Okay yes I decided to update this story next...
It's been quite a while for this story and I'm sorry about that...
I was planning on ending this story with this chapter originally but I decided maybe another chapter or 2 wouldn't hurt...
It's a short chapter but I couldn't get too far into the story in this chapter only because me being me couldn't have a cliff hanger if I did xD
Not mention I kept getting asked about what happened to Cana...

Both blondes pulled apart from each other. Lucy blushed while Laxus fought back a chuckle. Laxus smiled cupping her cheek with his hand. They were so lost in their own world that they didn't notice that the group was gathered around them until they heard a throat being cleared.
"Well it's good to know that you both still haven't lost your chemistry..." Freed commented offhandedly.
"You both were amazing as always!" Mira gushed excitedly.
"Did you really doubt them?" Levy asked with a smile.
"I would never have doubted Laxus nor would I ever doubt Lucy... Everyone in the music industry has been trying to get those 2 to sign contracts with them since they first appeared on the radar..." Freed said with a sigh.
"Why would we want to go anywhere else when they only wanted one of us or just us without the others? There was no way I was willing to walk away from them no matter how much they annoy me..." Lucy said pointedly looking Gajeel who just glare back at her.
"What she said..." Laxus said sitting down in a chair. He grabbed Lucy by her waist and pulled her into his lap which she just complied with without a fight.
Gajeel looked at them and saw that it was like nothing had changed. They were acting like they used to before the break up. It almost made him smile. Almost. He wasn't about to get soft now.
Lucy just leaned back against Laxus and snuggled into him like it was the most normal thing on Earth. Laxus wrapped his arms around Lucy's waist while he rested his chin on her shoulder. He did notice however the 2 newer band mates were glaring at him. Which he figured he knew why. They were hoping that they could have a chance with Lucy. He absentmindedly tightened his arms as he narrowed his eyes at them. He was ready to say something when Gajeel spoke up.
"Sorry boys... Bunny's not for you to mess with... And I suggest you back off before you find yourselves looking for a new job..." Gajeel said standing up wrapping an arm around Levy's shoulders, who was standing next to him.
Levy and the other 2 girls nodded. Lucy shrunk back with a blush dusting her cheeks.
"I'm afraid so... We will not have a repeat of last time... Lucy and Laxus are both off limits to anyone here..." Freed said with a hardened voice.
"We get it... But what do you mean last time?" Sting asked curiously.
Both blondes looked away hating the memory of it. This didn't go unnoticed by the 2 newer band mates who raised questioning eyebrows.
"Laxus, Lucy, could you guys go get something for Lunch?" Mira asked with a smile.
Both blondes nodded as they got up and walked out of the room hand in hand. They were more then happy to leave if they were going to talk about that. Neither one of them wanted to remember that day.
"Thanks for bringing up the past Freed..." Gajeel grumbled once the blondes left the room.
"I'm sorry but I will not allow anyone to ruin their relationship again, they've gone through so much already I will not allow it to happen again..." Freed said as he adjusted the cuffs of his jacket.
"I just hope this works..." Mira said looking at the doors.
"It will... Lu's been depressed since he was no longer around... You could see it in her eyes that she missed him dearly..." Levy said.
"She hasn't really been in the mood to even rehearse lately either... We couldn't get her to sing to save our lives..." Lisanna added.
"Maybe she just didn't want to be in the music industry anymore..." Natsu said with a shrug of his shoulders.
Lisanna snorted, "You obviously don't know Luce at all... Music was her life... But before music it was Laxus... All of us knew that... She was always the happiest when she was with him..." Lisanna said.
"I just find it hard to believe that Laxus actually settled down with someone... It's just not his style..." Sting said crossing his arms over his chest. "He's always said that women were a waste of time and they were only good for one thing..." Sting added.
"Yeah that was years ago though... He's changed since he met Bunny..." Gajeel said getting annoyed.
