Welcome to chapter four of Spectrum Hero! In this we have the battle trials along with some changes to canon once again. I hope that you all like with what I have planned since this is going to be good. I hope.
One thing I forget to mention is that Izuku's quirk is not able to let him fly since that would render Nana's Float quirk redundant.
Another is that I'm not going to go over what their hero suits look like except for Izuku, Katsumi and Momo since they are getting different suits. Everyone else looks the same.
I do not own My Hero Academia. I only own the manga of My Hero Academia that I bought with my own money. This story is just for fun and I am not making any money off this project.

Chapter 4: Costume Tests
(UA High/One Day Later)
Izuku was in the classroom of 1A and was waiting for Aizawa to start the day. As he waited, Izuku talked with his friends to pass the time.
"So what do you think is going to happen today?" asked Izuku.
"Not sure. But I can't wait to get to the hero course. That is why we are here." Said Katsumi.
"True. But that is the last class of the day and we have others to get through first." Said Momo.
"Yeah. I wonder who the teacher is for the heroic's class anyways. The pamphlet didn't show the teachers face." said Ochaco.
"I think it's meant to be a surprise." Said Izuku with a straight face, even thou he was grinning internally since he knew that it would be All Might.
"Ooh, I can't wait to find out who it is!" said an excited Mina. "Do you think its going to be a top hero like Best Jeanist?"
"I don't think so. While Best Jeanist does go to different schools as a guest teacher, I don't think that he will be the teacher for the Heroic's course here." Said Izuku.
"True. The heroic's teacher would need to be here almost daily to help both our class and 1B as well. Given that Best Jeanist works in another city it wouldn't be likely for him to be the teacher." Said Tenya.
"Either way. I am looking forward to getting to heroic's class." Said Katsumi with a small smile.
"So am I. I wonder if they finished our costumes yet?" asked Izuku.
"I hope so. I know that I am going to look hot in mine." Said Camie with a smirk on her face as she looked to Izuku who blushed since she was so close to his face.
Katsumi, Momo, Ochaco and Tsuyu twitched in jealousy with Camie so close to Izuku while Mina, Toru and Kyoka either smirked and giggled at the drama or rolled their eyes with a small smile on her face.
Just then Aizawa entered the room, and everyone gained super speed to sit in their desks before the man glared at them. Aizawa smirked at the fear in his students have of him after the first day.
"You're starting to think rationally. Good. There just might be some hope for you brats yet." Said Aizawa which made everyone, except for Izuku, Momo and Shoto, sweatdrop at their teacher. "Now then. Today is your first official day of UA high school. After the standard classes are over you will have heroic's class. Now certain days this will be either short or longer then most so be mindful of that moving forward. Today it will be a long one so keep that in mind as the day goes on. Now pay attention for you first class. I'm going to the teachers lounge to get some sleep."
With his peace said Aizawa left the room with his entire class sweatdropping at the man.
Izuku chuckles to himself with a few hearing him. "Ms. Joke must have kept him up late last night."
Just then Present Mic enters the room with his booming voice quirk. "WELCOME, CLASS 1A TO ENGLISH AND GRAMMAR!" he then posed in front of the class. "ARE YOU YOUNG LISTENERS READY TO ROCK!?"
Izuku chuckled at Present Mic's style of teaching with a few smiling as well while Kyoka had to hold her ears in pain due to the loud voice. Class 1A continued like this until it was time for the one period that every student looks forward to, lunch.
(Hallway/Lunchtime)
"Oh thank god!" yelled Mina as she walked out of the classroom. "I thought that history class would never end!"
"Tell me about it." Said Toru as she rubbed her head. "It was too much too fast for me at times."
"I thought that math was the worst. Ectoplasm must be using University level stuff." Said Camie.
"Stop complaining. It's lunch now so let's go get something to eat." Said Katsumi.
"Dudes. How are you okay with this material?" asked Denki to Izuku, Shoji and Shoto.
Shoji shrugged. "I just studied when I could. It isn't that difficult."
Shoto ignores Denki's complaining as he walks to the lunchroom.
"I thought that the material was easy really. Plus, if Ectoplasm did give us University level material, none of us would have been able to figure it out. With maybe Momo as the only exception." Said Izuku.
"I wouldn't say that." Responded Momo as she walked next to Izuku. "While I would understand some of it, I probably wouldn't understand everything in that level. Not right away that is." she said with a slight smirk to her.
"Yeah we get it Momo, you're a genius. You don't have to rub it in." said Setsuna with a smirk of her own as she and her class came around a corner.
"Hey guys!" said Itsuka.
"Hey Itsuka, Setsuna, Juzo. Going to lunch too?" asked Izuku.
"Yup. Kan-sensei just let us out to get some food." Answered Juzo.
"Cool, would you like to join us?" asked Izuku.
But before Itsuka, Juzo or Setsuna could answer, a boy with blond hair and blue eyes walks up to Izuku and speaks with a supposed superiority in his voice.
"Now why would we of class 1B eat with the likes of you cretins?" asked the boy.
The entire class of 1A looked to the boy with raised eyebrows when he said that.
"Monoma! Don't say that!" yelled Itsuka.
Neito Monoma however ignored Itsuka's yelling and turned to her.
"Why defend what you know to be true Kendo? Class 1A is nothing compared to us." Said Neito.
Katsumi growled at the boy since his attitude reminded her of Katsuki and she was not going to have to deal with another one.
"You.." started Katsumi but a hand on her shoulder stopped her from yelling at Neito. She looked to see that Izuku had stopped her from yelling, and she raised an eyebrow at him as he shook his head.
Izuku looked back to Neito with a sigh. "What do you have with our class? The year has just started and yet you have a grudge against us already."
Neito looked back to Izuku with a condescending smirk. "I am merely stating facts. Our class has the best of the best and not someone with a marked record." Neito looked to Katsumi when he said that which got the rest of the students to look at her with raised eyebrows.
Katsumi growled at Neito while also wondering how the bastard in front of her knows of her record since A) that was sealed and not public knowledge and B) the teachers would never say that to any of their students.
