At the Changeling Kingdom, the Changelings were preparing for the big attack on Saurian Harbor. As they were getting torpedoes and bombs ready, as well as other attacks.

"The attack training is processing." A Changeling reported to Chrysalis. "For the success of this operation... High - level bombing and torpedo attack training are crucial, Queen Chrysalis."

"If we achieve surprise, the dinosaurs will offer little resistance." Chrysalis said. "Set up teams of radio operators to send out messages the dinosaurs will intercept. Concerning every potential target in their waters. Including the main island - the clutter will be more confusing that way."

"Brilliant, Your Majesty." The Changeling said.

"A brilliant one would find a way not to fight a war." Chrysalis said.

Central region, July

At one of Isla Sauro's Navy departments, a Coelophysis named Thurman was going through some codes.

"Look at this, look at this." Thurman said. "Getting some flooding in the Saurian with radio traffic. Everywhere from the north to the south."

"There's no logical pattern, Captain." A Camptosaurus said.

"No. There's always logic." Thurman said. "Whoever it is, they're trying to make us think they're heading north. I'm not buying it. Something, something, something's up. Otherwise, why would they take the trouble to heck me?"

At Saurian Harbor, Windshear was doing some flight training trying to get her mind off Toothless.

At night, Betty looked over from her bed as Evelyn was softly crying in concern of Rafe as the northern island chain's comms were still out.

The next morning, Sandra went up to Evelyn.

"Evelyn, I signed for these letters for you today." Sandra said handing them to her. "They're from the northern chain."

"They're from Rafe." Sandra said.

"I'm sorry, Ev." Sandra apologized. "You know how long it takes mail to get here."

At a rock section of the beach, Evelyn held the origami.

3 Months Later

Now October, it was dusk as some dinosaurs and dragon headed to a theater.

"Hurry up!" A Velociraptor said. "Show time, boys! Come on!"

Inside, a film played as it mentioned of Changeling sightings have suddenly lowered. And mentioned of anything aircraft being recovered at the sea off the northern island chain. Soon, Windshear and Evelyn headed outside as well as Danny.

"Evelyn!" Danny said.

"Danny." Evelyn said turning to him.

"Hey." Danny greeted.

"Some comedy, huh?" Evelyn said.

"Yeah." Danny sighed.

"It's been a while." Evelyn said.

"I've been logging a lot of flights hours." Danny said.

"Yeah, same here." Windshear admitted.

"I kinda been avoiding you, too." Evelyn said.

"Yeah." Danny said.

"Look.../Do you..." Danny and Evelyn suddenly said in unison.

"Do you want to?" Danny asked.

"Sure, yeah." Evelyn said.

Shortly later, they were in a restaurant talking.

"Yeah, I remember that 1 time when I was, like, 7 years old I was always building gadgets and things." Danny said. "1 day, he told me he want me to build him some wings so he could fly like his daddy."

"Yep, I remember that as well." Windshear said.

"I told him you can't fly without some kind of engine, right?" Danny continued. "But he wouldn't listen. And he told me: "Danny, never mind that, just build 'em anyway." So I did. And I'm up there strapping these big ol' wings on his back that we made from paper and glue and these massive silk bloomers that we stole. He looked so stupid, you know, and I told him "You can't jump off the barn in these". And "bam!" He busted his leg on a backhoe."

"Rafe couldn't even walk for 2 whole months after that." Windshear said. "And this one time, Toothless was doing these daredevil moves when we were 13, and he finished by landing on a tree. But then this sudden gust of wind came, and threw him into the air like he was nothing. And then SPLASH! He crashed into a nearby pond, he couldn't even fly straight from the wind."

"Gosh, I miss him." Evelyn said.

"Yeah." Danny said. "But don't you think that Rafe wasn't up there the next day. Cast and everything telling me to make some adjustments on those wings."

Evelyn smiled.

Elsewhere, Billy, Barbara, Red and Betty were heading out for dinner as a double date.

"Whow, check this out!" Billy said looking at a sign. "Crossroads of the Saurific. Kludgetown-1,700 miles! All right!"

They then headed off as a brown-scaled Saltasaurus, black-scaled Argentinosaurus and light gray Giganotosaurus were close by chatting.

Then Red looked at the sign for a moment.

"Say, Betty..." Red said.

Betty turns to him.

Red remained silent for a moment, and then got on 1 knee.

"W-Wou..." Red stuttered trying to say something.

Betty frowned unsure what he was doing, and then kneels down.

"No, Betty!" Red said. "Get up!"

"What's going on, Red?" Betty asked.

"You gotta stand up, please." Red said.