"I still don't believe it... I mean it's Laxus, come on be serious... He swore he would never let himself get tied down... He tells that to every girl that tries to come back for seconds..." Natsu chuckled with a shake of his head.
"Believe it... They've been together since her freshman year..." Levy practically growled.
"You saw it with your own eyes just now... Tell us we're lying some more..." Lisanna said twirling a drumstick in her hand and throwing it in the air just to catch it and twirl it again. She did this over and over.
"Doesn't prove anything... He'll do just about anything just to get into a woman's pants and you all know that... Like with that one chick... Can't remember her name she had brown hair, huge rack..." Sting said.
"Oh yeah! Didn't she always try to get away with wearing a bikini top to school everyday?" Natsu asked.
"Yeah! The teachers always told her to put a shirt or jacket on..." Sting chuckled.
Everyone other then Sting and Natsu looked at each other and then looked back at the other 2 males.
"God she was hot as hell too... Cara or something..." Natsu said shrugging his shoulders.
"Yeah Laxus pretended to be interested in a band she liked and took her to a concert just to fuck her that night... The next day when she went to go up to him he was already with his next target... Some blonde chick... One hell of an attitude from what I heard... She didn't let him have what he wanted so from what I heard he moved of to the next... But that year we got transferred out to a different school..." Sting explained.
Gajeel smirked, "Yeah Bunny had one hell of an attitude back then... She put him in his place good too..." Gajeel chuckled.
"Lu was the first female to ever turn him down... And multiple times too..." Levy said while in thought.
"Who are you kidding... She still has one hell of an attitude and could still put him in his place if she wanted to..." Lisanna snorted.
"True..." Gajeel said with shrug of her shoulders.
"So, wait... You're telling me that that girl is the same one from school?" Sting asked in disbelief.
"Yup..." Yukino said as she read a magazine. She decided to stay quiet for a while and let the 2 stupid males dig their own graves for a while.
"What?! No way!" Natsu all but shouted.
"Yes way... Luce and Laxus have been together for years up until..." Lisanna began but trailed off.
"Until when? Cause if she's single then we don't have to worry about Laxus..." Sting said with a grin.
"Don't even think about it!" Gajeel growled.
Mira sighed knowing she made the right choice to send the 2 blondes to get lunch. Even if it wasn't that close to lunch time.
"Look..." Mira began gaining everyone's attention. "If you can't respect what we ask, you can find somewhere else to go... Lucy is not one to be messed with... I will not permit you or anyone else to try and break them up again..." Mira said glaring at the 2 newer band members.
"Alright we get it... Geez..." Sting grumbled.
"Yeah really... We can't help that we're not used to seeing Laxus like that..." Natsu stated while glaring at Lisanna who was still sitting at his drum set twirling his drum sticks. He wanted to growl and snatch them from her but he didn't want to look like a complete dick. "How come you're not upset that you didn't get to play the song?" Natsu asked looking at Yukino.
Yukino shrugged her shoulders. "I trust their judgment... If they think Blondie over there would play it better then so be it..." Yukino answered turning to the next page of her magazine.
"How can anyone be that easy going?" Natsu muttered.
"She's always been like that... Say Yuki..." Lisanna teased.
"I wouldn't say that... But I prefer not to get into meaningless arguments... I'm not hot headed like other people..." Yukino said looking pointedly at Natsu.
"What's that supposed to mean? I'm not hot headed?!" Natsu snapped with a growl.
"My point proven..." Yukino said waving her hand dismissively towards Natsu.
"What?!" Natsu shrieked.
"I have to agree with Yuki on this one... You're still having a hissy fit about me just being near your drums... Which I must say you must not care about them at all if you don't keep them clean..." Lisanna said dragging a finger over one of the symbols proving her point when she showed all the dirt and dust that came off on her finger.
"That doesn't prove I don't care!" Natsu shouted getting in Lisanna's face.
Lisanna however looked unfazed. "You're even worst of a crybaby then our brother..." Lisanna said boredly.