Izuku sighed once again. "It doesn't matter." That got everyone to look back to Izuku. "I have known Katsumi for years and I know what kind of person she is. Those marks on her records do not reflect to her or the hero that she will become. If I were you, I would get to know people before you make assumptions about them." Izuku then began to walk away from Neito.
Katsumi smiled at her friend for defending her while her cheeks gained a pink tinge to them.
Neito however began to get angry. He turned and said. "It still doesn't change the fact that I am the next number one hero!" a few people glared at him for that comment.
Izuku stopped mid step. He looked back and said. "You can have the number one spot."
Everyone looked to Izuku with wide eyes when he said that. Why doesn't he want the number one spot?
"Oh? And why don't you want the number one spot? You know that you'll never get it?" asked Neito with a victorious smirk.
"Nope. I don't care for the spot. All I want is to help as many people as I can. And while you are fighting for the number one spot, I'll be out there helping the people who need me." With saying his peace Izuku walks away to the lunchroom.
Many of the students were in awe of Izuku's little speech. Katsumi, Momo, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Camie, Itsuka and Setsuna smiled with brightly at Izuku with them also blushing lightly. Many of the guys were smirking at Izuku with Eijiro and a boy from Class 1B named Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu were crying tears while screaming manly.
Neito glared at the back of Izuku's head with anger in his eyes. He didn't like how Izuku just dismissed him like he was nothing.
"I show you who your superior is! No one makes me look like a fool!" thought Neito.
With that the rest of the students make their way to the lunchroom for lunch. Unaware of two teachers watching them.
Aizawa smirked under his scarf as Izuku walked away. He enjoyed it when people with ego was put down in front of others. Sekijiro sighed at Neito and his misplaced hatred of 1A.
"I'll need to keep an eye on Monoma it seems." Said Sekijiro.
"This wouldn't have happened if you didn't instill that stupid idea of beating my class in yours you know." said Aizawa.
"I was trying to motivate them." Said Sekijiro with a glare.
Aizawa turned around and walked to the teachers lounge. "If you need to entice them to make them work hard by trying to beat my class then they shouldn't be here in UA. If I was you, I'd expel that class while you still have the chance."
Sekijiro scowls at Aizawa a bit for that but sighs when the underground hero was out of sight.
"I'll prove to you Aizawa that they are meant to be here. I just need to make Monoma get rid of that grudge and fast before it gets out of hand." Said Sekijiro as he walks away to help his class.
(Lunchroom)
Both classes 1A and 1B were enjoying the food made by the Pro Hero Lunch Rush. They were able to get different kinds of foods that was available to them and each was just as delicious as the last.
"This white rice is so good!" said Ochaco as she ate her food.
"Hmm." Said Izuku as he ate his Katsudon. "It's good but not as good as my mom's Katsudon."
Katsumi chuckles. "I'm not surprised that you would say that." Said Katsumi as she ate her chili dusted ramen.
"Hey Midoriya, I got to say. That was really manly when you spoke to Monoma." Said Eijiro.
"Thanks, I think." Said Izuku.
"Don't mind him. He has always been like this." Said Mina as she playfully elbowed Eijiro in the gut which got the red-head to chuckle.
"Still, I am surprised that you don't want the number one hero spot. I would thought that you would want it like anyone else." Said Tenya.
Izuku smiled sadly at that. "I'll admit that when I was younger, I was like every other kid that wanted to be a hero. Take the top spot and be like All Might. But as the years went by that changed to helping people. Like I said, I want to help people, it doesn't matter what rank I would have. That won't stop me from helping those in need."
The group around Izuku smiled at his honesty and goal.
"That is so manly!" said Eijiro.
"Super Manly!" said Tetsu.
The two then looked to each other for a moment. Their eyes locked onto each other and the next second the two are in an arm-wrestling match to determine who was manlier.
The rest of the guys began to cheer them on with Tenya and Shoto being the exception while the girls roll their eyes at the two guys trying to out-do each other.
Momo however then remembers what Aizawa said yesterday about Izuku's quirk and asked. "Izuku, why didn't you tell us the full story about how your quirk manifested?"
Katsumi, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Camie, Itsuka and Setsuna perked up when Momo asked that with Itsuka and Setsuna more confused than anything.
"What do you mean Momo?" asked Setsuna.
"Our teacher Aizawa told the class yesterday that Izuku only had his quirk for over a year after a few were saying that he was lucky to have it. But Aizawa also told us that in order for Izuku to manifest his quirk was that he had to be near death as well." Said a worried Momo.
"What?! Why didn't you tell us that?!" asked Itsuka who was shocked to learn that while the other girls and Juzo, who over heard what Momo said, wanted to know why Izuku didn't say anything about that.
Izuku sighed at that, he knew that question was coming. He just wished that it was going to come on the second day.
"I didn't want to worry anyone. Last year I was attacked by a villain one day after school. It was because of that attack that the last part of my quirk awakened finally." Izuku picked up his left hand and looked at the black pinky which got everyone else to look at it too. "The Black Light of Death was the last light needed for my quirk to manifest. I'll admit, it wasn't something I wanted to experience but thanks to it, I finally have my quirk."
"Still." Said Setsuna who was worried for her friend. "It's still scary that you almost died for your quirk to manifest."
Izuku chuckled. "My mom said the same thing."
Katsumi laughed at that. "Oh I don't doubt that. I remember when she flooded the building when you and I came home with bruises on our cheeks from when we played tag."
Izuku chuckled at the memory since that was when they were three.
"How did you get bruises from playing tag? Why were you hitting each other that hard?" asked Ochaco.
Katsumi and Izuku stopped chuckling at that when they remember Who gave them their bruises. For Izuku, his came from a blonde haired, red eyed boy that took the game to far and for Katsumi, hers came from a black haired, green eyed girl that was mimicking the blonde-haired boy.
"Let's just say that we had two other people in our game of tag that took it too far and leave it at that." Said Izuku with a look in his eyes that said that he didn't want to continue to talk about it.