"What do you mean "get up"?" Betty inquired.

"Just stand up." Red said.

Betty then stood up.

"Stand..." Red said.

Suddenly Betty realized what was trying to do. "Oh! Ha!" She then beamed.

"Betty..." Red said.

"Red, come on!" Billy yelled out. "We got a dinner reservation."

Red then turns to them with a dry look.

"Can I get a minute?" Red asked.

"What the matter, you sick?" Barbara asked.

"You okay, Red?" Long-Tooth asked.

Red then turns back to them.

"Can a guy propose?!" Red yelled.

They were then shocked.

"Shut the front door!" Strong-One said.

"No way! Get outta here!" Alpha said shocked.

"Oh! Thank you!" Barbara happily said and hugs Billy.

Meanwhile, Danny, Evelyn and Windshear were still chatting.

"Am I talking too much?" Danny asked as Evelyn laughed a bit. "Sometimes I do that, I'm sorry."

Then Billy, Barbara, Red, Betty, Alpha, Strong-One and Long-Tooth walked by the window as Barbara soon saw them.

"Uh, hold up!" Barbara said. "Look at this."

They soon them outside.

"Hello!" Barbara said.

Danny, Evelyn and Windshear waved to them.

"Okay, let's get out of here." Barbara said.

She then rushed off dragging Billy.

"Okay, hey!" Billy said as they headed off.

"I guess I should go." Evelyn said.

"Don't let it be 3 months before I see you again." Danny said.

"I had a good time." Evelyn said.

"Yeah, me, too." Danny said.

Evelyn then got up.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" Danny offered.

"No, I'll be fine." Evelyn assured.

"No... of course." Danny said.

"Good night Danny." Evelyn said.

"Good night." Danny said.

Evelyn then went outside to head home as Windshear soon left as well.

The next day, Evelyn was at the hospital were the others were at.

"Did you have fun last night?" Barbara asked.

"It wasn't how it looked." Evelyn said.

"And if it was, it'd be all right." Sandra said. "It's been months. It's time to move on."

"I am moving on." Evelyn said.

"Ev, don't lie." Betty said. "All I know is, I hear you crying when you think I'm asleep. When my dad left I was too much for my mom to handle so she sent me to live with my aunt. I thought my life was over, but you don't know where it's all gonna lead. If I hadn't run away and lied about my age and enlisted in the Navy... I wouldn't have met Red, and... now he's my finance."

Evelyn then smiled as well as Sandra who heard of it earlier.

"Oh, gosh, I can't get used to that word." Betty said.

"It's only been 12 hours." Barbara said.

"Oh, Betty!" Evelyn smiled and hugged.

"Little Betty beat us all to the post." Barbara said.

"And this is Ward 3." Martha said showing some new recruits around. "As you can see, no patients. Welcome to Saurian. Come on, I'll show you the bar."

"Sandra, new recruits to torture." Barbara said. "Come on." She and Sandra then headed off. "Excuse me, ladies?"

"Hi!" Sandra greeted.

They hurried off to catch up.

"We're gonna wait 2 years until I'm 19 and Red can buy me a ring." Betty said.

Evelyn then laughed.

"Rafe sent his best friend to tell you so you would be okay, so you can move on." Betty said. "I mean, I don't know for sure if Rafe's okay. You gotta go on living, Ev."

Evelyn nodded and hugged her.

"Red!" Betty beamed.

Red then appeared with some flowers.

"Whoo! Sorry!" Betty quickly rushed off.

She hurried over to Red and hugs him as Evelyn watched.

Later at home, Evelyn placed her origami in a notebook with along with Rafe's letters. And soon placed it in a drawer.

"Bye, Rafe." Evelyn whispered.

Central Region Naval Intelligence

"The Changeling army is missing." An admiral Gorgosaurus said. "They're operating under radio silence. This footage was shot 4 days ago on October 28th."

They then turned to a map.

"Well, we're sending scout dragons in wider vectors all over the Saurific, but they get nothing." An officer Oviraptor said. "They could be anywhere in here." He gestured to a map area of a 2,000 mile between Sauro and mainland Equestria.

"I don't understand how an entire Changeling fleet can just disappear." The admiral Gorgosaurus said.

Thurman then turns to him.

Many hundreds of miles away, Chrysalis and hundreds more of Changelings flew over the ocean heading south towards Isla Sauro.

Back at Saurian Harbor, Danny was going over target practice.

"Clear!" He called out.

A Saurian Osprey then fires as Gooz and Anthony covered their ears as bullets were fired and soon ceased fire. And Danny looked at the fire damage.

