"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris recapped, "The challenge was to see who would stay awake the longest after a morning run and buffet, and the Screaming Gophers kicked ass. This gave the Killer Bass their first loss. Heather stole Eva'a MP3 player and framed Sadie, which caused her to get eliminated leaving Katie a sobbing mess. Nicely played Heather. Gwen and Trent grew closer as well. Will Heather's alliance survive? Will Gwen be able to stay awake for the entire episode? And who will be the next to be eliminated? The episode opens to the mess hall where both teams are eating, still showing signs of tiredness from the last episode except for Katie who only had dried up tears on her face. Chris soon came in, not tired at all and with a grin on his face.
"Duncan. You look like crap dude," Chris said smiling. Duncan just grunted and threw his head on the table.
"Harold snored all night while Katie cried all night," Courtney added.
"Wow, four nights with no sleep. How much are you hurting dude?" Chris asked Duncan.
"Wanna find out?" Duncan responded threateningly.
"No, no, its cool dude," Chris said as he threw his arms up. Harold entered the mess hall and both teams gasped. In Harold's imagination, as he walked to his table, all of the campers looked at him in amazement. In reality, everybody tried to hide their laughs because somebody drew a mustache on his face. When he sat down, he was met with giggling from his teammates.
"Okay, what?" he asked.
"Someone messed with your face, dude," Geoff told Harold. He got a spoon and looked at himself and saw his mustache.
"Hey, sweet stache" he said.
"Hey everybody, its Gwen!" Chris announced as an exhausted Gwen walked into the mess hall. The Gophers(minus Heather) cheered when she arrived. While everyone ate, Heather talked to Lindsay and Beth about their alliance.
"So lets go over the alliance rules one more time. Number one: I am the captain of this alliance, so I get to make the rules. Number two..." Heather waited for one of them to respond.
"Breaking the rules can result in getting kicked out of the alliance?" Lindsay answered.
"Good. Number three: I can borrow any of your stuff without asking, but my stuff is strictly off-limits. If you don't agree, I'll just kick you out of the alliance." Beth and Lindsay slowly nodded their heads. "And the last rule is no dating people on the other team," Heather finished. Beth and Lindsay appeared fine with this, but Lindsay actually wanted to date Tyler.
"Okay campers, listen up. Your next challenge begins in 10 minutes and be prepared to bring it!" Chris announced. The campers started to get ready for their next challenge. They all gathered in a clear, glass box with bleachers on one side and a court in the middle. Katie still looked sad about Sadie's elimination, while Duncan laid down on his side's bleachers.
"Anybody wakes me up, they're dead," he said, scaring most of his team.
"Harold, you need to quit your damn snoring!" Eva yelled at Harold, scaring him.

Eva: Last time, my temper almost got me kicked off so I need to learn to control it. But, Harold deserved to get yelled out.
Harold: Duncan and Eva, the two strongest players on our team don't like me at the moment. I'm screwed.

Soon, an annoyed Chef came in dressed like a referee with a smiling Chris. "Campers! Today's challenge is the classic game of dodgeball. If you get hit with the ball, you're out. If you catch the ball, the thrower gets sent out and the catcher gets to bring in another team member out on the court."
"Throwing balls, gee, another mentally challenging test," Noah sarcastically replied. Owen snickered in agreement with him.
"I know right," Lindsay replied, making Owen and Noah glance at each other.
"If you're holding a ball, you can use it to deflect a ball. But, if it knocks the ball out of your hands, you're out," Chris added.
"So what do I do again?" Lindsay asked.
"You dodge!" Chris yelled as Geoff threw a ball at him, which he deflected with another ball, causing it to hit Lindsay in the face.
"Oww," Lindsay replied as she got back up. On her forehead was a huge bruise.
"Since both teams have ten players, five players go on the court at a time for each team." Following those words, the teams decided who would be going in first. For the Gophers, it was Cody, Leshawna, Heather, Owen, and Beth. For the Bass, it was Eva, DJ, Tyler, Geoff, and Harold. When Cody threw a ball at Tyler, he dodged and got ready to throw one back. Instead, he hit Katie who was on the sidelines.
"Nice job. Next time try to hit somebody on THEIR TEAM!" Eva yelled at Tyler. Owen came running at Tyler with a ball and destroyed him completely. The Gophers cheered for Owen. Harold started to do karate moves near the middle, getting ready to take Leshawna out. Instead though, when he threw the ball, it landed right at Leshawna's feet. Harold started to run and scream like a girl until he was hit out by Leshawna.
Eva ended up taking out Owen and Beth, while Geoff took out Leshawna and Cody took out Geoff. Eva then bombed a ball at Heather, leaving Cody against a smiling Eva and DJ. What they didn't know was that Cody was actually really good at dodgeball. He threw the ball at a good enough angle where DJ managed to dodge it, but it came back and hit him from behind. But, Eva was too fast for Cody so while he threw DJ out, Eva managed to throw a ball at him and get him out. This gave the Killer Bass the first win out of five, causing the Bass to cheer.