"Yeah." Said Katsumi with her own glare as her eyes shined in anger at the rest of the memory. "All that matters is that neither are here now and, won't be causing us anymore problems. Or give us stupid nicknames like Mi-chan or Deku." She growled.
Mina, Toru, Pony, Setsuna and Camie giggled at Mi-chan with Katsumi glaring at them for giggling. Ochaco was confused about Izuku's nickname.
"Deku? Like Dekiru as in you can do it?" asked Ochaco with a tilted head.
Izuku had to admit that Ochaco was so damn cute when she tilts her head. "Not really. Deku was a name that Katsuki gave me to insult me to mean Useless or Worthless."
Ochaco gasped and apologized to Izuku for saying that name, while the rest of the class was upset by the name.
"You don't have to apologize Uraraka. You didn't know what it meant so no harm done. But I like that you gave it a better term. Dekiru, I'll have to remember that." Said Izuku as he wrote the name down in a notebook that he carries.
Katsumi rolled her eyes at that but smiled all the same. If Izuku could figure out how to turn a hated nickname into one that people would rely on then he would really be a hero.
The classes then finished eating their lunches in peace as they talked amongst themselves. After lunch they went back to their respective classroom for the rest of their classes. The only issue was Neito complaining that 1A would be getting to have the heroic's teacher in their class first but was ignored by the others.
(Last Class of the Day/Heroic's Class)
Class 1A was now waiting for their teacher so that they could begin their last class when they heard the familiar laugh that everyone knew in Japan.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
Izuku smirked in his seat while the rest of the class almost jumped to their feet with smiles on their faces.
"Is that!?" yelled Eijiro.
"No way! It is really?!" yelled Katsumi with a wide grin on her face.
"I am….. coming through the door like a normal person!" yelled All Might.
Contrary to what he just said, All Might did not come through the door like a normal person and entered like a hero with the wind blowing through his cape. Not that the students cared, they were going to be taught by All Might!
"No way it is him! This is so manly!" yelled Eijiro.
"He is wearing his silver age costume. It's so different to what he wears now, kero." Said Tsuyu as she puts her finger to her lip.
"I know. It's giving me goosebumps." Said Ojiro.
"This is going to be so damn cool!" said Katsumi who then looked to Izuku and was surprised that he wasn't as excited as he should be. She then realized something. "He knew!"
Izuku was also smiling but then he heard something. Like small bursts of air. Izuku paled when he heard that. But before he could say anything a loud old voice yells out.
"You damn idiot!" came from the halls as a small yellow blur kicks All Might in the head which gets everyone to widen their eyes. "I said wait for me you blonde oaf!"
"I apologize Torino! But I was excited to start teaching!" said All Might.
"Whatever!" huffed Gran Torino.
The rest of the class was confused as to who the small old man is and why he kicked All Might in the head.
"Who is that guy? I don't recognize him." Said Sato.
"Neither do I." said Hanta.
"He looks kinda old don't you think." Said Mina.
"Hey Izuku. Do you know this…. Why are you shaking?!" yelled Katsumi when she saw her friend shaking in fear. The rest of the class looked to Izuku who was indeed shaking in his seat in fear.
"Yeah. I know him." Said Izuku who was still shaking. "His name is Gran Torino, and he was the teacher to All Might before he became a pro."
"Really?! That is so manly!" said Eijiro.
"But how come no one knows about him?" asked Ochaco.
"He is an underground hero like Aizawa-sensei, so he stayed out of the spot light." Answered Izuku.
"But why are you shaking?" asked Denki.
Izuku locked eyes with Torino and the old man just grinned at him which made Izuku shake in even more fear.
"Gran Torino came as a guest lecture last year for two weeks. I had the honor of training under him for a whole week as well." Said Izuku.
"Really? So you trained under the same guy that trained All Might? That is awesome." Said Eijiro.
"You say that now. But you don't know what I went through. The horrible training." Izuku's eyes gained a dark look into them as he remembered all the blows he took from the old man. His legs began shaking and Izuku tried to stop them. "Stop shaking legs dang it!"
The rest of the class went wide eye at Izuku with most now becoming worried. They looked back to the old man and they all shivered in fear as they could swear that there was some kind of demon floating behind the old man that made him look even more dangerous than even Aizawa.
Gran Torino was enjoying this, scaring snot nosed brats was a favorite pastime for him. But they had a limited amount of time. Oh well, there would more time to scare them later.
"Okay brats listen up! Today is your first day in the heroic's course. Like Midoriya told you, names Gran Torino. I'll be helping All Might here as an assistant since the oaf can't teach a fish to swim."
"I'm standing right here sir. And I can teach a fish to swim. You and Chiyo really have no faith in me." said All Might.
"In saving people, yes, we do have faith. In teaching the next generation on how to be effective heroes, no, not a shred." Answered Torino.
All Might slumps where he stood at how his teacher talked about him. But he got up and looked to the class.
"Ahem, Anyway. In this class we will be teaching all of you the fundamentals of hero work. Not everything is about fighting villains. This is a serious job and each of you have to put in a lot of work to be effective heroes. Today's lesson is an important one." Said All Might.
"That's right! And to that end, today's lesson is a Combat Test." said Torino.
The class perked up when they heard that. Heroes fighting villains was something that they all would watch when they were younger and now was their time to see if their quirks could be used in a combat situation.
"But first. You all need something that all heroes need. A staple of all heroes. Costumes!" yelled All Might as he pressed a button that showed the class twenty cases that held their costumes.
"YES!" yelled the class.
"Alright brats! Grab your gear, put it on and report to the battle site! You got fifteen minutes! If you're not there by then, then I'll find you and drag you to the site even if you're in your underwear! Now move it!" yelled Gran Torino as he and All Might left the room.
Izuku was the first to his case and grabbed it. He couldn't wait to see his costume that he and his aspects thought of in action. Everyone else grabbed their cases and dashed off to the changing room to put on their costumes.
(Boy's Changing Room)
Izuku was in the middle of changing into his hero suit when Tenya called out to him.
"Midoriya, what is that on your chest?" asked Tenya as he was putting on his leg guards.