Mira giggled behind her hand. "She has a point Natsu..." Mira said.
Natsu was getting pissed that everyone seemed to be ganging up on him. "None of you know me!" Natsu huffed.
"Wrong... Me and Gajeel do..." Sting pointed out. "And they have a point..." Sting added.
"Hey! Who's side are you on?" Natsu pouted.
"Alright alright enough of the bickering..." Freed said rubbing his temples. "We are just trying to make it clear to you that Laxus and Lucy are off limits..." Freed added.
"Yeah yeah..." Natsu grumbled.
"We get it..." Sting said waving his hand dismissively.
"Good..." Mira chirped.
With Laxus & Lucy
Lucy sighed as they exited the elevator.
"What's wrong?" Laxus asked as he walked along side her.
"I'm just wondering if this was a good idea... I mean I don't want a repeat of what happened before... I don't think I could handle that..." Lucy said leaning into Laxus as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"I know what you mean... Sting and Natsu haven't been around in a long time... They got transferred out right after you got transferred in..." Laxus explained. "They weren't there to see how things changed..." Laxus added.
"Yeah... I suppose you're right..." Lucy said with another sigh.
"How about we make them wait awhile since they want to act like idiots?" Laxus asked with a smirk on his face.
"What are you thinking?" Lucy asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Let's play hooky for awhile..." Laxus said in her ear.
Lucy shivered as his breath ghosted over her ear. She wasn't surprised that he still affected her like he used to. But she also thought that it wasn't a good thing right now.
"What exactly did you have in mind?" Lucy asked not willing to look at his face. She knew the look he had on his face and she couldn't risk making eye contact yet, not while they were out in the open like they were.
"We could always go back to my place or yours... Let them hang for awhile... Order some pizza? Or Chinese? I know how much you love Chinese..." Laxus practically purred in her ear.
"Ch-Ch-Chinese sounds g-g-good..." Lucy stammered out.
Laxus smirked. It made him glad to see that she still reacted to him the same way she used to. He found it easy to tease her before but he only ever did it when they were alone due to Gajeel and Bickslow making a big deal out of it. Their comments got annoying at times.
"Aren't we supposed to get lunch for the group though?" Lucy asked still not looking at him.
Laxus shrugged, "They're being idiots... Let them get their own lunch..." Laxus said tightening his grip on her.
Lucy giggled, "Yeah well... What about Lev and Gaj?" Lucy asked.
"We can get them food maybe Lis and Yuki..." Laxus said with a chuckle.
"Lis and Yuki would like that..." Lucy mused.
"Wait till Sting and Natsu find out that they're not into them..." Laxus chuckled.
"What? You think that they like them? Natsu has been freaking out since we got there cause Lis has been playing his drums..." Lucy giggled.
"I know the look that they had on their faces... But I wouldn't encourage them though... They're like I was back before I met you..." Laxus said as they reached his car.
"I see... Too bad Lis and Yuki are both taken..." Lucy said with a giggle.
"They are going to be so bummed... Not that I care... I regret letting them join... They've been on my ass to go out and I just haven't been in the mood to go out... Not to mention to the places they like to go..." Laxus explained.
"Oh... I see..." Lucy said leaning back against his car. "So... Are we going to ditch them for the time being or actually go get them lunch?" Lucy asked amused.
Laxus caged her in between his arms and leaned over her. "I say we ditch them for a bit..." Laxus said his nose almost touching hers.
Lucy gulped at how close he was. She nodded, "Yeah I think that would be a good idea..." Lucy whispered still refusing to look him in his eyes. She knew once she did she'd be done and unable to resist him.
Laxus smirked, "Alright, let's get going then..." Laxus said moving away slightly.
Lucy nodded as they walked to their respected sides of the car and got in.
Neither one of them noticed the 2 sets of eyes that were watching them. 1 set of eyes were gleaming with happiness and the other set was glaring angrily at the scene.