Eva: Thank God we got a physical challenge. We don't need Duncan and I get to take my anger out on those Gophers.
Heather: I probabaly should've stuck with my original plan to eliminate Eva instead of Sadie.
[CONFESSIONAL ENDS]
"Alright who is going out this time?" Eva asked her team.
"I think you, me, Bridgette, Geoff, and DJ should go in," Courtney responded. This shocked Tyler.
"No! Why can't I go in? I can dominate this game! Just give all of the balls to me," Tyler replied. Eva rolled her eyes at this but still let him go in instead of Geoff.
"Fine, but if you mess up, you're gone," Eva said. With the Screaming Gophers, Heather was yelling at her team.
"Ugh, you guys are so useless. Owen, Trent, Leshawna, Lindsay, and Justin are going in this time." Most of the people called agreed with this, but Justin silently shook his head no.
"What? Why the hell not?" Heather asked him angrily. He just silently pointed to his face, as if he didn't want to risk messing it up. Heather almost exploded, but Cody stepped in and said that he would go in.
On the court, the Gophers were confused as Tyler held all of the balls. Tyler soon started to spin and threw the four balls he held. The first went to Chef, who jumped out of his chair for safety. The next went to Chris who narrowly dodged it.
"Hey! Watch the face, dude!" Chris yelled. The next ball went to the Screaming Gophers bench, who all dodged it and the last one hit Lindsay, giving her another bruise on her face.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Tyler yelled, realizing he hit the one person he didn't want to hit.
"Finally," Eva said, relieved that Tyler finally hit somebody. However, Tyler ran straight to Lindsay, checking to see if she was okay.
"Umm, Tyler?" Lindsay asked as he picked her up from the ground. "Oh my god my face! Does my face look okay?"
"Its not that bad, really. You still look great," he replied, though his reaction showed different. Trent walked over soon and threw a ball at Tyler, who didn't even try to dodge it. Eva clenched her fists in anger while Courtney just facepalmed. Tyler and Lindsay then walked off the court, outside of the box, much to Heather's anger.

Eva: If we lose, that idiot jock is going home.