Izuku looked down to his chest to see his scar over his heart. The scar looked like an imperfect circle of some kind over where his heart is. Izuku sighed when he saw it.
"It's a scar that I got when I was six. The doctors told me that it would never fully heal and even Recovery Girl said that my violet quirk nor her quirk could heal it." Said Izuku as he put on his hero suit finally covering the scar.
"How did you get it?" asked Denki.
Izuku slammed his case closed with greater force then necessary which got the other boys to look at him.
"Sorry, but please don't ask me that question. I don't like to talk about it." Said Izuku as he continues to put on his hero suit.
The other guys nod their heads and finish putting on their suit while Tenya berated Denki for asking that question.
Shoto however looked to Izuku with a curious look in his eyes. Unlike his own, which was from scalding hot water being poured on his face, Izuku's scar looked like it came from pure fire. Almost like someone lit their fist on fire and placed it onto Izuku's chest. Shoto would have to remember that for later.
(Girls changing room)
"You know." said Mina as she striped down to get into her hero suit.
"What is it Mina?" asked Ochaco as she was putting her uniform into the locker near her.
"I have to say, a lot of you girls are really stacked! What did you girls eat?!" asked Mina as she pointed to Momo, Camie and Katsumi.
Momo blushed as she looked to her breasts. "I take after my mother greatly. She said that she matured quickly when she was younger. All thou, she did say that I'm bigger then she was when she was younger and said that I would continue to grow."
"Seriously?!" yelled Mina and Toru.
Camie giggles. "I take after my mom too. She said that I would grow even more as I get older too. And don't be embarrassed Yaomomo! This is a beautiful thing! Plus, with our looks we can get the drop on the baddies much easier." As she held up her chest.
Momo blushed again while Mina and Toru giggled while Kyoka had a dark cloud over her head since she was severely lacking in the looks department. Kyoka looked to Momo and Camie and saw their large breasts and even Ochaco and Tsuyu had large breasts as well even if they weren't as big as the other two. Kyoka was about to look at Katsumi's chest when she widened her eyes when she saw Katsumi's back.
"Bakugo! What happened to you?!" yelled Kyoka.
The other girls looked and when they saw Katsumi's back they all gasped in horror at what they saw. On Katsumi's back is a large burn mark that came from just under her shoulders to the small of her back that also had cut scars as well. The girls were horrified by what they saw.
Katsumi looked back and saw the looks that she was getting and sighed. "Oh this? I got this when is was six. Been with me ever since." She said as she was putting on her black and green shorts for her costume.
"What happened, kero?" asked Tsuyu.
Katsumi looked off into the distance, almost like she was lost in thought. "Got this from my bastard of a brother. We were playing with our quirks one day and he took it to far. This was the end result."
The rest of the girls nod their heads in understanding. However, both Momo and Tsuyu noticed that there was something else eating away at Katsumi when she spoke about the scar. And they didn't realize how right they are, Katsuki was only half the problem that day since he as assisted by a blacked haired girl with green eyes.
(Battle Site)
All Might and Gran Torino were watching the clock when they heard the footsteps of their students. When they turned to look at them, both grinned at their hero suits.
Momo's suit was going to be a red leotard with her front open with a yellow belt that would hold a book for her to look things up to let her make use of her quirk. But after meeting Izuku and thanks to his analysis, she made a different costume. Her new costume is red in color but instead covers every part of her body with knuckle, arm, leg and chest guards. On her left arm is a high-tech impact resistance computer with everything that she would need to make on the fly. The costume is also self-repairing so she can make things from anywhere she would need. She still has a belt that goes around her hips which is full of useful items that she would need like high protein bars should she need it. Over the whole suit is a cloak that would keep her warm in the winter months and help to conceal her builds until it was too late for anyone to realize what she was building.
Katsumi's costume was different as well. The colors of the suit are mostly orange, black and green. Her main body is of a skin tight black shirt that has green and orange body armor over it with it making a cross over her chest for support. She has black and green shorts with orange flame decals on it. Her arms are bare except for her hands, which has gauntlets over them. However, unlike her original design or her brothers idea which were large and bulky, Katsumi's are slim and roughly half the size with a grenade like style. The main difference with hers is that instead of a single large container that would set off a large blast, Katsumi went with smaller holding tubes that fill quickly with her sweat letting her fire off small, yet precise explosions yet are able to fire rapidly if she needs them. Her boots also come with heating pads to allow her to fire off her explosions from her feet as well for more mobility and for combat situations. On her belt are six grenades that can be filled with her sweat and can be used from flashbangs, trip-mines to even small micro blasts to remove debris should she need it or if she begins to run on fumes. Over her face is a domino mask and around her neck is the necklace that Izuku gave her years ago but was given a reinforcement to make sure that it wouldn't be damaged.
Izuku's costume was unique as well but simple at the same time. A black body suit with green armor over his body. Izuku has gauntlets over his hands to cover his fingers but has ring like objects over his fingers to help focus his powers through them. Izuku also wears goggles that cover his eyes with mirrored lens to prevent villains from seeing when his eyes change color. On his chest is a symbol that matched the symbol that was with his Will finger. Izuku worked hard with his aspects to make this costume and it felt right for him to wear it.
"Wow. Nice suit Izuku. It looks good on you." Said Katsumi.
"Thanks and I like your suit Kacchan. I thought that you would go with the one that you made years ago thou." said Izuku.
"Yeah no. This is the suit that I wanted, and it works for me." said Katsumi.
"Well I think it looks great! But what about me? Don't I look hot Midori?" asked Camie as she leaned forward giving Izuku a good look at her cleavage.
Izuku blushed at how close and at the sight of Camie's bust. "You look great Utsushimi."
Camie smiled. "Thanks fame!" she then looked to the other girls and smiled at their suits. "I have to say, you and Tsuyu look so cute Ochaco. Tsuyu's suit works well with her frog looks while you have a nice space theme going for you."
"Thanks." Said Ochaco as she blushed. "It's a little tight thou."
"Makes you look cuter!" said Camie.
"Kero. I'm glad that this suit works for me. My siblings and I worked hard on designing it." Said Tsuyu.