"Aw, we're all over the page." Danny said. "We got 1 wall-eyed and 1-pigeon-toed. Anthony, tap in number 6."

"All right." Anthony said.

"Gooz." Danny said.

"Yeah?" Gooz said.

"Tap in number 3." Danny said.

"All right." Gooz said.

The next day, 1 Changeling that hasn't been caught so far has been gathering as much information on Saurian Harbor to report to Chrysalis.

"Do you have any air-tours going through the valley of Saur?" He asked through a comm pretending to be a tourist. "You do?"

He then sets up a hidden camera in a bag.

Later, we with a tour group as a Raptor and he secretly took as many photos of battleship row and many more selective targets.

At one of the distant remote islands, Chrysalis and some Changelings were going over the battle plan for the attack.

Hidden at the forest, the Changeling gathers up the photos.

He soon reports back to Chrysalis as she went over them, and looked over a map of Isla Sauro.

"They call it the vacant sea." A lemur said.

Naval Department, November 29

"None of the major sea lanes go through it, and you can bury the entire land mass of Equestria there an nobody would." The lemur said.

"From there, they could attack anywhere." The admiral Gorgosaurus said.

"Our last signals intercept indicate that the Changeling task force is heading north towards the open sea." The lemur said. "But Captain Thurman of Naval Intelligence here has his own theory about the missing bugs."

"Sir, I believe they'll try to hit us where it'll hurt us the most - Saurian Harbor." Thurman said.

"It's over 4,000 nautical miles from Changeling Kingdom to Sauro." The admiral Gorgosaurus said. "That's a long distance to steam a navy, Captain. Your theory is based on what?"

"Well, it's what I would do." Thurman said.

"That's not exactly hard evidence, Captain Thurman." The admiral Gorgosaurus said.

"Well, Admiral, if I had hard evidence we'd already be at war." Thurman said.

"Sir, we can read their diplomatic codes faster than they can type them." The lemur said. "But Captain Thurman's cryptology team is still trying to crack the naval codes."

"The intercepts have missing words and garbled lines... so to explain the decrypts, we have to try to interpret what we think they're trying to do." Thurman said.

"Interpret? You mean guess." The admiral Gorgosaurus said.

"They use their informed intuition, sir." The lemur said.

"We guess." Thurman said. "It's like playing chess in the dark. Any rumor, troop movement, ship movement spine-tingle, goose bump, we pay attention to it. Well, I see a strike on Saurian. It's the worst thing that could happen. A blow to Saurian would devastate the Saurific's fleet ability to make war."

"So, sir, you would have us mobilize the entire fleet at the cost of millions of units based on this spine-tingling feeling of yours?" The admiral Gorgosaurus said sounding unconvinced.

"No, sir." Thurman said. "I understand my job is to gather in interpret material. Making difficult decisions based on incomplete information from my limited decoying ability is your job, sir."

"Then break the dang naval code, Captain." The admiral Gorgosaur said. "So I can make a better decision."

"Aye, sir." Thurman said. "We are trying."

Many miles to the north, the Changeling army are still heading towards Isla Sauro.

And everything was nearly ready.

"I wonder we shouldn't put the Saurific Fleet on full alert." The admiral Gorgosaur said.

He turns back to a map.

"In case of the optimism of the "Saurian Advertiser" proves unfounded, what are General Short and the Army going to do protecting my ships?" Kimmel said.

"Within a 10-mile radius of your harbor we have fighter planes here at Wheeler, bombers at Sauram, and a trainingstrip at Sauriwa." A Velociraptor said gesturing to a model of the harbor.

On a remote island, the Changelings were getting ready as they went over the battle plan.

"We've recently established a radar station here that can detect planes 125 miles out." The Velociraptor continued.

"Which is a month old, Admiral, and untested." A Dromaeosaurus said.

"I've seen these new radar screens, Major." Kimmel said. "There's no way of telling whether they're ours, theirs or a flock of dang birds."

Saurian Harbor December 5

A lizard was working on a dental check-up on a T. Rex when a comm-link was heard. Another lizard fills in for him as he answered it.

"Hello?" He said.

What the lizard didn't know, is that the caller was a Changeling spy asking about Saurian Harbor which he can see from the office. And asked about the weather, and soon the Changeling hangs up.

"That was a strange call." The lizard said.

Kimmel was soon alerted by this.

"Why would a spy use a comm-link?" Kimmel inquired. "They know we tap all international lines."

"Our listeners feel it's probably not code talk." A Velociraptor said. "It sounds like someone in Sauro is sneaking around asking a local citizen the location of our carriers."