Mira squealed in happiness before she caught sight of the set off angry looking eyes. Mira gasped as she ran over to the owner of the angry eyes and grabbing their arm.
"Don't you even think about! You've done enough damage!" Mira yelled dragging them into the elevator.
Back Upstairs With The Band
"I wonder what's taking them so long..." Natsu grumbled.
"Knowing them... They probably ditched us for a while..." Gajeel said with a smirk as he had the same idea as he looked Levy up and down.
"No way would Laxus do that!" Sting said in disbelief.
"You don't know Laxus very well then..." Levy giggled. "They used to to do this all the time... Actually I surprised they were a little early getting here today normally they're at least 2 hours late..." Levy mused with a giggle.
"I can't believe how much he's changed! Like he's not the same person he was in high school..." Sting pouted.
Natsu looked at Lisanna as she stood behind Yukino looking over her shoulder at the magazine Yukino was looking at. Something with them seemed off. But he couldn't put his finger on it.
"He's not the same person anymore... Bunny's changed him and for the better I believe..." Gajeel said poking Levy's shoulder to amuse himself.
"Stop it!" Levy growled swatting at his hand. This just caused Gajeel to chuckle.
"So what do we do then? If they ditched us there's no reason for us to be here..." Natsu said still glaring at Lisanna.
"They'll be back in a few hours... They always come back..." Freed said looking around the studio for Mira. "Where's Mira?" Freed asked.
"I think she went to go look for Laxus and Lucy..." Lisanna answered still looking over Yukino's shoulder.
"I should have known..." Freed said with a sigh.
"What do you mean?" Natsu asked.
Lisanna giggled, "He means that my sister is trying to catch Laxus and Lucy in the act of making up with each other..." Lisanna explained.
"Making up for what?" Natsu asked.
"That is not for any of us to say..." Yukino said elbowing Lisanna in her side.
"Ow... I wasn't going to tell him... Geez..." Lisanna grumbled.
"Yeah sure you weren't..." Yukino said.
Natsu and Sting looked at the 2 white haired girls in confusion. They were confused as to what everyone was even talking about.
Just as Natsu and Sting were about to ask the 2 girls a question about it, the doors to the studio flew open and a very pissed off Mira came stomping through the door.
"Oh no..." Lisanna squeaked as she hid behind Yukino.
"Mira dear, what's wrong?" Freed asked as he saw her pull a familiar brown haired female inside by her arm. The brown haired female was struggling against Mira's grip but was failing to get free from her.
"She was outside just watching Laxus and Lucy!" Mira fumed as she tossed the female onto the floor.
Freed sighed, "Cana what are you doing here?" Freed asked in a hardened tone.
"Nothing! I was on my break! I work across the street at the coffee shop!" Cana snapped pushing herself off the floor.
"Bullshit! I was there earlier and I didn't see you in there... And I know everyone that works there... And you are not one of them..." Lisanna said crossing her arms over her chest.
Cana grit her teeth, "I don't care if you don't believe me! I wasn't doing anything wrong! You have no right to hold me here!" Cana ground out.
"Hey isn't that the concert chick?" Natsu asked out of no where.
Cana froze and looked over towards Natsu and Sting who were standing next to each other with their heads cock to the side in question.
"Yeah I think so..." Sting answered looking like he was deep in thought.
"Shit..." Cana muttered when everyone looked at her.
With Laxus & Lucy – Laxus' Apartment
Laxus unlocked the door to his apartment and lead Lucy inside. He would never admit it but he was slightly nervous. Not nervous in a bad way but nervous in a good way. He was excited that Lucy had agreed to come back to his place with him and he didn't want to screw this chance up.
"Laxus are you alright? You look a little anxious..." Lucy asked.

But before she could really think too much on it Laxus spoke. "Come back to me... Please..." Laxus said as she hid his face in her neck.