"You both look great in them." Said Izuku as he tries to contain his blush. It wasn't easy since the girls suits were form fitting and left little to the imagination! And was it just him or did Katsumi get bigger again?
It got even worse for Izuku when Momo came over to him. She was already one of the most beautiful women that he ever seen but damn did she look like she was poured into her suit!
"I want to thank you Izuku. This suit is a lot better than the original that I was going to have made. Thank you for helping me with my suit." Said Momo with a smile.
"You're welcome." Said Izuku with a raging blush on his face. Why were all his female friends so damn hot?! He could almost imagine what Itsuka and Setsuna look like in their costumes. Izuku had to shake his head when that thought entered his head.
All Might saw that his successor was enjoying his time with his friends but couldn't keep the smirk off his face at seeing all the girls around him. He just knew that Inko would love to hear this. But he still had a class to run so he coughed and got their attention.
"Welcome students! They say that the clothes make the man or ladies. But today you are heroes!" said All Might.
"Nice work on getting here quickly too. Heroes need to be fast, and the people would hate to have to wait for you to put your pants on before you can save them." Said Torino.
The students smiled when they heard that their teachers liked their suits.
"But today we are going to put your suits to the test." Said Gran Torino.
"That's right students! I originally wanted to have your class go through a two-on-two hero vs villains fight but Gran Torino had a better idea for your first test." Said All Might.
"Right. Today we want to look at how your costumes work in the field. In the field of heroes you will need every advantage to help save civilians and take down villains. So we want to see if there are anyways to improve your costumes if they need it or if they just need some refinement. Trust us on this brats, there are way to many cases where a hero made their costume more look appealing over practical and it got them killed." Said Gran Torino.
"That is why today, we will have each of you head into the zone to fight off the faux villains from the entrance exams and see what needs to be changed and improved." Said All Might.
"Sirs!" asked Tenya. "Who will be going first?"
"We will go by seats. Now as each of your classmates are out in the field watch carefully. You may notice something that could help each other with your costumes that they might not see. But before we begin." All Might then looks to Izuku. "Young Midoriya, Nezu wanted to let you know that he would like you to use a different light for practice today. You'll need to use more then the three that you have been using."
Izuku nods his head with a sigh. He knows that he should, but the others have been a lot more difficult to use. Just using the Red-Light yesterday was difficult due to the inherit rage that comes with it.
"I understand All Might, Gran Torino" said Izuku.
But before either could say anything, a different voice answered Izuku.
"Glad to hear it Midoriya." Said Nezu as he came in by riding on Aizawa's shoulder. Everyone looked to their principal and their teacher walk in. "A hero has to be willing to give it all with everything that they have. If you are unwilling to do that, then you won't last long as a hero."
"Nezu is right." said Aizawa as he glared at his students which made them sweat in fear of the man. "So in this test you will give it your all. Show us different ways of using your quirks along with your costumes." He then looked to Shoto with a poignant look saying that he had to use his full power.
Shoto glared back at his teacher while clenching his fists in anger that he had to use his fire quirk.
"I don't care what Aizawa-sensei says. I won't use my fire." Thought Shoto.
"Alright zygotes! Let's begin! Young Aoyama, you're up first!" said All Might as he pointed to the blonde French/Japanese boy.
"Then I will show everyone my beautiful sparkles!" said Yuga as he walked out towards the zone.
Izuku walked over to the glass window to get a better look while also taking out a notebook to write an ideas he would get about Yuga's quirk and how to help him. The rest of the class walked over to see what they would be up against later after Yuga was over while the teachers were in the back watching.
Yuga did okay for his run, but after a few minutes he began to have problems with his quirk's side effects. By the time that he was done, Yuga was holding his stomach trying hard to not poop his pants. Izuku made some notes about different means of using the energy of Yuga's quirk much like he does with his rings for his suit.
Mina was up next and did better then Yuga thanks to her acid. But like Yuga, Mina ran into problems with her quirk due to her weaking resistance to her own acid. Izuku made notes that she should have something like Katsumi's gauntlets and grenades to hold her acid for later to help her in prolonged situations but also made notes to have her work on her resistance to help in hero work.
Tsuyu went third and so far she had the easiest time. Her frog like biology helped her take down the robots with little difficulty. Izuku's made a note to had her have her suit take in water but not let it out so that it would keep her hydrated in hotter areas.
Tenya also had an easier time but by the end of his test his engines began to stall. Izuku's notes that Tenya should have containers to hold orange juice to help keep Tenya working along with notes to add different engines to help with thrust to keep Tenya in the air for situation were he would have to chase someone from rooftop to rooftop.
Ochaco had a bit of difficulty after her side effect came into play but still did better then Yuga. Izuku made notes for Ochaco to have support items over certain pressure points to help with her motion sickness. He also made notes for Ochaco to add forearm guard loaded with grapple launchers to note only help her move faster but also to help catch villains as well. Izuku also made notes of having Ochaco's anti-gravity powers condensed into energy blasts like what Yuga does for his quirk with the belt. Another thing for Ochaco would be wings or a jetpack to increase her mobility.
Ojiro did great with his mobility and his quirk. Izuku only made notes that Ojiro should have other none-lethal weapons like a collapsing Bo staff or even wrist blades for the tougher opponents and even a grappling hook to help get to higher areas.
Denki had the worst time so far since he over did it within a few minutes. It got so bad that All Might had to go in to help after the blond boy was dog piled by the robots. Izuku made notes to add many different items to help keep Denki out of his Whey modes as much as possible like a circuit breaker. Other things like metal knuckle guards to increase his punching powers and even maybe even a taser mode would help him, and even whips that can be charged by his electricity as well.
Eijiro did okay but Izuku noticed that he seemed to be holding back a bit, almost like he didn't truly believe in himself or his quirk. The only thing that Izuku seemed that Eijiro would need is a neck-guard since even he would need to breath while he is still using his quirk.