"Well, this make me feel all warm inside." Kimmel said sarcastically said. "Get Tyrant and Indom on it immediately. Have we found the doggone Changeling Fleet yet?"

"No, Admiral." The Velociraptor said. "The bases are looking all over the Saurific."

"So the entire fleet could be rounding Diamond Head, and we wouldn't know a thing about it." Kimmel said. "Get on it."

The Velociraptor and Camptosaurus saluted and head off.

The next night, on December 6, a black figure nears a building.

Inside, Windshear was doing a little reading as outside by a window, a reflection casted on a window.

At his place, Danny looked through a letter.

"We're alive. This is the first I could get word out."

Months ago, Toothless hits the water and was barely conscious as he started to sink.

Minutes later, he regains his senses as he quickly swims to the surface.

Towards night, Toothless was still weak as he hangs to a drifting log. And then a Pliosaurus and Scauldron scout patrolling the water ways pass by and saw him.

"Hey, you okay, bubby?" The Pliosaurus asked.

"Can you hear us, pal?" The Scauldron asked.

Windshear heads outside to meet up with the others, and then suddenly she gasped as she thought she was seeing a ghost.

In front of her was Toothless as he was still alive.

"I told you I'd come back." Toothless said. "Here, sit down. Sit down. Come here. It's okay. It's all right." He whispered.

"You're real." Windshear said.

"Yeah." Toothless said.

"I thought you were dead." Windshear said. "They said you were shot down in the sea."

"Yeah, I was." Toothless said. "I was in the ocean. It was so cold. I missed you. I got picked up by a scout team and I was in occupied Northwest region, and I couldn't get word out. And I'm just... I'll tell you all about it, I promise. But I'm fine. I'm okay. Rafe and everyone else as well."

Meanwhile, Chrysalis and her army were base camp and resting on a remote island just over 300 miles north from the main island of Isla Sauro. And Chrysalis and several other Changelings were listening to a radio in case they've been reported.

"If the dinosaurs had any suspicion of our attack... the radio would let us know." The Changeling said.

"Good." Chrysalis said. "I want to be sure our location hasn't been given out."

Back at Saurian Harbor, Toothless and Windshear recently arrived at a bar along with Rafe along with the rest of their friends.

"Raaaaafe!" Red happily beamed.

"Oh, dang nabbit." Billy said. "Here you go!"

"A real live ace!" Red yelled.

"Whoo!" The group cheered.

"An ace is only 5." Toothless said. "I shot down 6 Changelings. And I got 2 smokers, too. They don't count them. Of course, I got shot down myself before they could pin me."

"So you got back from behind enemy lines, huh?" Gooz said wearing a hulu shirt. "What's that combat like?"

"Were you scared?" Anthony asked.

"Come on, spill it!" Skya said.

"HEY!" Red yelled. "One at a time."

"Well, them bug boys can fly pretty good." Rafe said. "It's not like, you know, training."

"Hey..." Red said turning to Gooz snorting a bit. "Gooz, you're lookin' at a real live ace."

"Well, let me give you the shirt off my back." Gooz said getting up removing the hulu shirt.

"Whoo!" The others cheered.

"Aloha!" Gooz cheered. "There you go!" He hands Rafe the shirt.

"I'll take it from you." Rafe said. "I'll make a toast. To returning from the dead. Wasn't all I expected, but, well, that's life."

They all had their drinks.

Meanwhile, Chrysalis and a few Changelings were going over some last-minute planning.

"Our task force is 320 miles north of Saurian Harbor." Chrysalis said.

The 3 Changelings nodded.

Soon, midnight arrived as a Changeling removes a calendar page showing the date, December 7.

"The future of our kingdom is at stake." Chrysalis said. "We finish them, before they finish us. And then focus our attention back to Equestria."

Author's Note:

Next chapter, get ready for the big attack of Saurian Harbor.

I actually spent the entire morning watching Season 3 of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. And E750 is revealed as the Scorpius Rex, a prototype hybrid before the Indominus Rex herself. Cunning, fast, agile, intelligent, active both day and night, seeing heat from it's victims, and venomous like it's name sake the Scorpion Fish, it was a relentless monster.

And episode 2, Safe Harbor, I'm guessing a reference to Pearl Harbor and I guess Kenji did made a slight joke with those poppers.

And that 2001 Michael Bay film, Pearl Harbor will have it's 20th anniversary on the 25th.

And I was not expecting the last couple episodes to crossover with the opening scene of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. And a real surprise for the Jurassic Gang to meet Blue again.

And at the end of episode 10, cliffhanger with what dinosaur is in that closet. Guess it's now waiting for Season 4.
