she couldn't exactly blame him completely.
"Lucy! There you are!" Lucy heard Happy say as she turned around at the sound of her name to see the blue fur ball coming right at her.
"Happy!" Lucy said with a smile as she caught him almost losing her balance.
Bickslow looked over when he heard voices and saw Lucy with the flying cat. "What are you doing here Cosplayer?" Bickslow said his voice a bit raspy.
Lucy sent a glare to him, "You know if it wasn't for the fact I just kicked your ass I'd retaliate..." Lucy said in a monotone voice.
Bickslow let out a sad chuckle. "Good point... But I ask again, what are you doing here?" Bickslow asked again.
"I need to stop the Thunder Palace before the entire town is destroyed..." Lucy said letting happy go as he floated in front of her.
"You know it's got that body link magic on it right?" Bickslow asked and Lucy nodded. Bickslow didn't like the how that sounded. He may be an asshole but even he had a heart when it came to certain things. "You can't! Not in your condition..." Bickslow said as he tried to jump up but landed back on the ground on his stomach.
"Condition?" Happy asked studying Lucy not seeing anything wrong with her.
"Mind your own business..." Lucy snapped. "I don't care if anything happens to me as long as nothing happens to everyone in town... They're non-mages! They won't be able to survive like the rest of us could..." Lucy said walking away. "Happy..." Lucy called.
"Aye!" Happy said coming up and grabbing the back of her shirt lifting her up taking her up to the roof of a tall building.
"Laxus deserves to know!" Bickslow yelled not sure if she could hear him.
Lucy however did hear him but chose to ignore him in favor of trying to stop the thunder palace. Once they landed on a roof Lucy looked and saw there were hundreds of the lightning lacrima circling the town.
"I don't even know if I can take that many down... If I fail..." Lucy began before getting cut off.
"Hey Everyone!? Can you hear me?" A males voice asked causing Lucy to blink and look around trying to pin point the where the voice was coming from.
"It's Warren!" Happy said excitedly.
"This is an emergency! Look up at the sky!" Warren continued. "Everyone who's down, Get up now! Anyone still battling break it up! At least for now! Everyone of you! Listen to me!" Warren said.
Lucy heard more voices in her head that belonged to other members of the guild. Once Warren explained about the lightning lacrima and everyone told them about the girls being okay everyone began yelling at each other due to the battles. Lucy listened to everyone and what they were saying but it was giving her a headache. So she finally had enough and snapped at all of them putting them all in their place causing all of them to cool their jets and focus on the problem at hand.
Once the lacrima were destroyed the lightning of course struck all of those who attacked it. Lucy for some reason wasn't hurt by it. She thought maybe it was because of the mark until she looked in front of her. There towering over her was Bickslow right in the line of the attack.
"Bickslow?!" Lucy stated shocked to see him.
"Heh... Couldn't let them get hurt..." Bickslow said in between coughs before he fell to his knees. As Bickslow fell Lucy grabbed his shoulders to help ease him down.
"You idiot..." Lucy said with a sad giggle. It then registered in her mind what he said. "Wait... Them?!" Lucy asked in shock.
What a cliff hanger...