Koji did okay but the boy was incredible shy despite being one of the larger boys in the class. But his quirk is impressive, as soon as Koji gets some confidence. Once he gets that then Izuku has no doubt that he would be a great hero. The only thing that Izuku notes is that Koji should try to incorporate insects to his animal arsenal to help with hero work. And maybe a large hammer to allow the boy to defend himself in areas where there are no animals to call on for help.
Rikido did okay as well but thanks to his quirk he forgot about the training and continued to fight even after he was told to stop. Izuku noted that Rikido only uses regular sugar and made notes to have the teen try other sugars to see if they could do anything else other then just increase his strength. Another thing was adding knuckle guards to his fists to protect them and increase his punching power.
Mezo was next and he did okay with the test thanks to his quirk. Izuku had the most difficult time with Mezo's quirk since his was the most unique out of the class. Ultimately, Mezo would need to have special support equipment to help Mezo with his quirk.
Kyoka went next and did an okay job with the fake villains with her jacks. The notes that Izuku noted that Kyoka should carry a weapon that she could plug her jacks in to make the weapon vibrate to let it do more damage and have her carry different sound effects to help her so that she doesn't need to rely on her heart all the time.
Hanta had done a good job at disable the faux villains thanks to his tape. Izuku notes that Hanta would also have a bit of difficulty getting new support gear since his quirk is already useful in hero work.
Izuku had a field day with Fumikage since it wasn't everyday that he met another person with a sentient quirk. The main difference was that Dark Shadow could be used outside of Fumikage's body while Izuku's could only operate within him. Izuku did note that Fumikage tends to let Dark Shadow do most of the work instead of fighting by his quirk's side. If Fumikage could work on that then he would be an even more effective fighter. The only thing that Izuku notes that Fumikage should have with him is a portable light source to keep Dark Shadow under control if he is in area with little light.
Izuku was impressed with Shoto's powerful quirk since the two-toned boy was able to end his test in a second with a large blast of ice. Izuku did note that the teachers were not impressed by the show of power and were more annoyed then anything. Izuku wanted to see the power of Shoto's fire quirk but it seemed that the boy didn't need to use it.
Izuku blushed when he realized that Toru was indeed naked as she ran around turning the robots off. Izuku made notes that the support course should make the girl a suit made of her hair or skin to help her with that since a girl should NOT be running around naked while out in the field.
Izuku was once again impressed when Katsumi tore through the robot villains with ease and grace that most weren't expecting from a girl with an explosion quirk. She thought carefully with her quirk in mind for her costume. Izuku didn't see much for her to change of her suit at this time.
Izuku was meant to go next but was told to go last so Camie went next, and she did her best with her quirk. Izuku made notes that Camie should carry some shock batons for added attacking power to let her knock out villains while they are distracted by her glamor quirk.
Momo proved why she got in through recommendations as she got the second-best time of the day behind Shoto. She made powerful cannons to take down the faux villains with grace like that of a lady of class.
It was now Izuku's turn and was heading down to the field. He took in a deep breath and looked at his fingers.
"I know that Nezu is right. I can't keep on relying only on three parts of my quirk. I can't let my past hold me back, especially my fear. So." Said Izuku as the symbol on his chest changed to match the one on his yellow finger. "I'll show them the power of my fear."
As they waited for Izuku to start, the class was talking amongst themselves.
"So what do you think that Midoriya will do?" asked Rikido.
"I'm not sure. I know that it won't be white so that leaves five other colors that Izuku can use." Said Momo.
"Hey Yaomomo." Said Katsumi. Momo looked to Katsumi as did the other students. "What are the emotions that power Izuku's quirk? You seem to know them best."
"I do. Izuku told me that each light is powered by different emotions or aspects of life. White is Life, Violet is Love, Indigo is Compassion, Green is Will, Blue is Hope, Yellow is Fear, Red is Rage, Orange is Avarice and Black is Death." Explained Momo.
"Seriously?! What kind of quirk do Midoriya have?" asked Denki.
"One of the most dangerous ones to exist." Said Nezu. The students looked to the chimera as he spoke. "Young Midoriya may seem to be blessed to have this quirk but it came at a cost. In order for his quirk to activate he needed outside stimulus to awaken."
"So he had White since his birth then?" asked Mezo.
"No." answered Aizawa. "All Nine aspects had to awaken before Midoriya could use his quirk. So for most of his life he lived like he was quirkless."
Most of the class went wide eye at that. One of the most powerful members had lived his life without a quirk until recently.
"That must have sucked. Not having a quirk for so long." Said Hanta.
"You don't know the half of it." Said Katsumi. She held onto her necklace as memories came back to her. Memoires of seeing Izuku covered in his own blood while people laughed at his misery and suffering. "Izuku was bullied day in and day out for ten long years. No one, not even the teachers wanted to help him. The only ones that stood by his side was myself and his mother along with my parents."
The class watched as Katsumi's eyes boiled with anger at the memories that filled her mind. She still feels like a failure for not protecting Izuku when he was younger.
"Um, Katsumi. How bad was the bullying?" asked a scared Ochaco. She really hoped it wasn't as bad as she thinks it is.
Katsumi held her necklace tighter. "It got so bad that Izuku was baited into taking his own life."
Everyone went wide eye at that. Ochaco, Tsuyu, Camie and Momo covered their mouths in horror to hear that Izuku was baited to try and kill himself. Even Shoto was surprised when he heard that his fellow classmate was told to kill themselves while the guys were both shocked and enraged that someone said that to their classmate.
"I don't know the full details but Izuku's quirk activated on the day that he was told to kill himself. If he needed to experience death for his quirk to activate, I'm afraid of how it awakened." Said Katsumi who hated to think that her best friend trying to take his own life.
"Don't worry students! Young Midoriya didn't try to take his own life. It turns out that a villain had attacked him and that in turn let his quirk activate. I happened to be in the area and got young Midoriya to the safety UA where Recovery Girl helped to figure out his quirk." Said All Might as he allayed his students growing fear.
The students sighed in relief that Izuku didn't try to take his life. Momo was especially glad that her first friend didn't try to take his life and was glad to have met him. Katsumi was also happy that her friend didn't go down that dark path but also cursed herself for not being there to help Izuku when he needed it.