"What are you doing? Hello!" Heather yelled at Lindsay as she walked off the court but Lindsay just ignored her.
"THAT IS IS!" Owen angrily screamed. "GAME ON!"
"LETS DO THIS BIG BOY!" Eva yelled back, getting ready to throw several balls at the Gophers. Eva threw out Trent with one ball while Owen threw out DJ. Owen then hit Bridgette and Courtney while Eva hit Cody and Leshawna. This left Owen and Eva with one ball each. The people on the sidelines, Chris, and Chef were all watching in awe. Eva threw her ball first. Since Owen couldn't dodge it, he used his ball to block it but the force of Eva's ball knocked it out of his hands, eliminating him. This caused the Bass to cheer even louder than the first time.
"Eva that was awesome, eh," Ezekiel said to her.
"It was nothing. I've had enough of these Gophers. Lets go out their and win one more time," she responded. With the Gophers, they were either hurt or upset.
"Great, now we're definitely going to lose," said Gwen. "And where are Heather and Lindsay? And Noah, why don't you go in?"
"Nah, I'm good sitting out. You guys got this. Go team, go," he sarcastically cheered.
"Whatever. I'll go in with Trent, Leshawna, Owen, and Cody," Gwen replied. Meanwhile, the Bass were going to let Eva rest and send in Geoff, DJ, Harold, Bridgette, and Courtney. On the court, Leshawna hit Harold, Geoff hit Gwen, and Owen caught Bridgette's ball, bringing Beth in. DJ hit Cody while Geoff hit Beth. Trent caught Courtney's ball, bringing a reluctant Noah in, who immediately got hit by DJ. DJ and Geoff both threw their balls at Leshawna. She was able to dodge the first but was hit by the second. Owen then hit Geoff out while Trent caught DJ's ball, giving the Screaming Gophers their first win.
"DAMN IT!" Eva screamed at her team. She was angry that their team lost a round.
"Its okay Eva, eh. We're still winning by two," Ezekiel told her. This calmed her down a little bit. Meanwhile, Heather was walking outside, looking for Lindsay and Tyler. She soon heard giggling and found them cuddling underneath the docks, angering her even more.
"What the hell is going on here?!" she angrily asked them.
"I'm sorry Heather. I'll never break the alliance rules again," Lindsay pleaded, looking at Heather in fear.
"Hey, why don't you just like, chill out," Tyler asked Heather, which just made her angrier. She picked up a canoe and prepared to toss it at Tyler.
"Why don't you dodge this?" Heather said as she threw the canoe at Tyler.
"OWW!" Tyler yelled as he was now inside the canoe from the bottom.
"Lets go Lindsay. NOW," Heather exclaimed angrily as she brought Lindsay back to the court. When they came back, Gwen confronted them.
"Where the hell were you two?" she asked them.
"None of your business. How are we doing?" Heather asked back.
"We're down 2-1." The next round, Leshawna, Heather, Owen, Lindsay, and Trent against Ezekiel, Eva, Geoff, DJ, and Courtney. Trent hit Ezekiel while Courtney hit Lindsay. Eva hit Heather, Owen hit Courtney, and DJ and Geoff hit Leshawna. Trent then got Geoff out, and when Eva threw a ball at Owen, he caught, bringing Cody in.
"AGHHH!" Eva yelled. Nobody dared to go near her with how angry she was. Owen ended up hitting DJ, making the score 2-2.
"Okay since we're in the final round, we need to send in our strongest players," said Heather. "That means Owen, Trent, Leshawna, Cody, and me." With the Bass, they were also preparing for the final round. They had the same idea of bringing in their strongest players, which were Eva, Geoff, DJ, Courtney, and Bridgette. This made Harold angry, since he has been sitting out since the beginning.
"Hey, I should get a chance to go in," Harold complained.
"No way in hell! You can't even throw a ball!" Eva responded.
"Look Eva. Harold might be a nerd but he has only played one game," Geoff told Eva, trying to convince her that Harold could play in the final round.
"FINE. But if we lose because of you, you're going down," Eva said, making Harold gulp. On the court was Eva, Harold, Bridgette, Courtney, and DJ against Owen, Leshawna, Heather, Cody, and Trent. Once the round started, balls were flying everywhere. Cody was the first to fall, getting hit by Eva. Owen hit Bridgette while Trent hit Courtney. DJ was able to hit Heather while Eva threw a ball at Owen, but it was caught, bringing Beth in. Trent threw a ball at DJ but it was caught so Geoff was brought in. DJ and Leshawna got each other out Geoff hit Beth but Owen hit Geoff, leaving just Harold and Owen. The Gophers cheered while the Bass just groaned.
"Sorry dude, but you gotta go down," Owen told Harold. He picked up several balls and got ready to throw them while Harold got ready to dodge by doing karate moves. When Owen throws them, Harold surprises everybody by dodging them all amazingly, which shocked both teams. It even shocked Noah who dropped his book.
"Time out, time out!" Courtney called to Chef who agreed and was equally shocked.
"Harold, that was awesome dude!" Geoff cheered. "You actually did good!"
"Yeah, how'd you do that?" asked Tyler.
"I took figure skating classes."
"That's good, but dodging isn't enough. You have to either throw it or catch it. And since we know you can't throw it, you're gonna have to catch it," Eva added. Soon, the whistle blew and Harold and Owen came back on the court. Both teams were cheering for their player.
"COWABUNGAAAA!" Owen yelled as he threw a ball with all his force at Harold. The force of the ball pushed Harold all the way to the walls of the glass box. He slid down the wall and all of the Bass gasped, fearing the worst. However, Harold lifted his hand with the caught ball in it and all of the Bass cheered for him and they carried him in the air. Owen fell to the ground in defeat.
"Its impossible! WHYY!?" Owen wailed.
"Gophers, what happened?" Chris asked them.
"What can I say? Weak effort," Noah told him. This pissed off all of the Gophers and they all left the dodgeball court.
[CONFESSIONAL]
Harold: I guess I'm kind of a role model now that I won the dodgeball competition. Everybody will probably want my autograph when the show is over and stuff.
Heather: As much as I'd love to eliminate Noah, I might need his vote later on. I just needed to convince two more people to vote for someone else and it wasn't that hard.
[CONFESSIONAL ENDS]
"Okay Gophers, as you know, these marshmallows represent life. There are ten of you and only nine of these. You have all placed your votes and made your decision. One of you will be going home and you can't come back. EVER. When you hear me say your name, come get your marshmallow."

Justin looked at the last marshmallow worriedly while Noah kept his straight face as usual. "And the final marshmallow of the night goes to..."

"Noah!" Justin and a few other campers were surprised. "Sorry dude," Chris said to him. Justin nodded and silently walked down the dock and got into the Boat of Losers as the episode faded out and ended.