Laxus chuckled, "I wish... Gaj and Little Blue would most likely come hunting us down if we don't get back soon it's already been an hour..." Laxus said burying his nose in her hair.

"Do we have to go back..." Lucy whined.
Laxus chuckled as he turned in her hold and hugged her back. "I wish we didn't have to but you know how the others are... They'll start blowing up our phones soon..." Laxus said not wanting to go either.
Lucy pouted, "Fine..." Lucy grumbled.
Laxus grabbed his hoodie and her shirt from the couch, "Trade you?" Laxus asked as he held out the hoodie and shirt.
"But I'm comfy..." Lucy pouted.
Laxus chuckled, "As much as I love seeing you in my shirts I would like to avoid getting 100 questions from everyone when we get back..." Laxus said as she let go of him.
Lucy sighed, "Fine..." Lucy said taking the hoodie and shirt and changing.
Once both of them were dressed they headed towards the door. Neither one bothered to check their phones before leaving. Laxus had turn both their phones on silent just before they got to his place without her looking. He didn't want them to get interrupted. But if they would have checked them they would have seen the miss calls and texts that were waiting for them.
He had planned on what happened happening although he thought it would take more begging and talking before they got that far, not that he was complaining. Everything in him was screaming to screw it and stay with home with her but he knew they had to get back before the other came looking for them.
They left Laxus' place and headed to his car to head to Lucy's place for her to get a change of clothes. Laxus found that it didn't take long to get to Lucy's place from his. Which was a surprise in itself for him. If he would have known her lived that close to her he would have tried to make up with her sooner.
After Lucy got changed and they called in their order to the Chinese place for them to pick it up later they head out again to actually pick up the food. The place they ordered from though was a few blocks from the studio. They took the long way around so they wouldn't drive by the studio and possibly get caught by the others. They knew the others would most likely make a big deal out of the whole ordeal but they didn't feel like dealing with it right now.
After they got the food, they drove to the studio parking lot. Surprisingly enough there was no one in the parking lot waiting for them which shocked them to say the least. They had a bet on who would be waiting for them and turns out they both lost that bet since no one was waiting there for them to return.
"Now that's weird..." Lucy said out loud.
"Yeah really I could have sworn that they'd be waiting for us..." Laxus said with a chuckled as he took Lucy's hand.
Lucy giggled and leaned against Laxus' arm. They walked towards the elevator but they both heard a loud bang like a firecracker going off.
Next thing Lucy knew Laxus' hand slipped from hers and then the sound of a thud and plastic hitting the ground.
Lucy was stunned as she slowly turned around to see Laxus laying on the ground. It was like the entire world went silent. She watched him struggle to breathe. Next thing she heard was her own voice scream.
She launched herself forwards to kneel next to him covering the the hole in his chest that seemed to be bleeding.
"No! No no no! Please! NO!" Lucy cried pushing her hands against his chest to apply more pressure to try and slow down the bleeding.
She didn't even realize the group running up behind her after they exited the elevator.
"If I can't have him... No one will..."
Okay yes you all must hate me right now...
But in my defense I'm getting bored of this story which I must say is why I have so many stories to begin with...
I get bored with them so I start another one in hopes that I'll get some inspiration for the ones I was working on and got bored with...
Which is why it does take me a while to update and why I'm posting new stories...
WHICH I have another one I'm itching to just take over that hasn't been updated since August 7th 2018...
It was originally posted on July 2nd 2014 and has 43 short chapters...
And I do mean short...
So I would be putting 3-4 of their chapters in 1 chapter at a time...
So it wouldn't be 43 chapters when I'm done with it...
But also I would rewrite it to suit myself like I have done with other stories...
And the rating would be changed from T to M of course...

The twins names for EnSlaveMate I haven't been able to decide exactly on it but so far I came up with Naomi & Wyatt Or Ava & Owen...
I also considered Willow & Wyatt BUT Willow is too close to Willa which is used in I Didn't Know!...