Just then Izuku walks out onto the field with the symbol change.
"Hey, is it just me or did the symbol on Midoriya's chest change?" asked Hanta.
"It did." Said Shoto.
"Hmm. It seems that Midoriya is going to show us his fear." Said Nezu.
"Let's see what he can do." Said Aizawa.
"Agreed. Start it up All Might!" yelled Torino.
"Right!" yelled All Might.
"Do well Izuku. But know this, while we are in class you are just another student, and I won't play favorites. So show them what you can do." Thought All Might.
Izuku calmly walked out into the zone and made twin pistols out of yellow light and readied himself as he waited for the first robot. He didn't need to wait long as a robot came from an alleyway trying to attack him but got shot to pieces like it was made of paper. Another robot got in close but Izuku made a shotgun and blasted the robot in the head and then in the chest. He got rid of the guns and made scimitars out of the yellow light and slashed a group of robots that came after him.
"Damn look at him go! He is tearing into them like they are cardboard!" said Denki.
"He is doing well. But look at the large group that is coming. He is going to have trouble with that." said Kyoka.
"No he won't. Midoriya can use that giant beam attack to destroy them with ease." Said Ochaco.
"But if he did that he would damage the buildings, kero. When he used the beam attack it was pointed upwards into the sky, so he didn't hit anything, kero. Other than the zero pointer." Said Tsuyu.
"Oh yeah. But I still think that he can handle this." Said Ochaco.
And handled it Izuku did. Seeing the large group of robots Izuku went with something he had been working on. Izuku made two large gatling guns on each arm and fired at the robots. Within seconds all of the robots were down. Just as Izuku was about to head back, he pointed his right hand behind him and blasted a robot that survived in the head without looking back to aim.
The students were shocked at Izuku's level of control with his quirk since he only got it last year. Even the teachers were impressed with Aizawa grinning under his scarf, Nezu giggling while drinking his tea, Torino smirked, and All Might had the smile of a proud father on his face.
"Damn that was so manly!" yelled Eijiro.
"No kidding. Damn he is making us look like slackers!" said Denki.
"Then we just have to work harder! If Midori can get that good then so can we! Who's with me?!" yelled Mina.
"Yeah!" went most of the class with Shoto not saying anything since he knew that he could out do Midoriya and Koji due to his shyness.
The teachers were glad that the students were going to work even harder then before. After seeing Izuku in action, the students knew that they had no excuse to not work just as hard as him. That was one of the reasons why the teachers wanted Izuku to go last, another was so that Izuku could take notes to help his classmates with their costumes and their quirks.
Afterwards, the teachers explained that they could look over Midoriya's notes on altering their costumes and make changes to suit their needs if they wanted to which most of them did since they want to be the best that they could be. But before they could leave, Shoto was asked to stay behind by Aizawa and Nezu since the duo needed to have a word with the dual haired boy.
With this the second day of UA high was over. But what the students didn't know was the dark forces working in the backgrounds.
(Location Unknown)
In a small bar in the middle of nowhere sits a man reading the paper. What he reads intrigues him greatly.
"Hmm. So, it is true. The symbol of peace is now a teacher at UA. How very interesting." Said a man with blue hair.
"Yeah. This could be our opportunity to kill him and maybe a few of his brats at that school." Said man with a dark chuckle escaping his lips.
"Should I contact our partners for some added help for the mission?" asked a man made out of gas.
"Yeah. Even if he can only give us one of his men then it would help the raid." Said the blue haired man.
The gas man nods his head and disappears from sight.
"Just you wait All Might. I'm going to destroy everything that you love and care for. I'll leave nothing left of you in this world! No one will remember you once I'm done with you!" yelled the blue haired man as he turned the paper that he was holding to dust and as his ally sits drinking with an evil smile on his face.
(Rehabilitation Center/Musutafu)
"Fucking Deku. Fucking Bitch. They put me in here since they know that they wouldn't be able to beat me. Damn Deku lying to me for years, just awakening his quirk. What bullshit! He lied to me to make me look like an idiot and Katsumi was in on it I know it! When I get out of here I'll get back at them and take the number one spot!" yelled Katsuki from his room in a strait jacket as he mutters to himself.
"Would you like some help with that?" asked a voice.
Katsuki looked to the door and was curious as to how he didn't hear it open to see a man with long black hair that covers most of his face while the man carries a laptop in his left hand. Katsuki could see that the man had a smile on his face, almost like he had been looking for Katsuki for some time.
"Who the fuck are you?" asked Katsuki.
"Just call me a friend for now." Said the man as he walked into the room and sat down in one of the chairs. "Katsuki Bakugo: Quirk Explosion. The former top student of Aldera Middle School and if my info is right a prime candidate to being the next number one hero. Tell me, how did you go from that to this?"
Katsuki growled. "Because of lying fucking Deku that's who! He stole from me everything because he knew that he couldn't beat me!"
The man nods his head. "Sounds about right. Tell me something, what do you think about quirkless people? About the weak?"
"Those extras don't belong in the world. Quirkless people are the worst of the worst since they don't have any power to call their own and have to rely on others to make them strong. They shouldn't exist." Replied Katsuki.
The man grins even wider. "Interesting answer. One last thing, if given the chance would you like to get back at this Deku person? To become even greater then All Might?"
Katsuki looked into the mans eyes to see any deceit but saw nothing but honesty. Katsuki grins at the man. "What are you offering?"
The man grins once again. "A place where those with power are on top of those who are weak. A place where the strong will never bow to the weak and powerless."
Katsuki was liking what he was hearing. "So what do I call you then?"
"Call me Skeptic. And I want to talk to you about the Meta Liberation Army." Answered Skeptic with a wide grin on his face.
Katsuki's grin became even larger to the point that it looked like it was going to come off his face. He would get his revenge one way or another.

(Omake/Two Weeks after the Ms. Joke Incident)
(Meet Fat Gum the Orange Lantern)
Izuku was walking next to Hound Dog after a therapy lesson and was now heading to meet up with Nezu for more training with his quirk.
"I want to thank you for time to help me Hound Dog-sensei." Said Izuku.
