The Inspector - An Inspector Calls Fanfiction

I have had multiple dreams/nightmares about the characters from Inspector calls being on The Apprentice. I took no notice of this at first, but gradually the dreams became more frequent and vivid, until I was lucid dreaming in the boardroom, watching this story play out. To me these characters might as well be real, and I hope if I share this story this will lay them to rest. Ty :)

4. Act 4

Act 4: Ra's bedroom

Stage directions: Ra sits on a rocking chair at the end of time, alone, holding a hammer and chisel carving a new sun, a new earth, a new solar system for this broken world.

Ra: And at the end of time, some laughed, some cried, I would've used my powers to keep everyone in the boardroom alive but what is a world to those mortal humans if they are the only ones on it? That's a fate worse than death, but it is fine people make mistakes and I can just make a new clean slate for humanity, they didn't know that I had a special plan for this world

Stage directions: Ra places the sun in the centre of his new universe

Ra: There we go, finished! I think I'll probably give this universe to Zeus, I'm tired of being born and dying everyday, I think I will settle down, grow old and die dead forever.

Stage directions: Inspector bursts in

Inspector: Ra, I need you to help me find the golden pussy! Quick, to the boardroom I've got the Birlings, The Leviathan, Crackbeard and The Elephant Man. It's gonna be a right laugh!