"No problem kid. Grr, you needed the help and as a hero it is my duty to help you. No one deserves to go through what you went through." Said Ryo.
Izuku nods his head in gratitude. They then reach gym gamma to see Nezu and Midnight waiting for them.
"Greetings Midoriya. I trust that your session with Inu went well." Said Nezu.
"Yes sir." Answered Izuku.
"Excellent! Now on to the training of the day. Now I want you to use the orange power on Midnight." Said Nezu.
"Not violet?" asked Izuku with a tilted head.
Midnight giggles at Izuku. "Aizawa is still steaming from what happened two weeks ago. So until he calms down we will work with your other powers till then."
"Right. Hold still Midnight-sensei." Said Izuku.
He powered up his orange finger and pointed at Midnight to give her the power. But just as Izuku fired, for some strange reason that no one, not even Nezu, knows why, two men walk into the line of fire carrying a large mirror. The orange light bounces off the mirror and it ricochets out of the gym and into the school.
"Hey! Where do you need this mirror?" asked one of the men.
The three teachers watched as the orange light flies into the school and then turn to the two men while glaring at them which makes them sweat. Izuku can only hope that nothing to bad goes wrong and that the teachers don't murder the two men.
(In another area of the school)
Sir Nighteye, Ryukyu and Fat Gum were walking down a hall while heading to the principal's location to discuss an incident that happen during the internships with their students.
"How was I supposed to know that guy was allergic to sea food?" asked Fat Gum.
"You could have asked me. I had the mans records." Said Sir Nighteye.
"It doesn't matter right now. What matters is that we help our interns from bad press. It doesn't help that Suneater caused that villain to bloat like a pufferfish or that both Lemillion and Nejire-chan hit the villain as he started to lose oxygen." Said Ryukyu.
"Right. The villains family is trying to sue the three of them and to get them out of the hero course." Said Sir Nighteye. He wouldn't let that happen to either of them especially Mirio since Nighteye still sees the boy as the best candidate for One For All.
Just then an orange glow came from the other end of the hall. While the heroes had years of experience under their belts, the narrow corridors made it impossible for them to dodge. Especially the largest of them all. Sir Nighteye and Ryukyu hit the floor to dodge what they thought of as an attack, but Fat Gum wasn't as lucky. The orange light enveloped the BMI hero in an instant.
"Fat! Are you alright?!" asked Ryukyu.
Fat Gum was silent for a moment but then he spoke. "Hungry. I want food!" he then dashed off with speeds that were impressive for a man of his size.
"Fat Gum where are you going?!" yelled Sir Nighteye.
Just then Izuku, Nezu, Midnight and Hound Dog came over to them and help the two heroes up off the ground.
"Are you two alright?" asked Midnight.
"Fine for the moment. But we need to go after Fat Gum." Said Ryukyu.
"What happened to Fat Gum?" asked Ryo.
"He was hit with an orange light and then said that he was hungry then ran off." Said Sir Nighteye.
The group paled when they heard that. Then from far off they heard a loud scream coming from the cafeteria.
"Not good! He's in the cafeteria! Come on before someone gets hurt!" yelled Ryo as he dashes off.
"What is going on?" asked Ryukyu.
"We were in the middle of testing one of Midoriya's quirks when two idiots brought in a mirror and his power bounced off it and it is now in Fat Gum. We need to get Midoriya close for him to take it back." said Midnight.
"Then let's not delay." Said Sir Nighteye.
The heroes and Izuku dashed off to stop Fat Gum from whatever it was he was doing in the cafeteria.
(Cafeteria)
It was an all-out brawl in the cafeteria. The students were fighting off the hero Fat Gum as he was eating all of the food while leaving none for anyone else.
"Begone! This food is mine! Mine! Mine! MINE! It is mine and only mine! All the food is mine!" yelled Fat Gum.
Nejire was standing on top of a table with a juice pack in her hands.
"We will stop you Fat Gum! Justice will be swift. Justice will be painful! It will be delicious!" Nejire yelled as she crushes the juice pack making the juice explode out of the pack. The rest of the students cheered with Nejire.
What happened next could only be called one of the greatest food fights in the history of mankind happened in the Cafeteria of UA. Quirks and food was thrown at Fat Gum as the pro hero used his own quirk and the power of Avarice to fight off the students by making copies of himself. In the end it took the combined powers of the entire third year hero course students to put an end to Fat Gum's hungry reign of terror.
By the time that it was all said and done, Lunch Rush was furious that his food was wasted like it had been and was smacking Fat Gum on the head for being the main cause of the problems. Fat Gum and the students had to clean up everything in the cafeteria as punishment for the food fight with Izuku helping since it was because of his quirk that caused this to happen in the first place.
It was after this incident that Nezu and Izuku made plans to figure out a safer way of transferring Izuku's powers to another person to stop these kind of issues from happening again.
It should be noted that Fat Gum had eaten over two weeks' worth of food by the time that he was stopped.

I hope that you like how this chapter went! Just so that everyone is aware, these Omake DO happen in this story and are canon within this story UNLESS I say otherwise. Think of the omakes as side stories that happen between scenes. For the next few chapters the omakes will happen during the ten months of Izuku's training and then we will get to the more resent stuff.
Now onto other things that need to be said.
I never understood as to why none of the teachers didn't try to help Shoto with his refusal to use his fire quirk in canon. I get it that it was so that Izuku could help Shoto out of that problem that he was in but that seemed just a bit lazy on that part.
Another thing that I didn't understand is why they never thought of making better costumes for the class. Yuga is a great example since the boy could only use his quirk for a single SECOND before it goes kaput on him and gives him a stomach ache. The same problem is with Toru since she is literally walking around NAKED! No girl should be naked while doing hero work for any reason! That will be rectified in this story as will a few other problems that I think need to be fixed for certain characters.
Now one last thing. I have changed the harem list. I have taken out a few girls from the list since a few people have stated that a few wouldn't be good with Izuku and after careful thinking, they are right. So those girls will be put with other characters and I have some great ideas for who they will be. Which will be down below so you all can give me your input on it.
